This is the last of my Battle Damaged series. I'm not a sadist, I swear, but sometimes I need to show just how much the heroes suffer to show their strength. This one actually makes me think of Fenton in a post-apocalypic scenario, just because. No stories ideas, but Fenton would totally be boss in a zombie apocalypse.

I thought about drawing a Launchpad pic for this series, but I just didn't have the heart. Besides, with his luck, he'd just walk away with only a band-aid covering a paper cut.

Marc Spector, a Battle-damaged Moon Knight

  Born to a respectable family, but eschewing its history and beliefs Marc Spector cut his own path through life by becoming a boxer, a Marine, and finally a CIA operative. Disgusted by the organizations practices and hurt by his own brother Randall’s betrayal, Spector ejected whatever morals he still possessed and fell into mercenary work around the globe. During this dark time, he made friends with Jean-Paul “Frenchie” DuChamp, one of the only bright spots in the violent profession of a hired gun.

  Tiring of overthrowing governments and assassinations, Spector entered into the orbit of an extreme terrorist named Bushman who turned on him and left him to die in the harsh Egyptian desert. Somehow, the mercenary made it to a nearby ancient tomb and into the hands of Marlene Alaurune, the daughter of an archaeologist murdered by Bushman. Near dead, Spector rose up to find a statue of the Egyptian deity Khonshu looming over him and believed it to have saved his life. He proceeded to smash Bushman’s operations with Frenchie’s help and later realized he’d gained a new outlook on life.

  Spector returned to the United States with his friends and set about creating not only a costumed identity he dubbed Moon Knight, but two other personalities to aid him in his war on crime, millionaire Steven Grant and cab driver Jake Lockley. With Frenchie as his pilot, Moon Knight began to make an impression on the rest of New York City’s heroes

When you open the item’s small, black cardboard box, you’ll find brief Yoda biography on the left panel and the contents of the box, which are covered by a clear plastic shell, on the right. The contents of the box includes: the .45 scale Yoda lightsaber hilt, a certificate of authenticity, and a custom mini lightsaber stand. The stand is tailored specifically to Yoda lightsaber hilt, featuring custom sized stand pieces and a custom ‘Yoda Lightsaber’ inscription written on its base.

The entire hilt weighs only about 1.1 ounces (about 31 grams) and is about 3 inches long and about 0.45 inches in diameter. Since the item is a scaled-down version of the diminutive Yoda lightsaber, the hilt is even smaller than most of the other scaled-down versions of other lightsabers.

The majority of the Yoda lightsaber hilt is diecast metal with an added black plastic section encircling the middle and vertical rubber grips encircling the lower section of the hilt. The base of the hilt is inscribed in small black writing with copyright info for Master Replicas and Lucasfilm.

The mysterious dark chrome finish gives the hilt a muted, tactical appearance. Despite the small size of the prop replica, Master Replicas captures many subtle details in the hilt design, including subtle intentional signs of battle damage like some small scratches in the emitter section and small dents in the rubber grips.

Drool.

Why did it have be bloody drool? Spike wondered as the demon bared down on him and snapped its teeth inches from his nose. “You wanna bite me?  I mean, seriously?”  He shot back. The Groxlar had caught him off guard and gotten the jump on him, now Spike barred his vampire visage and head-butted the giant-melon-ed beast avoiding the horns protruding from its head.

Spike managed to scramble away and leap on the beast from behind, holding onto the horns, as he semi-steered it away from the daycare center, and growled with effort, “You’d think you’d be able to nip the heads off with out drool, you big sodding slob. I thought there was an agreement made with Wolfram and bloody Hart!”
