I was so wrapped up in the stepfather harassing Uea that I didn't even consider that HE WOULD DO THE SAME TO UEA'S SISTER.

To be fair, until ep 8 I believed that his pedophilic appetite catered to teenage boys. Now knowing that he harassed a waitress, I've come to the appalling epiphany that he most likely abusing Uea's sister as well. This is why She is so insistent that Uea comes home even though she knows his background. She is hoping that now that Uea is an adult he will be able to stop Son.

First of all, is sweetheart Shell Thankrit, whom we already saw in Bed Friend as Boom, the guy that almost broke his neck looking at Uea in Ep1 and then tried to give him flowers but took rejection like a champ in Ep9, and we later also met him as Jeng's friend in Step By Step.

But second, is the setting for the character:

Eldest son of a wealthy family, really important father (maybe another politician? really rwrb of promnont), graduated in Business and Administration... Why the fuck do you need to be working in Playboyy if not just for the thrill of it?

I know we are set on Porche, his younger brother, to be the culprit. The show wanted us to think is Captain but we saw through the veil and choose petty queen Porche, however... The ToddBlackification of PromNont could be the plot twist of this show.

Because imagine Nont actually trusting Prom, thinking he really didn't have anything to do with Nant's "disappearance" (I truly believe he's dead at this point), getting so comfortable with him to the point of investigating as he's with him...

... For him to then be the big villain, our BBEG. Because there's something in those eyes that doesn't make me trust him. I don't trust neither of the siblings.

i definitely agree with first when he said sandray can’t be friends if they end up not being together romantically. it would end terribly (firstly they’d probably last a week trying and end up back in bed together) especially for ray. we saw how he was with mew and he’d be 100 times worse trying to simply be sand’s friends despite being in love with him. and ray knows this is Real love and requited. and yes he can try moving on but it’d be so hard to move on having him constantly in his life as well. and if he were to see sand move onto someone else? would not end well. same with sand. and of course sand would have his own reasons they can’t be simply friends. he was already trying to cut ray off after he started “dating” mew before he even knew ray liked him back and before they were anything truly romantic because it was too hard for him to watch.

I honestly cannot see any version of this story where Sand and Ray would’ve stayed bed friends. Sand knew it from the jump if his confessional at the end of Ep2 is anything to go by. They have a natural banter and chemistry that would make it impossible for them to be friends, even if they did try to end their relationship on good terms.

You’re right, for both of them—but especially Ray—I think it would almost be more painful to try to be friends than endure a gnarly breakup. They’ve both already faced that threat of what it would mean to lose each other, and neither handled it well. Ray immediately got jealous and possessive, and Sand retreated into himself. Not at all healthy for either party.

I also agree that this is yet another distinction between Sand and Mew. Ray has lived in the friend zone with Mew for years, but Sand was never just a friend. And you’re right, there’s the added bonus that Ray knows his love for Sand is requited AND they’ve slept together multiple times (and we already know there’s a very emotional element to that given Ep9). All this to say: there’s a deep attachment there that would be very very painful to break.

Anyways, I still maintain that First saying SandRay cannot be friends means a good outcome for them. I will live in this delusion while I can, lol.

Alright ep9 initial reaction

I’m so happy we had a lot of Nick and Sand scenes. Just 10/10 on representation for queer friendships. Their kiss had me rolling hitting my bed because they are just the sweetest. Who hasn’t kissed their other gay bestie during a break up then decided nahhhhh we are good.

Also Ray finding them in the middle of the night was priceless I was howling… Ray still hasn’t gotten his 3some I think Boston might have murdered him for sleeping with Nick tho.

I’m very glad with the Nick and Boston scenes made me feel warm and fuzzy I’ll be excited to talk about them later.

But we got the return of the Dramatic word again… Nick is extremely dramatic but he deserves to be he’s terribly in love with Boston. I’m so proud of him the entire episode great friend to Sand and a 10/10 good ex boyfriend to Boston even though he didn’t need to be. But as I said I’ll talk about that later.

I didn’t hate the Mew scenes this week kind of felt like we got to see him progress to the point of admitting he doesn’t like ray. Also think Top doing the right thing by Ray and Sand was a big leap in his character so gold star for both Mew and Top.

Now Ray he gets some frowning faces in general… following Nick to get to Sand is hella crazy. So much overstepping and he’s incredibly self absorbed. I do love him and I relate to obsessing about how people will think of me when I’m dead. Fantasying how it will be when I’m gone over and over. Clinging onto someone else’s dream because the dream for yourself extends 6 feet below. But it’s still not okay to fuck with sand literally or metaphorically. 😩 Ray needs a reality check and therapy so badly. He can’t acknowledge he already has won the grand prize.

I think the random new love interest is supposed to show that Ueas feelings for King aren’t just due to King being the first guy who is interested in him AND is a nice, decent person. Maybe it’s Ueas secret worries as well. Does he actually like King or does he just like him for respecting him?
