Nah man because what the hell was this?

First of all, I love how these panels establish a clear difference between Hawks looking at Dabi and Hawks looking at Dabi. In the scene from 240, Hawks is looking at Dabi as he's thinking about completing his mission and contacting Endeavor for backup. Like dude? You're literally staring into Dabi's eyes and thinking about Endeavor and it never crossed your mind that they have the same eyes? Chapter 267 drives this point even further by putting a close-up of Dabi's eye after he reveals his identity to Hawks. You can clearly see Hawks having an "oh shit" moment after the reveal as he truly looks at Dabi and realizes that this one piece of crucial information has been right in his face the whole time.

And second of all, this just highlights how Dabi truly is Hawks' downfall during the raid.

The whole point of Hawks' mission was to gain intel on the League so that the heroes don't make any hasty decisions and have the upper hand in apprehending the villains for good. The fact that the HPSC president specifically told Hawks "we severely underestimated the enemy" and yet he did the same exact thing is, quite frankly, hilarious.

And in retrospect, given the knowledge that we have on Dabi's past from chapter 350, Hawks could have figured out who was behind the nomu, where they were kept, and so many other things about AFO's plan for a successor if he had paid more attention to Dabi.

Caleb out here with the Charisma stat of 16 and all the Honeypot training, I firmly believe in his ability to rizz.

Oh I do think I remember Liam alluding to Caleb's high Charisma being used in his Volstrucker training, and that just breaks my heart.

I do think that's part of why I find the thought of Caleb charming Molly/King so sweet, because we know it's genuine. Molly already saw Caleb when he was at his lowest, when he was at his most closed off and haunted. So it's little things, like the Nein telling Caleb to bathe, and Molly just smiling and saying, "I'm not bothered." And "Let a man be eccentric," when the others try to convince Caleb to buy new clothes.

It's so easy I think, to fall for Caleb when he's using his Charisma to its full extent--when he wants something from somebody, or has some ulterior motive. So it's very sweet to me, that Molly cared for Caleb from the start, when he tried so hard to push people away, deliberately tried to make himself as distant and defeated as possible. "How do you stay dirty all of the time?" "Most of the time I'm trying to. People don't pay attention to beggars so much."

So the thought that Molly has already seen Caleb when he was still on the run and in hiding, too terrified to let anyone get close--the fact that Caleb has nothing to gain by using his Charisma to try and maniplate Molly--"I should go right now...Look at this one. He's like a walking rainbow, what is this? Why are you with him? It makes no sense. He's a circus performer, he's not going to help you." It makes the way Molly falls for him so easily just feel so sweet and genuine. Molly looking at someone who believes he's beyond salvation, yet Mollymauk sees, "Caleb. Softness and light--"

So I do think it would maybe take Molly by surprise--but be a very pleasant one--if Caleb let himself be more forward, used that high Charisma to its full effect. It feels like we get a glimpse of that at the end of C2, and it's so sweet and silly and playful, I just love it. Something about Caleb being open enough to let others into his heart again, seeing Tealeaf's unabashed teasing and warmth and happily respond in kind. The way Liam literally describes King's flirting as, "Perfect," when the Circus Man and Magic Man say goodbye.

Just...Caleb knowing exactly what to say to get King/Molly wrapped around his finger, and absolutely reveling in the attention. The two of them trusting each other enough to know it's not just a game--

theres something so odd about how team skull is characterized in the anime. like. in the games theyre a nuisance with a sad backstory to them and they take it out through rage, especially guzma. them teaming up with the aether foundation comes across as lusamine manipulating guzma tbh, like hes just a lackey to her

and then in the anime they water down how gross aether was by limiting the crimes to just faba being a dick instead of the entire foundation being complicit, and in return team skull has their backstory ignored for the most part and theyre perfectly willing to gang up on and hurt a six year old cause she told them not to be mean. like yes they were villains in the game but that just feels weird for them

Just thinking of Krennic and Partagaz talking about Ronan and Dedra, their high achieving favourites who rose from nothing. Krennic makes a big show of how he can drink anyone under the table if he wants to. Partagaz lies that he only drinks on special occasions and will do his best to keep up. After the same amount of drinks, Krennic is nicely drunk and Partagaz is practically sober.

They both think they have the upper hand over the other. They both agree The Empire is best served by people from their kind of background, and that they have a duty to elevate others to at least their level.

He may have a rich aristocratic accent and a supremely self-confident bearing, but Partagaz is from the same lower levels that Krennic and Dedra and Ronan and a handful of other high ranking Imperials clawed their way up from.
