You loved Bella and you loved their friends, but after a long day at work you preferred to go straight to bed then be at a party.

The loud sound of music was the first thing to greet you when you approached your shared home, then the smell of alcohol and then the multiple bodies inside your home.

You pushed through crowds of people as you tried to locate your partner. Finally you found them, standing in a group of three in a quiet enough spot. You figured it would be rude not to say hi.

Bella saw you approach, a large grin forming on their face their eyes met yours. They waved enthusiastically at you.

Noticing the gesture, Bella's friends turned to look at you. Each smiling friendly at you. You smiled back.

You walked over to Bella, interlocking your hands as they pecked your lips.

"Y/N! It's been so long, where have you been?" A new face entered the conversation, joining the circle as they stood beside Amy. It was your friend Leah. She was right it had been nearly three weeks since you seen her. You two never went that long without talking.

You plastered your best smile even if you didn't feel it. Your eyes threatened to close as exhaustion was creeping down onto you.

"I've been busy with work. Sorry, I should've gotten in touch." You apologised. You meant every word. You missed being around friends, however you were practically half asleep right now.

"Don't worry about it, I understand." Leah smiled genuinely, waving off your apology.

Bella traced their thumb against your hand. The action making it harder to keep yourself awake.

A new topic of conversation arose, everyone engaged in it. You took their distraction to excuse yourself.

"I think I'm going to head to bed. I can barely keep my eyes open." You whispered into Bella's ear, only for them to hear.

Bella looked at you with worry. "Want me to come with? I can end the party."

You shook your head in response.

"no need. I can sleep through anything. And you should enjoy yourself with everyone, I don't need a babysitter." You kissed their cheek before they could argue back. A shy smile crept onto their face from the action.

Leaving Bella with their friends you made your way upstairs to your bedroom. Everyone at the party were all close friends of you and Bella, no one was seriously drunk and you trusted each of them to leave on their own and without a mess. It wasn't the first time a party was held in this house.

Shutting the bedroom door behind you helped to muffle out the sound of music and conversation.

Quickly and quietly you changed into your pajamas and got ready for bed.

There was no better feeling than crawling into bed after a long day. Wrapping yourself under the duvet you lay on your side and closed your eyes to try fall asleep.

The door creaked as it opened, the noise no longer muffled and light from the hall poured into the bedroom. It disappeared instantly once the door was shut.

You looked up in confusion.

"Bella? I told you-"

"I want to be here, with you." They cut you off before you could try persuade them to leave.

Bella changed into their own pajamas quickly and brushed their teeth before eagerly getting into bed beside you. You couldn't help but smile.

Immediately, you were pulled closer to them with your head laying on their chest and their arm wrapped around your waist securely.

It was peaceful.

Just you and Bella.

Your limbs were tangled with theirs, you could hear every beat of their heart and feel every breath they took. You couldn't imagine a more perfect place or feeling then being with Bella. Just the two of you.

Bella placed multiple kisses on your face. You felt your face heat up, you burried your face in their shoulder so they wouldn't see your blush.

Bella giggled at you shyness.

"I love you. " they whispered.

You couldn't control your smile from widening. You felt your heart skip a beat and the butterflies in your stomach grow.

"I love you too." You responded quietly but Bella heard. They pulled you closer to them, you didn't even think that was possible.

You never felt happier or more at peace than you did with Bella.

Summary: You find Bella just before the clock strikes midnight on New year's Eve.

Your house was swarmed with people dancing and drinking as music played loudly reaching every corner of the house. You hadn't even met the majority of the people here. Word spread of your party which was enough to lead everyone here.

If they weren't sipping from solo cups, they were dancing. And if they weren't dancing they were playing some party game, and by some chance they weren't doing that, they had been lucky enough to find someone to shamelessly makeout with.

You had spent the night dancing with your friends as the alcohol slowly took over your mind. One by one you had lost them to the sea of people in your home.

You twisted and turned in all directions looking for them. Pushing past strangers as you made your way outside. People began to crowd outside as midnight approached, you continued searching.

In the distance fireworks were being let off. Their bright colourful sparks lighting up the dark, clear night. The loud sound of them being set off causing giddiness to bubble inside of everyone.

You rubbed your eyes as your vision slowly blurred.

The dark silhouette of a figure sat on one of the swings was what motivated you to keep walking despite your growing exhaustion.

You were a good bit away from everybody else by now, the sound of the music losing its volume as you reached the swing set at the bottom of the garden. Clumsily you sat down on the only available one left.

Straight ahead of you, you could see the crowd of people gathered outside the patio, above them you got the perfect view of fireworks shooting into the sky.

"you know how to throw a good party."

The voice from beside you spoke up.

You turned to them, recognising Bella's voice immediately. You frowned.

"Bella what are you doing down here alone? It's scary just seeing a black figure on the swings."

Bella smiled at your comment.

