happy wbw:) what's one thing from your worldbuilding that you're most excited to share/for others to see?
it's,,, a wbw,,,, haha (sorry)
I think for htdo it's just my love for my religion! judaism has a rich but very difficult to find and research folklore, and it isn't expanded in the same ways that xtian folklore is because hell/the afterlife, which much debated, isn't really as canonized or taken as seriously in our cultures and sects. there are notable exceptions of course,* but lucifer, hell and its hierarchy... we just don't have it. there are of course notable demons and spirits, but even that was very difficult for me to research and pull any decisive facts for. so there's a lot of using my own principles and upbringing in judaism to create a rich world based on the parts i love dearest about judaism and the way we intersect with other ethnicities, cultures, and parts of the world. we're not a monolith in any sense of the word and i hope that it comes across that way in my world and storytelling of htdo <3
*always take anything i say about judaism with a grain of salt knowing jews love to argue (affectionate) and for every answer there will be two contrary ones
I drew this in Japanese class. Basically my friend next to me saw me fanboying over @kanininaritai's plush and she was like "draw duck boy now" and I was like "but we gotta translate the document" and she was like "draw him. No balls" so here he is
Sadly I cannot erase the pencil sketch properly because this paper really hates inking for some reason - when I try to erase the lines the ink goes away 😭
