remembering the feeling of running around on Halloween until I’m sweaty and my cousins is sticking to my skin, plotting with my friends which houses to go to next, and anxious every time walking up to the porch and ringing the doorbell or knocking lightly. coming home with my friends and pouring out all of the candy on the floor, picking out which ones we all liked and which ones i didn’t, trading with the others. Sticky hands moving into piles of wrappers making a satisfying crunch. Parents stealing a candy too for themselves and taking sneaky pictures of you to look back on and remember what halloween used to be like.

The hard part is finding somewhere to fit in. Yeah, yeah! We know! You wanna stand out, be different and you're not like everyone else! That's cute! But does it make you happy or is it just enough gas to fuel your ego?

Belongingness is a great part of who you are and without that full sense of community, there is emptiness in your routine. Being nontraditional breaks mold sometimes. Other times, it may just rattle the ground. Either way, you can be different and still find somewhere to fit in. That's why there's diversity and multicultural beings. We need both. Be different enough to have something to offer, but having someone who understands you because you talked and they listened and cared enough to assist or just learn more about you is why being the same is just as important.

I love looking at quotes so much and I’ve recently deeply reconnected with my love of reading. Having a love to connect your life to or a passion when reading a book is such an exciting feeling I missed so much :) I don’t care if the quotes are stupid they bring me happiness and open doors to personal reflection within my consciousness. Whatever feelings they provoke I welcome
