Some repos from the extras at Legend of Zanghai filming set.
Repo 1
"After the stunt double audition, the staff asked us to take off our clothes and get ready. I put my clothes away and stood aside. I was caught off guard when I saw Zhan Zhan walking over. It was about four o'clock in the afternoon. I was walking very fast, with black umbrellas on both sides, but I still saw his side face in the backlight.
"The sunlight gave him a soft light filter, making it hazy, illusory and beautiful. No matter how I opened my eyes, I couldn't see clearly. He walked to the side of the carriage and sat down, still holding umbrellas on both sides, while the staff arranged his appearance.
"After getting ready, Zhan Zhan got into the carriage. When he started filming, he was about to get off the carriage, pass through a large pavilion and look into the distance. When Zhan Zhan stood on the pavilion and looked out, I walked perfectly under him and was just a few steps away from him. There are two steps, estimated to be about two meters, and you can see very clearly from here.
"Overall, he is very tall and thin, and his clothing style makes him look very elegant, a bit like a frail scholar. His face is small, white and three- dimensional, and his skin is delicate and flawless. His eyes will look up when he looks at this action. His expression looks very childish, so cute and cute! I stopped here and returned to my original position. I shot this scene three times, which means I stood under the steps and watched Zhan Zhan three times! His eyes are so good, his nose is so good, his mouth is so good!! But this scene is very short. , he left after filming."
Repo 2
"Then came the night scene. I was arranged to go to the first floor of the attic by the river. I was immediately fascinated by the scenery.
"First of all, it was the moon that had just risen. It was big and full. The color was warm and yellow. The darker the night, the brighter it became. By the river The attic is filled with warm yellow lanterns, countless small river lanterns are placed on the river, and there is also a boat filled with flowers. The crowds on the shore bridge are bustling. The overall atmosphere is very, very romantic. Just looking at the scenery makes me so happy. Cry.
"My task was to put up the river lanterns. The team leader quietly told us that the names of the river lantern props were not recorded and we could take them back secretly after taking the photos...
"There was a beautifully decorated boat on the dock next to it. Later, cameras were set up one after another and it was confirmed that Zhan Zhan was going to board the boat.
"The passage was on the second floor. There was no way on the first floor and we could only circle around the building, so we couldn't get closer to him. It was a night scene, so I couldn't see his facial features clearly. Zhan Zhan came out of the house and went down the stairs to the dock. There was a beam of light here that would shine on his face for a moment, and then every time he passed by here, my eyes would light up.
"There were many people on the pier, and his height and figure stood out. Although it was dark, I could see him as soon as he came out of the house. He got on the boat and walked through the cabin and sat down at the other end. He could only see his profile.
"I talk a lot when I'm excited, and I broadcast Xiao Zhan's current situation to my friend next to me in real time: Xiao Zhan is breathing heavily, Xiao Zhan is turning his head, Xiao Zhan is beeping, Xiao Zhan is clapping, Xiao Zhan's cervical vertebra is returning to the C position, Xiao Zhan is clasping his hands...
"I also saw him taking pictures of the sky with his mobile phone, which he will definitely post later. I don't know if he took the pictures of the crew's headlights or the moon.
"Almost all that was left was the panoramic shot. We all thought that the whole scene was just a stand-in and the actor should call it a day.
"Unexpectedly, he came out again. We watched it again. I really couldn't see his facial features clearly in this night scene, but some of his little moves are really cute, and his overall body shape is very good and upright. The costume appearance in this drama shows that he has a literary character, and he is not a boastful person."
Repo 3
"When I woke up, I found that it was snowing heavily in Hengdian. I suddenly wanted to take pictures of the snow scenery along the river during the Qingming Festival. Hengdian covered with snow has a unique flavor. I saw the filming of Legend of Zanghai inside, and I also took a look at Xiao Zhan, who was too thin, and Brother Zhan got wet. A piece of snow~ The auspicious snow heralds a good harvest. I hope Legend of Zanghai will become a hit drama and get better and better next year."
