😂, I don’t blame you at all for liking Cienna. She’s definitely a character that has an alluring appeal (if you’re into her sort of vibe).

Cienna in love is quite the creature, I have to say. She’s completely devoted, her iron-clad composure crumbling in the face of her partners smile, with a fierce protectiveness that makes sure everyone knows they shouldn’t mess with what’s hers. Truly the type to say something like: “Ever since I met you, there has been no one else worth thinking about.”

Honestly if you ever want to ask something about Cienna feel free to! I’m always happy to share and/or do something for you all! (I’d just tag it in a way so no one would mistake it for canon.)

Total non sequitur of a question but what do you think of the DCEU?

I like the non sequitur! I hope y'all don't feel like you can only send me asks about the Kverse lol (though of course I'm always happy to answer those!)

I'll give you a very brief review of each:

-Man of Steel: I enjoyed it for the most part. I don't really gel with all the Jesus-y imagery, the bizarre choices with Jonathan, or the incredible amounts of collateral damage (you can't avoid everything but Superman would definitely try to limit it), but I kinda dig the look of all the Kryptonian stuff, I like Henry Cavill's more brooding Superman, and Zod was a cool antagonist.

-Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice: wayyy too many things going on. I can't McFucking believe they made Jimmy Olsen a CIA plant and killed him off immediately. I don't completely hate that version of Lex Luthor but he gets grating pretty quickly. The Knightmare stuff is pretty eyeroll worthy IMO (especially once they double down on it later). The titular duel is pretty good, but very short, and leads into some of the worst stuff in the movie. Doomsday sucks!

-Suicide Squad: aside from some cool freaky stuff with Enchantress, and Viola Davis and Margot Robbie being great casting choices, this one's kinda nothing to me. Rick Flagg, Capt. Boomerang and Deadshot are various flavors of decent to good. Tried to do a Guardians of the Galaxy-y thing and failed miserably. Top contender for worst Joker adaptation of all time.

-Wonder Woman: Great, if very simple plot-wise. The Ares stuff at the end really lets the rest of the movie down, but most of the movie's very cool and fun. I still get chills from the no man's land scene! Chris Pine's Steve Trevor is pretty damn good (but Chris Pine is just good in general)

-Justice League (Whedon's version): I actually like the choice to have a more colorful look for a Justice League movie, but yeah, not good. To say nothing of the behind the scenes drama, they tried to do what the MCU did with the Avengers with half the build-up. Doesn't feel earned at all. Some good action and character interactions, but that's about it.

-Aquaman: Pretty fun, I really appreciate the commitment to being just kinda bonkers, from the more comic-accurate looks to the ginormous underwater battle. I don't really love Momoa's Aquaman but I didn't mind him too much on his own.

-Shazam!: One of my favorites in the DCEU. Doesn't overcomplicate itself, doesn't exhaust itself with references to other stuff, just a good story about found families with real heart, some good humor, and a decent villain.

-Birds of Prey: Other than the bizarre choice to give Cassandra Cain's name to a character that couldn't be more different, I fucking love this one. Very fun, great action, and it reminded me I have a crush on Mary Elizabeth Winstead lol

-Wonder Woman 1984: Sucks. I hate to say it, I went in thinking I'd really enjoy it but it was genuinely painful to watch for the most part. Not even the power of Pedro Pascal and Chris Pine combined could save this one.

-Zack Snyder's Justice League: Definitely an improvement overall compared to the theatrical release, but dear lord it did not need to be 4 hours long. Flash's turn-back-the-clock gambit was super cool. Legit kinda ruined by the Joker monologue in the Knightmare, lol.

-The Suicide Squad: Didn't watch it! I saw how bloody and murder-happy it'd be and just shrugged and moved on. I'm sure it's as good as people say, but I'd have to be in a very particular mood to wanna watch it, tbh.

