I think I'll never understand is why people on fandoms don't listen to the creators when it's about a character they don't like. And yes, this is about RWBY AND RG HOW DID YOU TELL

Like, in RWBY people will say "oh rg is gross" or "they're siblings, not crushes" as if MILES LUNA didn't fucking say that it's not gross, it's a 2year age gap and that they don't have a sibling dynamic in canon

Listen, you're completely allowed to have an opinion. But there's a difference between an opinion and a statement xd

"I'm see their dynamic more sibling-like" is not the same as "they have a sibling dynamic"

And just because you dont like a character doesn't mean you should complete ignore what you're seeing on screen

Just because you don't enjoy a character (that is not evil or unlikeable, oscar is actually one of the sweetest characters in the show he's always trying to help) doesn't mean you get to ignore him. All characters are linked. If i ignored Phyrra I'd have missed Jaune stuff. If i ignored Ren I'd missed Nora stuff, If I ignored Weiss I'd have missed ruby stuff, AND IF YOU IGNORE OSCAR YOU MISS RUBY STUFF

Also for those who say:

"I don't like Oscar bc ozpin is there and it's icky"

1-the plot will develop??? That's how a show works, that will most likely change

2-You missed Ozpin's character because AGAIN, you didn't like him so you decide to ignore him.

3-If you ignore Ozpin, you miss Oscar stuff which leads to the "oscar is a meatsuit" thing because you think he's a flat and dull character and because you think so (because you ignored one of the pillar characters in ozma/Salem's plotline) then you don't get why rg could be a thing and then you sew that rg MIGHT actually end up happening if CRWBY follows the path they're going and then you get pissed off because you say they don't have chemistry.

i have two pokemon ocs/personas , one for paldea and the other for galar. the paldean guy is named rubie (left) and the galarian guy (technically from my first pokemon game!!! shield has a special place in my heart forever) is named cacao (right). theyre brothers, both champions

cacao co-champions with hop because for the life of them they couldnt stop winning/losing at the exact same time so they challenged leon individually (and both won). cacao loves the cold and stayed in galar because of how much he loves his region. surprisingly he doesnt actually like battling much bc he sucks at strategy and just goes with whatever his pokemon think is the right thing to do

rubie is confused on what to do with his life but loves pokemon. he loves spending time in area zero because it feels magical to him. the pokemon around paldea and area zero dont attack him as much as they attack others, theyre pretty used to him cus he feeds them like ducks. hes neutral on battling but loves the thrill of catching, still sucks at strategy cus it runs in the family

Honestly, 'no body no death' kinda applies here like we KNOW that Watts died either burning to death via Cinder's wish or when Atlas fell but he was surrounded by computers at the time as well. It could have literally been the last thing he ever did. (Or he did it during v7 since he already wormed his way into the Atlas network via Jacques).

Via Jacques. Man. Watts really is Weiss's personal villain.

The whole 'transferring consciousness' thing also reeks of the Aura Transfer machines used on the Maidens, but I always assumed that was Pietro's invention so he could give life to Penny. Maybe Watts stole or twisted the concept for his own use.

Yang seeing the Ruby in Flash mmmmm. The way he looks at her arm and asks 'what happened?' and Yang explains how she felt ooooooooo. Flash explaining that Kilgore is no longer in his brain but he hears and sees him all the time.

I've really been having fun with Phantom Liberty on my endgame save in the sense that I feel I'm getting a lot of dialogues and stuff you wouldn't get if you played this right after the Voodoo Boys/ relatively early/mid- main game.

Minor spoilers for a sidequest below!

I played "Balls to the Wall", that side quest where you're briefly playing from Kurt's perspective, two times, once getting a real bad outcome. The second time around I went with the "I could ask friends for some favours" dialogue option to help Paco and Babs, bc I wondered what favours that could be. And I assume you gotta finish Panam's and River's questlines to ask them for help (and I love so much that you can do that) and I love that you can even ask Rogue - and I wonder how far along the main story you gotta be to achieve that? Do you have to finish "Blistering Love" or would she help you prior to revealing that Johnny lives rent-free in your head too? Either way, I love it xD

And, on a sidenote, she mentions in her text "the theatre incident" and Vince would be like...... what theater incident. Johnny, wtf happened, you said nothing happened, it didnt go well... what have you done, we gotta talk...

(Cause yeah, I usually play so they dont make out in the Silver Pixel Cloud cause idk, it just feels so weird and I think after the crap with Ruby Johnny would actually try and be good to not destroy Vince's very fragile trust in him *again* xD)

Either way though. I'm loving everything so far and it feels like... idk. It's super hard for me to estimate how far along the PL storyline I am, like, a bunch of stuff has happened and things seem to be getting a bit more serious, but I feel like there is some big stuff to come still. At least I hope so xD

9yo nephew is only used to playing Pokemon Sword on the switch and he's... strugging with the mechanics of Omega Ruby on the 3DS bc it doesn't autosave and there are still HMs he needs to get to progress in the game and there are THREE fishing rods he needs to get and what is all this nonsense can't you just fly everywhere with the taxis and why are the gyms so small lol nah buddy this is how it USED to be. Hi, I'm back!!