Repo 4
"Everyone worked very hard to set up the scene early, and the attitude of the on-site staff was very good. Anyway, I really like this crew, and the happiest thing today is seeing Xiao Zhan.
"Ah, you can understand my excitement from words. I feel that I have already. He was very restrained but still very excited. At that time, I also knew why the fan checks were so strict. I was not his fan and I was very excited. How can I take pictures when the fans are here? I was so excited that I was feeling sleepy.
"Suddenly, I heard the little sister next to me say that Xiao Zhan came out. Who knew the family members immediately woke up and their eyes widened.
"The little sister next to me was even more exaggerated. While standing on tiptoes to look, she had already taken out a pair of glasses from her pocket. The three of them took turns looking at this face, this figure, this, this, this, this, this, really hot."
Repo 5
"Good news: I saw Xiao Zhan and Xiao Zhan also saw us!
"Bad news: I only saw the side face...
"I accidentally drove a rental car in the scenic area and saw it when I passed by the set (because the set was being cleared at that time and the staff said he had left after filming and we didn't know he was there) and then we paused... the director reminded
"After we got dressed, we were in a hurry to leave (we were shocked and worried about affecting their progress), but we pressed the button to reverse... which made everyone laugh. So Xiao Zhan turned around, probably to see what was going on with the rest of us in the car. Stayed to death.
"The weather was too cold, so I was in a hurry and the car got stuck. Haha, a few college students can't muster a sound brain. When he turned around, our eyes couldn't focus because it was snowing heavily and we were busy getting the car and we had to listen to the staff...and we all knew we couldn't take pictures, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh My dissatisfied eyes"
Repo 6
"He's tall, handsome, and has a good figure. His face is so good that he can't help but smile. Now I finally know how well Xiao Zhan's fans usually eat.
"I'm sorry, I'll climb the wall for two days. The crew members have good looks, good looks, and super food. It’s delicious. Apart from collecting my cell phone and trying to help me quit my Internet addiction, he’s really a killer. I’m so happy.
"My own aesthetics are my own aesthetics. I feel that he is the most stunning man I’ve ever seen in real life.
"Today I was assigned to Legend of Zanghai!!!!! I watched it up close for a long time! Xiao Zhan is so handsome! He’s so beautiful! I’m going crazy hahahahahaha I saw him in the daytime drama, and also in the evening drama, and I stood behind him and followed him. I passed him at close range several times and felt that my life was complete.
"Another thing I feel is that The Legend of Zanghai is so good. I get off work at a certain time, even earlier than the main actors. Haha, the rest are all group performances until the end"
Repo 7
"He is really worthy. He is very humble and polite on the set."
Repo 8
"Excited to meet Xiao Zhan in Hengdian
"The first time I came to Hengdian, I met the crew of "The Legend of Zanghai" during the Qingming Festival Along the River. The blue fence was Brother Zhan's RV. It was also fenced off during the filming, but you could see it from all sides.
"The filming started at 1 o'clock. At around 4 o'clock, many onlookers left. Brother Zhan walked through the show three times. The real person was handsome, tall and thin. He has a good figure, but he looks thinner than on TV."
Repo 9
"On 1.25, a blind box was opened in Hengdian and the crew of Xiao Zhan (The Legend of Zanghai) was opened. I finally met Xiao Zhan after coming to Hengdian for more than a month. The scene that day was shot for the scene where the male and female protagonists are on a boat. Xiao Zhan himself has a small face, a tall and handsome figure, and super good manners. He is worthy of being a top-notch look in domestic entertainment."
Repo 10
"The distance is less than one meter, haha, the kind of people who pass by each other, who knows?! Brother Zhan’s face is so small, as if he has beauty function turned on (it’s really not an exaggeration). His face is also very delicate, with a high nose Yes, the eyes are beautiful.
"They were filming the boat scene last night. When they got off the boat, everyone was staring at them, for fear of missing every second. I finish work after two o'clock and then go to the set later. I don't know if I can see the leading actor. Finally, I would like to say that celebrities are really good- looking in reality."
