Playing Persona 3 Reload is super fun because I enjnoy finally seeing everyone in 3D!! (I've only played Portable), but you just blissfully ignore the fact that the game is going to make you freaking cry.

Also clinging to the stupid hope that Atlus will make a DLC with FeMC, but I know it will never happen. 🥲

If atlus wasn't a coward when it comes to persona crossovers we'd see SEES' shadows being bitter, angry, almost jelous of the fact that Yu and Joker are there.

That they're alive, that they're here, they survived things as catastrophic as them, they got to defeat gods too, the phantom thieves changed the cognition, the ideas, that were dooming the world, and Joker is still there

While none of them would actually act like that to them, because they're 'over their grief', their shadows, their true selves, who know that grief is something that never truly leaves you, can out those thoughts that they don't want to

And they hate it, they refuse it, because they know that not what he would want but at the end, it is something they do feel, and it's okay to feel, as long as you know what you're feeling and not to harm others for it, it's not their fault

I just think it could be really interesting, because yeah, the answer, but if you've ever lost someone you know that you don't stop missing them, you learn to move on, but it doesn't mean you forget, you can go trhu all the stages of grief, and yet, once or twice, you'll have an angry thought at the world, as small it can be (for example, if you lost someone for an accident and they fix whatever caused that accident 'Oh, now you can fix it, it couldn't have been back then?'), or you'll feel the sadness again (maybe on their birthday, on the anniversary of their passing, or just, one day you wake up and you miss them), it's like that

- someone's confidant rank would affect their dialogue outside the confidan, so people's character development can't magically evaporate

- they would be normal about women and teenage girls.

- actually examine the implications of anything it brings up especially about policing and the justice system no really atlus you're telling me someone who thinks about this shit as much as makoto niijima does would still want to be a cop after everything that happens, including that she's saying this to a literal victim of police brutality. you really think this makes sense for the character you've created, atlus? or did you just make a game that claims to talk about Big Ideas without even thinking about that yourself listen to me --

- would actually consider if a game event adds anything of value to the experience before putting it in the story. it still kind of amazes me that the hawaii trip is that useless and unimportant when it's in a part of the story that's already dragging. who thought this was a good idea

Just started Persona 3 Reload and went in astoundingly spoiler free and it's been going well but what the actual fuck do you mean that you can't have social links with your male party members? Why would you keep that in the remake? Especially when there's no female protagonist. I read there's hangout substitutes but why have that at all. It makes the male party members feel disconnected from the game. God just when Atlus was on my good side they throw some fuckshit in there just to appeal to straight men. Again. Just let me make out with Junpei and Akihiko you fucking cowards.

hey. guys. did you know that the song that plays at the end of p5r true ending is well. very obviously about akechi. but i did my usual thing where i get mad at translations that could have been so much more sappy and much sadder. and hey!! did you know that the song ABOUT AKECHI literally has the line

“the warmth, our connected hands and your voice

it would disappear into a dream once i wake up”

or something alone those lines

and if this isnt sappy and romantic i dont know what is. atlus doesnt let you date akechi and yet shoves in a song that implies akiren remembers akechis voice and his warmth and the feeling of his hands (implying they have held hands

PUT ADACHI IN P3 RELOAD YOU COWARDS

On episode 11 of the Persona Stalker Club, someone submitted a question asking if Adachi used to live in Iwatodai since he talks about driving past the Moonlight Bridge when he sees it in P4U2. They were so curious about it they started eating cabbage 3 times per day.

Atlus replied that he didn't necessarily live in Iwatodai, but he used to work in the city center and would take the scenic route back to HQ so he could drive by Moonlight Bridge so he could imitate a character on a cop show.

So, hear me out here: If Adachi used to work in Iwatodai, THEN HE SHOULD HAVE A CAMEO IN PERSONA 3 RELOAD. IF YUKIKO, KASHIWAGI, AND FUCKING VINCENT FROM CATHERINE CAN ALL HAVE CAMEOS IN PERSONA 3, THEN ADACHI CAN TOO!!!11111 WHAT IS THE POINT OF GIVING FANS THIS INFORMATION IF YOU AREN'T GOING TO ADD HIM INTO P3 RELOAD???

A bit ago I had an idea for a new au because I’m insane I guess, this one is for Persona 3. Back in the day (2010) I used to play the Portable version on the PSP and even though I only ever romanced Shinjiro I was well aware of the line in the Ryoji romance line “I would still like whether you were a guy or a girl.”, but it’s only now in Reload that we actually get to see romantic feelings towards the male protag (before Fuuka walks in and makes me lose my mind).

So my au proposal is new game plus reveals Minato is actually stuck in a time loop, reliving the events of the game all the way back from when he first stepped foot off that monorail. The twist this time though is that instead of Pharos it’s Ryoji that visits Minato during the Dark Hour with the added option to spend time with him during the DH rather than go to Tartarus or spend time with your dorm mates (outside of scripted visits). Minato and Ryoji both remember everything that happened the time around of course, so there would probably be the option to save characters like Shinjiro, Chidori and Mitsuru’s dad idk yet.

So the au would focus more on the relationship between Minato and Ryoji, the best part being you’d actually have the option and chance to romance him (Atlus you fucking cowards). There would also be a proper social link for Ryoji again, his arcana still being Death rather than Fortune like in Portable. Maybe when using Thanatos instead of calling out the persons name he calls for Ryoji (maybe) with a split second of him appearing in his human form before becoming his persona and the stronger the social link the stronger the persona becomes, whether you choose the romance or friendship route he gets stronger in different ways?

Anyway, I might workshop it in the same fashion as the Specter Carlo au where it’s an entire game rewrite to fit the idea. I have no idea what I’d even call this au, Persona Timeloop au? Idk.
