Hi everyone! This is Claire. I am writing to let you all know that we did it. We saved Bailey and Tiger Fluff, and we all live together in an apartment in Illinois, my home state. We really, really did it!!!

(note: Oliver also goes by Bailey! She has two names.)

There are many important people on this journey that we would like to specifically thank.

First, all of our friends (especially Peregrine, Sophie, and Jackson) who were there on the day Bailey was evicted, who listened to me and helped me figure out what to do when I felt more lost than I’ve ever been. Without them we wouldn’t have been able to act so quickly and efficiently. Because of them, we were able to formulate a plan.

Speaking of Jackson, he and his partner Cherri need to be thanked once again. Jackson drove all the way from his home, Bailey’s motel, and back to get both her and Tiger to a place to stay while we figured out what to do next. They provided a warm, quiet, and safe place for both of them in a time when something like that was so far away. For the first time in a long time, I knew that Bailey was truly somewhere safe. For that, we will be forever grateful.

While we do not have their names, we would like to thank the staff of the airport and airline who helped make this journey objectively possible. They also made Tiger into a little celebrity on the flight, and everyone, including the pilot, went to greet her and congratulate her for being so brave. She really is the bravest little kitty we know.

Next are my very close friends Elle and Callan, who invited Bailey and Tiger to stay at their house not far from mine while we secured a place of our own. They, like Jackson and Cherri, gave both of them the space to simply be. I was able to visit a couple of times, and being with my favorite people made an extremely difficult time so much better. It made me think “this feeling is what we are fighting for”.

Finally, we’d like to thank you.

To all of you who read and shared our story, you helped us to feel seen and heard and not alone. Reading words of support in the comments, quote retweets, and tumblr tags truly made me feel like we could do this with everyone cheering us on.

To everyone who donated, your generosity this financially possible. As of writing, we received $19,381 from the GoFundMe. We are now able to use the rest of funds that have been tucked away in savings for rent, food, and bills. I cannot overstate how grateful we both are. What you did for us will never leave our hearts.

While Bailey and Fluffy were at Elle and Callan’s, we found an apartment. It was small, but perfect. We toured. We applied. And we got it.

And on December 9th, 2023, we moved in and started living together! Our goal, our dream, our driving force for so long was achieved. After three years of long distance, we finally made it.

Our home is small, and has some quirks as all homes do, but it’s ours. The love of my life, the best little cat in the word, and I are all together. We are safe, warm, happy, and loved. The future we fought so hard for us now the present. Forgive me for being long-winded. I just have so much to say about all of this! Sometimes I still can’t believe that we actually did it. But we did, we really did!!!

I’m going to keep the GoFundMe up for a little bit, but once things settle more I will close donations.

Hey everyone Bailey here, I cannot overstate just how grateful I am to every single one of you and how thankful I am that this journey has been able to come into fruition. It was very scary being in that motel not having a plan or knowing what I was gonna do next while everything was crumbling around me. If it wasn't for Claire and our incredibly kind and caring friends I don't know what I'd do. They helped me press on and get through this with Fluff and we finally did.

Finally we're in a place that brings nothing but peace and comfort, my anxiety has dropped and I'm doing things I've never thought possible and building up strengths I never knew I had, I feel whole in a way that I've never felt before and I'm just, happy.

I am so grateful to have Claire, for years she's been so supportive and comforting and has brought this dream we've had into reality and every day I am so thankful to have her, she is the love of my life and my best friend. The life that her, myself and Fluff now share will forever be together and we can finally begin living. 💚💜

Thank you everyone, thank you to our friends who let Fluff and I into their lives to be able to be safe while we get our bearings, thank you to everyone who said such kind and wonderfully compassionate words, cheering us on as we go, every day I was looking at the community post I made on YT and it was just filled with people being so supportive, and thank you everyone who donated and got us into where we are. Pollution by the river (S01E04) – River Wey Navigation, Guildford

Scene: The International Express Man delivers the package to Pollution

(fun fact: this one was the harderst one to pin down the exact location, I only knew bc of an article that the schooting took place by "Wey Navigation" which is a river long 32km (miles), I tried to find a better mention or through google maps comparing place for a long time but couldn't, finally I wrote to the River Way Navigation organization on facebook but they had no record of the shooting. Finally, in one of the photos I noticed that in the background there is a footbridge that I saw a photo of a similar footbridge while searching on a history of Wey Navigation river on the UK National Trust page and fortunately the previous mentioned facebook page knew where it was, WAHOO! :))

The World Word II crater they shot the main scene at should be in the west-south tip of the park. The whole path there and back is 4km (2,5 miles).

Tadfield Air Base (S01E05, S01E06) - RAF Upper Heyford, Bicester

Scene: For the shooting of the Tadfield Air Base the former RAF Upper Heyford was used, by the examining the google maps and screenshots from the series I think that the area labeled as 'Shelter 9' was used.

Availability (as of 2024): The place is no longer used by RAF purposes, there are several companies that use certain areas it but it is not available for public. The apple tree in the Garden of Eden (S01E01) - Waterfall Valley (formerly Cascade Country Manor), Paarl

Scene: The Eden apple tree with the waterfall in the background was filmed at the retreat Waterfall Valley (then Cascade Country Manor) (the tree was added by the film crew for the scene)

There were other scenes also filmed at South Africa (thought not specified exactly where): Hell was filmed in Cape Town in a former abattoir. The Noah’s Ark scene and the Crucifixion scene were filmed on a windswept plain just outside Cape Town. Also the Meggido scenes. The entire village used for the scene with War causing mayhem in an african village is in fact a set, built on scrubland over a sand mine just outside Cape Town. The French Revolution scene wa shot on a set that had been used twenty-four hours earlier for the scene in Ancient Rome. Famine visiting a burger place with Elvis was shot on a set in Cape Town. Also some scene's in Anathema's cottage with Anathema and Newt.

SEASON 2

Most of season 2 has been shot inside the film studio in Bathgate (f.e. the whole Soho has been built there), the driving throught the Blitz London in the Glasgow’s Wardpark Studios, the inside of the 1827 mausoleum in the River City studios in Dumbarton, the Hell in S2 has been shot in an old disused factory (not specififed which one). The shots of the Edinburgh castle have been shot from the top of the The Caledonian hotel.

It was yet another day full of work and exhaustion was all that filled the blonde's body as she drove back home from work.

