baek kyung gains awareness and has to start dealing with his anger issues and his f'ed up family situation. like, yeah he's an asshole but he's not an ASSHOLE.

and he's still a little mean and a little bitter, but he starts finding joy in the little things and he and dan oh slowly start to become friends who, at first, spite the writer because their roles suck and slowly develop a deeper friendship and!!

kyung slowly starts falling for her but the story doesn't change.

and kyung and dan oh aren't hanging out all the time - he has to deal with do hwa gaining awareness and wanting to hang out all the time w/o their artificial friendship and dan oh is on a MISSION, okay, but kyung just doesn't have the energy to fight one more person, especially a person he can't see. he already has to deal with his father and himself.

but then ! they discover haru.

And kyung is angrier than he's ever been because haru is nice but haru doesn't take his shit. he looks him in his face and tells him not to break the window because it might hurt and fuck that asshole! because why does he care?? no one has ever told him not to do something because it might hurt him. his father would've told him he deserves to be in pain for fucking up the business deal.

so yeah, kyung hates him. especially when he sees dan oh falling for him and it sucks ! it sucks that he never really had a chance with her because he was forced to be a bigger asshole than he actually was BUT THEN.

story story story, yada yada yada, haru and kyung and dan oh end up in a happy trio. two sunshines/two sunshine protectors and one asshole all sitting in a tree happily eating sandwiches :)

Extraordinary You

Come maratonarsi una serie in 3 giorni.

Mado' Extraordinary You mi ha letteralmente rapita. Sequestrata. Merito di una trama originale, un ottima fotografia, buon cast, eccellenti personaggi quasi tutti, ma soprattutto grazie all'idea di base e come è stata portata su schermo. Un applauso davvero.

La serie parte benissimo, in modo originale, divertente e interessante con gli episodi che scorrono via uno dietro l'altro. Andando avanti con la storia però, per me è leggermente calato: si perde la leggerezza ed il divertimento per lasciare spazio al dramma e alle situazioni serie.

I due protagonisti della storia, che inizialmente mi piacevano molto, mano a mano sono sempre più scesi nel mio personale indice di gradimento trovandomi dunque a fare il tifo e sentirmi emotivamente investita con i personaggi secondari piuttosto che quelli principali.

La storia d'amore parte in modo carino, costruito e romantico. Le loro scene sono super sentimentali, fatte benissimo e senti l'amore a 10 kilometri di distanza. Tuttavia andando avanti con la storia, la loro relazione mi ha un po' annoiata, trovandola ripetitiva, troppo perfetta e smielosa per i miei gusti. Tanto che mi sono concentrata su tutt'altro.

Ma oh, se me la sono maratonata in pochi giorni un motivo c'è: poiché scrivere commenti sensati e lineari non è da me, andrò per punti:

L'idea dell'essere dentro ad un fumetto non è una novità nel panorama televisivo. Ma ho trovato super interessante sia come hanno trattato il concetto di "palcoscenico " e "ombra" sia come i personaggi prendessero coscienza di se stessi, portando poi su schermo, battaglie emotive sulla loro esistenza e identità. E' stato molto piacevole vedere i personaggi, uno ad uno, capire di essere personaggi di un fumetto e vederli relazionarsi con questo. Tutta la parte circa il fumetto, le regole che lo disciplinano, i clichè dei storie romantiche, le bizze dello scrittore... questa è stata forse la parte che mi ha coinvolto di più.

Mi chiedevo per quale motivo lo scrittore avesse fatto un manga così banale. Cioè, la trama è Hana Yori Dango, più o meno. XD Persino i personaggi potevano capire quale scena sarebbe andata sul palcoscenico! Forse la storia del fumetto era così scontata proprio perché non era la parte importante della storia. In tal modo la serie si è concentrata sulla storia degli altri personaggi permettendo di non perdere minutaggio su una trama così ovvia, che era scritta nelle stelle.

Ho amato anche il concetto sull'essere protagonisti della propria storia. Quando si scopre di essere degli extra si può decidere di diventare i primi attori del proprio racconto personale. Gli extra non possono essere i main lead del fumetto...ma possono esserlo della loro storia. E' un bel significato.

Ho rivalutato tantissimo la protagonista del fumetto. La Cenerella che impersonava la classica protagonista femminile da shojo ma che alla fine si rivela una piccola mafiosa badass quanto basta per farsi valere e amare da me. Carinissima anche la sua relazione con Do Hwa, molto naturale e romantica.

