that MetaTM very quickly grew to like four full-body paragraphs. one day i will write my deep-dive analysis on why beau hurts my feelinfs so bad. i am insane about her. do you think about her . i think about her. and her Very Very complicated connections with the cobalt soul .and also ioun. to some degree. and how that could draw another connection between her (faithless monk of a religious organization) and yasha (woman who hits things real hard is randomly ChosenTM by some god she didn't think about much until he delivered yoinked her from evil obann and beau's one singular halfhearted attempt to connect to ioun (her only show of faith, um.her agony in the garden moment) ended in her butt-dialing the Eyeballs Guy, objectively hilarious but also like ohh okay so (going by a direct quote of marishas) she meditates on a gravestone of an ioun worshiper in an attempt to "get some sort of connection to somebody who might give [her] some sort of an answer" on how to get rid of or find an advantage with the eyes. and instead. guess what, beau. you don't get a deity like so many of your friends do. the goddess of the religious organization that kidnapped you either doesn't want to talk to you or isn't able to talk to you (is the somnovem too strong? is your faith too weak? you only pray when you want something) and instead. in that moment where beau throws in the towel and tries to talk to ioun, she connects to the person who tricked her into getting the eyes in the first place. she doesn't get any help from the divine. she gets lucien. thee one moment where she really tries to ask for help she doesn't get anything except that fucker's voice. either because ioun can't or won't help, or because beau's too far gone for her to reach. she's alone, or she's unreachable, or she's unreachable because the somnovem is blocking the one singular call for help that she tosses up to ioun. throws up

Loving where the new chapter is going. Apparently the Spider Queen is sort of opening up to Reader, Huntsman still seems dead set on his "You're dead" threat from a while before, he's just being cheeky about it. Can't wait to see where the relationship between these idiots goes

Hi! As far as your post asking what we’d want to see for WCW, I hope to see more of Beau and Alex, to see more of Beau’s true colors with Alex. I’m interested to see where that goes, especially because of the story’s summary (about how Beau could cost Alex his life, I love angsty stories). Whatever direction you take it, I can’t wait to read it!! It’s the best jalex story I’ve read! :)

We definitely have a lot of character development for Beau to get through, so that's going to take up several chapters that are upcoming. But don't worry because it is a Jalex story, so that means that Jack is never far off. :-)
