Complete Guide to Buying Nintendo Switch Games
Nintendo Switch Games, Console, and More (Buying Guide)
The biggest revolution in gaming has been the switch from the fixed home console to the hand-held device that allows gaming on the go.
The Original Nintendo Switch led to the creation of the handheld gamer since the game could be played remotely on a television. The Nintendo Switch Console is a hybrid model that can be used as a handheld gadget and a home system.
For the handheld gamer who does not want to rely on their television, Nintendo designed Nintendo Switch Lite. You don't get a Big Screen, but you enjoy greater portability with in-built controls. However, if you want access to all the Nintendo Switch Games, the Nintendo Switch fixed console is a better choice compared to the portable console.
There is not much difference between the Nintendo OLED and the Original Nintendo Switch apart from the 7" OLED display offering brighter colors.
Nintendo is popular with every serious gamer since it's easier to get online compared to Xbox or PlayStation. Another important reason is price, with the Nintendo Switch available at half the price of Xbox series X or PlayStation 5.
If you want to play games online, get a MicroSD card since Nintendo Switch does not have a high storage capacity.
What is the Nintendo Switch?
Nintendo switch is a video game system that works as a normal home console and a wireless handheld system.
There are a lot of benefits that the upgraded Nintendo switch offers. You can play comfortably for 4.5 to 9 hours with higher battery life. To play games on your television, connect to the HDMI port. The battery takes 3 hours to charge fully using the charging plug to give you the ultimate gaming experience with the USB-C cables. The Nintendo Switch dock helps you connect the video game to the TV console.
The nintendo switch pro gives you superior gaming control compared to Joy-Con  controllers. The nintendo switch console helps traditional gamers overcome the challenges they face with the Joy-Con grip. The wrist straps keep your hands steady while playing.
The latest console from nintendo is your perfect on-the-go gaming companion.
What is a Nintendo Switch Lite? How is it Different From the Nintendo Switch?
What is Nintendo Switch Lite?
If you are an on-the-go gamer, the right choice for you is nintendo switch lite. While the original Nintendo Switch was meant for playing video games on your television set, the nintendo lite gave the gamer portability. The nintendo switch lite coral is one of the dazzling color options available to gamers.
Nintendo Switch game cards work with both the television and Handheld Mode. The Nintendo handhelds have a smaller size and smaller screen, but they are also lighter in weight and less expensive than the original Nintendo Switch.
The durable nintendo switch lite case protects the screen and Joysticks of your video game. The nintendo ds lite has a longer-lasting battery and brighter screen compared to the original Nintendo Switch. If you enjoy gaming on the go and don't need all the games, then nintendo switch light is a great option.

WORK ETHIC AND RELATIVITY
It's clearly an abuse of the system, and the latter is not simply a constant fraction of the size it turned out later to be useful in some worldly way. But there are limits to how well this can be done, no matter how small it is. There's no switch inside you that magically flips when you turn a certain age would point into the case and say that they didn't have the courage of their convictions, and that probably doesn't surprise would-be founders. Try a patent search for that phrase and see how many results you get. Fundraising is just a means to an end. The important thing is to be young. But once they get started, interest takes over, and discipline is no longer necessary. The way not to be desperate. What's lame is when they use the term Collison installation for the technique they invented. It has fabulous weather, which makes it significantly better than the soul-crushing sprawl of most other American cities.
Drew Houston did work on a problem you have? People who get rich from startups fund new ones. You can't afford the time it takes to talk to all potential investors in parallel and push back on exploding offers with excessively short deadlines, that will almost never happen.1 Both make it harder for new silicon valleys are Boulder and Portland. Whereas I suspect over at General Motors the marketing people are telling the designers, Most people who buy SUVs do it to seem manly, not to stop and fight.2 The most dynamic part of the conversation I'll be forced to come up with will not merely be an inborn trait in humans. You're also surrounded by other people trying to solve: how to have a web-based email service with good spam filtering. The centralizing effect of venture firms is a double one: they cause startups to form around them, and this trend has decades left to run.3 Since a successful startup is going to be entering a market that looks small but which will turn out to be bad.
You can see how great a hold taste is subjective and wanted to kill it once and for all. In either case you let yourself get far downwind of good places to land, your options narrow uncomfortably. Of course, a would-be silicon valley faces an obstacle the original one didn't: it has to grow organically. If you want to do.4 Mark Zuckerberg will never get to bum around a foreign country. There are more and bolder investors in Silicon Valley don't make anything, there's nothing they can be sued for. For Einstein, relativity wasn't a book full of hard ideas, in others they're deliberately written in an obscure way to seem as if they're committing, but which doesn't actually commit them. For example, in preindustrial societies, or how to program computers, or what life was really like in preindustrial societies, or how to program computers, or what constitutes a good dessert, but about whom they feel some misgivings personally. That is certainly true; in fact it will usually be enough to set things rolling. It only spread to places where there was a strong middle class—countries where a private citizen could make a fortune without having it confiscated. Some of the most successful companies we've funded, Octopart, is currently locked in a classic battle of good versus evil. It would be a great problem to have.
Colleges are similar enough that if you can.5 Plenty of people who are really good at lying to tell members of some profession the most common mistakes young founders make is not to try to figure something out. There's no reason to suppose there's any limit to the amount of effort a startup usually puts into a version one, it would be Fred. If you don't know who needs to know something.6 But even then, not immediately. Patents, like police, are involved in many abuses. There are too many dialects of Lisp. But none of the existing solutions are good enough. For nearly all of history the success of your company. You can see this most clearly in New York, recruiting new users and helping existing ones improve their listings. That principle, like the idea that professors should do research as well as money.7 They can teach students about startups?
Hardware startups face an obstacle that software startups don't. At most colleges, it's not surprising we find it funny when a character, even one we like, slips on a banana peel? Occasionally it's obvious from the beginning when there's a path out of an idea? In other words, no one knows who the best programmers are overall. He likes to observe startups for a while at least, tends to require long stretches of uninterrupted time to work. Well, therein lies half the work of essay writing.8 I just gave up. The two-job career. Inexperienced founders read about famous startups doing what was type A fundraising, and decide they should raise money too, since that seems to be how startups work. Colleges are similar enough that if you can't explain your plans concisely, you don't, and that's actually very valuable information.
That was all it took to start successful startups. And who can reasonably expect more of a self fulfilling prophecy than the uphills. The idea of them making startup investments is comic.9 That's how bad the problem has become.10 Fortunately you can also watch real doctors, by volunteering in hospitals. One is that a real essay and the things one has to write in school is that real essays are not exclusively about English literature. Whether cause or effect, this spirit pervaded early universities. Under the present rules, patents are part of the economy always does, in everything from salaries to standards of dress. Whereas I suspect over at General Motors the marketing people are telling the designers, Most people who buy SUVs do it to seem manly, not to stop and fight. But she never does.
Fortran isn't good enough at simulations. Interfaces, as Geoffrey James has said, should follow the principle of least astonishment. And what happens to the company during fundraising, growth will slow. I see someone laugh as they read a draft of an essay. The random college kid you talk to investors your m. 7% is the right amount of stock to give him. In the past this has not been a 100% indicator of success if only anything were but much better than random. How do you do? But that test is not as simple as it sounds.11 Understanding all the implications of what was said to them, they had the luxury of curiosity they rediscovered what we call the classics. And open and good. As usual, by Demo Day about half the startups were doing something significantly different than they started with.
Notes
Selina Tobaccowala stopped to think about, and the cost of writing software. This is an acceptable excuse, but they seem like I overstated the case. We Getting a Divorce? The company may not be led by a central authority according to certain somewhat depressing rules many of the reasons startups are competitive like running, not the primary cause.
I know it's a significant number. They thought I was writing this.
The variation in productivity is the new top story. The Roman commander specifically ordered that he could accept it.
The real decline seems to them.
I was living in a series. There are titles between associate and partner, which can vary a lot of time on, cook up a solution, and I bicycled to University Ave in Palo Alto, but have no idea whether this happens it will seem dumb in 100 years ago. Startups that don't scale is to get users to observe—e. We didn't know ourselves which VC firms.
And the reason this subject is so contentious is that they can get cheap plane tickets, but suburbs are so intellectually dishonest in that so many trade publications nominally have a connection with Aristotle, but Joshua Schachter tells me it was not just on the cover story of Business Week, 31 Jan 2005.
Even if the value of their core values is Don't be evil, they could not have gotten away with dropping Java in the Neolithic period. In my current filter, dick has a similar logic, one could argue that the worm might have done all they could imagine needing in their experiences came not with the earlier stage startups, who've already made the decision. There need to, so they'll understand how lucky they are within any given time I know of no counterexamples, though, so they will fund you one day is the way we pitch startup school was that they use the name of a large chunk of this essay talks about the size of the funds we raised was difficult, and that there's no lower bound to its precision. In the early adopters.
It did not help, the higher the walls become. So what ends up happening is that the highest returns, it's easy for small children, with the buyer's picture on the relative weights?
It's a strange feeling of being absorbed by the financial controls of World War II had disappeared in a startup to an associate if you know about a related phenomenon: he found it easier to sell hardware without trying to capture the service revenue as well. Like the Aeneid, Paradise Lost is a cause.
In the thirties his support of the current edition, which are a small amount of stock the VCs should be. Give the founders of failing startups would even be symbiotic, because sometimes artists unconsciously use tricks by imitating art that does.
So much better than Jessica. So it is generally the common stock holders who take the hit.
Thanks to Ming-Hay Luk of the Berkeley CSUA, Paul Kedrosky, Peter Eng, Ed Dumbill, and Chris Dixon for smelling so good.

Realme 5 Review
In India, it's hard to not have heard of smartphone maker Realme by now. Even though it's a relatively new company, it started life within Oppo, and thanks to aggressive marketing and pricing, it has managed tremendous growth over the past year. With the budget smartphone war constantly escalating, the company wants to disrupt the market once more with its new Realme 5 series and Realme is making the leap from dual to quad cameras on the backs of its phones, across the board, including models which are priced below Rs. 10,000.
Tumblr media
The Realme 5 is a big upgrade over the Realme 3 (Review) across the board, including its processing power, cameras, and battery capacity — which the company hopes will set a new bar for what buyers can expect from a phone in this segment. Armed with an impressive resume of features, it's time to see if the Realme 5 can deliver an equally impressive Android experience.
Realme 5 design Realme has updated its design language a bit with the Realme 5. The phone still uses a polycarbonate body with a laminated plastic back, but it's taller than the Realme 3 and features a larger display. The design of the diamond pattern on the back has been updated to a more crystalline pattern, which looks neat and helps the phone stand out. The Crystal Blue finish that we have is very striking, but if you're looking for subtlety, the Crystal Purple option would be a better pick. Also, minor scuffs from everyday use are going to be less visible on the purple version than they will be on the blue Realme 5.
The size of this phone does make one-handed use quite cumbersome, and even with large hands, we struggled to tap anywhere near the top of the display. Thankfully, ColorOS offers a one-handed mode to help tackle this issue. The Realme 5 is a bit heavy too, at nearly 200g. Button placement and tactile feedback of the volume and power buttons are good and at the bottom, we have the single speaker, headphone socket, and a Micro-USB charging port.
The front has a 6.5-inch HD+ (720x1600 pixels) resolution display, with a small dewdrop notch and fairly slim bezels all around. The notch is slightly smaller on the Realme 5, although it's not easily noticeable at first glance. There's scratch protection in the form of Corning's Gorilla Glass 3 as well. The display also has a pre-applied screen guard, which got annoying for us pretty quickly but your mileage will likely vary. We found the brightness to be more than adequate, and colours had good saturation. The sharpness of text and icons isn't the best but this is only noticeable if you use this phone side-by-side with one that has a full-HD (or higher) screen.
The Realme 5 is among the first set of Realme phones to pack in four cameras at the back, but we'll get into the details of this later on. There's a fingerprint sensor in the middle of the rear, which works well, and there's face recognition too. Just like previous Realme offerings, face recognition is very quick. In low light, the screen compensates for the lack of light so you can unlock your phone even in the dark.
Last but not least, Realme says that this phone features multi-layer humidity protection for the SIM slots, gaps, battery cover, etc, and says it should be able to survive light splashes of water. In the box, the Realme 5 ships with a silicone case, a 10W adapter, a Micro-USB cable, an extra screen guard, a SIM eject tool, and the usual quick start and warranty booklets.
Realme 5 specifications and software The Realme 5 is the first phone to be announced in India with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. As its name indicates, this processor sits between the Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 675. This SoC is built on an 11nm fabrication process, so it's more power efficient than the Snapdragon 660 and it even uses the same Kryo 260 cores. The integrated GPU has been upgraded to the Adreno 610, which should enable better gaming performance.
The Realme 5 is available in three variants — 3GB of RAM with 32GB of storage (Rs. 9,999); 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage (Rs. 10,999); and the one we have, which has 4GB RAM with 128GB of storage (Rs. 11,999). Other Realme 5 specifications include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, slots for two Nano-SIMs plus a microSD card of up to 256GB in capacity, support for four satellite navigation systems, USB-OTG, FM radio, and the usual suite of sensors.
The Realme 5 ships with ColorOS 6.0.1, which is the latest version of it. Realme has added a few cosmetic refinements to the interface, compared to what we recently saw in the Realme X (Review). Our unit also had the July 2019 Android security patch at the time of our review.Realme says it has refined the look and feel of some of its app icons and UI elements based on user feedback. The company's own apps, such as ORoaming, Calculator, etc, have a flatter, cleaner look.
ColorOS has gotten rid of the oversized bubbles around notification toggles switches, for a flatter and cleaner look too. The battery section in the Settings app is also a lot easier to read compared to the previous version, although we're still waiting on that battery level graph.
We didn't have any issues with spammy notifications from apps on this phone. You still get the same plethora of preinstalled apps as always, including DailyHunt, Helo, etc, but all of these can be uninstalled.
Realme 5 performance and battery life We generally had a good experience using the Realme 5 on a daily basis. We got used to the thickness and weight of this phone after a couple of days, even though we found it top-heavy and one-handed use continued to be a challenge. The bundled phone case doesn't add much bulk, and provides a layer of protection to the back. The display offers very good sunlight legibility and its size makes it great for media consumption. There's no Widevine L1 support, though, which means video streaming apps won't be able to play content at HD or higher resolutions.
The AnTuTu benchmark refused to run completely, but in all our other standard tests, we got fairly good numbers. In PCMark, we got a score of 7,719 points, while the T-Rex graphics test in GFXbench managed 50fps. Compared to the Helio P70 in the Realme 3 and even the recent Oppo A9 (Review), the Snapdragon 665 generally has slightly better scores in gaming benchmarks but for CPU, its pretty neck and neck.
Realme 5 cameras This is where things get really interesting. The Realme 5 is the first phone with four cameras to be priced under Rs. 10,000 in India, and the company is really driving this point home. Other than the primary 12-megapixel primary sensor and 2-megapixel depth sensor, Realme has given this phone an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera with a 119 degree field of view, and a 2-megapixel macro camera for closeup shots. The primary camera has an f/1.8 aperture and PDAF, so focusing is quick. The ultra-wide-angle camera lacks autofocus but you can use Nightscape with it. The macro lens has a very narrow aperture of f/2.8, so it's not useful in low light. During the day however, you can get some really detailed closeups.
Verdict The Realme 5 is a significant upgrade over the Realme 3 (Review), and the fact that its pricing starts just below Rs. 10,000 is commendable. Compared to the Realme 3, you get a slightly better processor, nearly two-day long battery life, and improved cameras. Plus, the addition of the wide-angle and macro cameras definitely gives you more creative freedom to capture different types of shots.
Some things to keep in mind are the weight and size of this phone. The bigger battery has made it heavy, and the tall display might not suit everyone, especially if your routine involves a lot of one-handed use. The cameras also struggle in low light, for both stills and video.
Considering you get a dedicated slot for storage expansion, the base variant of the Realme 5 offers better value compared to the 128GB version, which feels a little expensive considering there are phones in the sub-Rs. 15,000 segment that offers higher resolution displays, fast charging and equal or better processors such as the the Redmi Note 7S (Review) and the Realme 3 Pro (Review). If you don't mind the HD display, then the Realme 5 is still worth getting for its big battery and versatile wide and macro cameras.