Interessante anche il concetto dello stare sul palcoscenico ed essere costretti a recitare una parte che non si vuole. Finché i personaggi non hanno coscienza non c'è problema nello stare sul palco. Ma una volta capito di essere dentro ad un fumetto è frustrante fare e dire cose che non pensi e non vuoi solo perché qualcuno ha deciso così. Credo che la serie abbia reso in modo ottimale questo tema visto che ho percepito davvero tanta frustrazione da parte dei characters consapevoli nelle loro scene sul palcoscenico.

Tornando a Lee Do Hwa è stato uno dei miei personaggi preferiti. Lo scrittore voleva caratterizzarlo come un clichè del second lead bello, gentile, serio, pacato ecc ecc.. ma nella realtà era adorabilmente scemo. Ho amato i suoi dialoghi e la sua personalità divertente e brillante nonché il suo rapporto con la Dan Oh: insieme erano spassosi!

La serie mischia momenti intensi e tristi con scene più divertenti e comiche - soprattutto all'inizio - che spezzano la tensione e alleggeriscono la storia. Ritengo che su questo frangente abbiano fatto un bel lavoro anche se sul finale si perde la spensieratezza e divertimento per affogare in un mare di serietà.

Per quanto riguarda Dan Oh dunque, mi è piaciuta molto inizialmente. Ho adorato la sua personalità vivace e certi suoi commenti irriverenti. Vederla impazzire per la scoperta di essere in un fumetto mi ha fatto morire dalle risate più e più volte. Ho ammirato la sua determinazione e testardaggine nel voler cambiare il proprio destino anche quando le dicevano di non farlo. Ma...ma...ma poi s'innamora. Da quando inizia la sua storia con Haru il suo personaggio mi è lentamente scivolato nella noia poiché sembrava girasse unicamente intorno ad protagonista maschile. Voleva cambiare la sua impostazione per se stessa, per la sua identità, per autodeterminarsi. Ed invece mi è sembrato che alla fine volesse cambiarla solo per stare con Haru. D'altra parte però non mi sento di essere troppo cattiva con lei: è la sua prima cotta, il suo primo amore. E' normale che tutto ad un certo punto. giri attorno a questo.

Chi invece ho avuto difficoltà a mandare giù è stato proprio Haru. Chiariamoci, Haru è perfetto: bello, intelligente, gentile, premuroso, comprensivo, presente, simpatico, romantico...è perfetto. Troppo perfetto per i miei gusti. Il protagonista maschile di questa storia non pare abbia difetti, zone grigie o d'ombra. E per questo, mentre inizialmente mi incuriosiva il suo personaggio, piano piano mi ha stancato.

E questo si è poi riflettuto sulla storia d'amore. Ho provato davvero tanto a farmela piacere ma... nada. Non ho mai sentito il click, l'investimento emotivo. Poiché erano perfetti assieme e grondavano miele fuso non c'è mai stato conflitto, tensione, pepe nella loro storia d'amore. Tanto che i classici impedimenti sono stati tutti esterni alla coppia: perdita di memoria, cancellazione del personaggio ecc ecc.. Io ovviamente sono contenta per Haru e Dan Oh: buon per loro che hanno trovato l'amore! Ma ahimè non credo che vinceranno mai nella mia personale classifica delle coppie preferite.

Chi invece vincerà tutto è probabilmente Baek Kyung. Già l'anno scorso Lee Jae Wook era arrivato ad un passo dal vincere il premio " attore migliore dell'anno". Questa volta punta decisamente alla vittoria grazie ad una recitazione fantastica. Non mentirò: Baek è stato uno dei motivi che mi ha dato la forza di finire la serie. Ad una certa mi sono resa conto che sì, volevo sapere come sarebbe finita la serie...ma ancor di più ero curiosa di vedere quale piega avrebbe preso la sua storia.

La sua caratterizzazione e storia le ho trovate le più interessanti di tutte, così come il suo splendido arco di redenzione nel finale. Ho sofferto parecchio nel rendermi conto che alla fine Baek Kyung sarebbe rimasto da solo - ok ho pianto nelle sue scene finali - più che altro perché come da sottotitolo di questo commento, era diventato il mio personaggio principale. E vedere il "tuo lead" che capisce di aver sbagliato, chiedere scusa, comprendere di essere stato uno stronzo bastardo ed essere arrivato tardi alla realizzazione e affrontare un arco di redenzione ma alla fine non ottenere il lieto fine, ti fa un po' male. Se Baek fosse stato il protagonista di un altra serie probabilmente avrebbe ottenuto di più. Ma non lo è e va bene così. Sono già contenta che abbia avuto il suo riscatto...anche perché ne ha parecchie da farsi perdonare. Non scordo quanto a trattato a merda la sua fidanzata sia sul palcoscenico che nell'ombra! Un vero stronzo! E spero davvero, come gli dice Dan Oh, che alla fine trovi il vero se stesso e sia felice. <3 Tra l'altro adoravo le scene di Dan Oh e Beak Kyung da bambini: erano tenerissimi!

