My cat...he love me so. So loyal and loving forever. Beloved bald butt baby. He give awkward cuddles and loves and cat flops. He do big meow and go meow meow meow meow meow when we see each other again whenever we part. He doesn't like people but I am forgiven because I'm a goblin and he knows it.

Of all people he could've loved, of all places he could've gone. Every chance and choice he could've made, he is here with me. And he chose that himself entirely.

I am honored to have earned his love, and I'm grateful to know that love is undying. He fears nothing as long as I'm still here.

tbh our cats are like. the straight A students of cats. the honor roll children. not in an intelligence way of course bc theyre all stupid as all hell but all things considered they're VERY well behaved. none of them try to run outside anymore (Barold used to but...I'll get to that in a sec). they are all very affectionate and don't mind being picked up or petted and snuggled. they will in fact crawl all over us and flop/perch/curl up on and around us whenever we're on the couch or in bed. they mostly get along with each other (still only tolerating Amelie but the boys have loved each other since like 2 weeks after meeting).

one time a couple weeks ago I went out to meet June after work and we stopped for food and nobody was home for like 45 minutes and I didn't close the front door all the way apparently. so when we got back Barold was waiting at the corner of the building, literally right beside where the door is, meowing at us. LIKE??? SIR????? and we were so freaked out bc oh god what if the other two got out but. nope. they were inside just fine and dandy. didn't care at all about the potential for Outside. Barold went straight back inside with us too! don't know what he was doing that whole time but he was perfectly safe and sound outside our door when we arrived so we think he didn't go far (we live on a busy main road...would've been a REAL issue if hed tried to go anywhere).

Amelie was a stray for at least a year if not 2 years before we got her and she has ABSOLUTELY no interest in going back outside!!! she just watches birds from the window and is totally chill with that. and Lucky doesn't try to go out either bc he's scared of outside and that's fine by me. these babies are actually kinda perfect for us even if they're menaces sometimes.

I’ve been playing GENSHIN IMPACT for over a year now and reading a bit of fic here and there, mostly of the Tartali and Zhongli&Venti variety, but then Sumeru hit and oh hey Alhaitham is an amazing unit in a quickbloom team and then Kaveh hurricaned his way into my heart and oh no suddenly I was in love and absolutely tearing my way through every bit of Haikaveh I could get my hands on because christ there’s no way Hoyoverse isn’t writing them that way on purpose. I mean, I’m already a sucker for Old Married Couple type bickering, but then you give me the undercurrent of how much they genuinely mean to each other? How much Alhaitham is genuinely caring about how self-destructive Kaveh is? How Kaveh just absolutely will not shut up about Alhaitham, even the other characters are like “You talk about him so much that it’s like he’s been here with us all night.”? Yeah, of course I fell in love. So, here, cry about a gacha game having beautifully designed characters with just the right types of personality and funny banter that know how to knock me the fuck out with both delight and genuine feelings about idiots in love. Or just old elemental grandpas who annoy the shit out of each other because they’re both several millennia old and nobody else understands their weird friendship.
