IMPORTANT HEADCANONS TO CONSIDER
CAN THEY USE CHOPSTICKS: No, he never had tried nor does he want to learn. He finds  those that can use chopsticks interesting but lacks any want or need to learn himself.
WHAT DO THEY DO WHEN THEY CAN’T SLEEP: It depends either on the timeline or just in general. In the second salemer time, he usually spent his time in his room thinking about his life or speaking to the Obscurus that manifested as a small black orb that whispers to him affections of love and friendship.
During the time at the circus and on the run, when he is done feeding the baby bird or knowing Nagini is asleep, he counted the stars, looking over his adoption paper, trying to figure out who he is, who his family is, and the hope that he will get an answer why he was abandoned.
When he was at Numengard, Aurelius wrote on the walls connections to his family, wrote out on parchment, or anything that is going on in his head that kept him awake. He began descending into madness and began writing out what he could for his sanity’s sake.
And while at his father, Aberforth’s, inn does he spend some of his time talking to his pheonix, reading books of spells from Hogwarts to learn more magic, keeping the goats company and sometimes sneaking them a midnight snack. Whenever he is healthier and not sick, he also cleans the dishes best he can.
WHAT WOULD THEY IMPULSE BUY AT THE GROCERY STORE: Bring on the sweets. He loves them, anything sweet like candy or pastries. He had been denied them most of his life, and now he enjoys them.
WHAT ORDER DO THEY WASH THINGS IN THE SHOWER: Hair, face, body, basically going down.
WHAT’S THEIR COFFEE ORDER: Lightly iced or hot depending on the weather, usually a caramel mocha latte, with an extra shot or two of espresso to wake him up or give him some energy for the day. Preferably large sized.
WHAT SORT OF APPS WOULD THEY HAVE ON THEIR SMARTPHONE: When he is able to figure out how to smart phone, he has insta, some game apps to pass the time ( think neko at.sume and poke.mon go), and memos and plant/tree identification
HOW DO THEY ACT AROUND CHILDREN: He is a big softy around children. He can be the iciest guy that would murder for less, but around children, Aurie is a sweetie that likes spending time with them. Usually he is reminded of his little sister Modesty who he loved dearly and loves kids and is very careful and gentle around them, and gods help anyone that hurts children, especially in his presence.
WHAT WOULD THEY WATCH ON TV WHEN THEY’RE BORED AND NOTHING THEY REALLY LIKE IS ON: Usually he would have TV on for some background noise. If he must and nothing is on that he likes, he’ll switch to a cooking channel, or something that is entertainment. He prefers radio that are tuned to the Wizarding World more than anything to keep up with what is happening. Or reading the New York Ghost or Daily Prophet depending on where he is and what newspaper there is.

A couple of my FNV ocs as cats bc I can’t draw people. I didn’t draw all of them bc I’m lazy
Nero; he’s a Legion breeder but later ended up in Zion and was taken in by Joshua. Maybe one day I’ll draw his 9 kids. He has 2 kids with Vulpes, 1 with Joshua, 5 with Lanius and an adopted Dead Horse kid.
Varius Valentine; Legion Courier. He goes by Valentine when being stealth. His father is Aurelius Pheonix.
Shilo; NCR scout and also Nero’s oldest daughter. She got saved/kidnapped by NCR as a child and joined the army when she could. She doesn’t realize she’s Legion-born.
Hades; Kings’ member/hydra addict. He’s got a lot of issues, but gets through them with the help of his best friend Tesla.
Theo; Lobotomite, former Legion. Vulpes’* twin who got exiled and then stolen by the Think Tank. He retained some humanity and is basically a pet to the Think Tank. Dala named him Theo bc Theodore = Teddy, you know how it goes. The blue eye isn’t his. Borus thought he’d look better with heterochromia.
*In our rp verse Vulpes is albino, based on his card design. We had the thought that the black haired ver was a different Vulpes, so Theo was Vulpes Princeps.

