We have so many arcs going on here and my predictions are way different than my expectations, they are almost the opposite sides of the possible plot of s4.

So SPOILERS ALERT!

Wukong is going to lose the fight with LBD of course xD I'm more than sure about it. But also he won't die, I think season 4 it's too soon for that (if the writers plan to let Wukong die at all... it would be actually interesting to see some angst when Mk literally replaces Wukong as the new Monkey King). I guess he will hide somewhere to recover and I wish he would meet Macaque halfway. They really have things to talk about. I'd like to watch the whole ep with only them talking/fighting. the fact they both have different views on what happened between them, and we don't know either what happened or what they think about it, it's just thrilling and intriguing.

Also, I'm a big fan of a theory that Wukong has kinda complex bc he hurt Mei and disappointed his successor. He's kinda still in the "punishments&praises plus self-interest" level of morality (it's a child level if you dunno what I mean), I think that's why he always runs away from consequences. He just doesn't believe in forgiveness and redemption (maybe that's why he did what he did to Macaque). So Wukong getting a bit obsessed to earn Mei and Mk forgiveness without even trying to directly apologize to them? I'm in that angst, baby

Also Macaque is finally free and nothing forces him to do anything. I'm super curious about his arc. He was my very first love in lmk, I can't hate him for anything, I just understand and feel this character too badly

Mk and the crew... I didn't watch the English translation of the scene when they talk about what they're gonna do now xd So no idea, are they looking for Mei? I don't know xd although I'm still waiting for Sandy's true potential reveal and Mk going apeshit

Look, I was so hyped and I overanalyzed EVERYTHING about Red Son in season 3, my BFF read essays about him day and night for two weeks, and I'm not gonna write everything down right here right now, but LISTEN, there is no other way to explain what he's doing in this season, he got pretty attached to Mei, or at least to protagonist, but listen, hear me out omg

~ Red Son was wandering around the world with her dragon plushie, looking for Mei to help her with Samadhi ~

TRY TO READ IT AS A FRIEND'S INTENTIONS WHEN THEY ARE LITERALLY STILL STRANGERS

And however obsessed I sound, the truth is, Mei's arc is really expanded right now, she went through a lot of trauma, she holds a lot of pain, she was betrayed and used, she's not a sunny smiley sweet girl sidekick with sick dragon powers anymore. She's not someone who's gonna tease or joke with the only person who can help her with the mess she's forced to live with.

And Red Son on the other hand had his quite long now story of redemption, he's completely into supporting protagonists, even against his parents, even despite the fact protagonists literally used him, punched him, stole and wrecked his car right after he saved them and let them eat, drink and sleep in his house. We still don't know why is he doing all of this, completely selflessly and quite desperately tbh.

So whatever relation between these two will be, it visibly can't be slick and simple like their teasing-competing relationship from Spider Queen ep. They both have complex arcs now, it's hard to write their training plot as a 'buddies bonding time' thing or sth like that. They both know how serious is the situation, so their bond after 4 will be really deep and strong

Or the writers will make fun of them or put a lot of drama, I'll be mad if they make fun of my poor traumatized Mei and my selfless gold-hearted Red hero

i WISH we'll see some dragonfruit, but there is no love plot in lmk so far, and I know other cartoons directed by Sarah Harper (for example Glitch Tech), and she's not really into "let them kiss'' stuff XD however, I love her for the absolutely brilliantly created man-woman best friends tropes. Mk & Mei relationship is so purely natural friendship arc! So whatever she's up to with Red Son and Mei, I trust her it's gonna be good

3. Who is the most underrated sunny side character? I struggle with the “underrated” “overrated” question because I’m sooo out of touch with the Sunny fandom as a whole. I feel like I live in my own bubble with a handful of really sweet mutuals. In general, I would kill and die for Artemis, I think she’s so funny. I love the lawyer, I looooove Z, and I love Carmen so much (sweetie, I’m so sorry they wronged you).

8. Rank all the Sunny ships from fave to least fave. Because I’m a freak and I love to talk I went ahead and discussed extra team-ups and didn’t limit this question to just romantic shipping. (I actually initially discussed every single possible team up including Frank but I scrapped a few bc I was just being ridiculous):

1. Mac/Dennis: I’m not sure this one needs explaining. Endless canon content and it’s actually possible that it’ll become canon (I’m a clown, sorry). I’m also not immune to the fact that it definitely has the most fan content. 10/10 ship.

