I became silly today :3
Stellar belongs to @emthimofnight . Comet is not a fankid. But I thought it would be silly if these two star themed hedgehogs met. (Comet is a part of my StarsAligned Sonic movie AU (my interpretation of @scribble0rat 's sonic movie fic : on Wattpad!!)
I had the urge to draw her last night ,, but I mainly only draw at school. So- had to wait a couple of hours before I could actually draw her (she was so fun to draw actually,, rlly love her quills<3)
(<- just learned Comet's lore) : that's why Stellar is shocked
Reminder:
my interpretation of StarsInTheSky!
↑ for me to make some of the snippets of lore make sense & stuff
Comet's lore is that, in short he's the last of his tribe; Solful月* (and his tribe's language: 月S! Just thought I'd add that bit of info. Cuz I like to think that they did have their own lingo, but then once becoming allies with the Echidnas (and then Owls), their language has developed to be like the others).
Some massive, a second war broke out and the gravity force of the remaining moons, all colliding for a big explosion; resulting in Comet's *weird burn mark! — and the death of his younger brother (who I'll name Meteor).
Comet doesn't remember it though, has he developed Dissociative Amnesia because of it. His forms are: Generalized DA(memory loss affecting everything within a longer period; months to years) & Systematized DA(memory loss that affects everything under a particular topic or category. It can also apply to a specific person or multiple people; like family members).
*月 -> moon in Japanese.
*weird burn mark;
(I decided to have it as a burn mark rather than a battle wound. I think that Comet was very young when it happened, since he's 15 when the Sonic Movie 2 happens. And then he grew up alone on the sole remainder Moon)

Happy Birthday Scottish actress Georgie Glen.
Georgie was born in Helensburgh on April 20th 1956 and as a child had little interest in appearing in school plays. She studied graphic design at Glasgow School of Art and moved to London in her mid-twenties to design book covers for the Thames and Hudson publishing house.
Looking for other interests she joined Floodlight Council, an organization set up to bring out adult’s artistic skills and then became part of the Questors Theatre Company in Ealing, West London. Here she met the late Alan Rickman - who, like Georgie, had a background in design before treading the boards - and he encouraged her to follow her acting ambitions. As a result she enrolled at the Bristol Old Vic drama school and on graduating had her first job at the Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich.
Even then she felt, somewhat modestly, that she did not have the looks for a leading lady but ever since her television debut in 1988 she has been a reliable supporting player in virtually every type of show from sketch comedy to period drama, notably in a recurring role as doughty Sergeant Jennifer Nokes in Heartbeat and the liberal, kindly teacher head of History, Audrey in'Waterloo Road - filmed in her native Scotland.
Indeed she may be said to be one of the first ladies of character acting and though her film roles have again always been in support of bigger names she has proved herself to be a scene- stealer par excellence, as one of the more enthusiastic in Calendar girls alongside Helen Mirren and Julie Walters.
As I said earlier she has been in every type of show, to name a few we have comedy roles in Harry Enfield and Friends, Alas Smith & Jones and Little Britain, drama series and films are two many to mention them all but there are dozens, the pick of them include Taggart, of course, Peak Practice, Doctor Findlay, Mrs Brown, Shakespeare in Love, Silent Witness, and I think a lot of you will maybe “say” oh yes, when I tell you that she was the Judge in The Victim in 2019, an excellent four part series set in Scotland also starring John Hannah and Kelly McDonald, and she was Denise in the brilliant Channel four show Damned!