-Black Adam: Enjoyed it quite a bit, though the presence of the JSA in the modern day with very little explanation is a bit jarring. The Rock's Black Adam is a bit too heroic and personable for my tastes but brutal enough that I'm okay with it. Kinda loved Pierce Brosnan's Doctor Fate (except for the suit design, I hated it)

-Shazam! Fury of the Gods: Haven't watched it yet, but I don't hear great things about it, so not super enthused about it. Probably will watch it eventually.

-The Flash: I categorically refused to watch this one because 1) I got spoiled on what happens to Supergirl and y'all know I love Kara so it pissed me off, and 2) the CGI nostalgia fest felt extremely cynical and cash-grab-y to me. Not particularly interested in watching this one, but maybe someday.

-Blue Beetle: Gods, I really wanted to watch this one in theaters. It was in my town for all of two days and I couldn't go :( I plan on watching this one soon-ish - even if it's really bad I'll probably enjoy it, I'm a Jaime simp haha :P

-Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom: Genuinely didn't know this one was coming out. Also not particularly interested in watching it, but also not against it, so I'll probably end up putting it on some really boring weekend hahaha.

But now that he has a rather calm and nice relationship…. / Except he's not a punching bag to take insults, abuse and bullying countless times. Every person has a breaking point of how much online bullying they can take - because make no mistake, the vast majority of the insults thrown at him and people close to him - body shaming, among others - were not related at all to his (very human) mistakes.

Some folks - celebrities and normies alike - decide to take a break or delete their sm accounts altogether, for the sake of their peace of mind and mental health. Good for them, the same way it's good for those who choose to stay. Tom Hiddleston, Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Olsen, Pete Davidson and many others deleted their accounts and all their sm presence, and nobody said or even hinted at them being "unprofessional", on the contrary, everybody understood they have their own serious reasons for doing so. Back Story.

Rebecca was born to high school sweethearts Elaine and Jim, who had this point has already been blessed with their first child Benjamin.

She could only assume that since Ben was such a good kid growing up, they wanted to have another one thinking their second child was going to be so good as well.

In a sense, Rebecca was a good kid... By her own standards. Growing up, she was constantly in the shadow of her brother and constantly compared to him even if it was something simple as when she first started tying her own shoes.

As a little kid, this made her frustrated but she didn't know any better and kept continuing to follow her brother's footsteps sometimes quite literally. When he got into swimming, she went into gymnastics. When he hated a certain cereal, she didn't like it either. When his shoes got ripped, surprisingly hers did too.

It wouldn't be until late middle school - early high school, that Rebecca felt herself pulling away from her brother's traits and forming some of her own. Call it puberty.

She kept up the gymnastics, but finally found her own voice one day when her parents were going over grades. She tried all of her life to be an A student, but just couldn't quite keep it up. At most she always had at least two or three A's while the rest were all B's. Her parents kept pushing her to do better when one day she snapped at them.

Snapping at parents resulted in her first ever grounding for the whole weekend. Of course, this wouldn't be the last punishment they would give her throughout her life. No, her back talking and skipping out on chores continued to make her spend her weekends couped up in her room.

High school would only make things worse for the Blake family as Rebecca finally had her first ever boyfriend. Another kid who lived in the mines, rumors being around that their family was a disowned member from some more wealthy family back in Iron Hill. Maybe her parent's didn't approve, but she couldn't care about them. She was in love.

Surprisingly, against most of the odds, they stuck it out through high school and could have even made it through college if he wanted to go. Rebecca couldn't figure out what she wanted to do in her life, but she assumed the community college just in the next town over would get some ball rolling.

At college, she continued her gymnastics training for more so as a hobby but with that she was able to become certified in being an instructor. She eventually figured out what she wanted to do was become a teacher and started in early childhood education. Here she got her bachelor's degree.

She also got herself wrapped in a whirlwind romance that started so fast everyone knew it would eventually come crashing down. Which, it did, but we'll get to that later. She was smitten with him from the start, even brought him home during Christmas break to show him off to her parents. He was everything she dreamed her husband would be. In the two years they dated, they eloped one beautiful spring weekend after finding out she was pregnant.

