1, 2, 6, 19, 23 for the ask game☺️
hi dear!
1. favorite artist(s) outside of kpop? oof, that's hard. i'm a HUUUUGE normani fan. i'm also a big fan of tinashe, i think the k-pop industry should thank her. victoria monet, bree runway, chloe bailey, keke palmer, lauren jauregui, beyoncé, kehlani, pvris. i listen to many tbh, but definitely can call myself a full on fan of normani and tinashe, as in i definitely know their entire discography! i also listen to some non k-pop bands here and there.
2. top three ults/ult groups?
#1 shinee's jonghyun - he's like, the #1 in my heart, i'm never leaving this his side, he's my place of comfort, solace and happiness, my biggest inspiration both personally and musically, since i'm also an aspiring artist, i love him so much)
#2 pentagon's changgu - he's such a big inspiration too. everything he puts his mind to, he'll achieve it. also, i think he's one of the most down to earth people i 'know', he's so visibly tenderhearted and human
#3 pentagon's shinwon - i always say this but he is so bestfriend shaped, he literally just feels like some guy who happened to become famous. everything about him is so real and friendly. his behavior, his radio show, his interests, his personality <3
the top3 groups for me are shinee, pentagon and a.c.e/bvndit. i only truly keep up on a closer and personal level with the first two though.
6. is there a group that you want to get into? not really, not that i can think of! i like discovering new music and casually listen to a lot of artists, but i find that i just cannot click or focus on anyone else other than pentagon and shinee;;
19. last song you listened to? i was listening to shinwon's radio show, he played 'the weekend' by bibi and 88rising! i love this song.
23. what is your love language? my love language is being there for someone. i just love listening to people and showing little gestures of affection, even silently. i'm not too into material things like gifts and sometimes i'm not physically affectionate - sometimes others don't understand me or think i'm cold because i don't show my love directly, but i'm always very attentive of them and how they're feeling. ig my love language is simply giving care and attention.
send me asks!!

THE MET GALA
It’s on all of our minds.
Two days have passed and our feeds are filled with photos, opinions, and parodies of the Met Gala.
From Kylie Jenner to Elon Musk, everyone is talking about the outfits worn and the celebrities invited.
Millions of questions about who will sit where, when we will see the inside of this year’s bathroom, and why so much neon?
We all want to go, whether to watch or walk the famous stairs of the Met. We wonder why Anna Wintour rebels against her own theme every single year.
Where was Taylor Swift? Harry Styles? Timothee Chalamet?
All I want to get my hands on is the list of people invited, who rejected the invitation?
There were a lot of shapes on the carpet this year. The classic triangle; Hailey, Shawn, and Camilla. A hexagon; Phoebe, Pete, Kaia, Jacob, Austin, and Vanessa. Don’t forget whatever shape Chlöe Bailey’s dress was.
Lenny Kravitz killed the carpet and the stage, of course. Nobody was surprised when he looked better than half the people there, as the man was a designer named Cinna in another life.
Now the big question. Why does nobody listen to the theme?
The biggest controversy surrounding this year’s Met Gala theme, “Gilded Glamour”, (and other themes, we are not forgetting the disaster that was punk) was that there were very few people on theme.
I am here to discuss and squash some of these ridiculous opinions that have been circulating TikTok.
UNLESS you are an A-List celebrity, you will most likely not argue when a designer brand comes to you offering to dress you. So, if said designer brand doesn’t care about the theme and puts you in a 1920′s inspired outfit, you probably wouldn’t disagree.
BUT, if you are an A-Lister, you would have tons of designer brands begging to dress you, and that is where you have way more creative control.
So instead of screaming at Sebastian Stan and Maude Apatow, maybe push your attention to Khloe Kardashian, Dakota Johnson, and Ryan Reynolds.
The Kylie Jenner dilemma.
From the rumors I have heard, the outfit she wore was designed by the late Virgil Abloh. This being said, was it on theme? No. Should people be completely trashing it? Hell no.
Neon colors?
Sebastian Stan, Glenn Close, and Gwen Stefani are just three victims of the horror that is neon. While Sebastian looked rather gorgeous in his suit, people wondered how it fit the theme. But apparently magenta was trending during the gilded age. If they had made the suit less modernized, it would’ve probably pleased more people.
Recently the Met Gala has been taken over by influencers. Emma Chamberlain, Olivia Rodrigo, and Addison Rae. Emma Chamberlain is someone who worked her way up to being invited to the Met Gala, and rightfully so. Olivia Rodrigo is questionable, this was her second time attending and her second time failing to fit the theme. Finally, Addison Rae, who is probably one of the most controversial invitees, next to Elon Musk. Not only does it make zero sense for her to be invited, but she practically dressed as a disco ball.
Kim Kardashian.
