your boyfriend's cat decides to hog you, since he barely ever gets to see you!!

“Aw, Beauregard come on man.” You laugh, moving him into air jail, while squishing away at the chubby cat. His fur is soft and fluffy against the warm palms of your hands.

The skin around your eyes crinkle into happy lines as you smile at the huffy cat.

“Be nice to your mama and baba,” Immediately, Beauregard looks away and closes his eyes with the attitude of a thousand lions. His whiskers twitch with his nose. If he could cross his arms, he probably would too!

Though, his facade melts just like the ice when summer’s hot embrace wraps around it, as Talisen takes hold of him and moves him over to his lap, petting his son.

“You must not be so hissy,” the reaper hums, “You will make your mama sad.”

With that sentence spoken, ears form into airplanes once more as beauregard raises his head in panic to look at Rishen who is evil enough to fake a frown and look away from her son.

How can you not laugh at the sudden cries of apology from the cat?

◉ Sinopsis; [platonic] Alastor and Lucifer set aside their differences for one season out of the year…

◉ A/n- requested by @bookishcatcafe - I hope I was able to capture your vision. Thank you for the ideas, my friend. 💛

It had started when Charlie suggested a "bonding activity" when she saw Lucifer and Alastor at each other's throats... Again. Nothing crazy- just a walk to decompress and maybe talk about something other than ripping each other's faces off

Of course, the first part of their little journey was filled with a cold-war type of silence. That was until Alastor began humming. Of course Lucifer is rolling his eyes at first, elbowing Alastor in the side and telling him to quiet down.

Alastor.. doesn't. In fact, he hums louder and accidentally baps Lucifer in the face with his cane.

Normally, Lucifer would blast someone for such indescretion, but all the bickering has been pretty draining, so he figures he'll let it go this once.

All that walking is bound to get a couple demons thirsty, right? Well, they're in luck, considering that Charlie has drinks prepared for everyone when they arrive back at the hotel. Apple Cider for Alastor, and a Mint Tea with honey for Lucifer.

As they relax (as best one can in Hell), Alastor of course, has to put on some background music. Fall themed old-timey songs begin to play as Alastor softly sings along. Now, Lucifer has heard Alastor sing before, but not like this (granted, I'm pretty sure the only other time Lucifer has heard Alastor sing is when they were arguing over Charlie and the hotel)

As it gets colder, Charlie of course is prepared with cute sweaters for everyone- all knitted with a custom design of the hotel staff on the front and back.

Charlie had expected some protests, but it seems her bonding activities are doing the trick- with Lucifer enthusiastically throwing the sweater on and complimenting his daughter's handiwork and Alastor giving her one of his rare genuine smiles.

As time goes on, the two are- surprisingly- able to hold some cordial conversations! The drinks, the music, the relaxing atmosphere and their shared affection for Charlie is (thankfully) enough to get Alastor and Lucifer to chill the fuck out

For the rest of the Fall season, the two are able to tolerate each other- partially thanks to Charlie's insistence

Though, their newlyfound appreciation of the other comes with some unintended consequences- including very loud karaoke nights

🍄: I'm comically seblandpilled right now to the surprise of no one so. In a His Dark Materials scenario Roland's daemon is a golden eagle and Seb's is a little red stoat that typically hides around the back of his neck under his collar like a scarf and is generally fearful and untrusting... except that she will constantly run out unprompted and bap this massive regal bird of prey with her paws, even before Seb and Roland are involved, to both Seb and Roland's terror and dismay.

❄️: Okay so this one is tricky because I rarely know what I want to read until I'm reading it, but truly like. Any teredion fic by any of the mutuals I will rush to at a dead sprint like a family dog seeing its owner return from war, and I can't say what it would be, because one of you guys would come up with it, and it would be good because you wanted to write it. But I will say the thing I want ME to write but that I don't have enough concrete thoughts to make a truly feasible plot out of it is the idea of Dion snapping and fatally lasering Sylvestre and abruptly becoming the Dragon King of Sanbreque at like eighteen. I think it would do ruinous and frankly hilarious things to his brain and I Would Like To See It but I don't know that I'll ever actually get around to making it real.

Rosemarie Rambles 🍄 (Happy/Cats)

I love the cats we've grown up with, the cats currently in our lives, and the cats we randomly encounter. I wish we still had the picture of toddler us napping in the center of a cat pile, I miss all of them dearly.

I love how the twin cats we have now are so similar yet so different personality wise. Artemis is very much a cat of consent. She'll make noise to be sure she has our attention before approaching us. She'll bat your hand if she's not in the mood to be touched, no claws or malice involved, just *bap* no. We can shake our head if we don't have time to be a cat rest, and she'll walk away to find a different place to sleep. Seriously love our lady Artemis, cat of consent.

Apollo is a little shit and the biggest of love bugs. He'll tap our head with his claws to wake us up for attention, already purring and ready to climb into our face to bonk us. He'll curl up on our chest and fall asleep as if he didn't just give us an adrenaline rush 4 minutes earlier. He isn't very vocal. More often than not, we'll look up from whatever fixation is going on to him just. Standing. Staring. Only to have him do a super twirl jump the second I actually acknowledge his presence.

You can't tell them apart physically unless you stare really hard. I love how their differences come out, it's beautiful

Just thinking about being fast asleep between Rishen and Jingyi, all tangled up with one another. None of you even feel 4 soft paws jumping onto the bed and making their way towards you. Nudging your arm upwards so she can slip underneath. You being, you curl your arms around the cat, bringing the cute siamese cat closer to your chest. You don't even know how they didn't wake up to four dobersmen silently climbing onto the bed because you did. Trying to stifle your giggles as they push their bodies in between Rishen and Jingyi, lying as close to you as possible. It felt like Jingyi was pushed away farther by two of the dogs on purpose and one of their paws holding your arm down when you tried to reach for him! And when Rishen and Jingyi awake they'll mutter something along the lines of "this ain't right." Beatrice meowing extra load when one of the dogs get too close to her spot in your arms.

“both of you.” he grumbles, moving one of them to stay, but hurling back when one naps after his hand.

that earns rishen’s tired and groggy reaction. his hand coming to gently tug at the dog’s collar.

“vanilla, noo, bad.” he warns. shaking his head in response. to which the dog whines and puts his head down in shame. nudging away at your stomach instead. before making his way up to also lay on your chest.

with a small hiss and bap to the head from beatrice. the dog sits up and shakes his head in such animated fashion. oh what will he do with no love and care. whining and crying.

you laugh quietly, reaching up to pet the dog’s head.

“come on vani. . . no dramatics right now, ‘s late. ..” you murmured, the dog laying back down on your lap and side eyeing jìngyí and his brother. cupcake.

the traitor of all of them. always defending the stupid snake man.

he’s fast asleep on jìngyí’s lap as a hand runs down his back. gently scritching his ears, whispering: “you’re my favourite.”

macha ends up being spread across the three of you, and all the while. cara, like usual, is curled up next to rishen. resting his head on his chest, with a paw extended over to your hand.