Who is Credence Barebone really...
I’m sure if you have seen Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald you have some questions about THAT ending!!!
Once I had time to digest and pick my damn mouth up off the floor I came up with a theory. Spoilers under the cut etc
The theory is that Credence Barebone/Aurelius Dumbledore is not actually related to Dumbledore but has instead the Obscurus belonging to Ariana Dumbledore as his ‘dark twin’.
It’s a parasitical force that “dies when the wizard or witch dies” usually by the age of ten. Except we saw in the first movie that Newt managed to trap one within a magical bubble.
Tumblr media
So it is, therefore, possible to keep one alive. Newt said in the first film that the Obscurus was harmless without its ‘host’.
It is not too much of a stretch that if Ariana’s Obscurus somehow survived that it could become attached to another host. In this case, Credence Barebone as it is a parasite.
Where, when and how this happened I have no answers for but we know that Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald were close *wink wink* when they were younger and that its likely Ariana and Gellert would have met.
Thus he would have known that she was an Obscurial and could have taken measure to trap her Obscurus somehow because he’s Gellert Grindelwald and why wouldn’t he?
“You have suffered the most heinous of betrayals, most purposely bestowed upon you by your own blood. Your own flesh and blood and just as he has celebrated your torment, your brother seeks to destroy you.”
Was Gellert talking to Credence/Aurelius or was he talking to the Obscurus?
If you accept this theory it explains why a phoenix seems to recognize Credence as a Dumbledore. He has the magic of a Dumbledore within him.
Also do not pass up the symbolism here. Pheonix’s are reborn from fire...so is it then hinting Credence is Ariana reborn?
Tumblr media
Ariana also lived a few years longer than usual (age 14) for an Obscurial because she had exceptionally powerful latent magic (she’s a Dumbledore after all). Which would explain the sheer strength of Credence’s Obscurus.
With a wand in his hand, it seems like no-one could beat him.
Things we know about Credence.
He is not Corvus Lestrange.
He has an Obscurus that he can control.
He has lived much longer than usual with an Obscurus.
He has been called a squib.
Gellert Grindelwald has an interest in him and said he “did it all for you” at the end of the second movie.
A phoenix chick came to him.
Why it’s always been about Credence.
Albus and Gellert can’t go face to face in a duel due to their blood pact but Grindelwald does at least think there’s a good chance Dumbledore can beat him (from history we know he does in 1946). So he needs a weapon stronger than Albus and that weapon is Credence.
How it’s going to end.
We are literally told in the movie by Dumbledore of a possible ‘cure’ that if Credence found the love of his parents so he was no longer isolated and alone (had he been a Lestrange) it could have brought his magic under control.
“If Credence has a real brother or sister out there who can take its place, he might yet be saved.”
If the Obscurus is Ariana then the LOVE of Dumbledore her brother will bring her under control.
Things I still do not know.
Who the heck Credences parents actually were.
If he’s got magical heritage or was a plain old muggle.

Thoughts on The Crimes of Grinderwald ( Spoilers ahead)
The Good
The one thing I did appreciate in this movie ( apart from Jude Law as Dumbledore he was great actually the cast minus Depp i did like. Depp in my opinion just does not make a good Grinderwald) was their effort to show how Grinderwald and Supremacists like him might entice others. Voldemort wasn't shown recruiting anyone who didn't already share his views in the books. But Grinderwald is at a stage where he wants to be able to sway the common Witch/Wizard to his side and incorporate his ideology. So he does things like incite a crowd causing a auror to kill after a perceived attack ( in self defense) and then citing it as a example that the other side are the clear villains here.
Or saying things like he doesn't consider muggles to be inferior just different and offers others a chance to change the future between magic folk and muggles in public. But then in private refers to them as beasts of burden before ordering the murder of a muggle baby.
Or using fear of a dangerous and uncertain future to push the general public to pick a extreme option to prevent a more terrible outcome.