Reply
"The face is super small, even smaller than what you see on TV, and the temperament is very elegant."
Reply
"Ha, he is super handsome in real life."

Initially my plan today was to share a little personal story about something that happened in my world, well actually in my street right in front of my house. But then I got caught up in this other story I posted a bit ago. But I still want to share the story as in fact it fits seamlessly with today's story.
So here it goes.
Yesterday, as often on Saturday, my sister dropped by to pay me a little visit. Drink some tea, chat a bit and exchange the news we eventually have. As we sat in my living room, facing the street in front of my house, I heard a loud bang! My first thought was, oh someone drove their car into something, or an accident? I went to the window to take a look outside, but all I could see was a car driving off at, what to me seemed a bit a high speed for the overall calm street I live in.
So my sister and me resumed our conversation and after about 15 to 20 minutes she wanted to leave and go home. We went outside, her car was parked in front of my house across the street. Then she discovered that the cars was damaged. The left back corner of her car had big scratches, a dent in the bumper and the backlight plastic cover was broken. The pieces we found on the street. And when we looked good, the car even scooped up forwards for over a meter!
Quite unpleasantly surprised you could say, and I immediately connected the dots, that must have been the loud bang I heard. But as it was dark, and my sister owns a black car, I didn't see anything. As well as just seeing the car racing away out of my sight, too dark to tell the brand or see a license plate.
We took photos of the whole situation, of course she had insurance (it's an obligation owning a car here to have it) and of course the damage would be covered by her insurance. But just the thought of someone getting away with it that way, well...
My sister called the police for advice what to do. But as we had not much to go with, they couldn't do anything. Only if we had at least something they could work with, they were willing to further proceedings. Though the police tipped us to find out if there were neighbours who might have seen something or have cameras facing the street.
Of course we were going to do so, but as it was already dark, many neighbours had their curtains closed. But today, lots of people have these smart door bells, it's called a 'ring' here. If someone is at the door, you can see on your phone who it is, even when you're not at home, and you can talk to them as well.
What if people recorded and saved footage! So I started to look around, and ask neighbours, and boom one of my neighbours had saved footage. And as we did had a good indication for the time slot the accident happened, we could find a video, that showed where the car drove off from (turned out, it was parked right behind my car), how the car crashed into my sisters car and speeded off. And we could determine the brand and color of the car, as well could find footage of the person arriving by daylight. Just not the license plate.
Now that was already a huge step forward! Totally thanked the neighbour who also was willing to send the video to my sister. We had proof of how it happened by now, and car brand and color. Then another neighbour saw us looking around, and came out and we shared our knowledge thusfar. And wow, he knew where the owner of the car had been visiting! Yay, another step forward.
We went to the house the owner had been visiting, but here we stranded, as nobody answered the door. We tried for a while as I, I don't know why, but I had this feeling someone was just not willing to answer the door and the people living there are... well let's say, most of my neighbours are not speaking highly of them - ahem
Okay, so we went to my home again, considering what to do next. As we were talking we saw people looking at the damage on the car with their flashlights on the phone. But when I went to the window to see who they were, they quickly went away. Meanwhile my sister decided to call the police again as we now had more information they could work with.
While she was on the phone, I saw a car driving by, and now suspicious, I went to the window to see where the car went to. And boom, it pulled up the driveway of the people who the car owner had been visiting. I grabbed my coat quickly, and ran outside, so the person couldn't hide anymore. I called her name, and she had to turn around and answer me.
I asked her if she had any visitors this afternoon who own the car and named the brand and color, and was parked behind my car. She looked a bit scared, and I resumed, as this person drove into my sisters car and we have proof of that, a video. And now there was no denying anymore possible, and she quickly came up with some story that they planned to contact me, but her husband first needed to go to the toilet (whut! 🫣😱) (yeah fits right, what a BS excuse)
She clearly was lying through her teeth but I didn't show my disbelief. I needed the person's information, name address, we need to sort this out with insurance. And a bit later on her husband sat in my house filling out the forms...