She got out of the car and unlocked the front door of the house, only wanting to have you beside her, cuddles, and kisses, and every single other thing she could think of.

And then, before Taylor could panic any more, she walks into the bedroom, not expecting to see you laid on the bed horizontally with your eyes closed, covering the space of both her side and yours, while her guitar was placed just a few inches below your legs.

You must've been practicing to learn the guitar, and got exhausted too, she thought. She adored how you were learning, and not only for her, or from her, but also because you got inspired by her music.

What was important was the way you were breathing. And your face, oh, your peacefulness in your face. It made her smile so lovingly at you. She couldn't find anyone else who she would be more in love with.

Before she got any closer or that you would somehow wake up, she pulls out her phone from her pocket and captures a quick picture of you. It was the perfect picture.

She wanted to just jump into bed already and cuddle you, with how fuzzy she's feeling from seeing how adorable you looked, but she needed to shower first. She was sweaty from all the rehearsing for her upcoming tour.

And so, she got her clothes ready on the bed and went to take a shower. When she got out, you were still thankfully asleep. But your position did change. You were more curled up into a ball this time, like a cat, which made her want to squeeze herself and you. But she didn't wanna wake you, so she quietly put on her clothes, and tip toed to bed. Gently laying down next to you, which she could do so now, since you were more curled up, letting more space on the bed loose.

She takes you in her arms and pulls you closer like a teddy bear without waking you up, but also making sure you're in a more comfortable position.

Nothing could be better than this feeling she has in her heart. But then you instinctively snuggled closer to her, your nose nuzzling on her skin near her neck, tickling her a little, but the feeling of her wanting to melt overcame it. Well. That was a better feeling.

She went to sleep with you that night with a precious memory.

You were smiling as you looked through her gallery of pictures, full of Meredith, Olivia, Benjamin, and basically all the cats. Some pictures are of you and her, and to see them warms your heart.

Until you scrolled and perhaps accidentally found something you shouldn't have. Your eyebrows rose while Taylor blushed from behind you.

"Um, babe, you took a photo of me while I was sleeping?" You questioned softly, so as to not make her feel embarrassed. But her cheeks only turned red even more

"I couldn't help it. You're just too adorable." she giggled, now you're the one who thought she was adorable.

You playfully rolled your eyes, turning your head to look at her, and then went in to kiss her. She gratefully accepted it and kissed you back. Soon after, she pulls away and admires your face, just as she had the night before.

"I love you." The both of you smile at each other like two idiots in love.

"I love you, too."

i do some last minute cleansing and preparations as i get ready to start my year anew and fresh.

nick had invited a few friends over so we can celebrate our last hours of 2023 together.

i finish getting ready and put on my coat so i can head over to the house.

everyone arrived at various times but i was one of the first people to get there.

i’ve been friends with the triplets for about 7 years now, at first i met nick but he soon after introduced me to his brothers who i’ve been close with every since.

especially matt, matt is really like my best friend. since day one, matt & i have have a different type of connection where we understand each other on a different level

he’s always been there for me, as i have with him.

“hey!! happy new year” nick says as he opens the door to let me in

“happy new year!” i say while going in for a hug

“wow it’s been in a long year.” i continue

“tell me about it.. a lot has happened this year, from hitting 5 million subs to going on tour again.. it’s been a crazy year”

“yup, sad to see it end but ready to watch it go” i laugh

from the corner of my eye i can see chris coming up the stairs

“oh hey chris! happy new year” i say as i walk in for a hug

“yup! new year.” he greets back, “where’s the food?” he proceeds to ask

“chris shut up. it’s on the way, you can wait.” nick answers annoyingly

i chuckle at their banter

“where’s matt?” i ask out loud

“he’s probably in still his room getting ready, you can go check on him if you want” nick responds

i nod and make my way down the hall to his room.

i do my little signature knock that i do so he knows it’s me

“come in!” he shouts from the door

i open the door and walk in to give him a hug

“heyyy matt!!” i gleefully say

“why are you so happy?” he asks with a confused face

“cause it’s new year’s eve!!” i respond with more enthusiasm

“big plans for 2024?” he asks

“no plans, just hopes and wants.” i respond

“yeah? what do you hope and want?” he asks again

“i kinda hope for a genuine connection and relationship..” i say shyly

“really?”

“yeah. i just feel like im tired of meaningless flings or situationships. we’re only getting older.. i want something real” i say

“i feel you 100%” he reassures

“yeah.” i look down, “but anyway! do you have anything you’re looking forward too?”

“not really. i just wanna let the year play out how it’s supposed too.” he replies

“yeah i see th-“ im interrupted as the door swings open

“our friends are here. stop hiding in the room” says nick

“we’re not hiding” matt says as he gets up to make his way to the living room

i follow shortly behind

after a few hours of party games and jokes, we just hang around to enjoy our last few minutes of 2023

i go in the kitchen to grab some water and shortly after, matt follows along

he nervously stands there in silence for a bit pretending to be occupied before striking up a conversation

“before the year end i kinda just wanted to let you know that i really do appreciate our friendship” he says sentimentally

“aww matt, that’s so sweet.”

“i know i don’t really say it often but i do love you. maybe in more ways than i should to be honest.” he looks down

“huh? what do you mean?” i ask

“well you’re the person i can count on the most, other than nick and chris. you’re always there for me when i need you to be and i feel like i relate you on a deeper level. you just understand me as a person and i love and appreciate you a lot for it.”

i go in for a hug, “matt i love you so much! you’re gonna make me cry”

he hugs back but doesn’t seem fulfilled

“matt what’s wrong? you seem unfinished?” i ask still embraced in his grasp

“cause that’s not all i want to say. i just don’t know how to say it” he says

suddenly we hear our friends in the other room start the new year countdown

“well you better hurry before the new year begins” i chuckle

“six.. five” we hear from the other room

i stare up as he looks down at me with his mouth agape as he prepares himself

“two.. one-“

“i’m in love with you” he spills

“HAPPY NEW YEAR” i hear from the other room as i stare at him in silence

“this is probably the worst timing but i really couldn’t keep it in anymore. i can’t go into another year feeling regret for every day that i don’t confess to you how i fee-“

i break his monologue with a kiss

“i love too matt” i look up at him with a smile

“are you being serious?” his confused look making me chuckle

“yess matt. of course i do! like you said, i understand you on a deeper level. and i know you understand me just as well. i enjoy every second i spend with you and i love being around you, you always make me feel special. i also kept my feelings tucked in but i love you just as much” i confess

he smiles and places a kiss on my lips while placing both hands on each of my cheeks

“can i be your boyfriend, y/n?” he whispers into my lips as he holds my cheeks with both hands

“i’d love nothing more” i smile up at him

Comfortember 2023: 26 (Barca)

26. Friends

You had been hesitant to accept the dinner invitation that Lucy and Kiera had forced upon you at practice. You knew that they could tell that something was off, but you were fine. You didn’t need your coworkers butting into your personal life. 