Its not done perfectly and there are alot of flaws. But the attempt to illustrate how Grinderwald and supremacists like him minipulate is something I appreciate.
The bad
Tying up plot threads from the last movie: Namely Credence's death and Jacob having his memory back. I would have liked a better explanation. I think its possible that I might get one in the next movie for at least Credence but even if that is true it still made a sloppy transition from the end of the last movie because Credence's unfair life and death was a pretty big deal in the last movie.
The blood pact: Its never explicitly said that Dumbledore is gay or likes Grinderwald. But I could have accepted it due to the mirror scene, the closer than brothers line and Dumbledore constantly claiming he couldn't fight Grinderwald but offering no explanation as to why. It seemed to me that it was strongly implying he had still had feelings and therefore couldn't face Grinderwald. Despite them not explicitly saying this. But then they went and ruined it by putting in the blood pact. I mean you still have a couple scenes implying things but it kinda makes things feel less compelling. It would have been a much stronger arc if you saw Dumbledore muster the conviction to face Grinderwald despite having feelings. More than some plot convenience blood pact which prevented the confrontation. That being said they could have easily had a moment where there past relationship was brought up despite the dumbass blood pact. Like there is 0 reason to dance around the subject. Still there are sequels so maybe it will be brought up in those so I wont be too harsh now.
Nagini: With all the scandal involving the whole thing about Nagini being secretly a woman I felt that Rowling had pushed it for a purpose. It didn't really improve the original hp story in any way but I wondered if it maybe added to this one. If it had anything to add to this series it wasn't added in this installment. Nagini had a bit part and her cursed to a snake form was something that was not really important at all. Maybe it will for the next movie but from what was revealed in this one I don't really see how.
The only one strong enough to stop Grinderwald/Dumbledore:  The ministry pushes Dumbledore to kill Grinderwald insisting he is the only one strong enough to. And admittedly Dumbledore is strong the Ministry should want him on board. But they act as tho Dumbledore is their only chance. This push to make this a one on one fight makes no sense. As far as I know unlike Voldemort Grinderwald was powerful but had nothing that made him effectively immortal. And the same could be said for Dumbledore. Dumbledore was a strong force against Voldemort not because of his magical strength but because his tactics made Voldemort Falter and Dumbledore could outwit him. And Harry was a strong Force because he made this unkillable thing disappear as a baby. Grinderwald might see Dumbledore as a powerful foe but if he has him under a blood pact then why is he so keen on killing him? Shouldn't he be more interested in world domination? Shouldn't that be what this story is focused on? But no what ties all the different sides together is their interest in Credence. And Grinderwald is interested in him because he can defeat Dumbledore. Even more importantly Dumbledore got the Order of Merlin for defeating Grinderwald so ya he was strong but would he really have that much of a reputation before he did? In terms of fighting skill I mean. His work in alchemy is another story.  Also tied to this is the ministry pushing Newt to go after Credence and join the Ministry. Like Dumbledore is one thing but why are you so interested in recruiting a magical biologist to be a auror. Its like if you were asked to pick the ideal person for a manhunt in New York and your choice was Jane Goodall.
Queenie: This really stood out to me because I really liked her character in the first movie. So in this movie she enchants Jacob to marry her. This isn't a unappealing idea to him infact it is a kinda ideal end goal for him but there are good reasons why he's afraid to pursue this and they are all legitimate reasons to say no. He has every right no say no even if he has feelings for her and likes the idea of being married to her. Its his choice and she was going to steal that from him. She probably would have if Newt hadn't intervented. And if that was shown to develop her character and make her undergo an arc and be held responsible for her actions I would have accepted that. But its not. Jacob doesn't really get mad at her or point out how fucked up it was she did that. Newt never tells Jacob that it was when he is pining for her after. Its never mentioned that this is a thing that might need to be discussed when he sees her again. In fact the only issue to arise from this is Queenie wants to take a risk and get married and Jacob thinks its too risky and Queenie sees it as cowardly. This could be a interesting arguement in its own right but this argument completely glosses over the you just mind controlled me plot point.