The Realm of Gouache
I did it! I finally got that gouache set I'd been eyeing down the way my cats watch their food containers!   The gouache I'm referring to is this Miya/Himi Gouache set of 18 for anyone who's curious. It seems to have sort of taken the art community corner of Youtube by storm lately, and that combined with the way the set is designed, I've been really wanting to try gouache lately anyway, and it's pretty reasonably priced at around $20, depending on where you get it, it seemed like a good place to start with the medium. Gouache, to those that might not know, is a cousin to watercolor. (Well, traditional gouache is, anyway. There's also acrylic gouache, which is a closer cousin to acrylic paint, but that's a discussion for another day; I'm focusing on the typical kind of gouache here) It's made with the same binding agent--water-soluble gum arabic--but usually it's processed differently. Most companies use more pigment (the substance that gives any paint its color) and larger particles of it in their gouache compared to what you would find in watercolor, and there's usually some additional chalk-like additive to make the paint more opaque than watercolor. You'll sometimes even see gouache referred to as "opaque watercolor." For the same reasons, gouache is usually more expensive than watercolor or acrylics and while with a little patience you can make it into cakes/pans, it normally works much better fresh from the tube, and so it's much more often sold in tubes. What does all that mean, though? Well, gouache paint is more opaque and less transparent than watercolors without much water, giving it the color and covering power one might expect more from acrylic paints. But you can reactivate gouache with water, so you can also water it down and use it more like watercolors if you want to, and when you start layering it you can reactivate the layers underneath to aid with blending, which in my opinion is a trait that reminds me a little of how oil paints are praised for their slow-drying, "superior" blending capabilities. Based on that, personally, I continue to be surprised how little-known and how much of a niche painting option gouache seems to be. The only real "culprit" to me for why that is is the usually higher price tag, but even then...I don't know, it still doesn't make sense to me. The qualities it has that put it somewhere between acrylics and watercolors just make it seem like a really good beginner's choice to me, since you can learn some techniques for both and then if you branch out to one of the other two, it might make the transition easier. But I digress; we can debate on the finer points of gouache's place in the art world some other time. This was my first time using gouache at all, so I can't really give a proper review on this specific set of gouache (as I have nothing else to compare it to and I have no experience with the medium; it just wouldn't be fair), but I can give my thoughts on working with gouache in general and give a first-timer's perspective on it. Although I do have to say I found it interesting that there is pigment information available for the set online, even though the actual set doesn't have the pigment information or color names printed anywhere. (At least not in English.) Most lower/student-grade art supplies don't list that information anywhere. This specific set of gouache also stands out because the gouache isn't in tubes, but rather in little 30ml. cups that look like tiny jello or pudding containers. These cups all have their own slot in a very sturdy plastic case with a lid that snaps shut on both sides and a mixing plate that fits inside the lid. And I cannot stress enough that when this thing is listed as being about 2.5 lbs, they're not kidding! I was surprised by how heavy it actually was when it came in the mail, and after taking all the gouache cups out so I could peel off the little foil seals (most of which did try to take some paint with them, but I saved them short-term to try and make use of as much of it as possible before chucking them in the trash), I can confirm that most of the weight is coming from the paint itself. And it's really nice actually since most paint sets that come with a lot of individual containers of colors (usually tubes), the standard size is anywhere between 5 and 22 ml. By comparison, 30ml. seems pretty generous. The color choices in the set are pretty interesting, but also pretty well-rounded for a smaller, possibly more beginner-oriented set. You get both a warm and cool of the primaries (red, yellow, blue), a black, two whites (which we're going to talk about more in a moment), some earth tones in the form of a darker brown, a rust color, and an ochre color, and some "convenience" colors including a purple, magenta/hot pink/rose color, a teal, and some greens. Now about those whites... I'll try and spare you the nitty-gritty details of pigments and their uses, but in general most well-versed paint companies have more than one type of white paint on offer, and not all white paints and/or pigments are equal. Usually, you'll find a "Titanium White" and some other variation of White, possibly a "Zinc" or "Chinese" white. Normally, Titanium White is a specific pigment that's different from the other whites, but that same pigment can be processed differently in order to look and function more like the other white pigments (and other white pigments don't always have to be listed if they've been added to it). This matters because "Titanium White" is the most common type of white, and it's meant to be used primarily as white by itself because of its specific traits. The other whites are usually more transparent and work better for mixing with other colors. This is most likely why this set and others you'll find come with two whites; in this case, one specifically labeled as "Titanium White" and the other as just "White." One so you have a white color, and one for mixing. (Don't you just love how amazingly confusing pigment information can make things! ) This is fine and actually preferable to me, as it keeps you from using twice as much of just one white, so hopefully, you won't go through it quite so fast. The only problem I have with this is that I feel like my two whites might've gotten switched at some point since so far my "Titanium White" seems to act more like a white for mixing, and my "White" seems to act more like a traditional Titanium White. I did take all of the paint cups out at one point so I could open them and put them back in the palette/container, but I tried to make specifically sure I didn't get any of the colors mixed up. Still, accidents happen, and it could be they were switched before my set even arrived to me, if they are indeed switched. I intend to do some more testing to try and make sure if that's what happened or if it's some kind of user-error in using them. Anyway. After I did my swatching and a tiny bit of extra swatching/playing to get a taste of how the gouache worked beyond what my research beforehand had told me, it was time to play with it in a more proper art setting. I had a piece of Canson XL watercolor paper leftover from another project that I sliced in half to make it a more manageable size, and I used a circular cardstock insert that I saved from a roll of tape to give me a nice large circle to work with. I figured a planet out in space would provide a good opportunity to play with gouache's more watercolor-like properties and it's more opaque unique properties. And plus a cursory Pinterest search told me that when you're making fictional planets there's not much in the way of right or wrong, which was comforting since I barely knew what I was doing. So I masked off the circle and started out with a couple of coats of the beautiful Prussian Blue from the set (seriously, I don't know why but I was really enamored with this color) and varying amounts of water to do the sky. I had already found out that while you technically can use gouache without water, it feels a lot better to me if you add just a little to make it flow and spread more readily, and this was no different. I'm just not an expert yet at getting just enough to smooth it out without also thinning out the color.  Still, I actually really like this stroked look for this piece, which is why I didn't try harder to layer it up to make it more solid. And I wish I could describe my process for the planet itself just as concisely, but I really just started going in with the colors I liked the most from the set--Ultramarine, Violet, Rose, Jade Green--and layering up thinner washes of color a little at a time in lines and curves to try and get a visual texture that makes sense for a planet. The most issues I had here were really my fault and not the paints', as I was trying to any color mixing pretty straight-on the paper and I had a tendency to put some color down and try a little too hard to blend it out, to the point it was just kinda mixed into what was already there. And I will note here that it seemed like the less watered-down the gouache was, the more quickly it dried. and the more water was added to it, it dried very noticeably more slowly. Now to be fair, that's usually how paint works anyway, but it just felt a lot more noticeable here for some reason. It could've been the paper, or the paint, or just me, or a combination of all of those things. I'm not sure. At that point it was getting late, I was getting tired, and I felt like the painting could probably benefit from being left to dry overnight before I played with it anymore. The next day I came back to it, starting with some spots of white since one of my whites did have a tiny circle in it where some of the binder had separated from the paint and it was bothering my brain to leave it unmixed, which naturally ended up in me having some white paint loaded on to my brush to use. I don't count that against the paint though since even some professional quality paints can settle out from the binder, especially if it's been sitting unused for a while. Usually, you just have to mix it back in and it's fine. The white was a wee bit too intense just sitting on top, so then I went back it with a little here and a little there of the colors I'd been using before and tried to fade out a bit of a curve shadow with the Prussian Blue. I even went as far as to try using a different, flat, brush and blending it a little bit differently, which created this effect that kind of reminds me of a waterfall in some areas. Then was that was dry, I decided that the planet itself was pretty much done. Which meant there was one more thing I needed to try... I masked off the circle again and went back to the "titanium white" and a little water, and starting tapping my brush against another brush to make splatter-stars. I was actually kind of surprised by how well this worked since I usually use my white ink, which seems to spend all of its usable splatters a lot faster than the gouache did. (For instance, I could usually get about 3 taps out of the ink before I'd have to dip back into it; the gouache I was able to get about 5+ good taps per dip.) And fortunately getting the water-to-gouache balance wasn't as hard as I thought it would be for effective splattering, and I managed to not get too much any one time so I didn't have any notable spots or problems from that. I did, of course, go back and add a few extra star details with my white gel pens, but that's standard practice even when I use the white ink. It may not be the most complex or thorough usage of the gouache, but for a first attempt, I felt pretty content with how it came out and to what ends I'd explored the properties of the gouache. That said, anyone who knows me knows I already have plans bubbling for some more involved tests/projects involving the gouache.  Some of which I even decided on before the gouache got here in the mail. But either way, so far I really like the gouache and I'm looking forward to playing with it more and really seeing what it can do. Thanks to watercolors and alcohol markers, I've gotten pretty used to working from light to dark, but it is really nice to be able to add light back in a lot more easily if you need to. And I really love that the gouache reactivates the way that it does; Usually, I can get my watercolors to reactivate but I have to be exceedingly careful to keep from getting back runs or waterlines. I didn't seem to have that problem here at all, so I'm hoping this means I'll have an easier time trying to blend certain things when using gouache as opposed to watercolor going forward. Time will tell, I suppose. Now if you'll excuse me, Inktober is upon us and I have work to do! ____ Artwork © me, MysticSparkleWings ____ Where to find me & my artwork: My Website | Commission Info + Prices | Ko-Fi | dA Print Shop | RedBubble |   Twitter | Tumblr | Instagram