On the other hand, the invitation promised a warm meal and a comfortable location, so you couldn’t think of a good enough reason not to go. With slight hesitancy, you accept the invitation. 

The two older women quickly become excited, insisting that you simply ride home with them. You couldn’t argue with them, they knew you weren’t old enough to drive yourself and this solution made sense. Plus, they promised to drop you off at home after, so you would be spared from the mile and a half walk home from the stadium.

You find both your excitement and dread growing as practice continues, finally finding yourself showered and changed into comfortable clothes. If you had known, you would have put more effort into your outfit. 

Once all three of you are ready, the two lead you out to the car. You slot yourself into the backseat easily and light conversation fills the air as you leave. 

Lucy pulls the car up in front of a sweet little house, somehow the perfect combination of the two women. It seems like a paradise for the women, and you’re afraid to break the serenity by entering. You don’t have much choice, though, as Lucy eagerly shows you inside. 

You pause in the doorway, training bag still in your hand. You feel so out of place in this loving home, you’re not sure what you’re supposed to do. What you want to do is turn around and run out the door, but that probably isn’t the best option. You’ll keep it as a backup plan, though. 

“C’mon, kid,” Lucy’s voice pulls you out of your thoughts, “just drop your stuff anywhere, no worries. Kiera’s gonna put the takeaway order in while I give you a tour.”

You nod in response, looking around the entry before settling your bag into the corner. It looked how you felt- grossly out of place. You didn’t have time to ponder this too much, as a firm hand on your shoulder guided you through to the living room

Lucy’s tour was thorough- to say the least.  You didn’t see why it was necessary for you to see every room of the house, but Lucy was animated and you were soaking in every small detail of how much this house encapsulated the way Lucy and Kiera melded perfectly. 

You ended back in the living room just as Kiera wandered in from the kitchen. She informs the two of you that dinner had been ordered and would be about an hour before suggesting that you watch a football match. You agree, eager to stop the awkward silence that had started creeping in. 

Lucy is more hesitant to agree, shifting slightly. You see the two women make eye contact, Kiera aggressively nodding to the tv set before Lucy agrees. The two settle on the sofa while you choose the chair. 

You mindlessly watch the match, already knowing the outcome from when you had watched it previously. You can tell the other two aren’t fully paying attention, as they are constantly looking at each other and whispering. 

“Oh, look at that,” Lucy grabs your attention, “do you see that sponsor in the background, for the boots? I completely forgot that they sent me a pair, but they don’t fit. Maybe you can try them on.”

Her acting is atrocious, honestly. Still, you’ve heard great things about this brand and you would love to see the boots. You agree to see them, opening the box and gently unfolding the paper. Your fingers run across the laces, moving to feel the logo. 

“Try them on,” Kiera encourages you, “they won’t fit either of us. Maybe someone can get some use out of them.”

They fit perfectly. Still, though, you don’t feel that you can take them. Kiera eventually has enough of your protesting, taking the shoes back from you. She exits the room, unzipping your training bag and ungracefully dumping them inside. 

“There, that’s settled. Dinner should be here soon, let’s get the table laid.”

Dinner was a relaxed affair, the food warm as it coats your taste buds. Conversation flows smoothly, carried mostly by Lucy and Kiera as you play with the food on your plate. As the meal progresses, you become more comfortable and join in more on the conversation. 

You help to clean up the kitchen after, an indication that the night is wrapping up. As much as you had not wanted to come, you find yourself not wanting to leave now. 

“It's very dark outside,” Kiera points out, “we can take you home now, but I don’t want to risk anything by driving too late.”

You look outside, where the sun is just barely dipping below the horizon, casting a warm glow. You look back to Kiera. 

“It might be safer for you to spend the night here. We’ve got pajamas you can borrow and you already have all of your things for training tomorrow.”

You feel a smile growing on your face, catching on. 

“I heard it might storm soon,” Lucy chimes in, “that would probably make travel pretty rough.”

The sky is completely clear.

You nod slowly, “I think that staying over might be a good idea, if it’s not too much trouble. Just to be safe.”

Lucy nods, “just to be safe. I'll make sure the guest bedroom is set for you.”

She exits the room, leaving Kiera alone. She walks to stand beside you, wrapping an arm around your shoulder. 

“Thanks,” you mumble quietly. 

“Of course,” she responds easily, “what are friends for.”

The ad said they were renting a room in a beautiful suburban home. You did a quick Google search about the man and learned he was the Assistant District Attorney—a respectable man. You were hesitant at first, of course.

But you should’ve been more careful.

Andy’s hand grips the back of your neck as he gives you a tour of his new home—the one he forcibly took you to. You know precisely what made him snap. 

After almost two years of living in his house, you finally found a place of your own that you could afford with your job. When you told him about it, he stared at you in disbelief before walking off, leaving you in the dark for almost two days.

You had already begun packing your things, knowing that when Andy would come back, he’d want you out immediately. That was fine, you said to yourself. You had a friend you could stay with until the moving day. 

Andy had always been so kind to you. He didn’t make you feel like a stranger in his home. He often brought you food whenever he assumed you’d be hungry. He certainly wasn’t a friend, but he wasn’t a lousy landlord. His demanded rent was reasonable yet not questionable. 

“You’ve always been such a stupid girl, huh?” he sniffs when you try to fight him again. You’re shivering in the thin dress he made you wear once you woke up. You faintly remember him banging the side of your head against the wall, just enough to knock you out. “Thinking you could leave me. Haven’t I been good to you? You’ll never find a man like me again,” he scoffs.

You bite your tongue, tempted to mention how his ex-wife divorced him and left him for a much gentler man. 