And then to make things worse she then joins Grinderwald because....? Like ya he offers her the chance to marry Jacob by changing the rules about this kinda thing. But even if you discount the whole thing about her reading minds and possibly seeing the baby incident, she really believed him that fast? She is a little eccentric but she's not stupid. But lets say she was desperate and believed him. She could clearly see and tell that this idea of joining Grinderwald was turning him off and pushing him away from her. So she chooses to join Grinderwald to be closer to Jacob when by joining Grinderwald will only push them apart based on his reactions to him. Or maybe she will just enchant him again cuz clearly no one sees it as a huge deal.
Im sorry I harp on this a bit but when it comes to men being minipulated into sex or romance or relationships via magical means( love potions or enchantments) Rowling treats the thing as casual. Not seriously fucked up. Even for Merlope from what I remember the problem was more that the dad left she became distraught and died and her actions led to Voldemort being a thing. How fucked up her actions were are kinda glossed over. Same with Romilda Vane trying to drug Harry. Or Mrs Weasely casually mentioning she used love potions in school as if it was this perfectly acceptable thing.
Aurelius Dumbledore: Why just why? And then they added that shit about Dumbledore's family being tied to Pheonixes. Not every interesting thing about a character needs a special unique power or birthright. It would have been fine if Dumbledore just befriended Fawkes and Fawkes followed him because they got along well. Like no special prophecy needed. It felt like Rowling just needed a good twist as to who Credence was because he was actively searching for his family to find out more about himself. So he had to be related to someone very important. But why go with that at all? The most unique thing about Credence was that he was a obscurus. That's not a genetic thing. Finding out who your family is wouldn't help with that. Wouldn't it make more sense if he sought out someone who did know about Obsuruses ? Like say Newt? In fact that would also get Newt involved without the whole Ministry pushing a magical biologist to become an auror subplot. He could be trying to keep Credence safe while the ministry wants to lock him up because of Grinderwald's interest in him. Grinderwald is interested in the power he posesses and not just because its a good way to kill Dumbledore but in general, and Yusuf wants him dead because he thinks Credence is Corvus. And Newt just wants to help him because he thinks Credence should be able to be free. And eventually the problem is solved because Love and familiarity was apparently the way to handle the Obscurus and Credence has finally met someone who gives two shits about him. Newt.
Instead you get Dumbledores Secret brother and Credence being obsessed about his heritage because he's a orphan of course he is.  Not that orphans would by default have interest in who their birth parents were, but it just feels like the stereotypical plot for a orphan when you could have done something else that could be ( in my opinion) more interesting.

Movie Review Monday: Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald
Overall rating: 7/10 firebreathing dragons
*SUPER DETAILED SPOILERS AHEAD IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN THE MOVIE AND WANT A PURE UNBIASED EXPERIENCE DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER THAN THIS OR YOU WILL BE TAINTED AND YOU CAN NEVER GO BACK*
This weekend I went to see the new Fantastic Beasts movie, Crimes of Grindelwald, with some friends (yes surprisingly I have those) and honestly, I left the theatre slightly disappointed.
The movie was good. Very good. But it wasn’t... great, It didn’t hit that level of satisfaction that I have come to expect from the magical pieces of cinema JK Rowling has given us thus far. It felt like JK tried to cram way too much into it. Instead of one main plotline with spiderwebs of details, it felt as if there were three plots fighting for dominance, tangled together throughout the movie with various other details and storylines weaving in and out like a braid done by a toddler on a sugar rush.
Almost every popular item or theme from the HP universe was crammed into the 2 hours and 14-minute movie, but not every item served the purpose we have come to know it for.