2. Charlie/Dee: I’m actually a really huge fan of this ship (*covers my ears and closes my eyes during Times Up For the Gang*). I think the idea that the two of them are mean to each other purely to gain validation from Mac and Dennis has a lot of merit and I think they genuinely could make a really good team. (*Aches* they should’ve run away with Peter Nincompoop.)

3. Dennis/Dee: I’m such a huge fan of their team ups. Their chaotic energy is unmatched by any other team up. (Makes this list nonromantically, obviously.)

4. Mac/Charlie: Makes this spot on the list kind of by default. I’m certainly not passionate about it but their relationship is pure and good and I’m never opposed to a little homoeroticism among good friends.

5. Mac/Dee: I think it’s so fucking funny that two people who love each other so much (Kaitlyn and Rob) have managed to make two characters with zero goddamn chemistry. (Not in a negative way! I genuinely believe their characters hate each other, and I believe that was writers intent. I find their team up episodes hysterical and I love their dynamic. I love that they hate each other.)

6. Dennis/Charlie: They have their moments, of course. I stand by that post about early Den/Charlie scenes. They’re damn cute snuggling on the futon, or when Dennis gives him the back hug in The Gang Gets Extreme. THAT BEING SAID I genuinely don’t think Charlie could ever love Dennis the way Mac does. I think Charlie is too put off by his vanity! I think he sees through it more than Mac does. (I’m blinded by M*cdennis, forgive me.)

BONUSES:

Charlie/Frank: The absolute cutest, purest friendship in the show. Two guys who never (okay, hardly ever) manipulate each other and just genuinely enjoy each others company. Two guys living together and sharing a futon by choice is just so god damn cute to me. When Frank GENUINELY comforts Charlie after the fall out of The Nightman Cometh? When Frank is holding Charlie after he shoots himself with the flare in The Gang Goes to Hell pt 2? I just think it’s really cute and sweet what good friends they are.

Dee/The Waitress: Genuinely do not understand this ship. Listen, I am not the kind of person who is above shipping characters who have little to no interaction. It’s just that I find the Waitress to be completely unendearing (I love her place in the show, I don’t think she shouldn’t be in the show to be EXTREMELY clear.) I just think her character is written with no redeaming values and so I have a hard time trying to ship her with anyone, let alone Dee, one of my favorite characters! Another “that being said...”: As much as I love Charlie/Dee, I’m also a huge fan of lesbian Dee. I’m just not down to clown with Dee/The Waitress.

Frank/Artemis: is so goddamn funny to me. 10/10 LOVE their whole thing.

25. What predictions do you have regarding the future of the series? I try not to think about it. I don’t actually think they’re going to give us M*cdennis and it bums me the fuck out. I think the episodes will continue to make me laugh, I’m sure there will be more moments like Mac picking Dennis up so that RCG can continue to queer bait the fuck outta me (Okay, maybe it doesn’t count as queerbaiting sense they canonized gay mac (thank u rcg for that sorry im an ungrateful fuck)) but... Yeah! I’m going to watch the next season, for sure, and I will probably like it :) I just can’t genuinely bet on them doing anything fun like giving Mac a boyfriend and having Dennis be jealous/annoyed about it. i could talk about god's menu felix for hours man. the teaser for god's menu that featured his part on the bridge made me look forward to the mv release. you: biases chan, also you: lixiesbabyhands. yes you are more whipped than you think. i can't believe orange haired minho was given NOTHING during that era but they kind of made up for it in the b-sides. i also hope it stays that way. the distribution for this era was pretty fair.

oh my god, about your performance last sunday. was the stage out in the open? glad you didn’t cough too much and did well on your concert. i’m proud of you! i can never understand dogs and poor birds T_T uni doesn’t have dances unfortunately. i think there’s just one party at the end like a graduation ball. what year are you in anyway? if it’s something that you’re fine with sharing. if not, it’s cool.