Rebecca came back to Iron River alone after the baby had been born. Such a beautiful baby needed a beautiful name which was deemed as Eleanor Jane (nicknamed as Ellie). Her amazing husband told her he needed to spend some time at his own parents' house before wanting to make the commitment of being a dad.

That was five years ago and he hadn't shown up yet. Rebecca has been running out of excuses as to why Eleanor's dad isn't here. The latest one is that he's out on a boating trip for half the year.

If that wasn't enough for her to handle, her mother has progressively gotten worse with her illness. Her memory gets jumbled more now to which Rebecca and her dad have hidden the car keys and added extra locks to the doors higher up.

Rebecca at her breaking point, demands her brother come home to help with whatever he can. She can't do this all on her own and her father can only do so much before it gets to him.

I think itd be a little bittersweet because that'd imply that Luz came back from the demon realm without her friends and thinking her experiences weren't real, so she'd being coming back to the human realm with no friends plus I dont know if what happened to her would make her problems from before better or worse? Her channeling that into a book series would be cool though because that would play a lot into the fan theories that she's Azura/wrote the Azura series in the future?

Summary:

Harleen Quinzel is the new Intern in the Arkham Asylum, place where she meets the distinguished criminal Arthur Fleck, mostly known as the Joker. She fears of him, until for a meaningless revenge and corruption inside the psychiatric hospital, the Joker becomes his patient. In every psychiatric consultation they will have, Harleen will gradually feel a connection to Arthur, a fatal connection that will lead to her lethal destiny.

Notes: Well, after thinking about them a lot, I've decided to translate my first fanfic from “Joker” into English, what an emotion! I hope the translation be decent hehe. Anyway I'm sorry if I make some mistakes grammatical or writing mistakes :3

Chapter 1

"Good morning, citizens of Gotham City, we hope you're all right from wherever you're watching us. Today is a tremendously sad day for all of us... Today 10 years ago was the Tragedy of Gotham City..."

The day was painted gray. For many people, they hoped the day would end soon.

But for her, the day just starting.

She thought about it while picking up her dark brown hair and making a bun with this one. She had to be completely prepared.

She looked her nails, making sure were free of polish and short. It wasn't like her nails always going to wear nail polish, she just wanted to make sure.

The truth is she was very anxious, and of the same anxiety, she had eaten her nails. It had to be a perfect day for her.

She looked in the mirror, feared that her makeup would be outrageous, fortunately for her it was actually subtle. She did not use many products on her face, however, she considered it perfect for the occasion.  The only thing missing was the most basic thing, the essential, what could not be missed by anything in the world in a makeup: The lipstick.

She looked at her collection of lipsticks, a collection made up for only five lipsticks. Of all, she chosen and had among her fingers one of her favorites, a red lipstick.

She uncovered it and looked it. Yes, it could be the ideal color, the one indicated for the occasion, because from the first time she was fortunate to try it on, it was the type of lipstick that made her feel more confident and self-assured.

"If you're gonna start use this kind of makeup, that would be no problem if you start helping me with the rent of the apartment, just pick a good corner, where the police don't notice you, but the customers do"

Remembering her mother's words when she discovered that lipstick in her collection, she made her keep it immediately. Ashamed, she preferred to use an opaque rose lipstick.

She looked one more time in the mirror of her dressing table: Makeup ready, hairstyle ready, clothes too. Everything was ready in her.

It was her first day of the Internship, her first day as a psychiatrist, and even though she loved her career as a doctor and the approach she decided to give it, she did not like the idea of where she would develop professionally. Well, she didn't deserve to be there.

She was one of the best students (Probably the best) of her generation in the specialty of Psychiatry. She wanted to escape from Gotham City, because that city, also being one of the worst cities in the country, brought her terrible memories. So, putting all his knowledge to work, she managed to present an excellent thesis that dealt with how criminal comportment was born in the society.

Of course, it was a pretty flattered job, one of the best in decades. However, the teachers in charge of graduating the psychiatrist, knowing that, despite the woman's attitude, they could see she was someone very beautiful, and they did not want to miss the opportunity.