“C’mon, get a good look around. Let’s see if any of it will stick in that empty head ‘a yours,” he sneers, and the words cut through you like a knife. He’s heard you sniffling over your notes and cramming for exams, only to receive an average mark. How could he do this to you? Who does he think he is? A powerful man, that’s who. 

“You’re definitely not seeing up here for a few months. Not unless you’re being a good girl—and clearly, you haven’t been one,” he comments, and fear consumes you. He will leave you in the basement—the same dark, dreary place you found yourself in not too long ago. 

Andy shoves you in and out of different rooms, barely letting you examine your surroundings properly. But you’ve seen enough to realize just how demented he is—he’s got stock photos of different lifetime milestones in photo frames that decorate almost every wall. Ready for replacement.

Other than that, the place is boring. There truly is nothing special—until he gets to the stunning, stained-glass window. Ironically, in the centre of it, there’s a dove. Roses surround her, and she looks content despite the limitations of the material she’s made of. 

“Isn’t it beautiful? Bulletproof, too,” he comments, voice rough as he spits the words out. His breath smells like alcohol, and it makes you think about how deep down, Andy Barber is still some suburban man who has a few too many screws loose, yet not enough courage to admit it.

“Don’t even start thinkin’ about gettin’ outta here. S’not happenin’,” he grumbles. “But I’d love to see a stupid little girl like you try. It’d be funny,” he chuckles, and he lets you stare at the coloured glass for a little while longer.

“What is wrong with you?” you seethe, though your words are wobbly. You’re on the verge of tears, undeniably scared for your life. “Me? Nothin’. I just can’t believe you’d try and leave your future husband like that. What a dumb girl,” Andy smirks before shoving you back towards the door to the basement.

You would try fighting him, but even if you managed to get out of his strong, painful hold, where would you go? The doors are bolted and have keycodes to them. Maybe he was lying, but what happens after if you manage to break a window? You’d run outside, but you know you wouldn’t make it that far. 

Not in the cold—not with a desperate, crazy man chasing after you.

Timeline Theory…

July 2022 S3 starts filming, tension between L&J as they spend more time apart and L grows closer with N (I think L also has long harbored feelings for N and therefore withdrawing from J/emotional cheating leading to J doing the same with her costar)

November 2022 L&J break up, but it is messy and takes time bc they were living together and there was an expectation of forever from J, she struggles to let go)

During Filming - N and L act out their feelings (literally) but most likely not off screen, however their friendship and bond grows tenfold, at some point N is filming Big Mood and Camilla likely tried to ground N and tell her to take some time away from L to see if the feelings are real

March 2023 - Filming wraps, N friend zones L and tries to push her feelings aside, tells him to go travel and live the single life post J breakup (in a later clip that Tif posted she expressed how happy she was for him that he was traveling)

*Side note: around this time R got together with S

HBS 2023 R influences L to go on Raya to find a girl similar to S that will jive with the group so they can go on couples trips together, meets A and they start a casual fling

Fall 2023 - L is not working and has lots of down time (guess who else does as well), spends time with his friend group and A, but my guess is that they rarely see each other one-on-one and it is more of a group dynamic, go on couples trips with R&S

Jan 2023 A wants to make things official, but L says the timing is off with him going on a long press tour, he promises to spend time with her when he can, bringing her on work trips when able (Paris, LA, etc.)

*Around this time N may have been dating E, but I’m still not convinced that’s true. I think they were just close friends.

Through the press tour L&N’s feeling resurface, but there is underlying tension because L is seeing A, even though L is not ready to make it an official relationship (hence N’s comment during the paddle game about being friends and hanging out alone being a “mixed message”)

NY Premiere - A surprises L and there is tension, he doesn’t want her there and there’s friction at the after party, but he ultimately is too nice and makes up for it the next day by taking her to the basketball game in place of his sister (who probably told him to)

Brazil - At this point I think L&N talk about their feelings and L is upfront that he can’t cut ties with A at the moment, he’s probably worried about how it would affect the friend group dynamic and he probably already promised to take A on the trips after the promo tour (Milan, LA, GQ), but continues to tell N it’s casual and they are friends with benefits (I find it hard to believe A didn’t flirt with other guys while L was away for 6 months), N understands and encourages him to talk to A about the situation

Break Period - L takes A to soho house as an apology for NY and they discuss the situation, L expresses his feelings for N and tells her he will still take her on the trips to help her with her career as a friend

Canada/Ireland - Feelings between L&N become real and they talk about it, decide to take things slow, L makes it seem he has wrapped up things with A and N believes him

London - I don’t think L arranged the pap walk, I think someone on his team did (same one who told A about Brazil) or possibly someone from A’s camp although I find that hard to believe because I feel he would have dropped A quickly if that was the case. I think L was unaware his relationship was under a microscope and brought her to Milan not realizing people would be desperate to get photos. N was probably upset that he brought her to Milan after the pap walk and her show of public support. I have a feeling she decided to shove her feelings back down to protect herself from being hurt and told L to go off and be with A and the TT was a way to get L’s attention and also to use humor to try to get fans to back off and think she was ok)

NYC - the next day N flies to NYC to talk to L in person and potentially meet with the Netflix/Shondaland team to talk strategy, N expresses to L that she can’t be caught up in a love triangle at this point because of the negative attention and press, and the team decides the best thing for L is to carry on with A as normal until things fizzle and the attention shifts, NDAs were probably signed and A was told not to post anything about L, but she is desperate for attention and so are Ls friends so they continue to cryptically send messages to the fans that they are with him.

At this point I think things are fizzling with L&A, and the planned commitments and travel have all passed, and they are taking space, hence the need for A to keep recycling old content. I think L misses N and is trying to focus on himself right now while trying to keep everyone happy so as not to cause unnecessary drama (hence liking As posts)

The friend group probably feels bad and is trying to hype A by commenting and posting about her to show that even though her and L may not be together she is still welcome. A is riding the fame wave by piggybacking off of N and L is probably unaware. I think he has notifs turned on for N & A but otherwise is staying off of social media for his mental health.

“hey, it’s y/n. sorry, i missed your call. leave a message after the beep. bye!”