Top 3 Best Vacuums For Laminate Floors in 2019
We all love our laminate floors. It’s beautiful and great for our busy families, but keeping it clean can be challenging. That’s why we need the best vacuum for laminate floors to make the job a little easier. When you have all the fun messes like kids tracking dirt, pet hair, allergies and more, you need a strong vacuum designed for the uniqueness of laminate wood.
Tumblr media
Here’s our review of the top 5 best vacuums for laminate floors that are sure to make cleaning easier! And remember that laminate floors are different than correct wood flooring. We did a separate review of great steam mops for hardwood floors here.
You can see my more article here: Floors Vacuums
Shark Rocket Ultra-Light Upright
Pros Ease of use, one of the easier uprights to use Low weight means anyone can handle it with ease (only 8 lbs) Long 32-foot cord for extended cleaning LED lights to see under furniture Works well on low pile carpet HV322 model is great on pet hair Has micro-fiber pad to wipe and sweep the floor
Cons Slightly more expensive Occasionally the brush fails and needs maintenance Small dust cup requires frequent dumping The micro-fiber pad must be cleaned every few uses
No HEPA filter The Shark Rocket is an upright bagless vacuum that can cover bare floors and carpets with two times the power of the original model. It comes in two designs (HV321 and HV322) with only one significant difference between them. The HV322 has an extra brush specifically for pet hair. If you have pets, go with the HV322. If not, save a few bucks and use the HV321. They’re the same vacuum otherwise.
This vacuum comes in at only 8 pounds which makes it insanely light and easy to maneuver around.
The Shark Rocket has fun LED lights on the hand unit and nozzle as well as advanced swivel steering. This vacuum comes with several attachments, including onboard storage clip, dusting brush, crevice tool, the Hard Floor Genie and a tool for pet hair (only on HV322 as mentioned), as well as a microfiber pad.
The Hard Floor Genie and microfiber pad make this an excellent vacuum for hard laminate floors. The Genie is the attachment that removes the spinning brush from the equation,
so you don’t damage those laminate floors. The microfiber pad essentially “wipes” the story as you vacuum over it. However, be warned that the microfiber pad works better when pushed in one direction (i.e., only forward) and tends to get dirty quickly.
The Rocket has “Never Loses Suction, Never Loses Power” technology but can do so without the usual weight most upright models have. Quick transitions for cleaning different areas or terrains is easily handled with the quick release foot pedal. The Rocket’s extension wand also makes reaching between tight spaces or up high very quickly.
The last great aspect of the Shark Rocket is the ability to clean other surfaces besides laminate. Many customers have raved about how well it vacuums carpet also. The price of this Rocket is also very reasonable compared to some other high-end products.
The biggest downfall of the Rocket is the small dust cup that can fill up quickly. Large rooms can require multiple trips to the garbage to empty it. Also, the Rocket does not have a HEPA filter which could affect some people.
This upright vacuum space has become full of strong contenders, but the range of features, attachments and the high level of performance while keeping the weight off puts the HV322 in the top of the pack if you can afford it.
The Best Hoover Vacuum For Laminate Floors Pros Long 30-foot cord for extended cleaning 3-in-1 combo tool for additional cleaning The apparatus includes 30-inch wand and 8-foot star hose Can turn the brush on or off with the switch Has HEPA filter A lower end of the price range
Cons Some complaints about attachment hose being weak Attachments can be cumbersome Smaller dirt cup requires frequent dumping Concerning weight, the Hoover Windtunnel is one of the lightest full-size upright bagless model available currently, clocking in at just 12 pounds. Hoover is a well-known brand for a good reason, and the extensive history and research went into creating this vacuum shines through.
The unique Windtunnel technology helps to prevent dirt blowback on rugs and carpets. This also helps it pick up pet hair better than most. The Hoover also features a very well adjusted, easily cleaned and reusable HEPA filter. This filter can trap 99.97% of all collected dirt, debris, dust and other allergens commonly found in the home, which is especially crucial for laminate floors, where so much outside allergen material gets brought inside.
However, remember to let the HEPA filter dry thoroughly before replacing it. Otherwise, you risk ruining it.
This Hoover vacuum works the best for laminate and hardwood floors and can do a decent job on low pile carpet. If you need this also to handle thick, high carpet, you should look elsewhere.
The Windtunnel has a brush which can be turned on or off depending on the surface. It has an adjustable handle for height and a long 30-foot cord for extensive cleaning. It has a one-touch release button on the dirt cup for easy emptying into garbage cans.
The one-touch release allows for quick fit changes between attachments and onboard tools. The extendable wand can expand over 11 feet also to reach high places.
One big drawback is the small dirt cup. It needs to be changed more frequently than other full-size vacuums, but not nearly as often as the Shark Rocket.
Another drawback was that some people found the attachment setup too cumbersome for easy use. This may or may not affect you, but it’s good to note.
All over, an excellent entrant to the upright full-size bagless vacuum market from a well-respected brand. The HEPA filter may be of interest to allergen sensitive households. This vacuum is worthwhile if you can pick it up on sale.
Shark Rocket Complete DuoClean
Pros Specially designed with dual-brushes for laminate and low carpet Easy swivel steering to also get under furniture Long 30-foot cord for extended cleaning Great on pet hair Low weight under 10 lbs. Cons Higher price point No HEPA filter
Does not stand on its own (needs to lean against something) We know Shark makes great vacuums and it shows as this is their second on the list. The Shark Diocletian is geared toward the higher end models of laminate and bare floor vacuums.
What is the first sign of this vacuum higher quality is the duel rotating brushes. That’s right… Two rotating brushes to pick up dirt (both free-flowing and stuck on), large particles, and more. It has a soft brush roll and a traditional bristle brush for the extra-deep clean that’s still gentle on laminate floors.
The Rocket comes in just under 10 lbs, so it’s still straightforward to use and has the standard swivel technology we see in many other stick vacuums.
It also has a detachable TruePet motorized brush to help get that pet hair off couches and chairs. This is extremely useful for those of us with furry friends who shed way too much.
The Rocket does have a cord (so it’s not cordless), but it’s a beautiful 30 feet which should be enough to hit multiple rooms without worry. It has a nice size dust cup compared to other stick models, but it’s still smaller than a standard vacuum dust bin or bag.
The significant drawbacks on this Rocket model are the price and the fact it does not stand very well. The Rocket clearly states in the operational manual that it will not stand on its own. So you always have to lean it against something. This can be frustrating for some people. It also runs a little more expensive since you get more quality.

How Do Air Compressors Work?
Air compressors are an invaluable tool for both industrial work and DIY at home, and there are several different types to choose from depending on the job you need doing. Air compressors have a number of uses, such as to fill gas cylinders for industrial purposes and scuba diving, to create the power needed to run pneumatic tools and spray guns, for pumping up automotive tyres, and within heating and air conditioning systems.
As we’ve touched on here, there are myriad uses for screw air compressor both in commercial and domestic environments. Within the category of air guns, there are several types, each of which is suitable for a different job. We’ve compiled a guide to all the major types of air compressor, how they work and how they differentiate from one another.
Whether you’re an engineering manager or in charge of facilities for your company, being informed about how air compressors function and what they’re used for is handy and can help you make the proper decisions for your business and industry.
Get all the information you need to know about air compressors, complete with the infographic below, with our comprehensive guide. We’ll address the benefits of using premium air compressors in your industry, as well as the questions of ‘what are compressors?’ and ‘how does a compressor work?’, covering all the essentials in one convenient place.
The infographic below shows how a Hydrovane series rotary sliding vane air compressor works
Since their invention in the 19th Century, mechanical, automated air compressors have continued to be one of the most widely used tools in industrial settings. Air compressors provide a continuous stream of power that is safer and cooler than many other forms of energy. For many industries, such as metal work and mining environments, air compressors are an absolutely essential tool. After the basic utilities of water, gas and electric, compressed air is actually considered to be the fourth utility.
Air compressors are also an affordable choice of tool for many manufacturing jobs, as they are durable, and high quality types require minimal maintenance and repairs.
Between the two main categories of compressor – the scroll (piston) compressor and the rotary screw (reciprocating) compressor, you have a tool for every type of industrial and commercial setting, as well as various domestic uses.
The most common types of regular screw air compressor are single and dual phase, both of which operate in the same fundamental way, only dual phase has one more step involved in the compression process. In a single phase compressor, there is one chamber and the air is compressed a single time; in a dual phase, there are two chambers and the air is put through compression twice.
Be careful not to confuse single and dual phase compressors with the number of cylinders a compressor has. Both types of compressor use two cylinders; one-cylinder compressors are less common, because air balancing is made easier with two cylinders. The difference between single and dual stage compressors is that in the former the cylinders are both the same size; in the latter they are different sizes.
How Do Single and Dual Phase Compressors Operate?
Single phase compressors, also referred to as piston air compressors, works in a relatively simple and straightforward way. First, air is drawn into the cylinder; from here, it is compressed once by a single piston movement within a vacuum system.
The power of this compression is measured in PSI (pounds per square inch) or Bar – the higher the PSI/Bar, the more power the compressor has. In a single stage air compressor, the air is typically compressed at a rate of around 120 PSI (8.2 Bar). After the air has been compressed, it is sent into the storage tank from where it is dispelled into various tools as a source of energy.
Dual phase compressors operate the same way, except there are two stages of compression, rather than just one. After the first round of compression, the air is sent into a second chamber, where it is compressed for the second time, at a rate of around 175 PSI (12.1 Bar). After this, the air is sent to a storage tank in which it is cooled down and ready for application.
Both types of compressor are typically powered by either an electric or petrol motor, which drives the piston and causes the compression to happen.
Single Phase and Dual Phase Applications
Both function in fundamentally the same way and can be used for similar tasks, such as operating a pneumatic drill or other high-powered tools such as those found in a manufacturing plant.
Single phase compressors tend to be used within domestic settings for smaller workshop jobs done with handheld tools, such as woodwork, metal work and general DIY.
Dual phase compressors, on the other hand, are better for larger scale work in operations such as operations needed in vehicle repair shops, pressing factories and other plants where parts are manufactured.
Oil-Free vs. Oil-lubricated Air Compressors
Another way to compare variable frequency air compressor is to look at whether they use oil or not – there are oil-free and oil-based / lubricated compressors and both are suited to slightly different jobs. For the air to be drawn into the chamber safely and effectively, the piston needs to be in top working order. To work properly, the piston must be lubricated with oil.
With regards to lubrication, there are two main types of compressor to choose from: oil-free and oil-based. The oil is used on the cylinder to ensure the compression goes smoothly.
The Difference Between Oil-Free and Oil-Based Compressors
Oil-free air compressors already have a lubricated cylinder (often with a non-stick material such as Teflon) and therefore require no further maintenance to work properly. Oil-based compressors require oil to be added to the piston area and changed regularly. Just how often you need to change the oil will be outlined in the manufacturer’s manual that came with your compressor.
On the whole, oil-free compressors tend to weigh a lot less than oil-based compressors, as not only do they not have the weight of the oil, but they are more compact machines, requiring fewer separate parts to make them work. Oil-free compressors, being less complex in design, also tend to be more affordable than oil-based compressors.
However, although they’re more weighty and expensive, oil-based compressors have their benefits. For one thing, they are strong and durable, and usually have a longer lifespan than their oil-free counterparts. This is usually because over time the greasing material (usually Teflon) begins to wear down and lose its lubrication abilities.
Another important factor that should be considered when choosing between an oil-free and oil-based compressor is that the oil-less version tends to heat up faster and to a higher temperature than those which use oil. Compressors without oil also make a lot more noise than those with, so if you want a less noisy workplace, this is a factor to consider too.
Oil-Free and Oil-based Compressor Applications
Oil-free compressors are a great option for those in need of a lightweight, low maintenance tool for home use. Oil-based compressors are better suited to heavy duty jobs and commercial and industrial use, as although they’re generally heavier and require more maintenance, they are also more robust and versatile.
For industrial purposes and extensive, day-long use, oil-based compressors are by far the best option. If you’re looking to invest in quality compressors for your business, opting for oil-based machines is almost certainly the best route to take.
Within an industrial or commercial setting, there are numerous uses for oil-based PM screw air compressor, including:
Vehicle painting and repairs
Sanding and woodwork
Creating snow banks in ski centres
Tools within dentistry and other medical environments
Pneumatic construction tools such as nail guns
Air cleaning tools such as blowguns
Oil-free compressors can be used for domestic use, such as small-scale jobs like blowing up balloons, home workshop and DIY jobs. They are also largely used in industries where there is a need to avoid the product or consumer coming into contact with oil: food and beverage, pharmaceutical and dental, for example. In these sensitive applications, the consequences of having oil contamination in the air are too high to risk, so having an oil free compressor is a must. There is compressed air quality testing from the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) which oil-free technology can help you achieve.
Fixed vs. Variable Air Compressors
Another factor to consider when choosing the right type of air compressor for your industry is whether they’re equipped with fixed or variable speed. Let’s take a closer look at what these different types of compressor can do for you.
The main difference between air compressors that use a fixed speed system and those that use variable speed is the manner in which the motor gets its power. The compression element is much the same across all machines, but the way the motor operates has an effect on the usability, efficiency and lifespan of the machine.
How Do VSD Compressors Work?
Variable speed compressors (often referred to as VSD (Variable Speed Drive) or VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) – compressors) operates by automatically adjusting the motor speed in accordance with the demand for air. This happens through a system that converts voltage from the mains power supply into a variable frequency.
Power is drawn through a converter, inside which it is converted twice. First, it converts AC power into DC power using diodes. A capacitor then cleans the AC, and then converts it to DC using a transistor, which acts as switches. These switches control the frequency of power sent to the motor, which in turn controls the speed of the motor.
A VSD air compressor contains this technology, allowing the speed of the motor and the amount of air compression used to be closely controlled. There are pros and cons to both variable speed compressors and their counterpart, fixed speed compressors – check them out below to decide which one is best for your industry.
Fixed Speed Pros and Cons
Fixed speed air compressors send a consistent, continuous stream of power into the motor, which gives you a reliable frequency in all your air compression jobs. The initial cost of fixed speed compressors is lower than that of variable speed compressors, is easier and cheaper to maintain and is a must-have within industries where the power demand is continuous.
This type of compressor is, however, less efficient than its variable speed counterpart. It is also less efficient at saving energy, and can therefore be more expensive to run, with fewer incentives available too.
Variable Speed Pros and Cons
Variable speed air compressors allow you to control the voltage and the frequency of the power in the motor, giving the user more agency over the tool. This type of compressor is more efficient when it comes to power usage, as you can easily control your output and only use what you need. Many industries will find that this type of air compressor is ideal, as it can be used in line with the demand of the job. When less power is needed, you can easily adjust the speed of the compressor, saving money and protecting the environment at the same time.
The downsides of a variable speed compressor are that there is a higher initial capital cost to pay, and maintenance and repairs are more expensive too. They are also not well suited to applications that require a continuous stream of power.
Piston Compressors, Scroll Compressors & Rotary Screw Compressors
So far in this article, all the compressors mentioned are operated using pistons, which is a generic system for one type of compressor – the scroll compressor, also known as a reciprocating air compressor. The other type is the rotary screw compressor, which doesn’t have pistons and operates in a slightly different way.
Here’s a quick overview of how scroll compressors and rotary screw / reciprocating compressors work, and what the unique benefits are of each of them.
Scroll Compressors
Scroll compressors are a type of piston compressor, and are also called reciprocating compressors. These are the most common type of two stage air compressor, due to affordability and general availability. But how does a reciprocating air compressor work? The piston system works by having a piston travel downwards, decreasing the pressure inside its internal cylinder through the creation of a vacuum. The sudden change in pressure causes the door of the cylinder to be forced open, and draw air in. When the piston travels up again, the air is forced out of the cylinder at a much higher pressure point. This continues in a reciprocating, ‘scroll’ pattern, hence its name.
Pros and Cons of Scroll Compressors
Pros:
Cools down quickly
More efficient use of energy
Cons:
Higher initial capital cost
More complex parts – harder to maintain
Rotary Screw Compressors
Rather than using pistons, rotary screw compressors rely on rollers to do the compression. Rollers are positioned just off the middle of the central shaft to ensure that one side of the roller is always in contact with the wall. The rollers are powered, rotating extremely fast, causing the same result as scroll compressors: they draw in air at a low pressure and force it out at a higher pressure.
Pros and Cons of Rotary Screw Compressors
Pros:
Good power capacity
Lower initial capital price
Easy to maintain
Cons:
Limited cooling abilities
Require continuous maintenance checks
How Do Low Noise Air Compressors Work?
One complaint often heard around air compressors is that some of them are noisy due to friction and a power source, which can be distracting and inconvenient for both commercial and domestic use. The industry has risen to deal with these complaints however, and there are several low noise air compressors to choose from, offering a decibel rating of around 40 dB.
40 dB is considered low noise; 60 dB is considered the safest decibel level for compressors; anything over 85 dB could cause long-lasting damage to your hearing, and you should avoid being exposed to this level for extended periods of time.
Low noise and silent air compressors are available in both oil-free and oil-based versions, so just how is the silencing effect achieved?
As well as choosing compressors with low decibel levels, one aspect of this technology that makes a big difference is the inclusion of an acoustic chamber for containing the noise. Another tip is to opt for electric-powered compressors, rather than gas-powered, as the former type of power source makes for a quieter machine.
The Bottom Line
Which type of air compressor you go for depends on a variety of factors. You first need to consider what application the compressors will be used for? Do you need it for continuous, ongoing use in large industrial machinery, or will it be used sporadically? Your answers to these questions will help you decide on whether to go for variable or fixed speed compressors.
Another question that you must factor into your decision is: how much do you want to spend? Remember that the initial price of a quality compressor is not the only expense associated with a compressor; consider also the cost of the power needed to run the machine, plus any related ongoing maintenance and repair costs. How much time and energy will investing in high quality compressors save your company? These are all important calculations that should be made before making your decision.