Been lurking every once in a while in the shadows and saw that you and the other anons were talking about gemstones (and su) for the hk cast.

First off, the higher beings as diamonds is a 10/10 idea, buuut I'm thinking that the Vessels could all be varieties of Corundum!

Corundum is actually the mother stone of Sapphires and Rubies, the only difference between the two is that only Conundums with Chromium are Rubies, while everything else is a Sapphire. Now, I could go on and write and entire essay in your inbox about the nuances and details and elements and god, it's all really fascinating, but yeah. Pinkish-Orange and Orangish-Pink are the most valuable of all Sapphires (also called Padparatcha), as well as the classic Cornflower Blue one. Also, Corundum is 9 on the Mohs hardness scale, one unit below Diamond, which makes sense for the Vessels, seeing as they're half-higher beings.

Also, for Hornet and maybe the Dreamers and the knights, I'd recommend Beryl, the mother stone of Emerald, Morganite and Aquamarine (and a few others). Red Beryl is the rarest Beryl and fitting for Hornet, I'd say Emerald for Monomon, and Green Beryl (which IS different, yes) for Isma. The rest can be up to you. Beryl is also one unit lower than Conundum on the Mohs scale.

//3: from the anime, mostly the portrayal of pokémon coordinators is fun to mix in with game canon. colloseum and xd are fully canon, as is magikarp jump. pokémon go is canon to an extent (team mystic, team valor <- best, and team spark's one i forget the name all exist and are legitimate groups (what, you thought all teams were evil? there's a reason people in the games don't automatically categorize people as the villains the moment they put "team" in their name), and those team rocket characters probably exist or whatever. idk, haven't interacted with them much yet. hey you, pikachu! is canon. pokémon tcg (the video game) and its sequel are canon, but the odds of that coming up anywhere is very low bc the tcg islands keep to themselves. from the physical tcg, delta pokémon exist, dark pokémon exist, light pokémon do not because they make no sense. all of the mystery dungeon games are video games in-universe. pokémon pinball: ruby and sapphire is canon, but the original pokémon pinball is not. pokémon snap and its sequel are both canon. smash bros is canon but if you bring it up there'll be an awkward silence for a while before someone changes the subject. pokémon trozei! is canon. pokémon conquest is canon and in the past. the pokémon ranger games are all canon but don't tell me about them i don't know anything yet and i want to be able to play blind. the pokémon rumble and poképark games are in-universe video games. detective pikachu and its sequel are canon unless i play the sequel when it comes out and i don't like it. learn with pokémon: typing adventure is canon. pokémon art academy is canon and takes place in the tcg islands. the thieves and the 1000 pokémon is an in-universe game. pokkén tournament is canon. camp pokémon is an in-universe kids' app. pokémon duel is canon, and carmonte island is near the tcg islands. pokémon playhouse is an in-universe kids' app. pokémon battle revolution is canon. hayley and bridgette exist. dream radar scientist exists.

Alrighty! I've been loving throwing ideas at Ruby and Kia! Gods, they're been a really big help with formulating him. But Jam really started me on this path and was the first homie to suggest an idea!

Though Liu'er over here certainly developed far from that bc he took the reigns and went right on ahead XD

Okies, so Liu'er had been close with Wukong. Perhaps even falling for him. However, by the time he realized it, he had gotten a little too acquainted with the staff. Now, he didn't die. No, no, no. But he sure wished he had. Upon finally healing, he came to the mountain and found something rather...distressing. (If you know, you know *winks*)

Either way, he found himself lost. Astray in the world and without purpose. Until it came to him. He began his path of helping those he could, and throughout the years, the memory of his face faded as his tale was told. All that was known was that a dark-haired stranger would come by and lend a hand. But he would always leave when his work was done. No attachments, no name. Only his dark hair and the rich timbre of his voice.

Which leads to the main reason for not being found. Liu'er has been pretending to be human for centuries, moving from place to place. He wears no mask, only glamours wrapped tight around his form. He's had one rule: don't get attached. One he's followed to the letter for quite some time.

Until now.

Now, Liu'er is publicly under the name Liu Yuan or Yuan Liu for it being shown as surname before first. (you DON'T want to know how long it took me to get his damn last name) He had other names before but got a little comfortable enough to go with Liu. He ended up staying and making a theatre in Donghai City. He built his baby from the ground up and he's damn well proud of it. Using old funds, he pretty much got it well and good soon after. But that's not saying he didn't get some help. You see, only one person knows who he really is.

He's got a really good deal with her, a partnership if you will. Chang'e has been good to him, he won't deny that. Now, during their first years, he was a little skittish. But he's gotten better. A bit. He teaches people, letting them get on with her if they're interested in that. Or in other places. Hell, some of them even stay at the theatre with him and help with the newbies. Whenever Chang'e wants something scheduled, he can set something up at her casino.

Or if she wants a favor to use his ears...

Well, sometimes secrets are worth more than gold, hm? Liu'er's got the best set of ears around. He damn well knows it.

He hasn't been on the stage since the early days of his theatre, but there's a chance he could get back in the spotlight. All someone's gotta do is ask real sweet and he'll think on it. But so far, he's only done it for Chang'e. (considering what she knows, it's no surprise) He likes her well enough to step up if she asks.