Job done, my investigating skills paid off, my reputation as a friendly person and neighbour got me all the willingness and help from other neighbours and the result achieved was we got the crime solved!
So moral of the story, don't try to lie, cheat or deceit, today in this day and age, there are cameras everywhere. Nothing stays hidden, there is more footage than probably most of us like or would want. It's not all online (I think these private footage is not even allowed to put online here) but even the police takes advantage of this sort of footage, that can be obtained by a 'simple' doorbell! And if you can be friendly and open minded, people are much willing to share things with you. (just like we saw today in that other story)
I wont share that footage of the crash obviously, but I thought this pic just fits right with this story

ROY G BIV tag
Thank you for the tag, @druidx. This looks like a fun new one.
Passing the (entirely optional) tag to @rickie-the-storyteller, @on-noon, @yourlocalboredprocastinator, @ghost-town-story. @broodparasitism, @itusebastian, @void-botanist, and an open tag for anyone else.
Rules: Search your your writing for the colours of the rainbow and post the excerpt
Red: Empty Names - 14 - Down Low
When Ashan finds her some ten minutes later with a satiated smile on her face and watching the spider pull in their stygian catch from the lake, the cut on Eris’s forehead has already healed.  None of the blood painting her new armor red is hers.
Orange: The Archivist's Journal, Day 78
As long as I’m writing, I suppose I ought to take a moment to describe the landing area.  It was another jutting cliff with an arch on the end, like Siren Overlook and the one we encountered to the west.  Twice could be a coincidence, but three times and I’m convinced the whole formation is artificial, not just the arch, columns, and pool.  It wasn’t nearly so overgrown as the western dock – if anything the columns were in better shape than at Siren Overlook – but whereas Siren Overlook was mostly covered in short grass with the occasional tiny white flower or stubborn shrub this was a veritable field of bright orange flowers broken only by the water lily filled pool running down the center.
Yellow: The Archivist's Journal, Day 60
Doffing my boots and carrying them in one hand, I waded in a short ways as I walked the perimeter of the spring.  It’s curious how unafraid the fish and turtles swimming the shallows were of me.  Most I could practically get within arm’s length before they darted away, and if I stood still for a few minutes, small schools of finger-length yellow fish would congregate in my shadow.
Green: The Archivist's Journal, Day 9
Hurrying to catch up with my young companion I pushed my way through the crooked door only to nearly trip over her.  The morning light had transformed the interior space from a surreal void to an awe-inspiring expanse.  Light filled the central nave.  As green leaf-filtered streams on the high side windows.  As vertical golden rays replacing the prior night’s columns of rain from holes in the roof.  As an iridescent wave coming in from the bare remains of a curved stained glass window backlighting the statue of the Reader.  All this reflected off the broad leaf and moss-filled puddles that stretched across much of the floor, still not evaporated days later.  The side aisles were a tangle of roots from the trees above, quite possibly doing as much to hold the structure up as the pillars separating aisle from nave.
Indigo: Witch's Testament: The Fighter
Weapons are raised and aimed.  The crowd begins to back away.  Someone above cracks a joke about how they should have just skipped to waving guns around if it was going to be this easy to solve the problem.
The crowd only backs off so far though, most that made it through the outer gate are still on the inside of it.  Those still stuck beyond push one another over the wall so some might get a better view.  A lone figure left behind by the receding sea of people remains standing in the middle of the reef of broken and smoking drones, tens of meters from the protesters behind him and the forces before him.  His dark clothes are long and billowing.  His pointed hat is wide brimmed to hide his face.  His serpentine familiar, assembled from scavenged and stolen parts, coils up one arm, over his shoulders, and down the other.
Someone in the line of hired guns makes an incredulous remark under his breath about cosplaying wizards.
The man corrects him to say that he’s a witch and his voice echoes through every loudspeaker, portable device, and auditory implant in the building.