“hey, uh, it’s me, just been thinking about everything tonight and i don’t know… i just miss you so much. call me when you can. bye.”

ashton removes the phone from his ear and ends the call, followed by a long, drawn-out sigh as he stares at your contact photo.

you were standing on the harbour bridge with him, kissing his cheek. it was taken on his first tour, when the band was opening for one direction, and he had just asked you to be his girlfriend, to which you of course said yes. he was your best friend and the person you had fallen in love with years before.

you've been by his side since the beginning of the band till today. you helped him throughout his most difficult times, and he did the same for you. at one point you considered him your soulmate and imagined spending the rest of your life by his side.

that was, until the parties.

it wasn't horrible at first. you'd join him at a few parties here and there. it was fun at first but then things got out of hand. ashton would party practically every night, and the parties eventually moved to his house, where you also lived. and it was well into the morning before the nights ended. so, you'd just hide out in your bedroom or at a friend's house.

it was exhausting. you could never get anything done because your house was always filled with strangers. and you couldn’t talk to ashton about it because he was always hungover and told you he’d talk to you later.

eventually, it got to the point where you just couldn’t take it anymore. so, you left him.

ashton was a disaster. every night, he'd be out partying or at a bar, hoping to drown out the haunting thoughts of you.

his partying addiction had gotten worse since you left. he couldn't even remember what he done the previous week since he had been partying so hard that it was killing him.

sometimes he’d call you when he was blackout drunk, professing undying love for you and how he regrets everything. other nights, when he isn’t so drunk, he’d still call you and apologize for the drunk calls.

he was spiraling down a deep dark alley, and if he didn’t fix himself now, he’d never see the light again.

ashton didn’t know why he continued to party and drink so much. but, he continued without thinking about the consequences. even if he knew how bad he was while under the influence.

some nights were worse than others.

one night it got very out of hand.

it was nearing five in the morning and ashton had one too many like he usually does but tonight was different. he was angry. angry at himself for letting you slip from his hands, angry he treated you like gum on the bottom of his shoe when instead of the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

ashton sat on his sofa staring at the wall with a red solo cup in hand, occasionally looking towards the door hoping you’d walk through and come back to him. but of course, you never did, and you wouldn’t because you don’t go to parties anymore.

luke sat with his head hung, rubbing his temples. “ashton, you’ve had too much. cmon man. just go to bed and we will clean up. it’s almost five a.m”

but ashton doesn’t say anything, he just sits there and down the rest of the liquid in his cup before tossing it to the floor

“yeah, no wonder y/n left you.” ashton hears michael say under his breath which was just enough to send ashton over the edge.

now it was getting out of hand, ashton was screaming his lungs out at michael while he just stood there with his hands up, signaling he didn’t want to fight ashton.

finally luke called the one person he knew who would help. you.

“hey, y/n, i’m sorry it’s so late…well early but ash is drunk, very drunk. can you come get him? he’s causing a scene.”

"what? oh, christ. yeah, I'll be there in ten," you said as you jumped out of bed, grabbed the nearest sweater and sweatpants, and ran out of your apartment.

your heart felt like it was beating out of your chest. the drive was a blur, trying to get there as quickly as possible in order to avoid another fight.

you knew most people would never do this for their ex, but you still loved him. you were still madly in love with him at the time. you listen to every message he's ever left on your phone.

your inbox was overflowing with them.

you heard every sincere confession, every drunken apology, and every sober apology.

of course, you still had feelings for him.

you never stopped.

“thank you for coming.” luke swung the door open letting you slip inside, then walked through the trashed house. “he’s in the living room” you looked through the kitchen archway to see where luke was pointing, and then you saw him.

you pushed the door open and walked across smashed cans and cups to his side. "ashton?" your voice was soft, as if you were unsure how he would react to your sudden appearance. maybe he'll lash out at you, or he'll remain mute and go away.

he raised his head, his gaze meeting yours. ashton comes to a halt from whatever nonsense he was doing, which was probably another drunken rage. was this really happening? he asks, as he stares at you in bewilderment. are you standing directly in front of him? was he dreaming?

"y/n?" he calls your name, and you question, "ash, what's going on?" and his eyes glaze over merely hearing your concern.he only blinks in response, trying to figure out the situation.

he can't believe you're at his party after swearing them off, and it's for HIM. not anywhere else but his house. he says "y/n" a few times before wrapping his arms around your stomach and tightening his grip. he couldn't let you go away again.

you just let it happen and hug him back as he sits on the sofa, saying, "hey, I'm here, it'll be okay" and attempting to calm him down. despite your best attempts, he pulls away, taking everything in.

you noticed luke about to say something, so you put your hand out to stop him, silently shaking your head.

you knew ashton was in pain, so you took him upstairs. "hey why don't we get you upstairs and into bed?" you gently held his arm, which calmed him down. he allowed you to take him upstairs and away from the party. you pull over to chat to one of the boys on the way, saying that you're going to take him to bed.

"I appreciate you calling. I'll get him settled and then return to assist you with the cleanup." you say to luke before leaving.

you help him upstairs, doing your best to keep him upright. as you led ashton to the bed, he was babbling incomprehensible words. and after completing your normal cleaning and care for him, you took a step back. anxiety and confusion consume your body. thank goodness, his luke called you.

You've read the articles about his constant parties and the drunken scenes he created. he was a mess. but it was how he was dealing with the break up. you, on the other hand, have stayed home every night, watching sad movies, weeping yourself to sleep most nights, losing your appetite, and creating excuses not to see sierra or crystal. Isolation was your only option for coping.

you begin to rub the bridge of your nose as you stand by the side of the bed, looking down at ashton, who was in and out of consciousness. your heart was beating, and you were at a loss for what to do. when ashton opens his eyes and sees this, he becomes upset once more. he’s sorry you had to go to another party for him, and he rubs his eyes before saying, "you shouldn't have come." "y’hate parties." "i had to," you say, dropping your hands. "i was worried." he could see it in your eyes that you were sincere. "you're scaring me, ash" you took a pause to attempt to calm yourself as tears began to pool in your eyes.

you try to get him to bed without confessing anything or saying anything you don't genuinely mean, knowing he's incredibly inebriated and emotional. "scaring you?" he took a deep breath as he watched you toss his shoes to the floor. "yes. you’re killing yourself. i’m not going to sit by and let you do that." maybe you were getting a little emotional right now, so you looked away to gather your thoughts and finish getting him ready for bed. if he chooses to sleep.

you left the room once he was settled for a bottle of water. he probably won't know you're gone. only luke and calum remained, clearing up the garbage from the party. they all glanced up at you, waiting for news, but you just shook your head and said nothing.

