It makes you feel like you're UTTERLY SHIT because you do your plates in order to get a piece of paper that will supposedly decide you future. (which will not and will never be the basis of your future. BECAUSE U HAVE A CHOICE)

It complicates the process of earning and preserving a serious relationship because of your INSANELY UNREASONABLE SCHEDULE causing your INSUFFARABLE MOOD SWINGS. (shout out to my supportive bf for staying with me, thank you)

Putting up with professors UNPROFESSIONAL ETHICS towards your work due to different backgrounds, opinions, beliefs & /knowledge. (DISCLAIMER: I am not saying that all professors are like that. I just happen to came across one. So yeah)

Having your self-esteem & confidence CRUSHED, RIPPED & SHRED due to said behavior of the professor. (it's seriously damaging)

Having your hard work STOLEN or RECONCEPTUALIZE by another person. (DISCLAIMER: Not all people are like that, it's from my own experience. So yeah)

Having your work REMOVE & DISCARDED in a group submission due to ANY POSSIBLE REASONS like slow progress, not good enough work & / trust issues. (DISCLAIMER : my experience, just being general.)

Always running because you're LATE FOR SUBMISSIONS. (it's my problem. Honestly, it'll be sooo long I won't write the reasons why.)

Despite those reasons. I was able to finish my degree. I was able to learn to love my chosen career and it also taught me discipline, importance of time and dealing with stress from peer pressure and academic issues. It made me a better person than I was before.

And I owe it to all the people who. Mentored, monitored and trusted my abilities. Thank you. That means alot to me.

Thankful As I Am. 🎓🥂✨ Everything feels like it went by so fast. My mind cannot comprehend everything that has happened through the years. All the drama, saway, sigaw, kakulitan, and just the general fun times we've shared, and I miss them so much. To be honest, Southridge wasn't my first choice, I wanted to go to a different school, but ended up studying here instead, and i DO NOT regret any of it. Southridge has taught me a lot of important things, it developed my character, and guided me in many aspects. I have learned to become confident, build my esteem, and become "less-shy". 041019 | Grad-waiting

I was supposed to share this on Facebook but I had too many persons to hide this from so I prefer posting it here instead. Besides, no one would pay attention to it if it’s here.

To be honest, I’m deadass tired of graduation-related questions. “Kelan graduation mo?”, “Tuloy ka na sa June?”. Worst questions – asked/joked by our instructors – are: “Gagraduate ba kayo? Para namang hindi e.”, “May gagraduate ba sa inyo? Parang ang chill nyo lang e. Hindi pa kayo mukhang stressed”.

It’s even more stressful hearing those. I cannot complain if they are bombarding us with so many requirements to be accomplished but is it too much to ask for some encouragement? We’re only months away till the deliberation and we’re slowly breaking down yet you don’t see it just because we don’t look stressed yet. Recently, we filed our application for graduation and we also had our pictorial for graduation picture. “Yan, para mainspire kayo”, she said. But I don’t really feel inspired anymore nor motivated.

Nakakawalang gana na. :(

Yes, the goal right now is to finish college, which I will fulfill this year (cross-fingers). But I don’t think fulfilling it will make me feel satisfied at all, not even an inch. Aside from giving my parents the diploma we both worked hard for, as someone who has extended her stay in college, I wanted to graduate now so that I can finally satisfy my relatives who were also waiting for my long overdue graduation. On top of that, I really wanted to get out of my school. They said when you’re at school, you always want to finish it but when you’re already working, you just want to go back schooling. Probably true but that’s not the case for me. If I didn’t graduate this year, I’ll probably have to transfer school and I am not getting any younger, so are my parents.

Anyway, whatever happens few months from now, sana kahit papaano masabi ko sa sarili ko na “Yessss. After 6.5 years, nakatapos na ako.” Hindi tulad ng nararamdaman ko ngayon na “Gagraduate na ako, sana masaya na mga kamag-anak ko.”