"yet here you are."

"here I am." You confirmed.

It was silent for a moment, both of you watching the crowd ahead.

"me and Lily made a deal that if we both didn't find someone to kiss at midnight, we would be each other's new year's kiss. I'm starting to think that's not going to happen." You sighed softly. In truth it didn't bother you that much, it would've still been nice to not be the only one not getting a new year's kiss.

Bella glanced to where your eyes were fixated. She saw a girl and a boy sloppily making out, and put the pieces together. Her mouth forming an 'o' shape.

You had met Bella a few months ago but in that short time had become impossibly close. You trusted them as much as you did the friends you've had for years longer.

They weren't quite familiar with all your friends yet, but presumed that the girl you were staring at was Lily.

Bella pushed down their disappointment.

"Do you like Lily?" Bella asked, hoping you wouldn't notice the slight jealousy in their voice.

You turned to them not concealing your giggles.

"nah. I was just hoping to not be the only one without a new year's kiss tonight. It's stupid I know." You rested your head against the swing chain.

"if it makes you feel any better, I'm not getting one tonight either." Bella tried lightening up the mood.

You turned your body towards them. They looked good tonight. Short, brunette hair falling just past their shoulders in loose waves. They wore a navy blue crew neck with a black collared shirt underneath.

You hoped it was the alcohol in your system that was making your head fuzzy. Not Bella.

"why not?"

"because I don't think the girl I want to kiss is interested."

Your faces had grown closer and your breathing was heavy. Your heart was beating at a not so normal rate.

"who is she?"

"someone very special."

"do I know her?"

Bella hesitated. Her eyes flickered over to the crowd of people who suddenly grew louder.

"TEN!" Everyone began shouting.

"very well."

"NINE!"

"is she here tonight?" Your eyes grew heavy as they stared at Bella's lips.

"EIGHT!"

"yes. She's right here."

"SEVEN!"

You dragged your legs against the grass to inch the swing closer to Bella.

"SIX!"

Bella's fingers softly trailed up your exposed legs which your dress was too short to cover.

"FIVE!"

Your lips parted at the feeling of their hands on you.

"FOUR!"

Your eyes moved up to Bella's eyes, flickering between them."

"THREE!"

Bella leaned in until your foreheads were touching.

"TWO!"

You cupped their face with your hands as your eyes closed.

Your lips met theirs. Bella's hands found your waist as they deepened the kiss. Cheers from everyone else could be heard. They didn't matter. Multiple fireworks went exploding in the sky, neither you or Bella looked up at them.

when pedro after weeks finally made bella confess to you, you couldn’t be happier, you were about to spend another months with your now partner working on a tv show you’ve grown to love- what a dream, right?

feeling two hand wrapping around your waist made it even more obvious to you.

so you and bella have been dating for a few months and everything is great. a few weeks ago you started filming new episode, which means new people on the set. you got friends with a girl named lily, who’s playing a background character and it’s going good so far.

you would never claim yourself as an oblivious person, you always could tell when people tried to hit on you, but this time, you were completely blind.

lily had a crush on you even before you started filming but seeing you in person made her fall for you even more. she knew you were in relationship with bella (I mean you two made it really obvious) and she knew it was wrong from her to like you but she couldn’t help herself.

she started with just small talks with you during the breaks or between each takes, she would even became friends with bella.

after few days she asked you to hang out, you being a perfect gf obviously told bella, who didn’t really mind because lily seemed nice to them as well.

after few weeks of your friendship with lily bella finally figured out what’s all this about but he didn’t want to seem possessive so she haven’t said anything.

they even wouldn’t if you weren’t completely oblivious and didn’t keep on hanging out with lily.

you of course noticed that bella has been more affectionate when people were around and that they haven’t been as nice to lily as they used to. (not that lily was nice to bella, she sort of ignored them whenever you were around)

“don’t you see that? she’s totally into you!” bella said not really calmly after you confronted her about her behaviour.

“what are you talking about? bella, she’s my friend.” you answered confused.

“she doesn’t wants to be friends with you, the way she looks at you, touches your arms whenever you’re around, or when she’s flirting with you? in front of me? that’s not friendship.” bella says back as if it was completely obvious. (it was)

“bella i-wait, are you jealous?”

“me? jealous? never.”

and that’s when it hit you. bella might be an amazing actor but they can’t lie (at least not to you). you also realised that he was right the whole time. looking back you couldn’t believe you were so blind, maybe you wanted to believe that she’s your friend so bad, you didn’t see the rest of it.

in the upcoming time you made sure that lily gets the hint that you are not interested in her and that you would never choose anyone over bella. (i mean who would, it’s bella)

bella also made sure that lily gets the hint by covering your neck (not just the neck but mainly) in blue and purple bruises, not that it was handy while filming ( your makeup artist wasn’t happy and you better believe that) but it fulfilled its purpose.