you returned, half-opening the bottle and placing it next to the bed. ashton is staring at you in awe. "you're always the one taking care of me and i never deserved it," he says. “you deserved so much better than me." you didn't let the fact that he was incredibly intoxicated and emotional get to you.

you lower your head, nibbling on the inside of your cheek. don’t let him hurt you like this, y/n. you kept thinking to yourself, he was intoxicated and didn't mean anything. you get up to leave, eager to go home and cry into your pillow about how much he misses you. he reached for your hand, carefully gripping it, and said, "stay with me." you freeze, tilt your head, and appear torn, so he adds "please? just tonight." while staring into your eyes, desperate.

so, you stayed. laying on the opposite side of ashton, you heard his breath steady assuming he was finally going to sleep. until you heard “i love you.” you had only hoped that if you were still he’d leave it alone and would just go to sleep. but he continued. “when i left that morning, i didn’t stop. i never did. you’re my whole world, and i hate the person i’ve become. i wanted to spend the rest of my life with you, but i screwed it up.” your heart was racing, picking at your nails you felt him shuffle next to you. “you were the best thing i’ve ever had and i let you go. ‘m sorry. you can hate me. i understand.” you waited a bit, but that was the last thing he said for the night.

you ended up leaving before he woke up because it was now daylight and you didn't want to be there when he did. you stood above him before leaving, and he looked so calm. naturally, you bowed down and kissed his brow softly before exiting the room. so, you were gone by eight a.m. you had a minor breakdown on the drive home, knowing that the love is still there, and seeing him so vulnerable makes your heart ache. but you kept reminding yourself that he was drunk. he most likely didn't mean half of what he stated.

right?

you had just finished your meeting the next day and were standing in your kitchen preparing a cup of coffee when you were stopped by a rhythmic knock. you walked over leaving the cup on your counter. as you answered the door, you saw ashton.

“hey.” he said, stuffing his hands into his jacket. you stepped back, then saying “why are you here?” ashton looked around, spitting a few framed pictures of the two of you which he thought was odd. he thought you hated him. he shrugged, “i just wanted to thank you for last night, and everything.” you sighed, “come in” you stepped to the side and let him enter, then closed the door behind him. “do you want some coffee?” he sat down on the sofa.

“sure.” he answered, looking around the room. you came back with a black mug and handed it to him, and took your seat across from him.

there was a moment of silence, the two of you would steal glances at each other but didn’t want to say anything, wondering how to approach the conversation waiting to be held.

his comment was abrupt. “i meant what i said, you know.” you looked up from your coffee, to meet with his eyes already looking at you. “what?” you blinked, placing the mug on the table. “last night. everything, i meant it. from me still loving you, to wanting to spend the rest of my life with you. i meant every word.” he was being sincere, he held eye contact as he spoke and didn’t break it once.

truthfully, you didn’t know what to say. the situation wasn’t ideal, and to be honest with yourself, you knew you still loved him. “ashton..” you finally spoke, followed by a long sigh and dropping your head into your hands.

“then why do you continue to do this? you’re drinking yourself to death, ash. how can i trust that you won’t do it all over again, even if i want to work this out?” ashton stands up from his spot and moves in front of you, on his knees as he holds your hands. "i get drunk to forget the color of your eyes and the way your hair falls and how soft your skin is and the way your smile makes me feel; but it seems like the alcohol can't change my memory of you." he had been waiting to tell you this for the longest, “i do it because it’s the only way i know how to cope and i know it isn’t the best way, but it’s all i know.”

ashton runs his thumb over your knuckles. you look down at his calloused hands feeling your lip quiver “and if that isn’t enough just tell me, and i’ll leave for good.”

you shake your head letting the tears fall, “ash..i just want you to stop..all this drinking isn’t good for you, i can’t just let that happen.” you say, and he nods. “i know, i know.” he hushes your tears, raising up to hug you. “i’ll do better, i promise.” he says into your hair while wiping your tears.

“how can i trust you?” you ask

“because, i love you. and i’ll be damned if i lose you again.”

Minho and his roommates were a mix of freshman to juniors and some of them had lived in the house since last school year. The guy that used to live in the basement apartment had graduated so the landlord naturally put the room up for rent last Spring. A few people had checked out the place, but nothing really panned out. While everyone was away for the summer, you met up with the landlord to tour the apartment. Feeling desperate for a change and in need of a new place asap, you immediately agreed to let the space. The boys had gotten word that someone would be moving in and were naturally curious who had taken over the vacant apartment. They assumed it would be another guy. The boys had not been expecting you. 

Minho wraps a fitted sheet around his mattress as he tries to finish making his bed. He was the last to return to campus and decided to do a deep clean before the new semester started. He shakes out his comforter, flicking it into the air. As the comforter slowly settles onto the bed, his attention is drawn away by noise outside. He walks over to his window and sees a small moving truck parking to the side of the house. An older man steps out, walking around to the back of the truck to slide open the trunk door. Another car pulls up behind him shortly after. You and an older woman exit the car to meet who Minho presumes is your Father. He can’t really get a good look at his new neighbor as the summer sun is blocking his view. 

Feeling a little too nosy, he decides to grab some of the mugs he’d let collect in a corner downstairs to wash. The kitchen sink window faces the side of the house that the basement apartment entrance is on. While Minho waits for the water to warm up, he notices the parents look to be bickering about something. You just stand there, arms crossed, watching the pair. Finally interceding, your parents seem to come to a truce and get back to unpacking the vehicles. Minho watches as you run back to the apartment, rushing down the stairs and into the basement. Your parents follow in tow and disappear inside. You return a few moments later.

"Hey, Dad. I’m gonna grab my suitcase from the trunk. I’ll be right back,” you shout. 

Minho finally gets a proper look at you. You’re wearing jean shorts and a sports tank top. Nothing particularly special, but Minho thinks you could wear a paper bag and it would still look amazing. Now he is suddenly imagining you wearing nothing at all. He accidentally drops the soapy mug he was poorly washing into the sink and curses. When he looks back up you’re grabbing something from the trunk of the car. You look like you’re struggling. Minho considers going outside to help you, but his legs seem to have locked in place. His heart is drumming loudly in his ears. Luckily, your Dad comes out just in time before you’re crushed by the jigsaw of boxes you compacted into the trunk. 

“Careful, Mija,” your Dad says as he takes down a few boxes to help you dislodge your bag.

