~16/12/2022~ Currently feeling very cold and possibly ill from cold which isn’t so fun. I had a plan to get some left over work stuff done in the morning, but as usual, time got eaten away with other tasks - lots of logistics to arrange in terms of getting to parentals and rail strikes etc. So had only really done house stuff by the time it came to tuning into ND staff network meeting, which as usual ends up capturing my full attention, but in a good way. Afterwards H arrived - helped me with the washing, then we went for a McDs lunch again! When we were there this little girl (probably only 2 or 3) kept on coming over to me to touch my chenille jumper - it was really sweet - we got the impression she was ND kin! We went on to Pet At Home to get some cat litter, then for a walk at the burial ground, which still had lovely crunchy snow to walk on. H dropped me home after as it’s been arrange for my Pom to pick me up this evening on his way back from seeing friends in Eastbourne. Started feeling quite poorly when I got home - stomach has gone bad and been a bit headachy - could just as easily be MCAS. Still managed to get the piece of outstanding work done even though it was a bit of a struggle. Then been slowly packing as quite a lot to remember for the weekend as got to bring rock choir performance stuff as got a performance tomorrow nearer to parentals. As the sun peeks through my window, I’m all set for a day of adventure with my favorite human—Dad! 🌞 We’re talking sandy paws, salty breezes, and endless fetch games. 🎾

~31/10/2022~ It was a good day in many ways - finished writing email to old therapist and set it first thing in the morning - C replied straight away outlining her intention reply by the end of the day and apologising for what happened before - not replying at all. While H came in and cleaned I replied to an email from uni giving my ‘official’ reason for leaving. Once H was finished we headed down to Saltdean for a walk by the sea and a stop at the cafe for hot chocolate and cheesy chips - it started out really sunny, then clouded over so I had to borrow H’s cardigan for the walk back to the car! I felt very wiped out when I got home - logged on for the first of an ND peer support group for work, but only me and the facilitator turned up, so we had a bit of a chat then left. I played sims for the rest of the afternoon as was so wiped out. C emailed me back as promised - it was actually a really lovely and helpful email 🤍 - it made our heart happy but also made us miss her now we’re not feeling quite as bitter about the therapy situation. There was a lot to digest - already read it over twice, and think it will be helpful to go back to again. Had left over Indian takeaway for dinner, and while it was lovely, was perhaps a little too much for my body to handle :/ Went to rock choir in the evening - we were learning a Christmas song - which always feels odd so early, especially when there were trick or treaters outside on the street - we always have to rehearse them early ready for Christmas gigs.