Conclusione: drama da vedere assolutamente anche solo per l'idea dell'essere parte di un manga e contemplare come si muovono i personaggi dentro a esso. A me la storia d'amore non è piaciuta ma magari farà innamorare altre persone che la adoreranno. Quindi consigliato per chi cerca storie d'amore. E poi c'è Lee Jae Wook in tutta la sua gloria...cioè che vuoi di più?!

This scene in Ep 8 of Extraordinary You just makes me so sad but it's also one of the best examples I've seen of cycles of violence.

Baek Kyung's father hits him for not being nice enough to Dan-oh:

I love Baek Kyung's storyline. I love the excellent use of explain but not excuse.

Como dito já algumas vezes, esse evento foi planejado como um especial, onde juntamos o pedidos de alguns players junto do feedback e solicitações de vários de vocês sobre outros eventos que fizemos anteriormente, além, também, de tentar trazer uma solução pro problema que estava tendo no momento atual.

Sempre estamos abertas a feedback e saber o que agrada vocês ou não é de EXTREMA importância pra nós sabermos o que precisamos melhorar, o que podemos repetir ou o que devemos deixar de lado. Então, dessa vez, diferente do formulário que já temos de feedback da comunidade em um geral, resolvemos montar um específico pra esse tipo de evento, que decidimos por como OBRIGATÓRIO a resposta para todos os >players<.

Porque nós sabemos que há sim, players que não dão a opinião por timidez ou algo do gênero, mas queremos que vocês compreendam a importância que é fazer isso. Nós PRECISAMOS saber a opinião de todos pra podermos coletar uma média e conseguirmos decidir como serão os futuros eventos da comunidade de modo que agrade a maioria e possamos, também, tentar adaptar algo pra chegar no gosto dos demais e, assim, todo mundo conseguir ficar satisfeito.

Nós daremos um mês inteiro pra vocês poderem responder, ficaremos de olho nos nomes, quem faltar, iremos atrás e, se mesmo assim não responder, aplicaremos o strike.

Ini agak random sih, tapi aku mau nulis aja soal drama ending 2125 yang kata orang menyesakkan dada.

For those who spend a long period of time tidak bisa melupakan kisah cinta pertama, buat aku sih ini make sense banget. Orang yang paling kita anggap berarti gak berarti dia akan ada dalam hidup kita, dia ada dalam perubahan kita menjadi manusia yang lebih baik tapi gak selalu berakhir sesuai dengan harapan kita. Waktu nonton endingnya aku senyum sendiri sambil bilang, "Saatnya aku bahagia dan terima kasih."

Dia tetap jadi bagian lembaran hariku dulu dan aku cukupkan di sana.

Akhirnya, aku ikhlaskan doaku yang baik saja, suami yang bertakwa, yang tampan kayak Do Kyung Soo, berakhlak baik, saleh, pintar, dan kaya."

Doanya masih begitu sampai sekarang, entah nanti bertransformasi lagi jadi seperti apa.

Intinya bener kok akhirnya begitu, bagi yang sudah melewati banyak masa dan sudah dalam kondisi memilih bahagia menerima kenyataan. Akhirnya Na Hee Do dan Baek Yi Jin itu udah paling bener. We were there and we keep going leaving all behind. Dia istimewa saat itu, dan tetap istimewa untuk masa itu, saat ini ya pilihan Allah yang senantiasa membahagiakan kita. Seseorang yang cukup membuat kita tersenyum saat mengenang masa lalu.

[ Review Drakor 2) Taxi Driver

woaaa, adalah kata setelah drama Taxi Driver tamat. Btw, aku akan menunggu season 2 yang rencananya akan tayang pada tahun 2023. Can't wait pengen ketemu si supir taksi lagi :D

Taxi Driver ini bercerita tentang Rainbow Taxi perusahan taksi tak biasa ini menjalankan misi balas dendam untuk para klien dari taksi mewah.