“Thanks.” You nod and pull out the suitcase you had been struggling to get out. 

Minho looks over your form as you roll the suitcase back towards the apartment, his jaw going slack. He is so distracted by you that he misses Chris walk in. Chris stops as he notices something outside has captured Minho’s attention. He’s unsure if it’s something pleasing or horrific, but whatever it is, his friend is completely lost to it. Chris finally comes up to Minho’s side and places a gentle hand on his shoulder, startling him from his thoughts.

“아 깜짝이야!” Minho turns around quickly, clutching his chest. 

Chris puts up both his hands. “Whoa, there. You good, mate?” 

“Yeah…sorry.” Minho takes a moment to recover his composure. “What’s up?” 

“I just wanted to see if you would be down for pizza tonight.”

“Sure.” Minho leans against the kitchen counter throwing the sponge into the sink. Chris is about to say something when Jeongin interrupts him.

“Hyung, we’re getting pizza?!” the young boy asks eagerly.

Chris turns his attention to Jeongin. “Yeah, what kind do you want?” 

“Cheese, pineapple, and black olives please.” The hyungs look at each other then back at their youngest with intense concern. “What?” Jeongin just blinks, not understanding their expression of disapproval. 

“Pineapple? On pizza? 진짜로?” Chris can’t fathom the combination. 

“미쳤어,” Minho says as he walks past the confused maknae. 

“What?! It’s delicious!” Jeongin follows after Minho, attempting to explain why his combination of flavors is superior to any other kind of topping combination.  

Chris steps in front of the kitchen sink and looks out the window to see what had held Minho’s attention earlier. Right on cue, you walk into view. He looks back at Minho in the living room, arching his eyebrow. Minho is currently teasing Jeongin, telling the rest of the roommates about his preferred choice in toppings. The room erupts into equal parts laughter and disgust. Chris hears you shout something outside which pulls his gaze back to you. Minho was not one to have his attention diverted easily by women. In fact, Chris was pretty certain he’d never even seen his friend genuinely like someone romantically. He shakes his head and sighs as he anticipates the trouble you would inevitably cause his devil bunny. 

When Minho notices that Chris has left the kitchen, he heads back in to resume cleaning dishes…and hopefully to steal another glance at you. At the same time you happen to look up at the kitchen window and Minho quickly ducks. He waits a few moments before taking a peek once again. You were now facing the street. Sweat was starting to drip down your chest so you gathered your hair into your palm and started fanning yourself. Minho licks his lips subconsciously as he looks over every detail of your features. The sun now hits you just right and Minho thinks he’s either hallucinating or looking at an actual angel. A knot forms within his stomach and he tries to gulp, but his throat has become dry. Minho chastises his behavior. He’s a grown ass man, not a teenager who can’t control his hormones. He doesn’t need any distractions right now so he tells himself it would be best to avoid you for as long as possible.

Later that evening Minho notices the moving truck is gone so he steps outside for a smoke. He’s about to pull out a cigarette when a man approaches him. 

“Hi!” the older man greets him cheerily. Minho quickly puts his pack away and turns to face him. 

“Oh, hi.” Minho says quietly as he dips his head for a quick bow. The man is tall, a bit intimidating looks-wise, but seems friendly enough. 

“I’m Gregory.” Your Dad sticks his hand out to Minho.

“Minho.” The boy smiles as he takes hold of your Dad’s hand.

“Minho, eh? You must be one of my daughter’s neighbors?”

“Yes, sir.” Minho starts to feel his palms sweat for some reason. 

Your Dad puts his hands on his hips looking around the home’s property to soak it in, while nodding to himself. Minho stands awkwardly in silence, shifting on his feet. Gregory finally speaks. “She’s a good girl.” He looks back to Minho whose eyes are probably bugging. “My daughter. She’s a good student too. Shouldn’t give you any problems.” Minho continues to smile, unsure of what to say back. He wasn’t really a parents kind of guy.

“Well, I’ll get out of your hair then. It was nice to meet you, son.” He pats Minho on the back a little too hard, sending Minho slightly forward. “Take care of our girl!” 

“Uh, yes, sir. Will do.” Minho gives a salute and cringes at his gesture. Gregory laughs as he leaves Minho and heads over to the car. Minho decides to walk back inside the house completely forgetting why he even went out in the first place. He just desperately needed to end this interaction. You get a small glimpse of the boy your Dad was speaking with before he disappears into the house, but not enough to fully see his face. You run after your Dad to help him continue unloading the vehicle.

“Who was that?” you ask as you grab a box.

“Just one of your upstair neighbors. He seemed nice.” 

“Oh?”

“Yeah, I told him that if anything happens to you I’ll send your mother’s family after him and his roommates.” You nearly drop the box in your hand as you stare at your father, mouth agape. 

“Please tell me you’re joking.” Your Dad ignores you, intentionally teasing you and you groan in response. The sun is finally starting to set, washing everything in a pink and orangey glow. You stop walking to look up at the house placing the box on your hip. There are some shadows moving behind the reflective windows and nerves suddenly spread through you as you think about having to meet everyone at some point. You wonder what type of people you’ll be sharing this old house with.

May 2024

Minho leaves his last class of the day and stops by a vending machine to grab a drink. Jisung is supposed to meet up with him momentarily to walk home together. As he takes a sip he spots you across the way coming out of the English building. It looks like you’re talking to some classmates. He watches the way your eyes crinkle as you laugh at whatever joke the guy to your left just made. Minho scoffs and rolls his eyes assuming the guy is trying to impress you. He angrily takes another swig of his sugary drink. You say goodbye to your friends and unintentionally head in Minho’s direction. Your entire demeanor shifts and your smile is quickly replaced with a frown. Minho doesn’t make an effort to hide and instead locks eyes with you. 

The two of you continue staring at each other, both parties waiting for someone to make a move. Minho can’t bring himself to budge because he knows exactly what he’ll do if he does. He can tell you’re internally debating the same so he decides to make the choice for you. Minho shakes his head signaling to not come any further. Your shoulders slump and you can feel the prick of tears behind your eyes. Jisung interrupts the uncomfortable moment when he throws an arm around Minho and greets him. He follows his hyung’s gaze and sees you. Jisung waves at you enthusiastically and smiles. His smile always had a way of warming your heart, but in this instance it just made you even more sad. You return the wave, but barely smile back. Minho turns away in the direction of home, leaving Jisung to look back and forth between the two of you before finally sighing. He shrugs and shakes his head giving you one last wave before following the older boy. Minho forces himself to keep his eyes forward and not look back to see how hurt you might look. 

