Buster ends up capturing and brainwashing Marina and Shiver (who was with Marina at the time she was kidnapped and was also kidnapped as to not leave any witnesses), both of them are bosses that Que fights in order to rescue them both

Polaris the leader, ends up becoming a wilderness survivalist almost always constantly traveling, Boreas the smart one, ended up becoming a renowned resesrcher and college proffessor, Aithne the sensitive one went on to have bis own solo career, and Crux the fun one, just went and opened up his own weapons shop called Bullets and Barnacles

No one quite knows what happened to Miguel since he left years before the band split up during their big world tour, but there are rumours that he and Polaris got into a huge argument, resulting in him storming off, whether these rumours are true remains to be seen

A few years after the break up, Aithne disappears and Boreas worrying for his old friend goes on a search for him which ends up with him landing in octarian territory and running into Que

The two also end up running into Polaris who also accidentally drove into octarian territory and end up taking a ride in his RV named Melissa and ran over a bunch of octarians in the process (they're ok dw)

my comfort characters

i have a lot of comfort characters and i wanna talk about why i view them as such

nolan from uglydolls: ive always liked characters who were seen as different from normal characters they have their own unique appearance like nolan who has uneven sleeves, freckles, and heterochromia an eye condition where one eye is a different color in nolan’s case one is green and the other is purple he has a kinda shy looking appeal and has a special place in my heart as a comfort character

david from camp camp: he is the father figure i wish i had he is nice, doesn’t like strong language, and just wants to make his campers happy and wants the best for them, he likes the outside more than cities, he enjoys nature, he is a bit childish at times and it is kinda obvious he had some difficulty throughout his life therefore he is my comfort character

Doing some research for a fic and having a blast reading some of the creative ways the US police describe crimes and criminals so I thought I’d share. I’ve collated the vocabulary on policemag.com, cross-referenced with nation wide police codes and urban dictionary to bring you this list. Some of them may be inaccurate and I have no way of verifying their authenticity so take it at face value and maybe just pepper in terms when it feels right.

Airmail -  The items that are thrown from housing complex windows at New York City Cops when the officers walk around in a housing complex. Examples are beer bottles, coffee mugs and toaster ovens. On occassion, air mail is also tossed at members of the FDNY, EMS and DA's office.

B.M.T - Big Motherfucking Tree. Generally used as cover.

Backyard Boogie -  running after hustlers in alleys, amongst fences, metal gridded, wooden panels and bricks in stones walls, runaway down the roads or crosslines.

Barnacling -  One or more Officers attaching themselves to a handled or minor call, to avoid handling calls holding in the stack

Beef Jerky Road - Your location when dispatch asks and you have no idea where you have wandered. 

Berries & Cherries - Blue and Red lights on a patrol car

BFR -  Humorous term for method of entry in some burglary cases. It stands for "big fucking rock."

Bitchpatcher -  An especially disagreeable or argumentative police dispatcher.

Cat Piss Palace - A residence that smells like nothing but cat piss. The smell usually hits the officer as soon as the door is opened.

Cheese Grater Candidate -  Person that rides their Motorcycle without a helmet. Reminded me of a Fatal where a Cyclist crashed on the Xway and skidded about 150 ft on his head. Only half of it was left. Moral: Dont try to be cool, wear a helmet!

Crackroach -  Crack heads residing in vacant boarded up house and buildings like cockroaches.

Cream of the Crap -  A highly educated or sophisticated criminal- usually a white collar criminal or con man.

Cross Bar Hotel/Crossbar Hilton - Jail, lockup

Cruiser Spooning/69ing the cars -   Two patrol cars parked driver's side to driver's side, for an exchange of official information... or coffee. (also known as “hooking mirrors” or "mirror meeting")

Curbside Counselling -  Strong verbal warning on a detain and release

Cutie on Duty -  A good looking female police officer.

DRT - Dead Right There

Dear Chief Letter -  Eventually every cop will get to write at least one "Dear Chief" letter explaining the events leading up to and the results of what usually amounts to a poor judgement call on the part of the officer. Following is an example of a Dear Chief letter I found online. Dear Chief, I recently purchased a Smith and Wesson Model 642 .38 caliber airweight subcompact revolver as a backup weapon. Last night before roll call I accidently shot a hole in the squad room’s avocado-colored Kenmore 20.9 cu. Ft. refrigerator while showing my weapon to a few officers. The ice maker sustained a kill shot to its motor, rendering it DRT. The energy star rating was a 3.5 and even though I placed a band aide over the .38 caliber perforation, it’s probably a lot less now. I went online and tried to order new parts but apparently they stopped making this model in 1973. In the meantime, I put a 60 quart ice chest with wheels and telescoping handle next to the fridge with four bags of ice in it.

Deep Six It -  To lose something on purpose. Derived from burying a corpse six feet in the ground.

Dogworthy -  A K-9 handler's assessment of whether it's worth his time to search a building or area for a suspect. "I'll pass on that. I don't think it's dogworthy."

Dolphin Flogger -  One who wastes time with useless tasks. Someone who is not competent in police work and who acts busy. 

Driving by Braille -  A blind person can read using braille, a pattern of raised dots on a page. A drunk person can drive by braille, trying to make it home by following the raised reflective lane markers (dots) in the road. Some will try to keep the car aligned so that the left tire keeps hitting the dot, causing a sound that lets them know they aren't swerving, and lets us know they're driving by braille.

Excuse Me Lights - Responding to a semi-hot call with rear ambers only on; no code authorized. Hoping to avoid citizen complaints when they see the ambers flashing as you pass.

Felonius Wandering/Contemplative Mayhem -  "Old school" charges used to flop someone who might otherwise commit a crime if allowed to roam at will.

Felony Forest -  Multiple tree air fresheners in a vehicle used to mask the smell of drugs.

Five Finger Discount - Shoplifting

Flip-flop Swap -  Theft of footware usually occurring at public venues in which patrons must be barefoot.

Game Warden -  AKA Squirrel Sheriff, Possum Marshal, Forest Bacon, Bunny Fuzz, Nature Ninjas

Hot Brass Dance -  The dance craze sweeping the firing line when a shooter gets a hot ejected cartridge casing down their shirt or behind their glasses. May be prevented by wearing a shirt with a closed collar and a brimmed cap.

Keister-Bunny -  a person hiding contraband in their anus.

Lawn Ornament -  An inebriated subject, passed out and face down in the grass.

Minnow Mounties -  State officers that enforce game and fish laws. Also known as rabbit rangers, possum cops, turtle troopers, fish fuzz, trout troopers, twig pigs, rabbit sheriffs, meadow mounties, carp cops, duck detectives, prairie fairies, raccoon rangers, frog and bog boys, muskie marshals, zoo police, chipmunk chasers, smoky deer, fish and feather cops, muskrat mounties, skunk cops, Department of Natural Resources Officers
