Die Donnie have Sensory issues but can’t bring them up to big mama and starves himself occasionally as a result? Or is she so critical he feels even a needed meal will make her comment on him being fat?

so im basing Donnie's eating issues mostly on my own experiences, and specifically my experience with anorexia while in highschool. For donnie it's a mix of being very conscious about his appearance and in a sense yes he doesn't want to gain too much weight because then big mama will get on his case about it and she is already so controlling over him that just once more thing for her to criticize would be too much. but on like a more psychological level i guess? it's a way for donnie to take control over his life. he has so little control over anything that he does, essentially all his choices are controlled by big mama, so taking control over what he eats by not eating is one thing that he can control if that makes any sense

not that he is like currently aware that the lack of control in his life is partially why he is doing this, he'll have that realization later on once he's not living with big mama anymore

Putting my rambles here because oh boy this drawing has been a journey to work on lol

I started this back in February, but it’s been very on and off working on it due to life stuff lol. But I finally finished, so even though I’m not totally happy with it, I am glad I was able to finish it despite everything! Might redraw/expand the idea sometime, because I do like how silly it is, but for now here is this :]

Also extra info on what’s going on in the drawing itself! Donnie keeps score, here April and Raph are going over the current scores with him. Meanwhile, Mikey and Leo are having a match, and despite Leo’s attempts, Mikey is focused on winning lol (also the other Xs and Os are there, they’re just blocked by Mikey and I got too lazy to draw them).

i see your post about leo being relieved that hes trans because he learned his stripes would go away and i raise you: leo, who spends his entire childhood in fear because donnie told him that he will lose his stripes when he is younger, only for them all to realize hes trans when they dont

Oh…Leo having so much value in his looks and especially his stripes because they’re what make him stand out the most, and in turn it helps solidify himself a role in the team as the “Face Man.” Sure, he absolutely thinks himself good looking with or without the stripes, but his stripes are striking and he knows it, and they mean more to him than just looks anyway. Knowing all this time that his stripes were going to fade and yet still taking on his title and still being as confident as he is - imagine he’d already come to the conclusion that his worth on the team, in his family, was always on a timer.

Then that timer goes away. And he’s left with relief and tells himself that hey, he’d have been just as cool looking without the stripes anyway! But…he’s glad to keep them. Even if his role isn’t quite just “Face Man” anymore, his stripes are a part of him.

And it’s been really scary to think that someday he’d look in the mirror and see a part of himself missing.

FL is cat like.

like yes he’s a bloodthirsty 7foot+ tall abyssal beast but also nothing can tempt him more than the glass of water sitting right at the edge if the counter and the urges to knock it off is too strong.

but he wont do it, just for you, he shall restrain from the urges that moth-zoomies bring.

But what he wont restrain from is the urge he gets to lay on his back and purr as loudly as possible while you give his chest fur some scritchies

you almost develop a sixth sense for knowing when Foul Legacy's going to push something off the edge of the table- you've made an agreement with him: no glass and no liquids! sturdy things that won't make a mess are alright, so occasionally you'll just turn around and stare at him as he slowly pushes a spoon or a pair of chopsticks onto the floor; you let out the deepest, most exasperated sigh and go to pick the item back up, and Legacy always snuggles his face into your hair with a proud, satisfied purr. sometimes he'll WAIT for you to notice whatever he swatted to the floor, fluttering his wings happily when you finally do- at the very least, you never forget to put small things away anymore

Foul Legacy also flops over in your living room whenever the sun is out, soaking up the warmth and melting into a pile of moth mush. whenever he sees you he flips onto his back and purrs until you start giving him scritches- warning, do not give in if you have errands to do, because it will most likely end in Legacy pulling you to his chest and falling asleep with his arms wrapped around you. this will give him an excellent nap, since he sleeps best with you nearby, at the cost of you not being able to do anything for a few hours. he'll also bump his head against your cheek sleepily, drowsy from the sun's heat, before licking your nose and settling back down

you learn to get your errands done early in the morning when he's not awake
