The clock struck midnight as you hazily stumbled the hallway of your apartment complex, your footsteps uneasy and half of your weight leaning against the walls. The city lights cast a warm glow as the night settled in, and the light warmly cast through the windows.

The Spot was doing what he usually did when you were out and about.. waiting for you to come back reading. His gaze was locked upon the pages, his eyes tracing the lines of text with an intensity that mirrored their deep immersion. With each turn of the page, his fingers danced delicately, flipping and caressing the paper as if they were coaxing secrets from the very fibers. The world he was in was quickly sucked away though, as the sound of a lighthearted and infectious giggle rang through his head. The hole on his face widens in both suprise and excitement as he sets the book down, closing it delicately and setting it on the opposing coffee table.

The door opens quickly, and you lightly stumble in, accidentally knocking into the doorframe and quickly apologizing to it.

As your eyes scan the room, they are immediately drawn to your adoring boyfriend, his lovesick expression evident as he rushes to support you. Spots gentle touch elicits a giggle from you, and you find yourself leaning into his embrace as he guides you towards a nearby couch. A rush of excitement surges through you, and you can barely contain your joy at the sight of him. So much so, that in a little moment which you don’t exactly regret, you place a small and rather firm kiss against the side of his face.

“O..oh! Y-y/n!” Was the most your brain chose to register in that moment as you kicked off your shoes and continued to pepper little kisses along what used to be his face. A giggle escapes his lips as he revels in the silliness of the moment. It's an act of affection, an unconventional declaration of your love for him, that just by looking at him you’re so stricken and can hardly contain yourself.

You head to bed not long after your display of affection, and the Spot takes a moment to look at himself in the mirror with what could only be described as nothing but pure adoration. His hands trace against where your lips had once been, and it only confirms the fact that you love him despite what he looks like. The night passes, and the spot decides to go to bed alongside you, refusing to wipe off or remove the marks your lipstick had meant, because to him it was a reminder that you didn’t mind showing that he was yours and you were his.

You awaken in a foggy daze, a sharp headache piercing your forehead, eliciting a small, uncomfortable groan. Your bleary gaze instinctively shifts towards your boyfriend, only to discover his face adorned with an array of lipstick marks. Initially, a blush of embarrassment tinges your cheeks, but soon, that feeling dissipates, replaced by a goofy amusement that lights up your once confused expression.

For the majority of the past couple years, Spots been an outcast to society, someone who wouldn’t be welcome anymore no matter what he did or how he hid. A job, something that could have saved him, wasn’t feesable anymore, and he couldn’t find anyplace to live.. that is, until there was you.

You were a complete godsend to this.. creature. A place to stay was more than what he could ask for. He didn’t need to eat, or do much anymore, but he still wanted a sence of community.

He could never repay you, never. The only person that’s ever been kind to him is letting him stay for.. nothing in return. As a way to return the sentiment and ease the overbearing guilt he feels that someone (as amazing and beautiful as you) let him into their home with open arms, he steals things.

Expect little trinkets! Oh? You like video games? That’s crazy because he just came across this one copy of..

He doesn’t crash persay, he lives. He craves the affection and love, so it’s difficult for him to not spend every night in your home. It’s warm, cozy, and best of all you don’t seem to care for what he looks like.

And like.. yknow, maybe you guys cuddle sometimes.

As for your hobby of drawing him, he would consider it the highest honor. You see him as something worth replicating on pen and paper? You want to show it to others too?? Congratulations, you just earned yourself a free model.

Gushes over your work, maybe keeps some of it for himself. Oh, he’s crushing hard. Maybe he’ll even try to draw you! Don’t expect anything.. good though. He was a scientist! Not an artist! But.. it would mean a lot to him if you kept what he gave you. It’s the least you could do, make him a happy little guy.

He may not be expressive, but you can almost see the flattery oozing from him as he eyes your work with the upmost curiosity. You’re so talented!

The lights of your bedroom, dim and gentle, reflect upon his pale face. He looks around curiously, his expression as it usually is, unreadable. He looks at you for a moment, the hole on his face narrowing in almost panic.

“T—thanks for letting me stay agai—look, I can’t really repay you or-“ He mumbles, rocking back and fourth on his feet nervously.

Your expression wracked him. The kind, empathetic smile on your face didn’t wane once, even if you both knew there wasn’t any way he could pay you back. You stay quiet, mainly to find the right words to tell him. With every passing second, doubt knawed at him. This was too good to be true.. this was going to end sooner than he hoped. You were going to tell him to get ou—

“That’s okay, don’t worry about it.” You speak, your voice quiet as to not startle him further. The weight of your words pressed on his shoulders, making it difficult for him to catch his breath.