The teachers told to the girl that for the excellent investigation they gave her approval and honors, but if she really wanted that, she must "met with them in their offices from 8:00 PM" or see them in the “Mermaid Motel” on the outskirts of the city at 9 p.m.

She, remembering fears of the past, rejected to be alone with any of those teachers who had made sexual insinuations to her, and even she exhibited them. They, in revenge, decided to take away her right to choose their Internship place and send it to the worst place where she could do it:

In the Arkham Asylum

She felt like a kick in her stomach when the rest of her classmates escaped to better places in the country. But she had no choice but to prepare and fulfill what the destiny told her to do.

Once ready, with her hand bag, her rounded glasses over her nose and her doctor’s coat under her arm, the young woman walked once more to her mirror.

“... It's your first day... It's your first day Harleen... Don't screw it up... Don't do it”

She left her room, ready for everything.

“Mom, I’m leaving”

Harleen looked that her mother ignored her, while she sat watching the news on TV. Without saying anything else, she left her apartment.

Not much happened when on the subway, Harleen delve into her thoughts and occasionally looked at people. She read from afar the newspaper headline of an older man who was focused on his reading.

Harleen knew who they referred to in the city as The Dark Knight, some are agreed with him and defended him, others hated him and wanted him to be arrested as soon as possible.

Harleen didn't care if that vigilante was doing the right thing or not, what surprised her was that someone outside the authorities did their job.

Leaving aside that subject in her mind she concentrated again on her thoughts.

Despite being at Arkham, she was enthusiastic.

When she was a teenager, she had always been fascinated by psychiatry: The study of mental illness.

What she could wait from that day?

“Hey little lady, give me your wallet”

“Eh?”

Oh yes, the bad luck lady always accompanied her everywhere.

Harleen's blue eyes rose, a guy with bad loos was pointing her with a knife. Her eyes became small when she noticed the assaulter's intentions.

She looked everywhere, waiting for help. People acted like what was going on in front of her was a passing vision. Something that wasn't really going on.

In a fearful and shy voice, she spoke to the criminal.

“No... Please... It’s, it’s my first day in…”

“Give me the fucking wallet if you don't want to die!”

Scared, she pulled her wallet out of her bag and took out the money, handed it over to the assailant.

20 bucks.

“That’s all, bitch?”

“It's, it's all I've got, I don't have more...”

Frightened, she hoped it would be enough for the robber, but she just felt something damp on her cheek, it was a spit, he spit on her.

“Fucking poor”

When the thief leaves, she looked everywhere again, the subway wasn't so full, but if there were enough people to get up to defend her, it was just a knife.

But she at once thought that not everyone would give her life for a stranger.

Disappointed that her day will not start as she wanted, she looked out the subway window as she wiped herself with a tissue she pulled out of her bag.

A tear ran down the cheek cleaned, dried that drop quickly. She didn't want to ruin her makeup.

When she finished to clean her face, she breathed.

She was hoping it wasn't a bad day.

She was expecting that with all the hopes she had left.

When he had problems with the Ellie story he stayed. When he took tons of insults about his trips during the covid and especially his relationship with Ale he stayed. But now that he has a rather calm and nice relationship.... / Except he's not a punching bag to take insults, abuse and bullying countless times. Every person has a breaking point of how much online bullying they can take - because make no mistake, the vast majority of the insults thrown at him and people close to him - body shaming, among others - were not related at all to his (very human) mistakes.

Some folks - celebrities and normies alike - decide to take a break or delete their sm accounts altogether, for the sake of their peace of mind and mental health. Good for them, the same way it's good for those who choose to stay. Tom Hiddleston, Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Olsen, Pete Davidson and many others deleted their accounts and all their sm presence, and nobody said or even hinted at them being "unprofessional", on the contrary, everybody understood they have their own serious reasons for doing so. I don't understand why it would be different for Sebastian - unless it's the same ol' shameless entitlement to his life and decisions for the simple reason of once calling yourself a "fan" that - I have no doubt about it - is also one of the things that made him sick of social media, and rightfully so.