The witch strides forward, his eyes glowing indigo from the shadows beneath his hat and matched by those of his slowly uncoiling familiar.
Someone gives an order to fire and an electrified dart wizzes past the unperturbed witch.  Six more darts miss.  Rubber bullets are loaded and combat implants lock in firing trajectories.
To the eyes of the security personnel, every shot should be a hit but impossibly passes through their target and out the other side.  To the eyes of the protestors the witch is walking through a hail of bullets that are all miraculously going astray.  To the eyes of the witch, every implant-assisted firing solution coming from the soldiers before him is being outlined in indigo and nudged to exactly where he wants it.
The witch has already crossed the security line and is on the steps of the building behind them by the time someone catches on and spins around to aim and fire manually.  His familiar rears up and hisses.  The shot goes wide as the entire security contingent seizes up, spasms, and falls to the ground.
The moment the witch crosses the threshold, every light in the building goes out, every door unlocks save for those to the roof and underground garage, and every camera becomes a witch’s eye.
Violet: A Dream About Purple
We are all too busy watching the game to notice anything wrong until a third team tries to take the field.  Their uniforms are purple and their hair appears to be dyed to match.  All of them wear the same vacant smile that crawled its way out of the uncanny valley and speak with offputting singsong voices.
It is only then that we all look up and see the storm rolling in, stretching across the horizon with clouds of that same unnaturally vibrant violet.  Eerie music rides the wind ahead of the storm, heralding its imminent arrival.

Hey do you have any odd details about the humble Humboldt squid (asking cause they scare me ngl)
Alright ngl, there's absolutely nothing humble about the Humboldt squid. Also called a Jumbo Squid, they are upwards of 50kg at full size and have extremely massive eyes, as many other squids of any similar size do. I've seen a lot of different lengths recorded but I think that may have to do with whether they're including the tentacles+mantle or just the mantle.
They are commonly called Red Devils by divers not only because of the fact that their chromatophores—the cells in their skin that constrict and dilate to show different amounts of color—allow them to shift anywhere between a staunch white and a deep crimson, but also because they hunt in groups (apparently called shoals) of up to over a thousand squids at a time.
This means that if you were a tuna in the wrong place at the wrong time, you'd be torn apart by a flurry of keratinized beaks so sharp and so fast that not much would be left of you within a few seconds. They also don't hesitate to turn on each other and eat the particularly weak individuals in the shoal.
I think the coolest thing I've ever read about them though is that they use a variety of different patterns in their coloration to communicate with each other.
Tumblr media
Researchers aren't sure what they mean yet, but they use consistent patterns of shifting while hunting, seemingly as a way to let the others know where they are swimming and whether they are going to strike. Because despite being cannibals and feeding like seeming maniacs, they don't tend to damage anyone that they group doesn't deem prey already.
The only reason we think they can even accomplish this at all without as much light—because did I mention these guys hang out in depths 100s of meters deep?—is because they have the ability to lightly shed yellowish bioluminescence. Therefore, backlighting all of their patterns even in the dark ocean depths.
Spooky, scary, humbling squid

Jaheira Enters The Battle
Day 7 of the BG3 Fic Feb.
This is another SFW prompt - prompt # 5 First Time Seeing Their LI In Battle. If you enjoy show it some love on AO3.
I'm a little obsessed with Jaheira right now and I'll follow this up with a NSFW piece soon-ish.
Walking into Last Light Inn feels like entering the embrace of radiance itself, small wisps of glimmer seem to rain down inside emitting a soothing crackling sound. After her initial interrogation, Jaheira had sent the others upstairs to talk to Isobel and you had leaned over her map, taking in the precise notes she had about each sq meter of space up until the edge of the old town itself where it simply said “Do not cross!! Will be shadow food”. Soon you noticed that she wasn’t staring at the map at all anymore, but peering interestingly at you. Scanning every inch of your body as if she we’re sizing you up for battle, thinking of where you would fit in the plans she had to take Moonrise. It was overwhelming and intense, suffocating even. After the trek you had to get here you didn’t have the energy to think into much further. You glanced to the second floor and wondered how much longer it would take for the others to come back from seeing Isobel. At this point you wanted nothing more than to rest, curl up in your bed roll and sleep. It was impossible to tell how long you’d been up in this land without sun and your muscles ached more than they had since the beginning of your journey.