For example, in the beginning scenes, we see thestrals. Yes, we see them. right off the bat. Anyone who had popped into the theatre on a whim without seeing the HP movies would think they were just some sort of magical horses and entirely miss their purpose. But that’s not a super big deal, they aren’t of any great important in this film. The mirror of erised, on the other hand, rubbed me the wrong way. Young Albus Dumbledore, a teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, has a scene where he stands in front of the mirror and dramatically yanks down the blue drape covering the well-known mirror of desire. The whole point of the mirror is to show your heart's “deepest and most desperate desire” (you can quote me on that) but in this scene, it acts more like a pensive than anything else. We watch a young Dumbledore and Grindelwald make a blood pact, which is captured in a silver ornament of some kind, which we later see Grindelwald possesses. But what does that mean? Dumbledore’s deepest and most desperate desire is his blood oath with Grindelwald? Is it Grindelwald, his inexplicit lover? Is it regret over making the blood oath in the first place? The writers could have easily used a pensive for a clearer purpose and more accurate function. And that, my friends, is the only time we see the mirror in the entire movie. *sigh*
On the topic of Grindelwald and good old Albus, guess who still hasn’t canonically had a gay relationship in the HPU? You guessed it, Dumbledore. They made a very strong allusion to the two dudebros being “closer than brothers” (said by young Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore himself) but that was the farthest they got. JK said Dumbledore was gay. I believe her. But all she’s got on the topic is faith, trust, and a suspicious lack of pixie dust. It is never canonically said. Ever. JK you gotta such it up and bring it to life. If they were lovers, or even if the affection only flowed one way, then show us that. Representation.
Surprise, surprise, Credence is alive! Never saw that one coming. How convenient to the plotline. But no matter, surely we will expand upon his character and offer him much room for development! Cue the buzzer sound. Wrong! The poor obscurial’s entire plotline can be summarized in two questions:
Who am I and where did I come from?
The entire movie, all Credence does is befriend Nagini (Yes. That Nagini, except she’s a person for now) and try to find out where he came from and who he is. Spoiler alert: He’s a Dumbledore.
Or, at least that’s what Grindelwald tells him after he joins the dark side, along with Queenie, and gains a new Pheonix friend just to prove it.
Hold up. Credence? A Dumbledore?Apparently so. The name Grindelwald bequeaths him at the end of the film is a grand ‘ol Aurelius Dumbledore, and pleasantly informs the young wizard that his brother is trying to kill him. Hmmmm... yeah? Okay, I guess? Doesn’t make any sense but alright I’ll roll with it for now even though IT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE. As far as we knew in the HP books, Dumbledore only had two siblings- Aberforth and Ariana. I won’t go into the whole things but if you wanna read more here ya go: https://ew.com/movies/2018/11/17/fantastic-beasts-credence-dumbledore/
Positives! Well, the movie was beautiful. Absolutely stunning in the visual effects department. I give it a 10/10 in that area.
Also, THE BEASTS! Gorgeous, and so loveable. I loved every single one they had in there, including the... *drumroll*... BABY NIFFLERS!!! Yes! They’re just as cute as they sound! In fact, I almost died from cuteness overload when they came on the screen. Of course our pal the friendly sniffler niffler was still there, as well as picket, Newt’s constant companion. Every single beast in this movie was gorgeously designed and had a personality all it’s own. I adored the creatures and would watch it again just for them.
Eddie Redmayne is the perfect Newt. He plays the character wonderfully and there is nothing I can critique him on. He’s bashful, shy, a bit awkward, absolutely adorable, and just all around perfect for the role. It is rare that my favorite character of the movie is the main character but Newt easily got that title for the second time running.
Honestly, there is so much to be said about this movie I can’t fit it into one post, so I’ll cut it off here. Overall, it was a good movie. I am glad I went to see it, even if it felt... off. It was beautifully designed and brought to life, the magic was there, I’m just not sure how it’s going to go from here. Solid 7/10.
Favorite line: “Newt, You never met a monster you couldn’t love.”
~
If anyone wants to discuss anything about the movie, whether you agree or disagree with my viewpoints, message me! I’d love to hear your thoughts on it! Hope y’all have a fantastic Monday :)
Later nerds!