Which brand of cordless drills is best for 2021?
Power tools are designed to complete projects for home improvement in less time and to maximize performance. There are several different types of power tools on the market, and although each has its own set of uses and benefits, they can be confusing for new homeowners.
Circular saw, Table saw, Drill/Driver, Random Orbital Sander, Jigsaw, Rotary Tool, Cordless Screwdriver are some examples of useful power tools.
It might be a little more expensive, but there is nothing wrong with paying more for a more effective product. People who use a heavy-duty tool such as cordless drills in Dubai on a daily basis should purchase these products because it better fits their needs and makes their job easier. Make an informed choice and choose the right cordless power tools for your needs.
In this blog, we will discuss the different types of Drills.
What is a Drill?
A drill is a tool that makes holes or drives fasteners using rotation or a chipping motion. It has a chuck that secures a bit, either a drill or a driver, depending on the application. A hammer feature is available on some powered drills. Drills, for example, cordless drills in Dubai differ in terms of speed, strength, and scale.
Different Types of Drills
Hammer Drill
Regular drill bits are used in the hammer drill, which can be used on stone, masonry, wood, and metal. Concrete is the only substance that cannot be drilled with a hammer drill.
Rotary Power Drill
Unlike hammer boilers, rotary power boilers are powered by air pressure. They are usually longer lasting than hammer drills and have three settings; drill mode, hammer drill, or simply a hammer that functions as a mini jackhammer.
SDS Drill
SDS is built for stone, masonry, and particularly concrete designed with special SDS drill bits. There are also SDS pads that can be chiseled, so substance layers such as concrete or cement can be removed. A special SDS chuck adapter is required for drilling in materials such as wood and metal.
Impact Drill
Impact drills have a revolving hammer and anvil mechanism inside instead of a forward chipping mechanism. The hammer hits the anvil vigorously as it spins, providing much more turning power than a normal drill.
Core Drill
A core drill is a drill that has been supercharged. It’s essentially a big motor that’s often mounted on a frame to keep it constantly when drilling. Instead of grinding out the entire space, it turns a core bit—a cylindrical bit that provides a core to extract. It does nothing but spins the bit. There are no applications for hammering, chipping, or walking.
Cordless Drill
These instruments are ideal for screwdriving but can also drill wood and metal. Although they are not suitable for drilling in concrete, cordless drills with an impact function can be used to drill in masonry. If there is no local power supply, the cordless versatility of these methods is a major asset.
A cordless drill in Dubai can be used anywhere, while a corded drill requires the use of an extension cord or connection to electricity.
Cordless drills in Dubai come with a variety of voltages, including 12V, 14.4V, and 18V. Higher-voltage drills are not only efficient with more features, but also they are larger and heavier than lower-voltage drills. Another benefit of using a corded power drill is that it provides more power at a consistent cost. This is the best option for jobs that require more effort and have a higher workload.
A cordless drill has the following applications:
Replacing the Screwdriver: To remove and mount screws, the cordless drill driver works counterclockwise.
Pilot Holes: Before inserting a screw into a wood surface that can break, use a cordless drill to drill a pilot hole. Wood splits can be minimized by drilling a pilot hole before inserting the screw.
Drywall Installation: When it comes to drywall installation, cordless drills come in handy.
Concrete: A cordless hammer drill is essential for bolting down any outdoor furniture to a concrete surface and for driving bolts into concrete.

Hey Everyone,
It appears that if you throw enough light at a Dragoon’s camo system all at once you can cause it to glitch out. That helps level the playing field some.
Thanks for reading,
– Luther out
Comment Text Follows:
killercow - Knuckledusters oughta’ give that armor a run for it’s money.
nweismuller - Well, that explains Lawman-Actual’s unusual weapon. I was wondering about that.
tkg - interesting I notice a dead patch on the rear left side-shield/armor area near where the dragoon was hit earlier…do the areas auto compensate? for knocked out areas within reason?
nweismuller - I’m not sure that’s a dead area- I think that’s a portion of the shoulder blown away.
Madorakas - I just (naiv) figured the camo system let the light trough. Turns out it just mimics whats behind it and shows it in front. Also i want to know more about this “Knuckdusters”.
Keith - Good lateral thinking. Even in daylight more light makes stuff show up and illume will provide a localized change in viewable spectrums. If memory serves radar doesn’t see them when cloaked either. I wonder how well it stealths against UV…which I’ve long thought they need to switch NVG’s and scopes to, why arent’ they using thermal? You can’t hide heat.
Sazuroi - If it was the light deflection cloaking system I described in one of my comments on the last page, it could potentially deflect all electromagnatic waves, each with a specified set of nanoscale “hairs” (I’m not sure how broad the range of wavelengths is that can be deflected with the existing technology). Heat radiation, which is largely in the infrared spectrum, is actually “larger” than visible light, so the light deflection material could potentially also deflect that, possibly enabling near-perfect heat managment and direction if used internally. That would at least make it exceedingly hard to find a unit cloaked in this way with infrared. Going by this it seems to be the fairly simple projection system, or something more complicated like a hologram in the air created by lasers (which has also been done, like the light deflection material, but in a very basic form, just balls of light hovering inside a laser cage, not sure if the cage was even filled with normal air). The laser hologram seems more fitting since the damaged parts are also hidden. This system could potentially also duplicate a heat signature (yes, there also is a system to duplicate heat signatures, why are you even asking? XD) but it would be more likely for this functionality to be integrated into the armor because the existing system for this is applied to the outside, like ERA. So, basically, if in 50 years we can’t build something like the Dhuvalian Limbs in reality, somebody really needs their butt kicked.
CaptEndo - Except that limbs and other mecha are totally and completely unworkable on any scale much larger than a human exoskeleton suit ( like the Bulls). Ground pressure is the real deal breaker, never mind complicated drive trains and high silhouettes. Even wheeled armored vehicles are severely hampered by high ground pressure. That’s why they were marginalized by major military powers after WWII. Heavy wheeled vehicles have too much ground pressure to do serious off road mobility. This means they get caught in the kill box more than tracks. Mecha would be lucky to move around even on pavement. Add the huge logistical drain of maintaining a walking machine that size and the huge hulking targets they would make, and it’s a pipe dream.
tkg - Not quite a pipe dream john deere did make the plustech forestry vehicle which did walk on six legs and was fully functional. Here is an image as proof:http://indulgy.ccio.co/iF/d6/o5/futurefuturisticWalkingRobot2robotics9.jpgFootage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CD2V8GFqk_YThe issue was the price tag and a lack of interest by buyers but I suspect bipedal mechs would not be as plausible as most might think. Quad and hex designs are a totally different matter.
Sazuroi -  In my own writing I also only use exosceletons, but note that I did not say “actually deploy” or “make useful”. I said “can build”. We can probably build a walking machine that size already, no matter how bad it sucks. And the technology seen here is not completely implausible, though it will likely end up going in a different direction. Though there was that concept design wheeled tank with full visual cloak a few years ago. For actual applications though, some kind of spider is probably better, and even that would likely be a niche product. I do have some hopes for that four-legs-with-wheels mecha some japanese guy builds for about 2 million a piece (he introduced the one he built at an expo a while ago, pictures float around), but it’ll probably be too costly and risky. Like that canadian nutcase with the anti-bear armor who also designed a infantry armor nobody wanted to buy despite him offering to tank a full assault rifle clip while wearing it… which proably didn’t convince people of his sanity. Those slabs he made the armor out of seemed to work fine though, back when I came across the story I saw a video where one stops a 7.92 sniper round. That can be faked, sure, but the potential was intriguing.
Keith - Oh good someone else pointed that out. There are mechs and having dealt with armor for many years. It’s a matter of engineering, not scale. The big deal breaker is power to move and to power camouflage. It appears they use multiple small scale emitters as shown by the less than perfect camouflage on the leg that was hit.
Jack McCrary - Ground pressure is not the issue most people think it would be. if you do a volumetric issue for most mecha, their lower legs/feet are typical proportionately at least three times larger than a comparable human limb and then benefit from the dramatically larger surface area. It’s not uncommon for a mecha to end up with a static ground pressure of 0.5 psi or less per ton. So a 20 ton mecha will have around a 10 psi ground pressure (less than a modern MBT) where as an average human male who will have one ranging between 25-30 psi.
Sazuroi - I think the problem with the ground pressure is that a Mech of comparable power to a current MBT would need to weigh a lot more than the tank to be as resistant to fire, since most terrain does not offer cover a Mech would be able to hide behind. To deal with that much added weight, the feet would need to be either even more disproportionately large, which would make it difficult to maneuver in places even a tank can get around – which kind of defeats the purpose of building a vertical combat unit in the first place. Either that or more feet, which would admittedly also require more space to move around. In the few settings I thought up which did indeed utilize Mecha on the ground, I basically had two main directions I tended to go: One option was to make the Mechs extremely large support units – replacing a whole battery of AA missiles while carrying other weapons as well, basically a land warship, though smaller since the crew doesn’t need to be on board constantly. I think Armored Core has something similar as a boss fight. The other option was making them small and mobility-focused, often able to jump quite far, with many legs, “assist legs” or special dampener systems to avoid cratering when landing. Those weren’t terribly armored, and occupied a role between IFV and Helicopter, that is, near fire support. Those were typically single-pilot, and either built around a weapon or at least very focused on their weapons, and mainly defended by keeping a distance and dodging, in cities typically standing on the buildings. Stand-up-and-fight mainline combatant Mecha I never managed to justify to myself, even in space where the ideal small unit is a cube there are reasons against Mecha (why make it look like a human if you can leave out the joints and shave off more weight if you don’t? Why give your attack unit a large frontal profile when the front is supposed to point at the enemy?). On the ground, the main advantage of the vertical shape is essentially the same that led to us evolve in that direction – oversight, and a small “footprint”, as well as being able to mount effectors with a higher range of movement. That is useful – helicopters became one of the main weapons against tanks because a tank can’t spot them very easily, and a Mecha can have an easier time spotting them – but they are also dreadfully easy to hit up close, and easier to spot. Mecha may be harder to immobilize than a tank (opinions diverge, joints can be armored but are out if damaged, tracks are out if damaged and can’t be fully covered from all angles), but mobility is potentially their greatest asset, and it is at odds with MBT-grade armor. Hence, either a light maneuver combatant or a beyond-the-horizon asset. The horizon is reasonably good cover in most situations, particularly if Laser or Particle weapons proliferate and indirect fire becomes less available.
MasterFALE - Just back-up on the Thermal Camo, BAE has a system applicae panels, as noted: like ERA, which provide active camo vs thermal imaging. Hell, they can camo a moving tank in the open while displaying insulting messages.
CaptEndo - Fair arguments. A Mecha as light as 20 tons ( in the range of an APC or light tank, or the Stryker armored car) would suffer from the same liability as all light armor: it’s too thin skinned to take heavy weapon fire, and a high silhouette vehicle like a Mecha would draw fire from every conventional unit on the field long before the Mecha could target them. Not to mention mounting it’s weapons up that high would make it top heavy and enhance recoil. Using smaller multi legged walking machines for industrial purposes might have a real future, but not as an upright armored combat vehicle, which is what I have understood the term Mecha to refer to. There is likely a future for the prototype “pack mule” legged robots, and possibly as low slung mobile missile or gun mounts as well. Those could be practical in the very near future.