Tilting your head side to side you tried to stretch and shake away the feeling. There was still much to do. “There’s a room across from here with beds. Rest, we will need you for the battles to come.” you look up into her bright green eyes and see concern? Maybe. It was hard to read into her emotions in your current state. Her face was much softer than when she had you bound with vines outside the building but still her voice carries the weight of a command. Even in her caring she is in charge. Above you comes a crash and a loud scream, ‘Isobel?’ You’re not sure of the clerics voice but the sound of swords unsheathing is unmistakably your party.
You turn quickly towards the noise, your head swiveling up with a quick arc but before you can react a portion of the wood ceiling beam pins you, with a loud crash, into the floor. Your vision blurs as large masses of what appear to be winged beasts descend from the now wide open roof, the soft light of Isobel’s protection giving them a glowing backlight. One lands on top of you- it’s claws digging into your leg- breaking skin and puncturing the flesh. It’s breath is icy and acrid smelling like that of a corpse as it hunches over you. You struggle against the beam but your arms cannot reach your sword or bow as it raises its claw to strike you. Terror overtakes you as you hold your breath waiting for the impact, cursing the sleepy feeling you allowed to weaken you and put you in this situation. Overhead you hear a low, deep, growl something akin to a lion you think. Odd for such a being to make that noise you think and you curiosity causes you to risk to open your eyes. You see the fiend is being dragged backward by a large panther. Having dug into you initially it pulls large streaks of your leg with it as it goes, your cries of pain washed out by the sound of its harpy like calls. Fiends and panthers, you think, not sure if this animal is friend or foe but decide it is at least friend for now. Two flaming fists lift the beam off of you as you shimmy upward, rising to your feet, as blood streams down your open wound. You gingerly put weight on it as you watch the Panther crunch down on the neck of the beast and sling it’s head back and forth to crack it forcefully before tossing it aside like an unwanted toy.
Blood drips from its jowls as it turns its big eyes to the next fiend, launching with claws forward to pounce atop it. From the other direction another hellspawn lands trying to attack while the panther is distracted with its prey. Sneaky fuck. The panther is making good work of your unwelcome visitors so having it alive would be best for now, especially with your leg so battered. You lean back against the wall relieving your leg of your weight as you draw an arrow into your oak bow pulling it taught to your cheek. The shaft sails with deadly precision and enters the back of its targets skull with a satisfying thunk. It falls over and twitches a final limp goodbye. At least I wasn’t completely useless, you think. Taking your eyes off the panther you look around to see if there are more animals in need, human or the like. Your eyes trail over where Jaheira had been standing some minutes before and you gasp. “Hey !” you ask the Fist nearest you “Where’s Jaheira??” He shrugs noncommittally as he begins to charge upstairs to check on Isobel instead, his sword outstretched and his armor clinking loudly as he goes. You take a moment to scan the room and forgetting the wound on your leg bend down to get a better view under some rubble. White hot pain blasts through your leg causing you to keel over onto all fours. The impact leaves deep cuts in your palms from the sharpened debris and your bow scatters across the floor out of reach.
Of course you think, bad luck seems to be following me right now. The panther locks eyes with you and you know from this position you look like prey, your training as a Ranger is telling you to look as big as possible.
