Reading a detailed plot synopsis or the full wiki page#for it and then deciding 'yeah I wouldnt mind sitting through seeing the events I just read about happen in more detail' lol#OR aesthetics. since I do often watch things JUST for the set/costume design. But it's more like.. I would play it for my own#very niche specific reasons that I think are different from what MOST people might want to play it for. My hot take is that you actually can't separate the art from the artist, but it's also actually okay to engage with and even enjoy art made by people who did bad things.

I had a very interesting cosmic intervention happen to me just this yesterday: I had the day off, and to say little else, I had completely wasted it. I floated amongst my apartment like a poltergeist with no intentions of working on anything - I didn't even contain the wherewithal to crack open a book. Anyways, I smoked a couple of one hitters and decided that I should listen to some of the music that my deceased friend, Frank, had produced for me back in 2018. We had recorded a freak folk album together, and I suppose I was feeling nostalgic. I threw my headphones on and a scarf around my throat and ventured into the arctic for a walk around the neighborhood. I came home feeling rejuvenated, as I have for the most part retired from making that kind of music ever since Frank passed away. I then picked up my guitar and played for a while.
All of that to say this: yesterday was Frank's birthday. Until checking instagram this morning, I had no idea ... What a powerful surge of love and inspiration that had flowed through me from beyond the grave! The timing of it all was simply otherworldly. I love you Frank 💜 💜 💜 Keep strumming those strings up there with the angels, my friend. And next year, I'll try and remember your birthday without you having to remind me ;PP
