From 2 years ago, this resurfaced in my FB memories
I showed my husband and he laughed and said, "And now it's me showing you all the things on the auctions!"

sorry i watched the project strigas affair last night and i'm still thinking about. about the innocent's wife, anxious and upset, saying "I never should have let him out of my sight!!!" about her husband going undercover in possible danger, Napoleon replying, "I know how you feel," her doubtfully going "Oh do you really, Mr. Solo?" (fair), and then anything Napoleon could have said in response being interrupted by Illya, still in his undercover outfit, knocking on the door.
the first thing Illya says is grumpily informing us, the audience, that he's been out - undercover in possible danger - longer than was planned and that he couldn't contact Napoleon about it.
Napoleon makes this face in response
this seems fine and normal

Yesterday was Napoleon II's birthday but I had completely forgotten to draw anything for it, so here's a very late, very rushed birthday drawing for l'aiglon:
(I tried to be experimental with light and colour and it didn't really turn out well, but like I said this was extremely rushed 😭)

An incomplete list of nicknames I’ve given/coined for Napoleonic marshals
Ney: ginger babey, marshal bae, THE babey
He was the original, so all subsequent “babeys” are in one way or another reminded me of him (also one could not be affiliated with English-speaking countries unless he’s a minority in said countries (eg. George Washington Carver))
Lannes: ladder lord
Murat: dummy thicc™️, Jojo, curly god
Moncey: goodest boi
Massena: ravioli lord
Augereau: gangstar
Macdonald: MacMarshal, macbabey (seldom)
Soult: bread man, cookie lord
Bessières: marshal cupcake, cupcake lord
Berthier: administrative cyborg
Kellermann: windmill man
Lefebvre: grandpa
Davout: Savage edge lord
This is as far as I remembered since it’s been YEARS since I was active in the Napoleonic community on tumblr, here’s a cupcake lord for you guys
Also special thanks to my mutual @histoireettralala for reminding me some of the nicknames

Exponents are so cute man..
X³
^look at that little guy being held up in X's arms. Don't you just want to hold him. Isn't it cool how he's so teeny tiny, but he can make X multiply upon itself. Agh DX my beautiful boy, the exponent

Posting every day until the 2023 Napoleon movie
Day 6
I could not resist drawing my baby 😍Nappy II (His uniform is honestly the saddest thing I’ve seen since I saw the trailer for Napoleon2023.Uncle Murat would be disappointed)
If anyone has any suggestions on what I should draw tomorrow, I would love to steal your ideas 😌

I'm mad. My baby is so loved that he has so much clothes that he can't wear them all before he outgrows them. This one got lost in the mix and now he's too chunky. I tried to squeeze him in but his sausage arms got stuck after it barely made it over his giant head. 😭

Rating: Not Cute!
Despite unfortunate similarities, Napoleons are not Bourbon Royalty!
Napoleons are not French Revolutionaries!
Napoleons do not naturally lose their heads! That is not a part of their lifecycle! Don’t chop your Napoleon’s head off just for a better Halloween costume! And if you do chop their head off (you monster) don’t let them ride a horse, since now their vision is compromised!!!
The fuck’s wrong with y’all

(Napoleon's POV)
Hopefully, his son would mean belonging to true monarchy, and thus the end of the war. Creating a legacy to work for.
And most of all, being for someone else the father and guide he could never have. He swore it.
EDIT (July 13th 2023): Here it is on top of my profile, in case I should prove I own this drawing I did.