Shit. It’s yellowed eyes narrow as it lowers its head, blood and pieces of carcass dripping from its jowl. You try to raise your head, lift your body, something and only find another shooting pain to greet you. The panther opens its mouth moving closer to you quickly before dissolving into a radiant light. You think you are seeing the light that proceeds death and close your eyes in acceptance. It had of course, been a high probability at this point anyway. What with shadow zombies, flying ghouls, undead godlike men, Githyanki warriors, a worm in your brain and now a very large panther was going to bring its jaws down over your skull. Not the way you expected to go but it might be the best option all things considered. “Good shot on the lurker behind me! Must have been hard without your legs under you. Let me have a look at that wound.” Jaheira’s voice is warm and teasing and urges you to open your eyes. She’s there, kneeling near you her hands aglow as she presses them into the deep wounds that trail down your leg. You feel the familiar washing sensation of healing magic, but the unfamiliar feel of her warm and surprisingly soft hands pressed against your leg. She smells of rain water, for trees and at the moment blood. The lower half of her face is covered in so much blood and gore that even when she goes to wipe it with the back of her hand she is still stained with it’s touch.
Of course. She’s a druid. As a wood elf you are embarrassed at the misunderstanding but write it off as sleep delirium. Another day you’d have had your wits about you. Hell, tomorrow would be that day.
“It couldn’t keep its claws off me I guess.” You say sheepishly trying to eek a smile out and cut the tension from the closeness of your bodies. She takes the bait and gives a chuckle “I’m sure they’re not the only one giving you that problem. There, that’s the best I can do. I’m afraid you’ll have a nice collection of scars from now on, but you’ll be back to running and bow shooting in no time.” She lets her hand linger on your thigh for a moment before standing and helping you to your feet. You admire the shining new scars that trail down your thigh and lean against her. “I think they look quite good on me. What do you think?” She looks down and then up into your eyes. “My opinion doesn’t matter in this case, ask someone else to inspect you, Cub.” She holds your arm tight as you both head up the stairs
“I am, far older than you, hatchling.” You toss the phrase at her in jest. “Plus you’re sure to give me an honest answer. It is your way, or your oath or something you Harpers believe in.” She gives another full laugh tossing her head back and shaking you along with her. “Hatchling is it? I’ll go with High Harper from such a smart mouth. I have taken no oath to be truthful but have no reason to lie either- they look good on you, great even. The mark of a true warrior. Next battle though, try to stay off your rear end for most of it. You let an old woman out fight you.” As she speaks you notice a small piece of carcass that she missed hanging limply from her red soaked chin. You pause your steps bringing her to a stop to look at you “Are you in pain?” She asks her eyes filled with concern looking down at your leg. You lift your free hand to the side of her chin and wipe it away with a soft touch, her face remains stoic but she blushes at the tips of her ears and pulls away. Already poised to make a joke it seems she pokes at you a bit “With all this rubble around us you’re worried about a tiny bit of flesh? I make quite a mess in battle, if you are this picky you will be cleaning for days.” There is a pause and she mutters in an uncharacteristically soft voice “But I thank you.”

Had another weird dream
First part was irrelevant and would slightly dox me, so leaving it out.
But then the second part was weird, because I was a morph ball, stuck in some sort of cramped like, computer rewiring/electrical breaker room with like, several layers of ice on the non-electronic walls. I bombed out a passage through some of the ice and wound up in a parallel room with a similar setup, and from there discovered a third one another couple meters past that. But then, on bombing out my third tunnel out of that room, I discovered that the far end was blocked by a different type of material, and there were a bunch of multicolored switches and lights sticking out of the ice in here.
I switched out of Morph Ball form (and for some reason was Me, not Samus) and crawled in for a closer look, only for like, a spotify interface to pop up in the corner of my vision? It pulled up a song called "Spin Cycle" which had a ton of weird breaks in the like, progress/time bar, and was done by Cryoshell of all people? It was on apparently an entire Metroid-themed album they had done, with the cover art being Samus in her Zero Suit, and the infant Metroid, having been blown out into the vaccuum of space (somehow looking perfectly fine though) from a big space station looming in the background, big spotlights from the hull backlighting them and the metal debris around them.