THRO BACK THURSDAY IS BACK, Y'ALL!
You know what that means! Hazel's fic recs!!
Okay, I heard from some lovelies!
I haven't had time this week to read them (by Tuesday, I was already having A Week!) but am looking forward to lighting a fire, getting cozy, and digging in!
And, of course, I will be reblogging as I go! Because we want to hold up our beautiful writers, artists, and creators in our fandom!
So please check these out, and if you enjoyed them, give them more than a "like", give them some love with a reblog, and a comment or reaction pic or gif.
So here we go:
Let's start off with a self rec @burnwater13 , Thank you, mdear!! (WRITERS SHOW YOUR OWN FIC LOVE!!) Berni is a WONDERFUL fellow Grogu pov writer, and here is one found on Ao3:
The Passenger as told to Ta'lan Bet by Grogu
Next up, an offering by the delightful @tinytinymenace is
The Margay by @ohforficsakelibrary
(This is already on my TBR list! So thanks for the push!!💚)
Here's what she says about it:
It's an ongoing series with Frankie Morales and sniper OFC Audrey Goddard. I devoured the entire thing and am gradually reblogging it (because I can be slow with the comments). I've been trying to be articulate about why I love this series when all I really want to do is smash my keyboard. The characters feel right. Everyone is competent. I find this version of Frankie interesting. There are these phrases scattered throughout that are just chef's kiss. Like describing Frankie laughing: "Offers her his back teeth." So good! And the smut is smoking hot!
Our final submission from the lovely @ghostofaboy is the masterlist of @elvenmother
For throwback Thursday - I really feel like @elvenmother's fics don't get enough love. She has three that I adore and love to go back and read. But they all came out before the Last of Us boom, I think.
Context and Perspective - Marcus Moreno and Supervillian Reader which is really touching.
Art of Crossed Wires - Marcus Pike cute meet filled with misunderstandings.
Shattered - Agent Whiskey angst fest that broke my heart (in a good way).
Thank you for sending in fics!
Finally, in the interest of doing what I tell others to do, give my own fic some love!
My self rec:
Hechizado
JAVI G x AMERICAN WITCH OFC
A little Bewitched stylr hijinx, and much ado about nothing! Kelly's visiting Mallorca with her familiar, who runs off, and Javi finds him. Sparks fly of the amorous kind when her cat is returned to her, but she fears magic is the culprit!

a lot of the stuff around ts right now is putting a bad taste in my mouth but i think it comes down to this:
we as a society seem to have decided that people who make music have to be not just be artists but also impeccable marketing strategists and businesspeople, moral arbiters, allies and activists, the voice of the people, political grassroots organizers, etc. and i think tay does want to meet other people's expectations but this is an unwinnable ask. because one person is not all things to all people, and while there is an intersection of art and culture and history inherently, our connected world through press and digital communications has kind of distilled all of these roles into one job title: global superstar-cum-savior. and that's both unfair to put on someone and also a fatal error for her to try to meet the demands of these roles. idk. does that make sense? i'm annoyed by people who overinflate the purity of her capitalism as a feminist outcome rather than what it is, pink capitalism. i've been steadily disappointed by her choices to work with abusers, contribute to a climate crisis already at a breaking point, affiliation with the intellectual property of racists, merchandising that I find to be WHOLLY excessive and sometimes embarrassingly pointless, sending C&D to independent artists on Etsy who make tributes to her work [technically she totally has a right to protect it, but these are usually people working out of a home studio, if that] and the matt healy thing - there just wasn't a way to undo that for me. but is it really on me for expecting her to meet MY standards for ethical conduct? yeah, it is.
we all know too much about each other now. we have become narcissistic enough to need to see an idealized version of ourselves in our idols. taylor is a bit different because she has basic control over her image but think of the studio system in the 20s - we were never buying Norma Jeane Mortenson or Archie Leach - we bought Marilyn Monroe and Cary Grant. We bought Rock Hudson as the straight hunk of the age, we bought Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly as "pure" and unattainable ingenues when both had passionate affairs just like their male contemporaries [stating this without judgment as I love the work of both actresses and Audrey's personal work for UNICEF]. Entertainment is image and image is entertainment. So buying into Taylor's activism when it was never the point of her image or career, but something she briefly tried on for her brand, is just a confluence of all of these factors and expectations, I think. And these observations are confirmed, I think, by the fact that there is tension over why Taylor is POTY instead of Palestinian freedom activists - because we insist that ONE person fit all roles - cultural influencer AND wartime hero. No one will be both. Maybe the only fair way to handle that is do POTY issues in different categories, IDK.
So while I'm increasingly annoyed with the forced bifurcation of pro- and anti- ts stuff I need to step back and realize that the whole thing is a mess from every angle and it's been and probably will continue to be harmful to her in the future, as well. A lot of actors do their work and in private have their charity focuses like animal rights, refugee aid, etc. Everything with tay is SO heightened and overexposed and public and that burden and privilege has become a monster I don't think even she has control of at this point. and all of this is hilariously contrasted with how personal and private her lyrics often feel, like things you would tell a close confidante.