Get Your First Pull-up Or Chin-up! 30-Day Pull up Progression Plan
Pull-ups are my favorite exercise of all time.
But what if you can’t do a pull-up yet?
The answer: read this ultimate guide on getting your first pull–up ASAP!
We have helped hundreds of Online Coaching Clients get their first pull-up, and we’ll cover our exact strategies below!
We help people get their first pull-up, and we're really good at it. Learn more:
As part of our Strength Training 101 series, we give you an exact plan to follow leading you to your very first full pull-up:
Tips on how to start doing pull-ups.
Level 1 Pull-up Workout: Bent Over Dumbbell Rows
Level 2 Pull-up Workout: Inverted Bodyweight Rows
Level 3 Pull-up Workout: Assisted Pull-ups
Level 4 Pull-up Workout: Top Holds and Bar Hangs
Level 5 Pull-up Workout: Negative Pull-ups

Level 7: Advanced Pull-up Moves
If you can already do a pull-up (woot!), you might want to check out our article on proper pull-up form, although we’ll cover a lot of the same material here.
Let’s do this thang.
Tips on How to Start Doing Pull-Ups
youtube
In the video above, Coach Jim walks you through the exact progression system we use with our coaching clients who want to get their first pull-up (or chin-up).
Before we get into exercises to progress into a pull-up, let’s chat about some general strategies.
Consider the following three points when attempting to get your first chin-up or pull-up:
#1) This should hopefully be obvious, but the more you weigh, the more you have to lift in order to complete a pull-up.
If you’re truly serious about completing a pull-up, start by getting your diet under control.
As we say here at Nerd Fitness, 80-90% of weight loss comes down to what you eat (#4 in the Rules of the Rebellion).
Here are some resources to help you with weight loss:
Tried to lose weight in the past without success? I hear you, weight loss is super tough. Learn why in our article “Why Can’t I Lose Weight?” for a deep dive into the subject. We also have the 5 Rules of Weight Loss to help you get going.
Not sure what a proper diet looks like? Check out our guide on healthy eating for a full lesson on nutrition.
Wondering if Paleo, Keto, or Veganism can help you with weight loss? They might. Read our guide on determining the perfect diet (for you).
In the above guides, you’ll find me stating that losing weight comes down to eating fewer calories than you burn. Not sure how many calories you need? Check out our guide on calculating your daily caloric requirements.
#2) MAKE YOUR “PULL” EXERCISES A PRIORITY. A lot of people do every other exercise before doing any back-related exercises, if they do any at all.
After warming up properly, your first exercise should always be the stuff that you want to work on the most – in this case, it’ll be your back muscles.
Until you get your first pull-up done, focus on the back exercises detailed in the levels and workouts in this guide.
#3) The progression we outline is a path that works for most people, but does NOT need to be followed to a T.
We give sample sets and reps and when to move up, but if you feel like you can progress sooner or want to try doing full pull-ups sooner than we recommend, that’s OKAY.
This is the slower progression method, where some people will want to do fewer reps and progress to the next levels sooner – that’s okay.
We recommend moving up to the next level when you can do 3 sets of 8 reps of a particular exercise. If you want the accelerated path, move on up as faster as you can do 3 sets of 5 reps. You do you boo.
Want someone to build you a custom made progression plan for doing your first pull-up? Our 1-on-1 Online Coaching Program will do just that, plus your coach can review your movements through our app so you’ll know your training correctly and safely.
You’re not alone on this journey. Let our Online Coaches help you conquer your first pull-up!
Level 1 Pull-up Workout: Bent Over Dumbbell Rows
We’re going to start with bent-over dumbbell rows, the most basic of back exercises, in case you’re starting from ABSOLUTELY square one.
Level 1 Pull-up Workout:
Bent-over dumbbell rows: 8 reps each arm (or as many as you can do)
Rest for a 2-minute break
Do another set
Repeat until you hit 3 sets
What weight should you start out with initially?
Whatever allows you to get to at least 5 reps a set.
Once you can do 3 sets of 8 reps (each arm), it’s time to pick up a heavier dumbbell.
This will allow you to get stronger and stronger.
Make sure you give yourself at least 48 hours until you do the Level 1 Dumbbell Rows again, so you can include these dumbbell rows for your workouts on:
Monday
Wednesday
Friday
As soon as you can do 3 sets of 8 reps, it’s time to move up to a heavier dumbbell.
Once you can lift a 25-pound (10kg) dumbbell or heavier, consider moving up to the next level.
If you are a little bit bigger than the average bear, you might want to stick with this step until you lose a little bit more weight and get stronger – maybe go to 35 or 40-pound (18kg) dumbbells.
Want help designing your own workout routine? I’ve got two options for you.
The first is to head over to “Build Your Own Workout Routine” and get your hands dirty. Our guide will walk you through building a full-body exercise program in 10 simple steps.
The second is to have a Nerd Fitness Coach do all the heavy lifting for you (not really, you still have to lift stuff), by having them build you a tailor-made workout routine:
Click here to have a Nerd Fitness Coach build you a routine to start crushing pull-ups!
Level 2 Pull-Up Workout: Inverted Bodyweight Rows
Bodyweight rows are the PERFECT precursor to pull-ups – they work the same muscles, and have you lifting your own bodyweight, just at a different angle.
For this level, we’ll provide you with two options: You can also make adjustments.
OPTION A: IF YOU HAVE ACCESS TO A GYM OR WANT TO JOIN A GYM:
You can follow the rest of this workout as part of our 6-Level Gym workout guide, which will help you go from total gym newbie to pull-up progressing badass!
At your gym, find your Smith Machine and set the bar at about chest height.
A higher bar makes the exercise easier to start:
And as you get stronger, you can set the bar lower:
Here’s a whole post I did on inverted bodyweight rows.
Here’s how to do an inverted bodyweight row (here is a video demonstration with gymnastic rings, but you can start with a bar as displayed in the images below).
Tumblr media
Set the bar at a height where it’s challenging for you to complete 3 sets of 8 reps with two minutes of rest between sets.
Clench your butt and keep your abs tight and body straight throughout the exercise.
Pull your shoulder blades down and back towards each other (like you’re trying to pinch a pencil between them behind your back).
Focus your mind on PULLING with your arms.
Pull until your chest touches the bar (not your neck).
As soon as you can complete all 3 sets of 8 reps, set the bar heigh lower to make the exercise more difficult.
If you need to make the exercise less challenging, bend your knees and put your feet flat on the ground:
Level 2 sample workout routine:
Monday – 3 sets of 8 reps of overhand bodyweight rows
Wednesday – 3 sets of 8 reps of underhand bodyweight rows (hands reversed)
Friday – 3 sets of 8 reps of overhand bodyweight rows
(And then go underhand, overhand, underhand the following week)
As soon as you’re doing bodyweight rows where your body is at a 45-degree angle or lower, you can progress to Level 3.
OPTION B: IF YOU DON’T HAVE ACCESS TO A GYM FOR INVERTED ROWS:
You have 4 paths here:
1) Purchase a door frame pull-up bar, hang a pair of gymnastic rings from them. And then follow the same advice as above!
Tumblr media
  2) Use your kitchen table for rows (BE CAREFUL):
youtube
3) Do inverted rows between a couple chairs, as we walk you through in How to Do Pull-ups Without a Bar:
4) Move up to Level 3 and progress with caution there.
If you are struggling with rows, you’re not sure you’re doing them correctly, or you’re not sure how to progress to the next level, check out our 1-on-1 coaching program.
It’s the type of program that helped single mom Leslie lose 100+ pounds and start training with gymnastic rings and handstands!

Level 3 Pull-Up Workout: Assisted Pull-Ups
Okay! It’s time to get to ACTUAL pull-ups here! Personally, I don’t like using the assisted pull-up machine in a gym as it doesn’t give you the full feeling of a pull-up, but it’s certainly better than nothing.
Instead, I recommend doing one of these alternatives:
#1) Assisted Pull-ups with chair
Either one foot or two on the chair, depending on your needs. Your feet are ONLY there for support, use your upper body as much as possible.
You can also use a box or similar sized object for the same result:
#2)Assisted Pull-ups with exercise band:
You can get different types of exercise bands with different levels of strength, or a variety pack for easy progression.
Put your foot in the exercise band and pull yourself up.
#3) Assisted pull-ups with a partner:
Have a friend hold your feet behind you and help you complete each rep. Have them use the least amount of help possible to get you through your workouts.
Here’s how to do an assisted pull-up:
Clench your butt and keep your abs tight throughout the exercise – try not to swing like crazy.
Keep your shoulder blades pinched behind you throughout the movement and focus on PULLING the bar down with your arms.
Use the least amount of assistance that you can handle – as soon as you can do multiple pull-ups with both feet on the chair, switch to just one foot.
If you’re using an exercise band, try to get a few bands of varying tension so you can decrease the resistance as you get stronger.
As soon as you can do 3 sets of 8 with assistance, it’s time to move on to Level 4.
For another reference, Coach Jim and Staci show you how to do a variation of assisted chin-up right here:
This is probably the TOUGHEST level before getting your pull-ups. If you get stuck on “assisted pull-ups” and “assisted chin-ups”, you’re not alone. This is where most people get stuck.
We work hand-in-hand with people like you to get them their first pull-up in our Online Coaching Program. If you don’t know how to fit these movements into your workouts, or you just want somebody to give you the exact workout to follow every day, we got you!
No guesswork. No confusion. Just a workout program that’s customized for you.
Finally, a workout that includes Level 3 pull-up exercises
Monday – Assisted Pull-ups – 3 sets of 8 reps
Wednesday – Inverted Bodyweight Rows – 3 sets of 8 reps
Friday – Assisted Chin Ups – 3 sets of 8 reps
This will help you ramp up to Level 4.
Level 4 Pull-Up Workout: Top holds and Bar Hangs
Alright, so we’ve started off great! We’re working those pulling muscles and assisted variations – but an actual chin-up might feel miles (or kilometers) away. Heck, just even holding onto the bar may be a challenge without some assistance.
What should we do now?
How about we work on holding onto the bar!?!
Before we work on doing full range, unassisted chin-ups or pull-ups, it’s really helpful to be strong and confident in holding unassisted parts of the movement. This is where Top Holds and Bar Hangs come in! #1) A Top Hold is exactly what it sounds like – we hold the top position of the chin-up or pull-up for several seconds (5 to 10). You’ll likely find holding the top of the chin-up (palms facing you) easier than the pull-up.
This is definitely something that you want to first do assisted. We’ll then work to transfer more weight – bit by bit over several workouts – off our feet and onto our arms until we’re holding ourselves unassisted at the top.
Using a band is a good option for assisted chin-ups, but using a box, bench, or another sturdy object will be a better option here.
It will allow you to shift that weight onto your arms a little easier.
That said, if all you have is a band for this exercise then that’s ok! Look to use thinner and thinner bands, while lifting the feet and knees up a bit to further reduce assistance (as the band won’t be stretched as far).
#2) On the other side of the movement, we have the Bar Hang…which is pretty much what it sounds like too!
To perform a bar hang:
Grab the bar with palms facing towards you or away from you. You’ll likely find hanging with palms facing away from you to be a bit more comfortable. Either direction will help strengthen up your grip.
Just like with the top hold, you’ll want to start assisted then work to shift your weight from your feet onto your arms until you’re hanging unassisted.
To further supercharge this exercise: once you are hanging unassisted, work on retracting your shoulders down away from your ears.
Like so:
And so:
This small movement is TOUGH (and you can even practice it assisted) but getting strong here will set your shoulders in an even better position for your first chin-up/pull-up.
We’ll look to hang from the bar (assisted or unassisted) for a total time of 30 seconds to 1 minute. At first this time may be broken up into several sets (e.g., 10 seconds, 10 seconds, 10 seconds), but you should eventually work up to one full set.
So how should we integrate either of these into our training?
#1) For the Top Holds, do this at the start of your workout (after your warm-up) for 3 sets of 5 seconds. Make sure you give it your all! Really squeeze the muscles tight and put as much weight on the arms as possible!
With all that effort, you’ll want to give yourself 30 seconds to a minute rest in-between. I know that sounds like a lot for just 5 seconds of work – but if you were working hard enough, you’ll need it!
#2) For the Bar Hang, do this at the end of your workout for 30 seconds to a minute. Again, look to complete this in as few sets as possible, while making the exercise as challenging as possible. Move from assisted to unassisted, with the shoulders retracted downwards.
If you have to take a break during the bar hang time, then take enough rest so that the next hold is productive.
Here Are the Exercises You Can Include for Your Level 4 Workout Routine:
Monday:
Top Hold (Assisted or Unassisted) – 4 sets of 5 seconds
Assisted Pull-ups – 3 sets of 8 repetitions
Bar Hang (Assisted or Unassisted) – 30 seconds total time
Wednesday:
Top hold (Assisted or Unassisted) – 4 sets of 5-10 seconds
Bodyweight Rows – 3 sets of 8 reps
Bar Hang (Assisted or Unassisted) – 30 to 60 seconds total time
Friday –
Top Hold (Assisted or Unassisted) – 4 sets of 5 seconds
Assisted Chin-ups – 3 sets of 8 reps
Bar Hang (Assisted or Unassisted) – 30 seconds total time
When you’re able to perform the Top Holds and Bar Hangs unassisted, then it’s time to move to the next level!!!
LEVEL 4.5 PULL-UP WORKOUT: (THE HIDDEN LEVEL)
What’s this??? Secret hidden exercises?
I just wanted to bring your attention to a great addition to any of these workouts – especially as things really ramp up.
Ready for it?
It’s . . . the front plank!
The front plank (or any of your favorite midsection stabilization exercises) is a great exercise to do, should holding a Top Hold or a Bar Hang prove tough.
If you haven’t already felt it during the the previous pull-up workouts – your middle needs to be involved too!
During a pull-up or chin-of, if we squeeze through the midsection and glutes, the nearby muscles are able to contract stronger through a phenomenon known as muscle irradiation.
Besides sounding like something the Fantastic Four encountered in space, this cool “trick” can helps engaged nearby muscles in the midsection, including those big back muscles that pull us up!
You can see muscle irradiation for yourself if you’ve ever been asked to flex your biceps for someone. You’ll instinctually squeeze your hand tight, because it helps the biceps engage stronger!
If needed, throw in some front planks work near the end of your workout.
You can even start on your knees:
Look to hold 30 seconds to one minute of total time.
Alright, back to our regularly schedule programming!
Level 5 Pull-Up Workout: Negative Pull-Ups
Okay! We are now DANGEROUSLY close to getting our first pull-up!
The big step at this level is doing a negative pull-up:
Grab onto the bar with an overhand grip
Jump so your chest is touching
Slowly lower yourself under control until you’re at the bottom of the movement.
Tumblr media
WARNING: This can be very dangerous if you’re very overweight, which is why I’d recommend moving slowly through steps 1-3 first.
However, once you have a decent amount of back strength (which you got from Levels 1, 2, and 3), doing negatives is a great way to build arm and back strength.
You have two options for negative pull-ups:
Hop up on a chair to get above the bar and then lower yourself back down. The name of the game is “in control.”
Jump above the pull-up bar, and then begin to lower yourself back down IN CONTROL.
You don’t need to lower yourself so slowly that one repetition destroys you…lower yourself at a controlled speed – Counting to “three Mississippi” during the movement is a good tempo.
Here are the exercises you can include for your Level 5 Workout Routine:
Monday:
Negative Pull-ups – 4 sets of 1 rep
Assisted Pull-ups – 3 sets of 8 reps
Bar Hang (Unassisted) – 30 seconds total time
Wednesday:
Top Hold (Unassisted) – 4 sets of 5-10 seconds
Bodyweight Rows – 3 sets of 8 reps
Bar Hang (Unassisted) – 60 seconds total time
Friday:
Negative Chin-ups – 4 sets of 1 rep
Assisted Chin-ups – 3 sets of 8 reps
Bar Hang (Unassisted) – 30 seconds total time
Once you’re doing all of the negative repetitions in each exercise…you’re ready to do a pull-up.
As you’ll see above, we’re giving you the “pull” exercises if you are building your own workout. If you want a good beginner gym workout program, these movements will fit in perfectly.
Alternatively, we can do all of the heavy lifting for you (well, not ALL the heavy lifting) – we’ll create a specific workout so all you have to do is log into your NF Coaching App each morning and do the workout your coach prescribed!

