His Best Friend's Brother (Benny Weir X Male!Morgan!Reader)
Masterlist
Request Something!
Summary: After finding out his brother has a crush on his best friend, Ethan does whatever he can to keep them separated. But he soon finds out all his efforts are futile.
A/N: I would’ve made that title “Brother’s Best Friend” but apparently I’ve already written a benny fic with that title lmao
***
You don’t know why Ethan’s so surprised right now. You had been playing a little game of truth or dare with Sarah and Rory to pass the time while you all waited for Benny and Erica to come over. Sarah asked if you had a crush on anyone, and you shrugged and said Benny. Sarah and Rory just nodded, commenting about how it made sense, and you continued with the game.
Ethan looked like a fish out of water.
You couldn’t tell if it was because Benny was a boy or Ethan’s best friend. But either way, he shouldn’t have been surprised. You thought he noticed how you always looked at Benny or how you went to him first after taking down a bad guy to make sure he was okay. Or the way you did anything you could to be near Benny without being too weird about it.
“You guys are just gonna brush past that?” Ethan asked your friends in surprise. Sarah and Rory looked at each other, then you, and then Ethan.
“Yeah. Why?” Sarah asked.
“Why? Why?” Ethan looked like he was about to pull all his hair out. “He likes Benny, my best friend. We’re all in the same friend group; it’s weird.”
“Being in the same friend group hasn’t stopped you from having a crush, E.” You reminded your brother, rolling your eyes. He turned red, looking anywhere in the room but at Sarah. “Are you acting insane because Benny and I are both guys?”
“Of course not!” Ethan looked offended that you would even suggest that. “Y/n, I could care less about that. But he’s my best friend, and you’re my brother. It just feels… Icky.” You couldn’t help but laugh at his choice of wording. Sarah and Rory joined in, and soon all three of you were cackling at your brother’s ridiculousness.
“What are you guys laughing at?” You all jumped at Erica’s sudden presence. Sometimes you hated how sneaky she was.
“Ethan’s throwing a fit because Y/n likes Benny,” Rory answered, earning a slap in the arm from Sarah for exposing your secret the second someone new came into the conversation. But you didn’t really mind. You knew Rory would tell someone eventually, and you probably would’ve told Erica anyway.
“You’d throw a fit, too, if your brother had a crush on your best friend!” Ethan whined.
“Ethan’s right.” Erica nodded, turning to look at you. You all knew there was some kind of joke leading up to this, because there’s no way in hell Erica would actually agree with Ethan. “Y/n, you could totally do better.”
You all laughed at the serious tone in her comment. Even Ethan cracked a smile.
“Okay, ha ha. But I still don’t like it.”
“No one said you had to, Ethan.”
“No one said he had to what?” Your friends had to stop coming into your house unannounced. Benny stood in the living room looking at everyone, holding a few boxes of pizza and a bag that was probably filled with drinks and candy.
“Y/n said that no one said Ethan had to like that- Ow!” Rory was interrupted from spilling truths again by Sarah, who hit him harder than last time. Benny gave the two a strange look but brushed their behavior off.
“Whatever. I got pizza, pop, and sweets to make our teeth rot. What are we watching?” Benny asked as he set everything on the kitchen island. Erica smirked, reaching into her purse to pull out multiple DVDs. Catching sight of the titles, Benny whined, and Sarah squealed. “No, please.”
“Oh, yeah. All three Dusk movies.”
“I’m surprised you don’t have the fourth.” You muttered, standing from your spot on the couch and going to the kitchen to grab plates and food.
“Only because it’s not on DVD yet.”
You grabbed two slices of pizza from one of the boxes when Benny slid to stand next to you.
“I grabbed you your favorites.” You looked at the stuff he pushed toward you, and indeed, he had gotten you your favorite drink and a couple of your favorite candies.
“Thanks, Bens.” You gathered it all around you before looking up at him. It was crazy to you that he was leaning on the countertop and was still taller than you. “You didn’t have to get me all of this.”
“It’s no problem, really.” He smiled at you, and you wished you could look at him forever. The little twinkle in his eye he had when he looked at you made you giddy.
