This trend of PC culture limits us as artists. Many may hire ''senstivity readers' to make sure that their work is not offensive...and people still get offended by it. There is a difference between writing hate and slander and writing something that just isn't PC.

Even if it was never your intention to offend, you could still get crucified.

In my opinion, anything you put out into the universe can be deemed offensive, so as long as you know that your intentions are not to be hateful, you should have free range when it comes to art.

All art is meant to be a reflection of the state of the world, and things currently are not pretty.

Is your current wip PC? How important is it to you that your work doesn't offend anyone?

Would you back down if any angry mob came after your novel?

Um dia na escola fiquei com tanto medo que me escondi dentro de um brinquedo e lá fiquei até dormir, quando me acharam eu ainda dormia. Quando acordei perguntei porque demoraram tanto a me achar? No outro dia, na escola, todos foram embora e eu foi a unica a ficar esperando alguém me buscar, levou horas até aparecer alguem e eu perfuntei: Porque demoraram tanto? Uma vez estava de noite e eu vi sair do escuro no meio do quintal um ser assustador que rondava o poço que havia no quintal. Eu olhava pelo buraco da madeira do barraco onde morava. Meus pensamentos não paravam, só aumentava, minhas idéias cresciam com as histórias que ouvia dos adultos ao meu redor.