Kim Kardashian looked amazing in Marilyn Monroe’s dress, but there are many controversies surrounding the attire. One, it’s the completely wrong era. Two, Kim K is now the last person to have worn it. Three, it kind of fucks with history. A dress which was once remembered as Marilyn’s from when she sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to President JFK, is now remembered as Kim’s Met Gala dress.
The woman who outdressed A-Listers.
Genesis Suero, former Miss NY USA winner, and current news anchor for Telemundo, caught everybody’s eye on Monday night. Wearing a stunning princess gown from Lucia Rodriguez, she was the hero we needed to save the theme.
Finishing off strong, Blake Lively.
Blake co-chaired and served at the Met Gala, wearing one of the most gorgeous dresses which changed before our eyes from copper to teal, all while her husband adored her from the stairs. An ode to many buildings and statues in New York, including the Statue of Liberty. This is why I will stan Blake for the rest of my life.
The Met Gala is always my favorite time of year, but especially when it lands on my birthday. So Happy Birthday to me, Donatella Versace, and the Met Gala, which served some of the best and worst looks yet!

bullshit
i am really thankful for this site. i know there are other places i could spill my shit but here we are. i feel like i’m not going to get back into writing my feelings so why not blog into a void i’ve gone thru alot in the passed few years between an abusive relationship, sexual assault, and pediatric cancer. fuck. who would’ve thought THAT would happen to my family?? you never think it’s gonna be you. not me sounding like a young adult novel...but its true. the movies lowkey do a good job at describing how it feels to get news about cancer. it’s devastating. it makes your ears ring and your vision go blurry. especially when it’s a child, like who deserves that?? i was 18 when my 12 yr old sister was diagnosed with medulloma blastoma...i dont care if the spelling is right but thats how it sounds. it has no relation to genetic cancer, roughly 8 kids in every state get it and it almost ruined my family. sometimes i hate talking about it but most of the time it feels good. it is constantly on my chest so when i talk about it, it’s like a mini vacation because someone else gets to feel a glimpse of the pain i felt when we were told. it’s not about attention, it’s not about the spotlight on me. its please someone else feel this pain while i’m talking up a storm so i can stop feeling it for a split second. thats selfish but sometimes, most times, i don’t care. heart shattering isn’t even close to what i felt the first time i saw her after everything happened.   and let me be clear, i didn’t have the best relationship with my sister prior to...we were really far apart in age and i found both my younger sisters annoying. so when she ended up almost dying in the hospital i realized how detached i was from her life..and it shouldnt have taken that much for me to realize it and i will feel guilty about that for a long time. i wish it would stop, honestly. thankfully, we have a great relationship now and i miss her all the time.  the hospital was horrible. she had brain surgery because one of her tumors, the biggest one, caused her to stop responding and that’s the only reason anyone believed she had cancer. every doctor before then said she just had horrible vertigo and that it would never go away. wrong dickfuck it was 6 fucking brain tumors. i mean why did you even go to school you fucking idiot. k i l l  y o u r s e l f. i watched my mom deteriorate in real time and i have to say that is not something i wish on anyone. if there’s anything worse than watching your baby sister have a fucking brain tumor (or 6) it’s watching your mother fall apart because there’s nothing she can do.  i found out thru facebook that she had cancer. i rushed to the hospital expecting another answer, as if that were true. mom told me she didn’t even deserve the 12 years she got with her. i probably will never forget the look in her eyes when she said that. she meant it. i told her she was being too hard on herself. it breaks my heart she would even say that. i know most kids say they have the best mom, but i have never seen a mother love her own kids like my mom. it’s fierce and unapologetic. it’s like lightning. she’s the strongest woman i know, and i’m grateful Jesus gave me to her. my sister is alive btw. she’s my age now when i found out, and she’s beautiful. the cancer took her hair forever but she doesn’t even need it, and she has plenty of wigs. i’m so proud of her. i tear up sometimes when i see her because she has been through so much that she didn’t deserve. harsh realities and so much nausea. hair loss, hearing loss, sense of smell loss, cataracts in her eyes, weight loss, chemo...being ripped from everything she knew at 12...i can’t imagine. and she still loves Jesus. she’s so much stronger than me. the wisdom she already has is inspiring. and she’s so kind, the kind that would make shitty people mad and i love it about her, she shines. i want the world for my sisters my youngest sister is a completely different kind of strong. she overcame having to possibly bury her sister at the ripe old age of 10. she went thru and watched her sister wither away from chemo and cancer and endured being neglected unintentionally bc bailey needed so much attention...she was also ripped away from everything she knew at an even younger age.  she was too young to go in the hospital room bailey almost died in so my mom literally recorded a video of her on her phone of jamie saying goodbye to bailey and how much she loves her and that she will miss her. i....have never forgotten that. she was crying in the video. she was so little. she didnt deserve that. shes 16 now and she is a girl on fire. so incredibly kind and sweet but if you cross her she will absolutely call you out. i admire both of these girls, i love them
i dont have time for therapy so this is what ive decided will be my therapy!