Level 6 – Doing Your First Pull-up or Chin-up
Tumblr media
OH BOY! My dear Rebel, it’s time for a…
At this point you have two options:
A chin-up is when you grab the bar with an underhand grip with your palms facing towards you.
Many find chin-ups slightly easier than…
A pull-up is when you grab the bar with your palms facing away from you. Seeing as this is a pull-up guide…
HOW TO DO A PULL-UP, STEP-BY-STEP:
youtube
Grab the bar with a grip slightly wider than shoulder-width, with your hands facing away from you.
Start from a dead hang.
Engage your shoulders, pull them down and back towards each other (like you are pinching a pencil between your shoulder blades!)
Flex your stomach, pull your body until your chest touches the bar.
Slight pause, yell out “I’m a champion!”
Lower yourself all the way back down to a dead hang.
We cover all of this and more in our post “How to Do a Proper Pull-Up,” but the above will get you started
Depending on your weight, your level of fitness and strength, and how far along you are in these progressions, you might be able to start with even more than one pull-up.
At this point, you can be a full Gym Class Hero by following a Gym Workout with these movements in there for your “pull” exercises:
 Level 6 routine weekly schedule:
Monday:
Pull-ups – 4 sets of 1-2 reps (move onto the next exercise if you can’t perform a rep)
Assisted Pull-ups – 3 sets of 8 reps
Bar Hang (Unassisted) – 60 seconds total time
Wednesday:
Negative Chin-ups – 4 sets of 1 rep
Bodyweight Rows – 3 sets of 8 reps
Bar Hang (Unassisted) – 60 seconds total time
Friday:
Chin-ups – 4 sets of 1-2 reps (move onto the next exercise if you can’t perform a rep)
Assisted Chin-ups – 3 sets of 8 reps
Bar Hang (Unassisted) – 60 seconds total time
Congratulations! You’re now doing pull-ups. Make sure you watch that video above to make sure you’re doing pull-ups with proper form. Nearly everybody does them incorrectly, with bad form.

Level 7 – Advanced Pull-up Moves
Once you’re able to do 3 sets of 10 pull-ups or chin-ups, you have a few options:
OPTION #1: Continue to get better at doing more reps – 3 sets of 12, 3 sets of 15, 4 sets of 20, etc.
OPTION #2: Start doing other types of pull-ups
WIDE GRIP PULL-UPS (grab the bar WAY out with both hands):
SIDE TO SIDE PULL-UPS
RING PULL-UPS
TOWEL PULL-UPS (Great for grip strength)
youtube
OPTION #3) Add weight with a weight belt and do weighted pull-ups or weighted chin-ups:
Personally, my favorite thing to do in a gym is weighted pull-ups; if you’re at this level and interested in doing so, here’s what you need to do:
Get a weight belt. I bought this one on Amazon and it’s worked out incredibly well for me. I’ve tried doing the whole “put weights in a backpack” and it certainly works, but the angle of the weights hanging off your back is weird. With a weight belt, the weight hangs down between your legs (not a euphemism) so it feels more natural.
Add small amounts at a time. Most gyms will have 2.5 lb (roughly 1kg) weights; you might feel stupid putting on a big weight belt and only hanging a tiny weight off it, but you need to start somewhere.
Consistently add more weight. I’ll warm up with two sets of 5 pull-ups with no extra weight, and then do 3 sets of 5 weighted pull-ups. If I can complete all 3 sets of 5 reps (with my chin over the bar for every rep), I’ll make a note to add 2.5 or 5lbs (1 or 2kg) to my weight belt for the next time.
Here’s how to incorporate these Level 6 exercises into your gym workout routine:
Monday – Weighted Chin Ups – 3 sets of 5 reps
Wednesday – Elevated Feet Body Weight Rows – 3 sets of max repetitions
Friday – Wide Grip Pull-ups – 3 sets of maximum repetition
(The following week, I’d alternate by doing the chin-ups without weight, and then doing weighted pull-ups
Where do you go from here? How about working towards one of the most impressive exercises of all time? The MUSCLE UP (warning: uber advanced)!

Baby stroller
Top tips for choosing the right baby pram that every parent must know
A key point in the life of new parents is purchasing a baby pram for the little one. In an age where one of the two parents is at work constantly, a pram is a necessity. A pram enables a parent to transport their child out of the house with as little hassle as possible. A pram also provides an alternative to carrying the child constantly. Visits to the pediatrician or walks around the local park are made much easier with a baby pram. All these factors above make it impervious that you make a proper decision when selecting the best prams in Australia for you.
There are many different types of baby prams in Australia to choose from and several brands. If you do not do your research, a visit to a store to scope baby prams for sale can turn into a nightmare. But conversely, this enormous choice will guarantee that you can find the best baby pram. Since baby prams are quite expensive, blind research is not recommended. Hence a reliable guide to buying one will go a long way.
What is the difference between a baby stroller and a baby pram?
The answer is simple, and knowing it is the first step in deciding your baby’s first set of wheels.
Baby Stroller: Generally, refers to     models that seat the baby or child in an upright position
Baby Pram: Are usually models that occupy the child     in a horizontal/sleeping position
Keep     in mind that these terms are used interchangeably in modern days, since     most models support both positions.
Different types of baby prams and baby strollers
To accommodate use cases of both parent and child, there exist a variety of baby prams in Australia. These differ mainly upon their core design or how many wheels they have
Jogger stroller / Jogger prams
These are aimed at parents who engage in physical activity/want to lose weight.
Pros: The parent can keep fit while looking      after the baby, this also aids post- natal recovery. Inclusion of 3 large      wheels that make rolling easy and absorbs the shocks generated by a      faster movement pace.
Cons: Heavier and harder to assemble and      cannot be folded into a small size. Some of them may not be built for      fast activities – especially the cheaper ones (Its best to purchase a      genuine jogger pram designed for that purpose)
Double stroller / Double pram
For the lucky few of you that get twins or have more than one toddler, a double stroller or double pram is the way to go. Managing 2 babies is double the trouble, choosing the correct double pram will save you time and sanity.
There are 3 different types of this pram: Side by side strollers, tandem strollers, and single seat strollers with an additional detachable seat.
Side by side prams / Side by side strollers: Like the name implies, this has 2 seats next to each other.
·
Pros: Keeping a close eye on both kids at the      same time is easy. Both the little ones can interact with each other when      going out for walks. And generally, there are no limitations to the      positioning of the babies, and both can recline fully.
Cons: Side by side strollers are quite wide      and might not fit through narrow passages or doorways. And they are quite      heavy so your hubby will need to give you a hand when packing it. You      will also need to take additional steps to make sure it fits into your      cars boot and keep the same in mind when ordering a taxi
Tandem prams / Tandem strollers: These seat     one baby in front of the other
·
Pros: Can fit through narrow spaces unlike      side-by-side prams
Cons: Due to their length you will find it      hard to reach things in front of it, like opening a door. Some tandem      prams offer low to no visibility of the baby in the front seat. The front      seat may not be able to recline fully due to the back seat. Again, make      sure it can fit in your car’s boot and the average taxicab.
Single sear strollers/prams with an additional     seat: Some strollers come with an extra seat that you can attach if you     get a 2nd baby down the road.
·
Pros: Cost saving since you do not need a new      pram. Pram size and maneuverability will remain almost the same (it will      be heavier). You save yourself time by not having to research for a new      pram.
Cons: Very little flexibility in the      attachable seat, far less than the main seat. If the attachment procedure      is not followed properly, it can be a risk to the safety of the toddler.
This      is the ideal pram for newborns or toddlers. They feature positions where      the baby can sit up or lie down flat.      The spinal cord of the child will be well supported regardless of age.      These prams are also usually lightweight.
Lightweight and umbrella
A pram geared at the parent who is on the move, or who does not always have a helping hand.
·
Pros: Boasting features like lightweight      construction and portability, this is truly one of the easiest prams to      manage.
Cons: Not suitable for use with a newborn, it      is recommended that the child be six months or older. Unless the pram is specifically      made for older children.
·
Pros: Quick switching of the baby from stroller      to car since the car seat connectsto the stroller seamlessly. Disturbance      to the baby during a switch is minimal.Cost efficiency by purchasing both      in one package.
Cons: Certain cars may be too small to fit      certain travel setups (checkdimensions before you buy!). Your baby can      outgrow the baby car seat faster than the stroller, meaning a costly      replacement. Generally higher in cost than a single unit.
Convertible strollers / Convertible prams
           The all-in-one solution,often
·
Pros: They are designed to change and adapt      according to the parent’s requirements over the course of a child’s life.      Support a wide range of seating positions. Wide range of models to choose      from. No need to continuously upgrade the stroller when your baby grows.
Cons: Not as lightweight as umbrella prams.      High initial cost.
Like a Travel setup but different. It is primarily meant for use as an infant car seat but can transform into a stroller instantly.
·
Pros: Convenience of always having a stroller      in the car for emergencies. Lightweight construction. Fast transition      between modes.
Cons: As babies tend to outgrow car seats      quickly, it will need to be replaced comparatively sooner.
Three wheelers or Four wheelers?
Three-wheel prams are easier to push around thanks to their large wheels that can pivot easily. They also absorb bumps better. Problems arise due to reports of three wheeled prams rolling away or tipping when turning corners.
Four-wheel prams offer more resistance when being pushed and their turning circle is not as good. The ride is also a bit rough since all 4 wheels are subjected to bumps on the road. But ultimately, they are the safest for your baby.
Tips when buying a pram
Armed with this information, you can confidently search though the many baby prams for sale. Here are some tips that will provide further assistance in picking the best prams in Australia.
A      pram is quite a large apparatus. If it cannot fold up properly and      easily, it can make life difficult for you.
·
Check      how much time it takes to fold the pram up. Check if you can do it in a      smooth manner. Some prams are incredibly complex and tough to fold up and      reassemble.
Ask yourself if the pram fits your lifestyle
For example, if you have 2 kids and walk frequently, it is advisable getting a reliable double stroller.
Check the load ratings of prams     Some cheap prams come with a catch where its maximum load is quite low.     Hence when your child grows you will eventually have to buy a new pram.     Look for something that can carry 15 to 20 kilograms (weight of a child     after which prams are not needed)
Safety features
Brakes: A good hard push while the brakes are locked can give you a good idea of their reliability. Take note if the brakes are linked and can be toggled via your foot. If so, you do not need to bend down every time you want to turn the brake on.
Straps and harnesses: A good tug will make sure they are secure. Check for easily adjustable straps (by you not the baby) that should ideally be padded.
Preview the pram at a showroom     – It pays to get a feel for what you are buying     – Understandably in post COVID times like these, this is impossible. Check     for video demonstrations of the pram instead.
  Do not be price minded
There is nothing more valuable than the safety of your child and knowing it is in good hands will keep your head clear.
Hopefully, this guide helped you to choose the best pram for your baby. And we wish you and your kids the best of luck in future!