“Really?” He approaches you swiftly, a sence of hope painted his expression, the brush that was his feelings painting a portrait of never ending gratitude.

“Really.” You repeat his words, arms outstretched, your smile never once waning. He can feel his spotted emotions get the better of him and he’s quick to bring you into a hug, his face digging into the crook of your neck.

I think it’s safe to say he enjoys public displays of affection if.. you even manage to figure it out. I mean.. he doesn’t have a mouth, or… really body for that matter. That doesn’t mean he wouldn’t love to feel cared for by someone he loves. He’s probably such an attention whore.

Probably ‘crashes’ (lives at) your place. There’s an extended room in your place now with a laboratory. Just.. don’t question it, even if you live in an apartment.

I genuinly think he has never felt the touch of another person since he ‘transformed’, unless it was of agressive means. He’d probably cry (if he even could) if someone were to hug him, kiss him, literally anything.

You probably have to get him out of every single situation he gets himself into. You’re his personal laywer, defending him from getting his ass beat.

Would probably enjoy going on little dates, not extravagant (he doesn’t have that kinda money cmon), but things like going to a coffee shop or a walk through the park.. it makes him feel incredibly human again. Even if people stare.

You roam his mind like a song, endless and so, so soothing. He can’t seem to get you out of his head for the most part, and he wants absolutely nothing more than to show you how much he cares! The only issue is.. what if you don’t even like him?

Maybe he does find himself going to the places you go to, wanting to say something but never finding the words. You’re so much more than he can describe, and that’s his thing!

Spot expresses his affection through creative gestures and acts of kindness. He can’t exactly be a classic romantic, after all. He might leave small, anonymous gifts or perform thoughtful actions to show you that he cares, and that you have a secret admirer! He really hopes they make you happy, after all, your smile always gets to him!

If you do end up striking a friendly conversation with him, he’s a complete wreck. He’s gained an insane amount of social ineptitude over the years of being an outcast, and it doesn’t help that someone so.. so great is just talking to him! He might, int he midst of a conversation, accidentally talk your head off akawardly. He’s not sure what to say, but the last thing he wants to do is come off as creepy and drive you away. He already looks, pretty unappealing... Expect a plethora of compliments, and oh boy are they incredibly descriptive.

Sometimes he wonders if you think about him like he thinks about you. His thoughts get.. very future oriented though. He finds himself imagining what a domestic life with you would be like. Maybe he could cook you things! He only really ever learned to make pasta though.. that’s okay, you can’t mess up pasta.

He would love his darling even if they didn’t have powers, or any special abilities. He doesn’t initially look for that, nor does he have the choice to really be picky.. but it is nice to be able to relate to someone! Even if your powers aren’t exactly similar.

Spot is an inquisitive man, he always has been. It becomes a second nature to ask questions of your abilities and how you live with them, because to him, it’s incredibly interesting! Maybe you could show him? If not, he respects that!!

He can understand how stressful it is if you nessecarily didn’t choose to have powers.. he can relate! So, comfort can become, like his curiosity, a second nature.

Maybe you could help him on his criminal escapades! Yknow.. even if most of it will end up just you trying to defend him from getting his ass handed to him on a silver platter. But that’s what love is!

Telekinesis was something incredibly forign to him. He’d heard of many powers, seen them himself as well, but telekinesis is.. certainly something else. He might prod a little to understand how you came across these abilities. Freak accident? Birth? Or something else? He won’t think any less of you no matter what your responce is, although he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t curious.

There’s a sence of relief knowing your power is something that you can use to defend yourself.

First Date with ‘Jonathan Ohnn’ (spot), (Hcs!)

This is sooooo cute!!! Jonathan Ohnn seemed like such a cutie pre collider and writing about him might be hard but tbh he probably is just as much as a goober as the spot is. No warnings! Just fluff! Also I’m using ‘spot’ for this just cause I get the ick saying jonathan, I’m just so used to ‘spot’!

If he were to actually confess to someone, expect him to be a horrible, terrible wreck. He never expected to fall in love, but when he’d met you things never seemed to fall into place anymore. He found himself more clumsy, prone to accidents he couldn’t have imagined being into in the first place.

Might offhandedly ask for your favorite flower MONTHS (or weeks.. probably days.. maybe a few hours) before he ever promptly asks you out, so it can be a wonderful suprise to get your favorite kind!

