Tom Hiddleston has been spotted for the first time since he became a father.

The Eton and Cambridge-educated actor, 42, welcomed a baby with Fresh Meat star Zawe Ashton last October.

He and Ashton, 38, have yet to disclose the name or sex of their child.

The couple first met in 2019 when they played husband and wife in a revival of Harold Pinter’s Betrayal.

Tom was seen pushing a pram as he walked his dog in North London, cutting a casual figure in a blue hoody and shorts.

He also wore a blue cap, looking pensive as he listened to music on his stroll and later greeted a fan on a high street.

It comes after a source told US Weekly in October: 'Tom and Zawe are loving being new parents and are filled with joy.'

The insider also noted they are 'having the struggles of new parents and aren't sleeping much but are thrilled.'

DailyMail.com reached out to the couple's representatives for comment at the time.  

In June, Tom confirmed he was set to wed the beauty but kept tight lipped about the romance, simply telling the  LA Times: 'I'm very happy' and nothing more.

Tom and Zawe set tongues wagging about a possible engagement when they appeared at the BAFTAs last year, after which she was pictured wearing a huge diamond sparkler on her ring finger in a photo shared by host AJ Odudu.

The couple were reportedly congratulated by industry friends at the ceremony - after Zawe hid her hand as she took to the red carpet in a pink cape dress.

The Fresh Meat star concealed her stunning diamond-encrusted ring from photographers on the red carpet, draping her stunning flowing pink gown over her hand.

Tom, meanwhile, looked handsome in a black blazer and trousers, as he posed hand-in-hand with Zawe.

Later in the ballroom of London's Grosvenor Hotel the couple caught up with TV personality AJ who snapped a picture, which showed the diamond ring.

Zawe and Tom have worked hard over the years to kept their relationship out of the spotlight.

The couple confirmed their romance during a PDA-filled holiday at the beach in Ibiza in September 2021 before making their red carpet debut together at the Tony Awards in New York City.

Also in 2021, it was revealed the pair had moved in together after months of romance rumors, and they are now said to be living together in Atlanta, Georgia.

Sources close to the duo said The Night Manager star, and the actress are 'very well suited and enjoy the quieter side of life'.

An insider told The Sun : 'Tom and Zawe have stayed quiet about their relationship but she has spent the last few weeks with him in the US.

'They are very well suited and enjoy the quieter side of life away from the glitz and glamour of the showbiz world.'

Summary: Yourself and Tom recently had a baby together and you've had the perfect first Christmas as a family. Topping off the day by watching the snowfall outside your apartment window.

Tom comes to a sudden halt in the doorway of the living room as the sight before him warms his heart. He stands there with a soft smile as he sees you, his wife, standing by the large apartment window with your newborn in your arms. To top off this scene are the first signs of snowfall right outside, and the twinkling of the Christmas lights from the tree shining on both of your faces, while you show your newborn the snow. It's the perfect way to end Christmas Day on, your baby's first Christmas, your first Christmas as a family.

After a moment of Tom just watching he walked up behind you, smiling at you both as you see his reflection now in the window, you smile back just as he comes up behind you and wraps his arms around your waist. He kisses the side of your neck and holds you and the baby closer as the three of your watch the snow falling. Gently he rocks you both as he keeps you both close and he begins to hum a Christmas song too. As he rocks you both gently you lean back into his chest and glance down at your little one who's looking at the snow in awh as well as making adorable noises too. The adorable noises make you and Tom chuckle, his humming wavering at the same time, before completely stopping as he sighs in contentment simultaneously the rocking stops also.

The day couldn't have gone any better than it had nor could the love between you two be torn apart. This is exactly what you and Tom have always wanted, being newly parents was truly a wonderful gift, you'd both treasure this first Christmas as a family for always.

"Merry Christmas, my dears." Tom says in a gentle loving tone, as he gives you and your baby a slight squeeze in his arms then he kisses the side of your neck again.

"Merry Christmas, Tommy." You say with the same loving tone, as you look over your shoulder at him before you give him a tender kiss on his lips. He doesn't hesitate to return your kiss. The kiss lasts for a few seconds before your little one starts cooing, causing yourself and Tom to chuckle as your lips parted.

I have to say that I don't feel bad seeing these pictures because obviously Tom in the one was allowing somebody to take a picture with them so while I am still struggling with my own fangirl feelings I am so happy to see them together and to see Tom taking care of his baby ❤️❤️ Edit: so I've been informed that the other people in the one photo are Zawe's parents nonetheless it makes me so happy to see Tom having a good time with his family and his baby

On the topic of Tom and Zawe's announcement:

Tom has waited a long time for this moment and I'm very happy that he's finally getting it... I hope that every moment with his family is exactly what he's wanted... And I hope that his child loves The Jungle Book as much as he does...

As any fangirl would be I am a little sad...(more than a little but ya know lol) but if anyone else is feeling like me where they are happy for him but can't help being a little sad or jealous...I want you to think of this...

We hang up on the fact that there is a multiverse in the MCU...

If there's something in a movie or a show that we don't like...we write our own universe...

So if you want to keep reading fanfic or Tom falls in love with you or you want to keep writing it? Go for it! That's your universe.