At the merge boot it looked like it was going to be a 5-5 vote with nicholas/zak/willow/dana/josh voting out ashton and then me/you/chips/lily/ashton voting out josh +kai doing whatever kai was going to do lmao

So based on my perception and the information i had been collecting it seemed like you had a relationship with dana and your loyalty to me and “our side” was in question and if 20 minutes before the vote i’m told that youre going to people we weren’t working with and telling them our plan then it would make sense that youre not with us and youre not going to vote with us so a 6-4 vote with me being in the minority was possible and looking more and more realistic.. At that point i knew that i needed to play the idol to save ashton and my reasoning behind voting you out was because all signs were pointing to you were not with me so if you stayed in the game you would not only be a number for the other side but you would be someone who had previously been working with us and had receipts and information that could be used against me so taking you out right then would be smarter so at the last minute i chose what i thought was the most logical game move………….. When the votes were read i saw that you did in fact vote josh out and i had a mini panic attack lmao but yeah there was definitely reasoning behind it i thought you were playing both sides and your actions were making me perceive that you werent committed to working with us so thats why you left… i’m not saying this with any tone btw im not bragging about this being a good move or anything i’m just answering the “why” so that you have the closure and understanding on what was going on in my mind and what went down that lead to you getting voted out

Okay so I know that this was your first tumblr survivor game and im sorry that it ended so abruptly and came so out of nowhere you did deserve better i hope that this experience doesnt spoil your view on tumblr survivor orgs and i know that you need to keep up with wearing your retainers because its important to keep your teeth in tact so that all the money you spent on braces doesnt go to waste learn from my mistakes!!!!!

Willow: Hey, Willow! Whatsup? I loved you in one world, but when we got to merge we ended up on opposite sides and during the early stages of merge i tried to keep my distance so that i would avoid being overly deceitful which would likely lead to more bitter feelings of personal betrayal should i make it to the finals. Everything I did in this game was calculated and fueled by logic and reasoning based on my perception, but that doesn’t mean that I played a flaw free perfect game, I’m definitely a self aware bitch and I know that I can be a little cracked’t. Obviously everything worked out to the point where I got to the final 3 so I can’t say that I would do anything differently, however to answer your question, I would say that my biggest mistake would have to be the timing of voting out Austin. There were many things that lead me to making the decision to take him out at that moment in the game, but when the votes were read and I saw that despite all the red flags, he had voted the way he told us he was going to. Okay, now to answer your general questions! This isn’t a good jury favor pageant answer but tbh my favorite part of this game was making the movie poster, I love being creative and storytelling so I just had such a fun time making that. If I were in the jury, so that would make this a final 2 of Chips and Ashton? Right? Is that what you meant? You can’t answer me right now this is a one way conversation I’m having with myself…. But in a f2 of Chips and Ashton, I would vote for Chips.  If I weren’t here and I had to pick only one person to be in the finals, I would choose Dana because I think she played one hell of a game. A minor move of mine was during the premerge one world stage. I made sure to try to make somewhat of an impression of people not on my tribe, like Zak Willow Nicholas and Josh, by having at least one brief conversation that coming at merge we wouldn’t be complete strangers, but not too much that I came off as a strong social threat. Okay, I think that I answered all your questions, I hope I did and I hope that my punctuation usage made this easier for you to read because I’ve gotten so many complaints about this before, I type like I think and speak which is just one nonstop cracked rambling with absolutely no structure asdfdsfhjasdfj i tried really hard for you lmao

Okay 3 genuine compliments about you 1) i’m a self centered narcissistic bitch and i think i’m hilarious BUT when we shared the title for best sense of humor in touchy subjects i was like okay true he’s worthy i’m not mad about that 2) this is like our 5th game together but realistically our second game where we’ve interacted and it’s easy to see that youre a well rounded player who knows how to integrate yourself with people you display game sense and ability without coming off as a big threat that needs to be targeted 3) i literally can never tell if you actually hate me or if we’re friends or enemies or frenemies but despite that i still really like you and want to be your friend even if you hate me and idk why so good job on misting me i guess????

dana: Dana queen legendary icon the night you left i knew you were leaving (despite the valiant effort you put into trying to get me and ashton to vote with you and you almost had ashton so thanks for making me put in just that much more work to talk him down from it) but at that point out of respect for you and your game i just was like straight up ill be real with you because you deserve it… and because i knew you were leaving so building you up a little before you go to jury couldnt have hurt ;) BUT FOR REAL the things you did in this game left me shook over and over and over the way you speak and your ability to lay out valid strategic arguments that make it seem like they dont even benefit you its just all about the person youre talking to’s best interest….