He’s not one for grand dates. Restaurants aren’t his thing, movies mean you can’t talk to the person you’re with.. so his perferred place would be maybe a park or sunset. Maybe you paint together, or share some pasteries?

Of course, once the date actually begins, he’s not even sure what to do. He doesn’t know where to put his hands or what he should do.. would it be rude to ask for boundaries? It’s a first date, so he shouldn’t be doing anything anyways but.. your hands look so soft!! :(

He tries to start conversation, but doesn’t exactly know what to talk about unless it involves rambling about his work. Of course, he’s a great listener though! He could listen to that lovely voice of yours for hours.

Might accidentally ramble more than he intends to, he doesn’t mean it, but he wants to make sure you understand everything he says and that he doesn’t come off as misunderstood!!

Might compliment you here and there shyly, his words laced with insecurity and uncertainty if he was making you comfortable or not. The idea he might scare the one person he’s ever been romantically interested in only raises that tense feeling building up within him.

If you compliment him, he probably won’t be the same for the rest of the date. His cheeks flush a dark pink upon hearing your words, not used to hearing such endearment. He didn’t consider himself attractive, and the best shopping he did was at thrift stores, but..

You watch with the upmost curiosity as the man you loved reaches for a small hole on the back of his neck. He looks at it for a moment, his gaze darting you yours with an amused expression. You seemed rather.. exausted from the move, and his help, while it meant the world to you, was doomed to have a consequence. He didn’t seem to have a complete hold or grasp of what he was capable of.

He spreads the black, void hole on the floor outside of your apartment. He looks up the rows of stairs for a moment, seemingly trying to calculate how to work his little magic. You continue to eye him, and he comes to the decision to ease your worries as quickly as they came.

“Ah.. don’t worry—I’m very, very good at this.” He nods his head, waving his hand at you gently in a teasing manor. You shake your head, a smile tugging at your lips in amusement.

“You say that but..”

“No buts my dear! Doubt isn’t good, I’m a scientist I—I know what I’m doing. May you.. pass me that lamp? Please dear?” He outstretches his spotted hand, gesturing twoards you and the lamp timidly, as if he was going to be reprimanded for being so bold.

You give him a suspicious glare, the smile on your lips not fading once during the exchange. You reach next to you, your hand retracting from your pant pocket, and grab the lamb he was refrencing. He takes it politely, squeezing the side of your cheek.

“See? Just watch this— this will make everything so much easier!”

He drops the lamp into the hole with ease, and as soon as it went inside, it went out. It falls out of an opposing hole next to him that quickly manifested when he dropped the lamp. The portal on his face widens in shock as he rises to grab the lamp before it can shatter.

“Nono… wait wait.. wait—“ He grabs the lamp after nearly dropping it, his hands flimsy and his knees buckled. You look around, noticing that nobody cares enough to watch the display. You clear your throat, and he quickly looks up at you embarassed.

“Y.. yeah no I can.. I’m sorry, wait maybe if i..”

He hands you the lamp gently, with a sence of urgency with his movements. He rushes up the stairs and to your shared apartments door. You can hear him shout from below, his tone confident and even a little cocky.. which was rather suprising since it’s him.

“Drop it in again!” His hand surrounds the large void on his face, as if to emphasize what he was saying.

Holding up the lamp, you give Spot a confusing look.

“Is this really going to wo-“ You shake the lamp gently in your hands, your eyebrows furrowed.

“Please?” He practically begs, his hands holding on top of the railing. You sigh, dropping the lamp back into the hole. Suprisingly, against your better judgement, a hole manifests next to spot and falls into his hands. He seems.. just as suprised as you that this worked, almost proud of his hypothesis being correct.

This was.. going to be something, but it made him happy to know he could be as useful as he could be, and that was enough.

Sorry it took long for me to get this out! This ask is incredibly cute, and I had a lot of fun writing it :) I think it’d be sweet to imagine another villian making friends with the Spot, he needs one, lord.

No warnings! Silly villian activities and fluff.

Being a villian is never inherently an easy thing. A life against the things you grew accustomed to, destined to be alone and betrayed until your inevitable apprehension. The spot isn’t used to a life like this, doing just what he can to survive. The occasional petty theft suffices, just enough for him to get by.

He’d known of you, perhaps once or twice, but.. he can’t say he cared much to look into your extistance as a whole. Sure, you were rather pretty, he could admit that! However, emotions come next, survival first. It wasn’t until a rather eventful night where he found his first ally did things change.