“Oh, nice, pizza.” You were pushed away from each other by an annoying force, more commonly known as your brother. He stood between the two of you, piling his plate with food. After one last look at Benny, you gathered everything in your arms and went to sit on the couch.
When everyone had gotten their food (you, Ethan, and Benny had food. Sarah, Rory, and Erica had some blood bags, and you didn’t want to know where they got them.), you all settled in the living room, either anticipation or dreading the movie marathon that was about to be put on.
Benny sat next to you on the couch, and you were about to offer him one of your sweets when Ethan stood in front of you two.
“Benny, move over a bit, will you?” Ethan made a waving motion to get him to move away from you. You and Benny looked confused. “You’re in my spot.”
“Since when has this been your spot?” You asked. Ethan started to look flustered, trying to come up with an answer.
“Shut up and sit down!” Erica demanded. “The movie’s starting.”
Knowing it’d be better to listen to Erica than continue fighting with Ethan, Benny scooted over, albeit reluctantly. Ethan sat between the two of you, subtly spreading himself out on the couch so you were further away from Benny. You leaned over to Ethan.
“I know what you’re doing.” You whispered to your brother. “Stop it, baby.”
“I’m not doing anything,” Ethan muttered back, ignoring your glare to focus on the movie.
You suffered through the first movie in silence. Your brother was acting like a child. Anytime Benny tried to make a joke about the movie to you, Ethan got in the way by constantly “assuming” he was talking to him. You understood that he was uncomfortable with the fact that you liked his best friend, but that didn’t mean he got to separate you and get in your way.
Getting up and stretching, you told the others you were going to go change into something more comfortable and went up to your room. Although that was true, you also needed a minute away from your brother to avoid losing your mind on him. You changed into sweatpants and were about to change your shirt when there was a knock on the door.
“Oh please, don’t stop on my account,” Benny smirked when you opened the door and saw you drop and smooth out your shirt. You rolled your eyes and let him in, closing the door behind him.
“I’m surprised Ethan let you up here.” You said, taking your shirt off to pull on a loose hoodie. Benny sat on your bed, staring at you.
“I told him I was going to the bathroom, so I bought myself a few minutes.” He hooked his finger in the waistband of your sweats and pulled you close so you were standing between his legs. You smiled down at him, hands resting on his shoulders.
“Let’s make them worth it then.” You murmured before leaning down to kiss Benny. He held you closer to him, arms wrapping around you.
What your friends didn’t know about you and Benny was that you had been secretly dating for a few weeks. It wasn’t that you were scared to tell your friends; you just didn’t feel the need to. Plus, you had a bit of a feeling Ethan would react weirdly. You two had confessed to each other at a party, and the rest was history.
“We should probably go back down.” You said as you pulled away. Benny groaned in disappointment.
“Just a couple more minutes.”
“I mean it, Benny. Ethan will get suspicious.”
“Fine.” He stood up, still holding you. “One more kiss before we go?” You leaned in, unable to say no to his puppy dog eyes.
“What the hell are you doing?!” Ethan shouted, and the two of you jumped apart, startled. He stared at you in horror.
“What?”
“You were kissing him, Y/n!” Deciding to play dumb, you looked around your room like Benny wasn’t there.
“Kissing who?”
“Don’t play dumb. How long has this been going on?”
You and Benny looked at each other, knowing there was no way to escape Ethan and his questions.
“Since your Halloween party….” Benny said, looking anywhere but at Ethan.
“What?!”
“What’s going on up here?” Erica appeared behind Ethan, scaring the crap out of all three of you. Sarah and Rory stood behind her, watching the scene.
“I just caught Y/n and Benny making out,” Ethan said. The three vampires stared at you and Benny in silence, trying to formulate a response.
“Y/n, I told you that you could do better!” Erica whined, pushing everyone away to go back downstairs.
“Hey!” Benny shouted in offense.
“How are you guys not freaking out?” Ethan asked, looking at Rory and Sarah. They shrugged.
“Who cares? It’s their lives.” Sarah answered, grabbing the back of Ethan’s collar to drag him down the stairs. Rory, you, and Benny trailed behind them. “Come on, let’s watch Dusk.”
“Can Y/n and I stay in his room?” Benny asked, wanting to get out of watching the franchise more than anything.