Minho wasn’t someone to chase women, they usually came to him. It was just a fact. He didn’t really do relationships. Not because of commitment issues or bad past breakups. It was mostly because outside of schoolwork he was always busy dancing at the studio in his free time so he resigned himself to flings. They filled his needs, at least until they suddenly didn’t. Until he met you.

I’m begging on my knees rn for bill kaulitz daughter reader anything. Like I imagine they’re super close and he had her at like 16 and she’s his baby. When he goes live with the band she’s right next to him, they have self care days where they just chill and do face masks and stuff, hugging and cuddling all the time. She def goes to Heidi and tom’s house at least twice a week to hang with them and texts Georg and Gustav every day just to talk to them. The fans would adore her, edits galore. Thanks sm pook 🫶🏻

Sure you were born when he was young but he didn't care

It was a little stressful though

Especially with just starting out with being famous

He didn't know how to deal with that and especially with paparazzi

When it came out he was a teen Dad already when he was just famous and sixteen he got a bit of hate

It didn't matter though as the fandom back then was amazing and didn't care about Bill being a dad

They just loves him more and they loves you as well

Whenever fans would see you they would swoon, especially with seeing you on your dad's hip

The boys loved you and in photoshoots you were practically a prop

You were once sat on a fancy chair in that one photoshoot with them all kneeling and bowing down for jokes as the cameraman just let them take the pictures

Fans would always want your little autographs as well and they were just as valuable to them as Bill's were

When you were little there were so many pictures of girl fans holding you and kissing your cheeks with your little smile and laugh being captured

You were a really loved and cherished baby

Tom definitely used you to get girls but he also loves his niece

He loved taking you from Bill, walking you or taking you out anywhere and everywhere

Georg would steal you when Bill slept and took you everywhere with him and Gustav

You were once in a club somehow and drinking soda while on the bartenders hip and Georg serving drinks while Gustav was having the time of his life

Nobody knew how and Bill almost killed them but it was a fun time

You were always taken on stage and got to throw stuff in the crowd as well

You loved the attention and the spotlight as well

Bill kept you away from the hate and the bad things, especially when your house was broken into and you guys were moved away to LA

Bill did a very good job at being your dad even if he was young and not so mature yet

He made it very known that you were the best thing to happen to him, you're why he was still there when he was going through stuff and you're the best kid in the world

He would always post your accomplishments, went to any games or recotald or plays you had and be proud

He made sure you had everything and anything you needed as well and didn't care what people thought of him

When you get older your dad and you just get closer

You're always hanging out with him, and proud to be his kid

He wants to relax with you a lot so you guys have little pamper and relax sessions

Skin care, watching movies or stuffing your faces with anything you could want

You always want a hug from your dad, probably still sleep in his bed like your little from time to time

You are a guest in his lives, in photos and videos and hugs all the time

There weren't a lot of edits though because it was in the early 2000's

But when the band got popular again in 2023?

You saw videos and edits of you from years ago and stuff that you didn't even remember and just reminisced all over again

It was like a fever dream and the fans loved you just as much still

You steal Tom's clothes and shit and still tease him like your a kid still

He's the uncle trying to keep you out of trouble but somehow gets into trouble with you

So many pictures of you around his house as well as your like his own baby even when you're his niece

He loves letting you stay over and lets you all the time

You're constantly texting Georg and Gustav even if you're not living as close to them anymore

You miss those times on the tour bus everyday with them and being so close to them

But you manage and you still visit them and they visit you

You were probably a flower girl in Gustavs wedding and were so happy to meet your cousin, Gustavs daughter, as well

Georg and his fiance are also so close to you as well

You once snuck literally out to Germany somehow and crashed at Gustav's place and somehow Georg was there

Nobody told Bill until he called Gustav and freaked because he couldn't find you and Gustav just passed the phone to you

You weren't even mad, just wanted to see your cousin and uncles

Bill just stopped and stared at you with a deadpan

He has accepted it and loves you but you definitely got grounded

The Song 'Everybody's Waiting' is coming

Just before a big European tour, Joker Out will present a new track, undoubtedly one of their most magnificent songs to date - Everybody's Waiting. This is the band's first release after their temporary move from their native Ljubljana to London, where they were driven by the desire to create a new album. Everybody's Waiting focuses on personal thoughts and reflections that accompany many young people these days. The premiere of Joker Out's new single will take place on Friday, the 16th of February.

Joker Out on Anxiety

The song Everybody's Waiting grew out of Bojan's sudden bouts of anxiety on stage and in everyday life. In an increasingly fast-paced society driven by success and individualism, anxiety is now, unstoppably, on the rise, but it still seems to be somehow overlooked and ignored. A song can act as a valve that offers the listener the opportunity to recognise himself as the main protagonist of the story, recognise his own feelings and release the tension.

The song was written last summer, when the band was recording the song Sunny Side of London in the Beatracks studio in Kočevje. It was produced by their longtime producer Žarko Pak, the mix was created by Sebastian Krys, and the final sound was provided by Maor Appelbaum. In the music video, which will also be premiered on the 16th of February, we will be able to follow the story of the protagonist, who struggles with his inner battles in the comfort of his own house, while the band, almost like an apparition, pours out its soul through its instruments around him. The video highlights the deep introspective nature of the song, while hinting at the role of music and art in overcoming personal challenges. Bojan took care of the direction in tandem with the long-time collaborator of the band, Mark Pirc.

The 'See You Soon' Tour

The new single comes two weeks before the start of the big European tour 'See You Soon', which takes the band to as many as 13 countries, including France, Belgium and Italy for the first time. It promises 22 concerts at some of the world's most iconic venues, including the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire. The dates of some festival concerts are also known, including EXIT (July 10-14, Novi Sad), Sziget (August 7-12, Budapest) and Sea Star (May 23-26, Umag).

At the end of last year, Joker Out also released the album and concert film 'Live From Arena Stožice', which was created at their revolutionary concert in Ljubljana's Arena Stožice, in front of 12,000 fans. The album can be found on all music streaming platforms and an exclusive concert film directed by Mark Pirc is available on demand on the band's website.