Pas awal nonton, aku beneran ragu, penuh keragu-raguan. Apakah Kim Do Ki orang jahat? Apakah Pak Jang beneran memaafkan pembunuh ortunya? Kayak semua pemain tuh abu-abu, belum jelas tokoh baik jahatnya. Tapi, lama-lama bisa ngerti pemikiran dari masing-masing pemain.

Dari Geng Taksi mewah, kita bisa belajar bahwa tentu balas dendam hanya akan melahirkan balas dendam lainnya. Cuman salut banget, mereka bisa membalaskan amarah orang lain meskipun bisa jadi nyawa mereka terancam. Mungkin, karena mereka memiliki masa lalunya yang sama-sama menyakitkan, kehilangan orang tersayang akibat ketidakadila , jadi mereka bisa relate.

Selain itu, drama ini kayak menekankan betapa kerennya geng Taksi Mewah dalam menyelidiki pelaku kejahatan. Sat set sat set banget dah, gercep to the one! Bahkan kadang jaksa kalah gercep menangkap penjahat.

Dan yang paling tersiksa kayakya Kim Do Ki deh, adegan laganya gak pernah keok tapi malah berakhir di rumah sakit. Mau dihajar, di tusuk pun dia tetap bangkit. Ada ya orang kayak gitu di rl?

Lalu, geng taksi mewah lainnya juga bener2 punya peran masing-masing. Ahn Go Eun si ahli IT yang sagala tau, Choi Kyung Koo dan Park Jin Eon meskipun kocak tapi mereka punya pangabisa tentang mesin. Pak Jang Sung Chul yang jadi otak dan ahli strategi. Lalu, jaksa Kang Hana, kita butuh jaksa yang kayak gini terutama di negeri wakanda haha

Overall, suka banget sama drama ini. Kita kayak gabisa diajak berhenti degdegan, selalu ada plot twist apalagi lewat cerita para klien Taksi Mewah. Menurutku, kasus yang paling serem yaitu U Data, ngeri kalau ada aslinya. Terus jangan lupa Baek Sung Mi, si berbahaya.

Terus penjahat paling kasihan, si cewek pelabuhan tukang nipu. Emang relate banget penipuan telepon dan pasti uangnya ga akan balik lagi, tapi rasa bapernya ke Kim Do Ki bikin gue terenyuh. Akhirnya ada cowok yang buat dia secure dan PD, eh ujung-ujungnya ditipu juga. Tukang tipu emang harus ditipu lagi biar kerasa syakitnya.

Lalu menuju ending, tambah degdegan ngeliat perjuangan geng taksi mewah. Orang jahat emang kudu dibalas dengan jahat pula, tapi kita tetap butuh hukum, gak bisa main hakim sendiri.

Emang dari awal, drama ini berfokus ke Geng Taksi Mewah, tapi ada Jaksa yang jadi penyeimbang. Bahwa meskipun niat kamu baik pengen memberantas orang jahat, tapi kalau caranya salah kamu bisa jadi penjahatnya. Dan endingnya bener2 keinginanku banget, semua menyatu padu buat nargetin hal yang sama.

Meskipun gada romance tapi kusuka banget chemistry mereka semua. Kerasa banget kekeluargaannya, partner kerjanya. But, ada beberapa produk iklan yang ganggu banget menurutku. Jadi, harus lebih smooth lagu dah ngiklaninnya.

there's many dramas that have left lasting impressions on me and that I love however extraordinary you is in a league of its own. like, I truly adore that show and always go back to it. danoh and haru's relationship is just so pure. they themselves are so pure and warm and in love. I love their love, this show and the characters so much.

So this story is about Eun Dan Oh, an 18 year old highschool student with heart problems. One day, she became aware of herself and found out that she was just a character in a comic book. What's worst is that she's not the female lead but just an extra with a set-up. Her role is to be the bridge between the two main leads and the fiancée of Baek Kyung who she have unrequited love for 10 years. She decided to escape what the writer intends for her future and to create her own fate. In the end she found out that her number 13 classmate can change her stage. In stage, that's where happens what the writer wants to show in the story, while the shadow is like the behind the scenes. Only those characters who are aware of theirselves can remember what happened on the shadow. When Dan Oh saw the storyboard that she would be on an accident, she immediately decided to change it. She tried to put helmets and some sort of protection, but, she was a character with set - up. So the when the stage happens, all of her prepared measures are gone and she cannot move on her own. Luckily her 13th classmate was there to save her. Eventually, she named him Haru. From Haru's perspective, he didn't know where he begin. All he know is that his eyes is all on Dan Oh. Like he was always prepared to protect her. His first word was her name. He didn't even know his own name. Haru is a namesless extra so he can freely move on his own. He can move on the stage since the writer is not "seeing" him. Dan Oh tried a lot of things to change her fate so she would have not died in the end.