Infinite Caps
After your restore law in Primm (either with NCR or With the sheriff) go back to the casino and talk to the raiders who show up (however you please). Then leave Primm and return 3 in-game days later and buy chips and the cash them in. You get the caps and keep the chips and you can trade in the chips however much you want.
Unlimited Caps In Lonesome Road
There are many commissaries in lonesome road, they recycle themselves when they get below 100 caps, back to a full bank of 6,000. You can sell everything you want until you empty it, then close, reopen, repeat until you have a million plus caps like I did. They look good next to the 37 gold bars.
Easy Caps
If you go to the strip and go into Tops you can or even in freeside you can gamble in blackjack. Buy 200 chips and go to a table. Save. Then while you are playing bet max. And every time you win stop playing and save again. Every time you lose all you have to do is load. But make sure you save before you play.

Go to Vault 11 find the overseer’s password for his/ her terminal fight all the robots in the basement and find another terminal in a small room and click on the last entry on the terminal as much as you need to get to level 30 (probably 5 seconds).
Free Plasma Weapons
Go to New Vegas, then go to the Silver Rush (there is a big sign that says “Silver Rush”) There is a bathroom in the back of the shop. Go through the unlocked door and then go and get a gun off of the table. Take it to the bathroom and then put it in your inventory. You will not get caught and you can get all the guns you want.
Scared Deathclaw
If loads of deathclaws are chasing you run into water deathclaws are afraid of water and won’t follow.
Truly Unlimited Experience
I have uncovered the ultimate tip in fallout, new vegas. Down in the south east corner of your map, (Accessed by pip boy) there is a village called cottonwood cove. In cottonwood cove there is a building with a fence on one side of it. (Possibly containing slaves if not yet freed. ) go around to the side opposite if the cage to the side that has stairs leading up the side. Quests and Recruitment
How does the courier recruit your oc? Write a short description where your oc is found and if there are any requirements to recruit them as a companion.
You receive the quest “King on His Own” from Pacer after G.I Blues quest is done in the Kings’ favour. He speaks about a member of the Kings that had to be kicked out after “going psycho” from drug withdrawal. He says that this member was really impressive in a fight and he’d like to see him come back to them. Problem is, it’s impossible to get him to go sober, so he asks the Courier if they could do anything.
You can find Hades either in a vagrant camp (usually the one near the Strip) or the Atomic Wrangler. At first he’s very depressed and generally lethargic. Having high reputation with the Kings allows you to hire him as a companion, but first he asks you to track down 5 bottles of Hydra and some whiskey for his “happy time cocktail”. Upon doing this he’ll take this “cocktail” and suddenly become more upbeat and flirtious (if the courier is male). If the courier is female he’ll seem reluctant to join you, but does after a 25 Speech check.
Bringing him back to Pacer leads to Pacer being disappointed in Hades, but he requests that you keep Hades around for a bit longer to see if you can help. Agreeing to this completes the quest and hires Hades as a proper companion with his quirk.
Personal quests are an important part of developing our companions. What is your oc’s personal quest(s), and what are the different ways the courier can complete them?
After travelling for some time, there’s a random chance you’ll witness Hades going through withdrawal. He’ll become very depressed and easily angered, fighting anything that comes within his perspective. Talking to him will give you the option of giving him Fixer which prompts him to open up more about himself.
He reveals he was born in a Vault set underneath an Arts Theatre. The musical scripts found in it is where his tribe gets their names from; he’s named after Hadestown: The Musical. He left his tribe as a young adult to seek adventure but was captured and sold into slavery.
He refuses to go into anymore detail. Passing a 50 Speech Check he’ll reveal that he was sold to an older women that lived in this fancy condo for rich people. He’ll shudder at the memory then end dialogue.
This prompts the beginning of his personal quest, “Why We Build the Wall”.
