I wanted to draw something cute and simple for Kirby today. I was gonna add a regular sprout but then I remembered Beanbons existed lol

Popstar creatures part 2

This group of organisms has a thick rocky shell, and moves by levitating. The lower hole in its face is a nostril. Its mouth is underneath, and is similar to that of a sea urchins. They hunt by slamming themselves on what's underneath them.

5 Blucko: This one disguises itself as a star block.

6 Dekabu

1 Gansan: These small ones hunt in packs.

These are similar to the above group except for them actually walking on two limbs.

3 Moundo: The spiky moustache is hazardous.

4 Metalun

5 Blocky

6 Skully: A relative of the aboves whose mouth has migrated forwards. It lacks the sturdiness of its relatives, so it hunts smaller prey than the aboves, and may bite into larger prey or be blood sucking parasites; many new niches have opened up for this divergent group!

7 Gravy: Similar to the skullies, but this one has convergently evolved from the legged ones.

1 Starblock: Its a plant! They levitate and catch very small organisms with their rootish tendrils. Often they will group up and form colonies connected to each other and share resources. Can be an excellent food crop.

Next we have mobile plants. This may or may not mean they can disconnect from the ground. Some have the ability to move their mouth to catch prey, while others have only a simple hole as a mouth, and catch prey with tendrils emerging from it. Moving around requires extra energy, so they need to breathe out of small holes on either side of the face.

2 Kacti: A desert organism that is quite acrobatic for a plant.

4 Woods: When young, they wander around on eight legs. These sprouts are not cared for by the adults. They wander far until they find another group as soon as they emerge from the ground. Many do not make it. Once they reach a certain size they become sedentary, and the legs elongate to better anchor themselves to the ground. Under rare occasions, a large one may be able to move with effort. These are sapient organisms. Their lungs have become connected to the mouth, allowing for more sound capabilities to communicate with other sapient species. They can use wind type magic and produce a surprisingly strong gust of wind from their mouth. They will gladly give you their tasty fruit. However, if you become a threat, stepping into a forest of them will result in roots rising out of the dirt to crush you.

1 Snoozroot: A rooted plant that spits poison to kill and dissolve prey before slurping it up. Also comes in fire and sand type magic users.

2 Lovely: Pretends to be a normal flower, but will capture any unaware prey within range.

3 Rosely: Another species of Lovely.

1 Boten: A spiky plant that scoots itself across the desert using tiny inch worm like movement.

2 Totenga: A carnivorous plant that can grab you with its face fingers.

3 Gobchomplin: A big carnivorous plant with a lure extending from its mouth.

4 Spire vine stalk: Not a mobile plant, but there was room here for it. A huge flower bulb grows at the top of a tall stalk. If it gets uprooted by an outside force, the weight of the bulb can crush smaller creatures if they are unfortunate enough to be in the way. If not disturbed, it will grow into a beautiful flower.

1 Stactus: A desert plant that likes to congregate in groups.

2 Bigger Stactus: A bigger species that can burrow in the sand.

3 Crazy Stactus: A rooted species that will thrash about when disturbed.

4 Bulby: It spends most of its time in the dirt, but can relocate if needed.

5 Foley: Hazardous flying organisms. It purposely falls and explodes on prey, hoping to kill it to feed the seeds its scattered when it exploded.

6 Flapbon: Not to be confused with the explosive Foley. These might only hurt you on accident and bonk you on the head if it haphazardly tosses its seeds or encounters an issue causing it to fall.

7 Beanbon: Wandering plants. Come in multiple species of different sizes.

8 Leafan: A plant capable of flight.

The last house project was painting the kitchen; I'll probably get nominated for painting the living room in a couple months too. In a broader sense working on just making the new house ours (especially Shadow's, Draven's, Mitzi's, Skye's, and beanbon's lol bc they seem to have a lot of sway & we're all ok with that).

As for out of body, been working on some new music as always. a little happier if not lighter than a lot of our stuff - pretty stoked about it!

Ivy Design

I've been meaning to post a drawing of Ivy since I drew her a while back, but kept putting it off. But this is Ivy! She's a Kaabii x Beanbon hybrid, which her younger brother looking a lot more beanbon than her haha, seems she lucked out with the gene pool!

But, I drew her because this young lady is the lass that future Kenma has gotten a little crush on! And I can confirm they are a pairing and sooner or later I'll reveal the little beanbon x bat child they have who is adorabllleeeee but for now you guys can keep her design! and bask in her cuteness!

I find it funny how much she looks like a bunny, but those aren't bunny ears they're the beanbon leaves sprouting out of her head!! pffttt