In this drama, there was two manhwas that was involve. First, they show the "Secret" where Joo Da and Namjoo is the lead and Do Hwa is the supporting character. This is where the whole story currently set - up. The "Secret" here is that Namjoo loves Joo Da.

Second is the "Trumpet Creeper" which sets on a historical time. The main lead on this story is Dan Oh, Haru and Baek Kyung.

The drama actually became more interesting when they showed this manhwa on the storyline. Everything on this part is so great!!! The costume, the storyline and the plot twist! Hope they made a mini drama centering the "Trumpet Creeper". I love how they put the flashbacks of this story. And at first, I though only Haru was aware of himself. It's good to think that Dan Oh was also aware of herself and she truly loves Haru. Sadly, they are the main characters. They cannot escape what the writer wants.  I cried so much when Dan Oh was stabbed and Haru keep on calling her "my lady" then her name before she died.  AND THE PROMISE HARU MADE AT THE LAST PART. Their story parallel with "Secret" because the writer reused their characters but it feels like they are reincarnated as highschool students. IT WAS GREAT. Haru will always find Dan Oh and they are each other’s beginning and fate.

Parallel of Secret and Trumpet Creeper:

I would like to express my love to this lovely trio: The Three Musketeer who wants to change their stage and fate.

Sadly, since Haru keep on changing the stage, and he was just a nameless extra, he was deleted first when the writer was about to wrapped up the whole story. He was not on the last stage. The last stage was them graduating. Dan Oh put Haru's name on her diploma like she's remembering him. She wrote a letter on his desk just like what he did on hers. And in the end, Dan Oh decieded to visit the 300 years old oak tree. She found the last gift from Haru. Drawings of them together. Then cut.

The drama moves on the last part. It was another manhwa that sets in college. Dan Oh is just a nameless extra here and it seems that Saemi is the female lead. The gangsters and bitches in the Secret manhwa is now the nerds and the nerds is now the gangsters. Namjoo is now the worst dresser and opposite on Secret where he was love by everyone, here, they don't like him. But, Namjoo still like strawberries. I read somewhere that Baek Kyung, Joo Da and Do Hwa is not part of this manhwa because they already know the Secret. That's why the writer put them on sleep.

Then, when Dan Oh was in the library, they keep on showing the back of a man that was look like Haru. But him and Dan Oh keep on avoiding each other. Then, Dan Oh pass by to a wall with frames of artwork. There, Haru's drawing was hung. Then, she heard Saemis and her friends saying about the 300th birthday of the tree (same line in Secret). So, Dan Oh went to the tree. When she was walking on the stairs, Haru pass by. But she didn't see him. A blackhole appeared and it seems like the blackhole connects the different manhwas. When Dan Oh reached the tree she waited there. But nothing comes up so she just left. While walking, she suddenly remembered her memories of Haru so she came back again to the tree. She found Haru there but it seems like Haru doesn't remember her so she just walk away. But Haru followed her and back hug her. Finally, they are together!!! And they are both nameless character so now they are free and can do whatever what they want.

To ADD: FACTS I FOUND OUT ABOUT THE STORY!!

The amulet connects the Trumpet Creeper and Secret while the drawing of Haru was the connection between Secret and the new manhwa.

Both Haru and Dan Oh remembered what happened in Trumpet Creeper because the both lose their self awareness and became aware of it again in Secret. Kyung only remembered that he killed Dan Oh.

Haru probably the one who buried the amulet in Dan Oh’s quarters when she died in Trumpet Creeper. It is the same place where Dan Oh and Haru found the amulet in Secret.

The amulet’s string became black in Secret while it is green in Trumpet Creeper. It’s because it was already covered with Dan Oh’s blood.

There’s a korean folklore about the Trumpet Creeper. It’s about the court lady who loves the king but the king did not return her love. When she passed away, vines creep into her quarters signifying that she’s waiting for the king. The court lady’s name in Sohwa. (I though at first that it is the same name as Dried Squid Fairy’s gf).

This drama was aired last 2019 and has 32 episodes-30mins each. And honestly, I don't know what I'm doing that time and why I did not watch this drama. THIS IS SO GOOD!!!!! I love every bit of it and it seems like it will took me long before I can finally move on. Rowoon and Hye Yoon is now on both historical drama. And I keep on thinking of Haru and Dan Oh. :<