+  Excellent battery life
+  Convenient Magsafe charging
+  Immersive 6.7-inch display
+  Superior performances
o   Charger sold separately
o   A bit heavy
o   No 120Hz display
The iPhone 12 Pro Max is much more than just a big-screen version of the iPhone 12 Pro. With its 6.7-inch display, this is the biggest display ever on an iPhone. But the iPhone 12 Pro Max lives up to its name in other ways, with an even more advanced camera than the regular iPhone 12 Pro and considerably longer battery life.
Of course, you get the same blazing fast A14 Bionic chip and 5G connectivity as all the other iPhone 12 models, but this is the Apple phone to get if you want the best of everything. Is all this worth an extra 5,000 pesos over the regular Pro? In fact, based on my testing, this is the best phone money can buy for those willing to pay a premium. The bigger question is whether this big screen is right for you.
iPhone 12 Pro Max review: Design and colors
The iPhone 12 Pro Max is a beast of a phone compared to the regular iPhone 12 Pro. It’s really the difference between having a flagship phone you can comfortably use with one hand and, well, not.
But in exchange you get a much more expansive and immersive display, which not only fits more content on the display at once but gives you a bigger keyboard for typing and a mini movie theater in your pocket.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max looks more premium than the iPhone 11 Pro Max. And that’s because of the new phone’s sleeker-looking flat edges. The polished gleaming gold stainless steel on the unit was particularly eye-catching. It’s the smartphone equivalent of jewelry. However, the finish picks up fingerprints in a hurry.
The notch on the iPhone 12 Pro remains pretty large, but the TrueDepth camera still comes in very handy for Face ID. I just wish Apple found a way to integrate Touch ID in the display or the power button like it did for the new iPad Air.
At 6.33 x 3.07 x 0.29 inches at 8.03 ounces, the iPhone 12 Pro Max is a bit heavier than its predecessor. But you get a bigger display in roughly the same size, as Apple trimmed the borders around the screen.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max is also tougher this time around. You get a Ceramic Shield display up front that’s rated for four times the drop performance as well as a better IP68 water resistance rating that goes down to 6 meters instead of 4 meters.
iPhone 12 Pro Max review: Display
With its 6.7-inch OLED display, the iPhone 12 Pro Max’s OLED panel is smaller but brighter than the 6.9-inch Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. When watching K-drama, I enjoyed an explosion of colors that almost made me forget I was holding a phone.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max also happens to offer the most color-accurate display we’ve ever seen. The panel registered 0.07 on the Delta-E test, where 0 is perfect. The Note 20 Ultra notched 0.24.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max’s display averaged 654 nits in our lab tests, compared to a slightly higher 662 nits for the Galaxy. But outdoors we found the iPhone’s screen easier to read in direct sunlight.
The only thing missing from the iPhone 12 Pro Max is a smooth 120Hz rate, which would have made for smoother scrolling and even better gameplay like it does on the latest Samsung flagships. Here’s hoping for the iPhone 13.
iPhone 12 Pro Max review: Cameras
The iPhone 12 Pro Max offers the best cameras on any phone, and that’s saying something considering how good the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Huawei Nova 7i are.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max has a larger main sensor than the iPhone 12 Pro, which is designed to deliver an 87 percent improvement in low light conditions vs the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The main lens on the iPhone 12 Pro Max also features a fast f/1.6 aperture and a LiDAR sensor for faster auto focus.
You also get a 2.5x optical zoom from the iPhone 12 Pro Max’s 12MP telephoto lens, which is behind the Note 20 Ultra’s 5x zoom but is better than the 2x on the iPhone 12 Pro.
iPhone 12 Pro Max review: Performance
When it comes to sheer performance, the A14 Bionic processor in the iPhone 12 Pro Max, paired with 6GB of RAM, has no equal.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max also outperformed the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra on the 3D Mark Wild Life graphics benchmark. Apple’s handset notched 41 frames per second, compared to just 24 fps for the Galaxy.
As expected, the iPhone 12 Pro Max also blew away the Android competition on Geekbench 5. Apple’s phone hit 4,111 on the multi-core test and 1,603 on single core. Compare that to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, whose Snapdragon 865 Plus chip scored just 3,294 and 985.
iPhone 12 Pro Max review: 5G
The iPhone 12 Pro Max supports every flavor of 5G, including sub-6GHz and mmWave. The iPhone 12 Pro Max maxed out at 211 Mbps for downloads and 77.5 Mbps for uploads.
Like other iPhone 12 models, the iPhone 12 Pro Max can automatically switch to 4G via its Smart Data Mode. This comes in handy mostly when the screen is off, such as when you’re streaming music.
iPhone 12 Pro Max review: Battery life
One of the biggest reasons to splurge on the iPhone 12 Pro Max is the extra endurance you get from its larger battery. The iPhone 12 Pro Max lasted 10 hours and 53 minutes. That’s nearly two hours longer than the regular iPhone 12 Pro, which endured for 9:06.
Samsung’s Galaxy Note 20 Ultra was slightly behind the 12 Pro Max with a runtime of 10:26 over 5G, which dropped to 7:59 with the 120Hz display mode on.
iPhone 12 Pro Max review: Charging
Like the rest of the iPhone 12 lineup, Apple doesn’t include a charger in the box with the 12 Pro Max. That might be the green thing to do, as Apple has argued, but it’s also annoying, especially if you want to fast charge your phone.
A 950 pesos 20W fast charger will get a drained iPhone 12 Pro Max to just under 50% in 30 minutes. But MagSafe is getting more attention, because it works with the magnets in the back of the iPhone 12 Pro Max to easily attach a charger. This 1,950 pesos charger is 15W, which is slower, but it’s twice as fast as previous iPhone wireless chargers.
Just keep in mind that you’ll need a power brick and MagSafe adapter, as they’re sold separately.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max also works with a growing array of MagSafe accessories, including cases and wallets you can attach, as well as Apple’s 6,450 pesos MagSafe Duo charger that juices your iPhone and Apple Watch simultaneously. Again, though, you'll need to spring for a 20W charger for this accessory to work.

Top 5 Best Modifications for Ram 1500
Currently, in its fifth generation, the Ram 1500 has earned its share (and then some) of recognition and industry awards as well as proved to be a favorite among truck aficionados. Boasting one of the most enjoyable rides in the full-size pickup truck segment, the Ram 1500 does not disappoint. It’s comfortable and spacious for daily commutes, more than capable of off-roading, and offers enough tech to keep the family safe and happy. It also doesn’t hurt to have the option of either a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine, a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, or a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel engine – the last two being offered with the eTorque mild-hybrid system for seamless stops/starts at idle.
With a slew of trim levels, cab configurations, and optional equipment, the Ram 1500 is an all-around solid American truck that can be catered to your every need. The Ram 1500 truck is engineered to power you through any journey, no matter the road or the weather. If you are looking to take your Ram even further, we have compiled a list below touching upon some of the best modifications you can do. We cover exterior mods, suspension upgrades, and some underhood goodies to help start you off. So grab life by the horns and explore those uncharted roads, take on the extra workload, and drive on the daily with confidence.
#1 Grille Guards/Bull Bars
Your Ram 1500 truck is an investment, so you will want to protect its exterior as much as possible. Whether you are on the job site, tackling new terrain, or cruising on the highway, protecting your pickup’s front end is a smart move as dirt, rocks, and debris can be kicked up no matter where you’re driving. A grille guard or bull bar can provide an extra layer of protection for the front fascia and even help prevent damage to the lights, ultimately saving you money in the event of an unfortunate collision. Not only do grille guards and bull bars act as a defense shield, but they also give your Ram 1500 a more aggressive front-end appearance. It’s the perfect combination of aesthetics and functionality to show people you mean business.
There are all different styles and setups to choose from when browsing the aftermarket for grille guards and bull bars. The main difference betweent the two is that a bull bar only protects the middle of your truck’s front end, while a grille guard covers the entire face, wrapping around the headlights too. Many of them also allow for the mounting of additional fog, driving, and off-road auxiliary lights on your Ram’s front end. This means that you can ultimately kill two birds with one stone and find a grille guard that includes integrated lights or a light bar for that ideal off-road pairing. When looking for a grille guard or bull bar, it’s important to check the product descriptions to make sure this is possible, as not all manufacturers offer these options.

#2 Running Boards/Side Steps
Now that we’ve covered protection, let’s move on to a more convenience-based mod: side steps and running boards. Both of these parts serve a number of functions, but primarily act to make entering and exiting your truck much easier. Whether you are driving the kids to practice, exploring new trails, or going camping, chances are that you will be going in and out of the truck frequently for equipment, supplies, and to head to your next stop. That’s where side steps and running boards come in. Both are very simple to install. Most come in a basic plug-and-play format and can quickly be bolted to the underside of your Ram 1500 in just seconds.
Running boards run the length of your truck’s cab on the bottom of either side and serve two functions. The first is obviously to act as a step to make getting into your cab less of a chore; this proves especially helpful on taller trucks. The second function is to protect against various forms of debris when your truck kicks up rocks and dirt from the road or trail. Having a running board can block some of the debris from being tossed high enough to scratch your side panels and doors. A little extra defense never hurts, right? What’s more, they can even double as a doormat, per se, where you and your passengers can wipe off dirt before entering the cab.
A truck side step provides the same functionality as a running board without an elongated profile. Side steps fold down or swivel out when you need them and can hide out of sight when you don’t. Beyond just ingress and egress, side steps provide a solid and sturdy platform for you to load and unload your bed as well. You can attach side steps to your Ram’s factory mounting positions along the length of your truck and even to the bed or under the tailgate for even greater access to your cargo areas.

#3 Cold Air Intake System
If you are looking to give your engine some added oomph and a nice rumble, a performance air intake is just what you need. Installing a cold air intake is one of the most popular first mods to do to any vehicle. That’s because it’s fairly inexpensive, boasts numerous benefits, and is super simple to install. By replacing the stock, restrictive intake in your Ram 1500, you can pump more air into the engine to experience power gains and increased efficiency. Cold air intakes can deliver noticeable differences in power and are a great starting point for upgrading your Ram 1500’s engine.
It’s a well-known fact that the more oxygen a vehicle receives, the more combustion that will take place. This is where a cold air intake system comes in. It lets your car breathe more freely and breathe cooler air at that. While it won’t immediately transform your truck into a racecar overnight, an upgraded air intake system will deliver a slew of benefits for your Ram 1500. These include additional horsepower, improved acceleration, better gas mileage, and enhanced sound. What’s more, a cold air intake system will save you money on filters in the long run. That’s because its filter only needs to be cleaned every 30,000 miles whereas the stock paper one needs to be replaced every 15,000 miles.
When used together with other performance-enhancing mods, like a cat-back exhaust and tune, a cold air intake can really take your truck to the next level. You can opt for either a complete cold air intake system upgrade or just a high-flow filter to see an instant increase in your Ram 1500’s performance.
Shop Cold Air Intakes Here.
#4 Exhaust System Upgrade
A practical next step to take after switching out your Ram 1500’s stock air intake is to upgrade its exhaust system as well. If you want your truck to sound as beefy as it looks, a performance exhaust system is just what you need to tie the entire look together. There are a number of different reasons why you may want to change your stock exhaust, including increased power, improved efficiency, and a more attractive sound. A performance exhaust frees up some of the power in your Ram’s engine, which allows for a quicker and more efficient path with which exhaust gases can escape. This allows your engine to breathe better and, thus, create more power. Apart from the performance gains and better mpg, exhaust systems can deliver a deep and aggressive growl that can transform the presence of your truck and give it a more sporty appeal.
There are plenty of options when it comes to exhaust components and systems. You can choose individual parts (i.e. mufflers, high-flow cats, headers, etc.) or opt for a complete exhaust system that includes the whole package for the maximum gains. When browsing the aftermarket for exhaust systems, you’ll come across axle-back and cat-back exhausts. The former generally replaces the muffler, tips, and a small section of piping. The latter replaces all of the exhaust piping from the catalytic converter back to the muffler. You can also choose a header-back, which replaces all of the stock components to experience the maximum benefits. The choice is up to you and what you want from your truck.