It was another common robbery, the streets of New York dark but still bustling with activity. It was never anything new to Spot, but the adrenaline rush he felt was. He was, so close to finally being able to rob a convenience store unnoticed, he just needed to…

The doors open suddenly, and it seems as if the general area changes. He turns his head sharply, adjusting his poorly kept disguise. It was.. oh! It was that one villian he’d saw! And.. and they were probably going to take what he was after.

You approach him swiftly, a confused expression upon your face. You spent your days working and fighting against things out of nature or strange, but this was.. certainly new. You can’t help but feel a slight bit of pity as he nervously tries to explain himself, as if you were a police officer and not someone as morally grey as him.

You do end up robbing the place, but, In an act of unexpected kindness, you give him a share of it. A considered partnership, just this once… though, he follows you out of the building, thanking you profusely. It seems like he might be here to stay wether you want him too or not.

He might do subtle things to try and impress you and maybe like him more. Steal you expensive and pretty things (despite the fact he failed and now the cops are on his trail), tell you about his previous job and accomplishments… things that you wouldn’t have typically cared about if you hated the goober.

He insists on working alongside you for missions, a bodyguard if you may! Who gets 50 percent, how does that sound?

In the midst of a partial criminal life, partial friendship, a lot of unnecessary bonding happens. The spot is an akaward man, who tends to let on more than he means to just to fill up empty air. He frequently confides in you about his condition and how he wishes things were, and even if it isn’t like your trope, you do comfort him. He’s a very emotional man, so if you were to confide In him, he’s comforting you with open arms and physical touch. The relationship you too have is more special than anything any other villian could possibly hold.

AUTISTIC READER:

The Spot, with his own experiences of feeling misunderstood, demonstrates empathy and acceptance towards their partner's autism. He recognizes and appreciates their unique perspective, and even try’s to promote it as much as he can. You can truly understand him in that sence, and it makes him even more likely to be able to open up to you.

The Spot and you easily bond over shared special interests, whether it's science, technology, or other intellectual pursuits. You both engage in passionate discussions, exchange knowledge, and explore these interests together. Sometimes it might even be hard to have a conversation without accidentally interrupting one another!

In many situations (myself included lol), it’s often hard to stim as you might think of it as embarrassing or useless because of how ‘stupid’ you look. The spot of course, loves to see you happy and express yourself, even if it isn’t conventional. If he notices this pattern of behavior, he might try to help by stimming with you! He thinks it’s sweet and he wants you to feel comfortable around him after all.

Sensory issues are one of the many obstacles that come with having autism, and the spot most likely is aware of this. Even tiny things such as the fabric of your pants Can set you off, and the spot tries his best to make you as comfortable as he can. If you happen to become overstimulated, then he’s going to stop everything and aid you. Even if you feel guilty about all of the attention, he hates to see you distraught.

If you’re feeling overstimulated at home, then he might turn off/dim the lights and give you something to fidget with. If you don’t want to talk about how you feel, he understands, and is willing to console you physically if you wish!

If it’s in a public setting, then the spot is willing to safely (and hopefully slowly, the poor boy might be freaking out alongside you) get you out of the situation and somewhere more quiet and secluded.

Dates during sensory hour at certain places! The options are limitless, but I can imagine he’d enjoy taking you to places such as the aquarium during those hours. It’s quiet, nice, and you both get to see the sea creatures :).

Sometimes you want to be quiet but also in his presence, the feeling of just being around him comforting enough. He can understand, although it might be hard. Sometimes the spot has a tendency to talk your ear off, but in certain situations, espically if you convey so, he might just relax and do something while you do something else.

The spot is also willing to adapt if you have issues with certain ways of communication, maybe to the point of going non verbal or needing cards. Spot is a fast learner, and because of such will quickly be able to affectively communicate with you. He finds ways to accommodate different communication styles, such as using visual aids, written communication, or allowing time for processing thoughts. He’s very patient and knows that your feelings are complex.

Reader with ADHD

The Spot recognizes that your attention and focus may fluctuate and that you might exhibit hyperactive or impulsive behaviors at times. He can understand the feeling of being impulsive, and uses this to connect with you on a certain basis. Reminders are very common with him!

Back when The Spot worked worked as a scientist, he developed an incredibly strict schduale. If you have your own issues keeping schduale and keeping track of your own work, he might implement some of your own tatics for you. (And he’s kinda a total worrywart about it. He cares, maybe wayyyyy too much about if you get your things done on time.)

The Spot uses his powers to create a calming environment for you when needed. He may manipulate dimensions to create serene spaces or offer soothing sensory experiences that help reduce anxiety too!