Anyway, it seemed most of the other songs on the album were more conventional lyrical songs, but Spin Cycle was special in that every couple of lines, for a moment two of the lights in the tunnel I was in would suddenly light up, and I'd have to choose one of the adjoining switches to flick before they went out again. If I missed the window, that part of the song would just loop again (thus the name, I presume) but if I managed to get it, the song would progress to a different set of lines with its own pair of lights and switches at the end. Like a choose-your-own-adventure book but for a song.
According to the comments, (because for some reason in my dream, Spotify now had a youtube-style comments section for songs) there was no way to actually get the song in one-to-one order to how the progress bar ordered each section, much like a choose-your-own-adventure book, no matter which permutation of switches was flicked, it would be skipping back and forth a bunch.
And then someone else pointed out that like, hidden in the background music with each cycling pair of lines, there was a distorted and slowed voice saying a single word each time, along with listing a bunch of permutations of the song they had gone through and thus different orders for those hidden words, which sometimes formed an almost coherent sentence, and sometimes was pure garbled nonsense.
There was another comment saying that this song singlehandedly fixed Other M and Nintendo should have gone with Cryoshell's vision for the game from the start, but I can't for the life of me remember any of the actual lyrics so just gonna take their word for it lol.
Also, after flicking all the switches on and completing the song, the wall at the end of the tunnel opened, and I emerged, for some reason, into what I can only describe as a neon-cyberpunk-aesthetic farmer's market.
And then I woke up.

Gorges du Fier, France
Tumblr media
Today, we are leaving for one of the most unmissable sites in Haute-Savoie: the Gorges du Fier which, in our image, are immobilized by the striking winter. Resulting from the millennial erosion of water on the rock, the Fier runs through a narrow passage between two steep walls almost 50 metres high. It took no less than 20,000 years to achieve the result we know today. The places, listed since 1943, attract many nature lovers and hikers. The visit to the gorges remains relatively easy because half of it takes place on secure footbridges located about 25 meters from the bed of the torrent.
In addition to the view, the humid atmosphere, the play of light and backlighting on the mossy stones and the sound of the torrent below, this visit is also an opportunity for visitors to admire the rocks sculpted by Mother Nature. Incredible potholes and other geological features line the route and remind us of the power of water.

What does a divers watch do?
A diver’s watch is a device that allows divers to have an easy time in the water. A type of wristwatch, this timepiece is designed for use in water and therefore has limited or even no display on the outside of the case. It can be used for diving and has features like an accurate pressure sensor, backlight, timer, and stopwatch. Such diver’s watches don't need batteries to run; they are powered by a built-in quartz movement. The cost varies significantly because you can choose which style of watch you want and/or how much detail you want with its face design.
Tumblr media
Invicta Divers watches have a rubber strap that is designed to be long-lasting. A diver must have a good timepiece with them underwater to help them navigate, record their diving activities, and link up with other divers or support teams on the surface. This watch must be water resistant so it can be worn when making an underwater dive. Such watches typically come in analog format but can also come in digital format.
A good orient diver's watch will allow you to have time in the water, and you can use the timer and the stopwatch to keep track of the amount of time you have spent underwater. A lot of divers use these watches to keep track of how deep they are when they dive, so it helps them remember not to get too far down. You can also use the measure depth feature in order to make sure that you are getting close enough to the bottom. This is why a lot of people say that a diver’s watch is one of the best timepieces because you can use it in recreational water sports and rescue work by scuba diving.
Users of the Seiko diver's watch can find the display in a wide variety of designs, including digital, analog, and others. Some divers' watches include more than one display method. For example, they may have a digital screen along with an analog hand on another. Even though these displays seem to be similar when looking at them beforehand, they might have slight differences when diving underwater and doing things like timing or measuring depth.
No matter which you choose, you should go for a design that is easy to operate and clean. Also, look for a model which has strong water resistance capabilities so it can withstand attacks from water pressure as well as all other kinds of water environment challenges and threats e.g. saltwater, etc.
When it comes to the actual water resistance capabilities, this is where you need to look for a "divers watch" that has a rating of at least 100 meters. With this level of water resistance, you can be sure that it will perform well even in the most challenging environments and scenarios.