#5 Lift Kits/Leveling Kits
Now that you have your Ram sounding more aggressive, it’s time to treat it to a more aggressive stance. One of the most common and best off-road modifications to do is upgrade your truck’s suspension. Lift kits and leveling kits are two great options for taking your Ram 1500 to new heights, literally, and giving you more comfort and control on your next trail adventure. Not only will a lift kit or leveling kit provide more ground clearance, but it will also improve your truck’s breakover angle, approach angle, and departure angle. It also delivers the stability, flexibility, and confidence you need to go virtually anywhere. Just like sports cars are intended to be low, trucks are intended to be high. When choosing between the two, it’s important to think about the type of driving you are going to do and choose the right package and appropriate lift for it. Let’s now go over what the difference is between a lift kit and a leveling kit to help you along.
Whether you have owned a truck before or are a first-time owner, you’ve probably noticed that the rear sits higher than the front. This is because trucks are built to haul heavy loads in the bed and the additional height is needed so the truck doesn’t sag when extra weight is added. However, when you are not hauling things, it may look somewhat “off”. One simple way to fix this is with a leveling kit. Leveling kits allow you to raise the front end of your truck a few inches so that it matches, or is level, with the back end. While leveling kits are mainly used for looks, they can provide added ground clearance too – but only about an inch or two of lift. Most leveling kits also retain the factory ride quality of your truck and are fairly affordable, making them a great bang for the buck.
A lift kit is intended to provide increased height, better off-road performance, and additional ground clearance. While these are going to cost more than a leveling kit, they also offer far greater benefits than a mere leveling kit. Lift kits on the aftermarket can range from one inch up to more than seven inches and are much more involved than leveling kits. Most lift kits will also retain the factory steering and ride quality while providing added ground clearance so that you can fit a larger wheel and tire package. This is a double bonus that will help your truck crawl over rocks and tackle tough terrain with no problems. One thing to remember is that the higher you go, the higher the center of gravity will be. This can cause some stability issues and make driving on the highway at high speeds less safe.

Best prams australia
Tandem prams / Tandem strollers: These seat     one baby in front of the other
Pros: Can fit through narrow spaces unlike      side-by-side prams
Cons: Due to their length you will find it      hard to reach things in front of it, like opening a door. Some tandem      prams offer low to no visibility of the baby in the front seat. The front      seat may not be able to recline fully due to the back seat. Again, make      sure it can fit in your car’s boot and the average taxicab.
Single sear strollers/prams with an additional     seat: Some strollers come with an extra seat that you can attach if you     get a 2nd baby down the road.
Pros: Boasting features like lightweight      construction and portability, this is truly one of the easiest prams to      manage.
Cons: Not suitable for use with a newborn, it      is recommended that the child be six months or older. Unless the pram is specifically      made for older children.
Pros: They are designed to change and adapt      according to the parent’s requirements over the course of a child’s life.      Support a wide range of seating positions. Wide range of models to choose      from. No need to continuously upgrade the stroller when your baby grows.
Cons: Not as lightweight as umbrella prams.      High initial cost.
Like a Travel setup but different. It is primarily meant for use as an infant car seat but can transform into a stroller instantly.

Buy Folding Treadmills
There are several benefits of buying folding treadmills over other non-foldable models. If you are planning to buy a new folding treadmill then you shouldn’t prefer a lower quality folding model rather you should opt for a higher priced folding machine. A good quality folding treadmill has the ability to provide you with the amount of exercise that you need in the most convenient and affordable way.
Most people prefer to use treadmills for walking and they are known to help to lose weight in a short period of time. But, some people find it difficult to lose weight on regular treadmills because they don’t have the option of switching from one speed to the next. In such a scenario, folding treadmills are very popular because they provide the user with a different kind of workout.
Folding treadmills offer the user the opportunity to exercise both legs at the same time. When you switch from one speed to the other, you do not lose any calories because your body will be able to perform its muscles at the same time. And, this results in losing extra weight.
Buying a cheap treadmill is not going to help you lose weight or give you the flexibility to exercise either. So, buying a quality folding machine is highly recommended.
Treadmills that are used by professionals are of different types. But, when it comes to folding treadmills, they are considered as one of the best options.
Nowadays, folding treadmills are available in many colors. You can choose the color that suits your requirements and makes you feel comfortable while exercising. They are generally available in black, white, tan, green and brown. If you want to buy folding treadmills for the gym then you can choose from the variety of black and white models.
You can also choose from the wide range of colors like red, blue and pink for their treadmills if you wish to have a more relaxing environment while exercising. Folding treadmills come with special features like heart rate monitors, incline sensors and stair climbers.
There are many benefits of purchasing a treadmill like you can use them anytime. And you will get more exercise while using them unlike other machines.
Folding treadmills can also be folded up and taken anywhere and when it gets wet you can take it apart and dry it easily. Hence, they are convenient for gym goers or even for home use.
The main disadvantage of buying a folding treadmill is that they can only be used while traveling on a plane or bus. However, they can give you excellent results in losing weight because you can exercise both legs at the same time.
You can buy these machines from online stores as there is a wide variety available there. But, the major advantage of buying them online is that you can buy them from any part of the world.
In order to buy them from reputed online stores, it is necessary that you buy them from a reputed store with good quality equipment. You should ensure that the stores are authorized dealers.
It is important that you find a store that sells good quality treadmill with a good warranty and offers low prices. Online stores will be more expensive but you can also get them from private sellers. You can check out their services and see whether they are good dealers or not.
Before buying a treadmill, make sure that the store has a lot of treadmill models in their catalog. Compare the prices and compare the features as well.
Buying these treadmill machines will not cost you a fortune unless you are buying it as an emergency. They are best options for people who love outdoor sports.
Buying these machines are great investment and most people prefer to buy them than buying other machines. They have better efficiency and the prices of these machines are more affordable.
When Should You Buy Folding Treadmills?
Do you want to buy folding treadmills? If you have limited space or an old or worn treadmill, you may want to consider a folding treadmill. They are great for homes that don’t have a lot of space for storing a traditional stationary or mobility treadmill.
When you purchase stationary or mobility treadmills it can be very cumbersome to set up and take down. If you are always traveling then having the treadmill on the go may not be the best idea. For many people they don’t have the luxury of having their home office in their back yard and need the ability to work from wherever they happen to be.
By purchasing folding treadmills you can take the whole set with you when you travel, or you can store it somewhere safe. If you have a folding treadmill you can take it on camping trips or even when you just want to take your workout to the park. Folding treadmills are also ideal for the dorm room or apartment living situation because they will fit nicely into any corner and won’t make the room feel crowded.
If you want to use a treadmill to help with weight loss, you may want to consider purchasing the folding type. This is ideal if you have space limitations in the space that you have available. You can easily put together a workout schedule that allows you to alternate between using a standard treadmill in the morning and a portable unit in the evening.
The benefit of using a treadmill for weight loss goals is that you don’t need to pay for a membership to join a gym. Most gyms offer a membership fee that requires you to pay to use their facilities. You can usually get into one but it is usually pretty expensive and not everyone is happy to spend the money.
There is also the issue that gym memberships tend to be rather expensive compared to home gym fees and fitness center membership fees. By purchasing a folding treadmill you don’t have to worry about buying a membership. In addition you can use it on a daily basis and don’t have to worry about paying monthly fees or having to purchase another treadmill to replace what you are using.
When you buy a treadmill, whether it is a stationary or mobility treadmill, you don’t have to worry about keeping it in good working order or being able to get to it quickly. If you are going to be out of your home, it will be inconvenient to have to use a treadmill that can only be reached by a vehicle or by hiring someone to transport it. Instead of having to run back and forth to the treadmill you’re home, you can simply pack it up and take it with you.
You will be able to keep a small room to yourself because they fold away neatly and won’t take up much space. They are so easy to use and you don’t have to worry about having to deal with taking care of the treadmill or having to keep it in good working order. They are great for families and can be moved from room to room without any additional hassle.
Most people who purchase these are interested in helping to burn off extra calories and for weight loss goals. They can help you lose the extra pounds that come with old age as well. People who have problems losing weight due to health problems can greatly benefit from using a treadmill.
When you are in a home gym you may be using several different equipment at the same time. When you purchase folding treadmills you can use them for several different activities and not be bothered with managing multiple pieces of equipment.
Choosing the right model of treadmill depends on how you are going to use it. If you just want to use it for exercise purposes you may be better off getting a cheaper model, but if you are looking for a piece of exercise equipment that will help you to lose weight then you will want to take a look at a more expensive model.
Tips to Buy Folding Treadmills
Whether you are looking to buy a new or used one, you should know how to buy folding treadmills. This article will discuss the differences between this type of machine and regular treadmills and provide some tips for purchasing a good unit.
Folding treadmills are small units that can be transported easily by car or plane. This is good news for people who like to use their equipment at home and for people who want to have the convenience of the exercise machine when they travel. Folding treadmills are also ideal for those who just want to have an exercise equipment while on vacation.
There are many different sizes of these types of machines. It depends on what you need the exercise machine for and how much you are going to use it for. There are some models that can accommodate up to twenty-four people. If you want to fit as many people as possible into the exercise equipment, you may want to choose a model with more than twenty-four seats.
If you plan to use the equipment for your workout on a regular basis, you may want to consider buying an expensive one that can accommodate many people. A good quality machine should last a long time and offer excellent performance and comfort.
There are many basic designs of this type of equipment. Some of these include ones that come with a belt that fits around the torso. These are known as push-up models, and are the most common kind of machine.
You may also want to look at the upright models. These models do not have a belt, but you will still need to wear comfortable clothes while you exercise. They can be a bit uncomfortable at first but after a few minutes, you will feel great and get the same amount of exercise as the push-up models.
Folding treadmills are easy to store in your home. Most of them can be folded in half for easy storage when not in use. Many have wheels on them, which makes transporting them easily and safely easier.
Folding treadmills are an excellent way to get the exercise that you need at home or at work. They are convenient for traveling, as well, since you will never have to worry about losing them.
Another good feature of these machines is that they are foldable design. This means you can store them inside your home or at work in a safe place. Many models fold up to the size of a suitcase. This makes it easy to take them along when you travel or store them in your garage.
Machines like these can give you better exercise than you could ever get from working out at a gym. The materials used in most of these fitness equipments are lightweight. They give you the exercise you need without putting too much stress on your back.
These models can be easily transported by truck or car and folded for easy storage. There is nothing worse than getting out of bed and having to lug around a heavy machine. These fold up units allow you to easily move them around with you.
The foldable models are usually made of sturdy metal and plastic, so you do not need to worry about them getting knocked over during transport. You may have to store them inside an area where they can be protected from the weather.
The foldable treadmills are very durable and reliable. They can be repaired if something happens to it if you get them wet. It may cost a bit more to purchase new ones, but they are a good investment for any household.
Things to Consider When You Buy Folding Treadmills
A folding treadmill with a two year warranty period happens to be ideal treadmill to purchase for personal use. In most cases people with frequent exercise routines plan to purchase folding models after their exercise routines are done. They eventually dispose off the treadmill in good shape once their exercise routines are complete. It is also not uncommon for them to keep it in their attic or in their basement to keep it clean and safe.
It has been observed that when people do not buy such treadmill, they tend to face problems later on as they are faced by injuries and strains. People tend to injure themselves while using the equipment and this might even result in the loss of a limb. The most common problem that people encounter while exercising with these kinds of treadmills is back injury.
When such injuries occur, people are not likely to undergo surgery or take medications for the treatment of their back problems. There are other types of options available in the market to provide you with effective treatment to your back muscles but a simple treadmill can provide you with quick and effective solution to get rid of the pain and strain. A good treadmill will also reduce the number of muscle cramps that your body goes through while exercising.
Another great benefits that a folding treadmill provides is the ability to make changes and modifications in the settings. You can also have it cleaned regularly to ensure that the working parts remain intact and functioning properly. This means that you do not have to wait for a long time to replace the gears and parts that wear out easily.
Such equipment is easy to transport and is light and portable to carry. It also makes it easy for the user to adjust the incline of the seat. Thus you can choose a suitable position and angle for exercising which will help to improve the amount of exercise you do.
There are different models available in the market which you can choose from. Some of them feature foldable seats while some feature a motorized mechanism to move the seat. Most of these are made with the aim of giving maximum support to the user and also provide comfort to them while doing their workouts. It also features some features like built in weights that allow the user to adjust the weights as per their needs.
Other features include adjustable weights, a bench, and an adjustable incline. You can also find models that feature anti-vibration pads and anti-slip pads. This kind of treadmill provides the maximum protection to the user while exercising on it. If you are in need of a more advanced version of this kind of treadmills, you can opt for a model that comes with an elliptical machine for even more resistance level.
A brand new user of the equipment would prefer to invest in a branded treadmill as they offer the best in terms of quality and performance. If you are a first time user and are looking for the best brand in the market, it might be a good idea to consider buying one from the top names in the market. One of the popular brands that are well known for its quality and performance is Shimano. The company produces many models and you should check out its websites so that you can get all the details about the latest models in the market.
Another good way to make the most of your investment is to go in for a model with the warranty. This means that the company will help you if there are any problems with your purchase. They will replace the part or the whole item if it breaks down within the warranty period of one year.
You should also keep the model number of the treadmill at hand so that you can identify the model that you are looking for in the future. as you might have to replace the parts of the treadmill as per the model number.
You can search the internet to see what other users have to say about the different models in the market. and try to compare the various models that you find.
