Standing up to bullies

Aaaaand with that, it is the end of this event.

I had an amazing time doing this! It was so fun, and I found a lot of new cool artists to enjoy! I’m so surprised I managed to do so many of them. I only missed 2 (which I might make up for later)

This whole thing was so fun. Thank you @yellowhollyhock for this opportunity! It was wonderful, and I would never give up the chance to draw Raph for a month straight. I’m extremely grateful that they helped put March for Raph together!

I feel like these few small paragraphs aren’t enough to sum up my entire experience doing this. But just know, that this was the highlight of my entire month! And while it was hard at times to finish so,e prompts, and others far easier, just know that I tried my best and did what I could, and that I had a great time.

And so, 31 days later, the finale words I will say in March:

Thank you for everything and everyone! Yes, even the people who have never seen me before, thank you!

Anyways I like to think Raph wakes up at UNGODLY hours of the morning to wait for his family for Christmas (and beat Leo to the presents)

Poor Raph. All he wanted to do was feed the ducks

Fun fact: you shouldn’t feed ducks bread crumbs, since it doesn’t really have any nutritional value. Instead give them rice, chopped up lettuce, oats, birdseed frozen peas, or cut up grapes.

Raph knows this as the animal lover he is of course…. But who has the time to chop up lettuce? Just give them the whole cabbage.

Oh and Jayce (or whatever his name is) is there he’s just… out of frame or something. Yeah. That makes sense

My dnd character is a Canadian goose aarakocra so I’ve gotten some practice drawing ducks.

The character in question has eaten several dozens of candles now and has a collection of arms.

Fun times.

March for Raph day 23:

Least favorite student

Pretty simple art but I like it (I am too tired to color each of them lol :’))

You can barely see Splinter but that’s 1. Because of the perspective I wanted and 2. He terrified me… art wise. I don’t know if I can draw him and so far I haven’t even tried ✨

Everyday I think about Raphs parental issues and how Splinter after making Leo the leader probably tried training him and teaching him while Raph didn’t get any of that.

Like he had to deal with raising his brothers for years until Splinter finally steps up and starts being more responsible, while Raph is just left there like “Why didn’t I get any of this attention?”

… ok that’s more speculation and headcannons than what we saw in the show but I just love the idea of it

I think that’s also one of the (many) reasons I love rise Raph so much. Like his whole character is so cool and I love the material you have to work with with him! Also he’s just awesome

Oops I rambled again lol. Whatever I just finished rewatching rise for the hundredth time and GOD I love the last episode

But that’s a rant for another time lol

Ugh ok I admit that this is not one of my favorite drawings, which upsets me cuz I was so excited for this prompt :(