After completing three quests for the NCR, Hades will mention his distain for the NCR. Through dialogue it’s revealed he was a soldier for them but deserted during the Bitter Springs Massacre. Talking to Captain Gilles with Hades in the party will prompt a conversation between the two. Gilles is disappointed, but not surprise that Hades deserted them while Hades is bitter and disgusted that they’re still here. You can resolve the conversation peacefully with a Speech check of 30.
After becoming Liked by the Legion this prompts a conversation with Hades. He is neutral towards them, saying their slavery is horrifying but at least they protect their citizens. He says he’d rather join an honest evil than a dishonest good. You can then ask him about his time as a slave. Reluctantly he reveals that his owner would beat and assault him whenever something upset her. He’s biased against women because of this (something he apologizes for if the courier is female). He is gleeful as he reveals that he escaped after she had a heartattack at a party, but quickly becomes subdued again as he’s been wandering every since.
The last condition needed is to complete the quest “High Times” with Hades in the party. Upon completion he opens dialogue mentioning he drinks and uses drugs to forget his past. He says his companion, Tesla, is a complete amnesiac due to her excessive drug use and he’s kind of been hoping to have that happen to him too. But everytime he has a withdrawal, all those feelings he’s been bottling up just come out and start the cycle over again.
Through dialogue you get two choices to help him.
The “Warrior” end, has him continue to use drugs now adding in Buffout to help control his withdrawals. He becomes tougher and buries the past completely.
The “Retiree” end has him use drugs at a half dose, using more Fixer and visiting the Followers. He regains more skills and unlocks his Shack where he gives you supplies like ammo and different crafting scrap.
Ending Slides
Another important part of companions is their ending slides. How do their endings change based on how their quests are completed and how the courier decides to handle the world around them? Below is a short template listing the different main story outcomes. Feel free to change whatever you need to fit your OC’s story.
If their personal quest is never completed…
Hades, ever drifting between highs and lows, remained a vagrant to the very end. Haunted by his past, body deteriorating from alcoholism, he took his life outside of the Strip’s Gates: a symbol of how the Mojave can chew one up and spit them out.
If the Courier sides with Legion and Hades quest is completed with the Warrior Ending
As the Legion marched into Freeside they rounded up the drug addicts and vagrants. Most were executed on sight, some, like Hades, showed a battle prowess that impressed Caeser. Hades was cast into the Arena and after many battles, was finally slain. His body was burned in a sign of respect.
If the Courier sides with Legion and Hades quest is completed with the Retiree Ending
Hidden away in his shack, Hades escaped Legion sight for a long time. Upon finding the now sober Hades, they captured him and sold him to Aurelius of Pheonix (or Lucius if Aurelius is dead) as a repairs specialist. Though once again a slave, Hades accepted his fate and eventually passed of natural causes.
If the Courier sides with NCR and Hades quest is completed with the Warrior Ending
With the NCR taking over New Vegas, it wasn’t long before deserters were brought to justice. Hades refused arrest and fought until the very end, taking out many NCR soldiers in his wake. He eventually went down under a hail of bullets, screaming his bitterness to the skies.
If the Courier sides with NCR and Hades quest is completed with the Retiree Ending
With the NCR taking over New Vegas, it wasn’t long before deserters were brought to justice. Hades was brought before a trial and accepted his imprisonment. He lived out the rest of his days working in the mines, eventually dying in a mineshaft collapse, surrounded by other Kings.
If the Courier sides with House and Hades quest is completed with Any Ending
Hades, like many vagrants in Freeside, was either ignored by Mr House or shot down when his robots came strolling into the town. Being a friend of the Courier, he was left alone by other factions in Freeside; leading to a lonely, if peaceful, life.
If the Courier makes New Vegas independent and Hades quest is completed with Any Ending
Along with the other Kings in Freeside, Hades ruled and enjoyed a free life. In the chaos he often relapsed into using more dangerous drugs and whored himself out without care. Eventually, he passed after a bad, violent trip on pyscho which lead to him being killed in self defense.