Jewelry House Histories: Bulgari
Bulgari – or Bvlgari – is synonymous with the glamour and decadence of Rome, the city where the jewelry and watch brand was established in 1884 by the Greek silversmith Sotirio Voulgaris (Bulgari). It soon thrived, thanks to British tourists who were visiting Rome as part of their Grand Tour.
Some telltale signs of Bulgari’s design are the references to imagery, architectural details and silhouettes from ancient Rome. The Bulgari logo is often spelt Bvlgari, in reference to the classical Italian alphabet.
Snapshot of Bulgari Jewelry over the last century
Sotirio Bulgari’s sons, Giorgio and Costantino, joined him in the family business and proposed a new direction away from watches and silverware, and towards high jewelry. The creations of the 1920s reflected French high jewelry traditions – platinum and diamonds were the order of the day, with a focus on Art Deco designs. The following decade saw more geometric diamond motifs, often set together with coloured gemstones. But by the 1940s, the house had established its own style with plenty of yellow gold, geometrically abstract designs and graceful curves.
With the vibrance of the ’60s, Bulgari brought a pop of colour to contemporary jewelry. The focus, for Bulgari, was on the visual impact created by their jewelry, regardless of the value of the gemstones. This focus on unparalleled color and pattern set Bulgari apart from their more conventional contemporaries.
As Rome’s reputation as a glamorous party town rose, so Bulgari bold, trend-setting statement jewelry became sought-after by an international clientele. The early 1970s took the maison to Europe and the US, where the next generation of the Bulgari family made sure that the brand catered to the tastes of modern women. Iconic pieces from the ’70s include the Bvlgari Bvlgari watch, released in 1977 and the Trombino ring.
The ’80s ’90s saw Bulgari launch versatile, modular pieces designed to be worn from morning to night, such as the Parentesi collection, which borrowed a detail (the travertine junctions) from the Eternal City’s pavements for its signature motif.
Throughout its history, unusual materials, such as steel, porcelain, silk and even wood, have elevated Bulgari creations above many of its contemporaries. The house’s bold use of colorful gemstones was much admired – and imitated.
Today, the brand excels at everything from fragrances and luxury hotels to high-end watches. When it comes to the brand’s timepieces, instantly recognizable, iconic designs meet outstanding mechanical workings. The maison has partnered with Girard-Perregaux, one of the finest Swiss watchmaking manufacturers, for its technical work. It also acquired the Swiss watch companies, Daniel Roth and Gerald Genta, among others, to help it produce luxury watches with quality elements and mechanisms.
A Hollywood Hit
During the booming decades of the 1950s and 1960s, Rome – and Bulgari – were put firmly on the map by films such as Roman Holiday and La Dolce Vita. During their time in Rome, stars such as Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Ingrid Bergman and Grace Kelly discovered the Bulgari shop in Via Condotti and became ardent fans of the maison. Bulgari jewels have since been spotted in Hollywood films, such as Casino with Sharon Stone and Mission Impossible starring Tom Cruise. Spectacular pieces have been trotted down red carpets at the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes and film festivals from Cannes to Venice.
Elizabeth Taylor glitters in Bulgari
The actress Elizabeth Taylor glittered in Bulgari jewels – it was one of her favourite maisons. The sumptuous Bulgari pieces perfectly matched her aesthetic and were a prominent part of her vast jewelry collection. She visited the Condotti store often, especially while filming Cleopatra in Rome. Many of the pieces were gifted to her by her husband, Richard Burton. Taylor’s jewelry collection went under the hammer in 2011, setting records for the most valuable sale of jewelry in auction history. Bulgari bought back nine pieces, which have become part of the Bulgari Heritage Collection.
Key Designs
Bulgari “Serpenti”
In ancient Rome, the coiled serpent symbolized wisdom and immortality. Bulgari has employed the snake motif throughout its history, using it in their lavish, polished yellow gold snake wrist watches, first designed in the 1940s, its diamond-encrusted head covering the dial of the timepiece. This design has since undergone multiple incarnations in various metals, from gold to steel, and can now be wrapped around the wrist several times.

At the moment she is filming the latest episodes of Call Midwife.