“No!” Sarah shouted at him. “We’re watching Dusk, and you’re gonna like it!”

The werewolf bf seems to be a current theme but I’m hopping on the bandwagon 😌
Benny Weir x werewolf male reader !!!
Reader is the energetic hockey player puppy bf that always needs to be touching Benny in someway. Ik vamps and wolves usually have a beef against each other but I’m a firm believer that Rory would be besties with reader, because Rory is just as much puppy as a vampire can be. I hope this interests you, if not than thanks for reading it anyway! :) <3
Oh I love me a good Benny Weir fic. Double love usurping the “werewolves and vampires hate each other” trope. Don’t know where that came from but we are moving on <3
Added this to my list :)

Benny Weir x Gn Reader
Tumblr media
REQUESTED: yes/no
Prompt: Imagine person A trying to braid person B’s hair—whether they succeed or fail miserably is up to you—but person B doesn’t mind either way, they just love the feeling of person A playing with their hair
Warnings: None, just fluffs
“Let me braid your hair.”
“What?” Benny questions as he sits up and turns towards you, your words catching him off guard.
“I’m Boooored, let me braid your hair.” Studying for… whatever class they were studying for had become extremely boring not long after we started. This leading you to get easily distracted, your focus now was shifted to the brown hair that sat atop his head.
“Ok? I still have to work on this though.” He gestures to the open book in front of him.
“Please, I promise not to distract you.” You say, knowing full well that it wasn’t the truth.
He rolls his eyes and gestures for you to come over. You scoot over and instantly put your hands in his hair. Though a little greasy, it is still as soft as it usually is. As you begin to braid, your hands move almost like they are moving on their own. You watch as Benny glances toward you and shifts in his spot.
“Hold still.” You tell him as you almost lose the braid your working one.
“Sorry…” He apologizes calmly.
Continuing the braid your working on you realize that it isn’t going well. Hairs are sticking up and out of place, the strands look nothing like a braid. You huff letting the braid fall and untangle itself. As you go to move away Benny questions,
“Why did you stop?” He is now staring at you with a confused look.
“I messed it up.” You pout, crossing your arms.
“That’s ok, just, continue please.”
You smile, moving your hands to entangle them in his hair again. Not wanting to fail again you run your hands through his hair, and softly massage his head. He sighs, setting the book aside and leaning against you.
“I thought you had to study?” You say as you smirk at him.
“Shut up idiot.”

It had been a complete accident. It wasn’t even entirely her fault either. If her youngest sisters would stop breaking everything they touched, she wouldn’t have gotten so mad. And if they hadn’t of made her mad, she wouldn’t have accidentally destroyed Papa Dave’s prized guitar. Of course when she broke it, there had been a collective gasp from her siblings, her grandparents, and herself. She had cried profusely and begged for forgiveness, even though she didn’t know how the guitar even broke from the other side of the room. Her mother and father had been called back from their date night early, and little Guinevere Reid thought her life was over at the age of ten.
Yet her life had continued. Her mother had calmed her down as best she could, assuring her that her grandfather wasn’t mad, and she’d be able to fix the guitar. Her mother asked her how she destroyed the guitar when she was on the other side of the room. Guinevere explained what had happened, getting upset again at her sisters’ disregard for her things. The lamp beside her bed had shattered then.
That was when Guinevere was told the most extraordinary thing she could have ever been told. Her mother told her about how magic was real and how she had been about Guinevere’s age when she discovered she too had magic. Her mother recounted tales of her adventures in an amazing school where Guinevere would most likely be attending. She couldn’t have been happier than she was in that moment.
It was on her eleventh birthday, nearly a year later, that Guinevere received the one thing she’d been wanting more than anything. Her mother had brought the letter in and handed it over to her. She’d squealed excitedly, almost tearing the envelope to get to the letter. She read it over carefully, making a mental note of everything she would need, lest her sisters found a way to destroy this too.
“How come she gets to have magic?” her younger sister, Natalia, whined. She sat at their kitchen table, her head resting on her arms. She bolted up, a look of fiery determination on her face. “I want magic too.”
“Me too!” chimed in the youngest of her siblings, Lily. Guinevere shook her head, grabbing the letter and rereading for what had to be the hundredth time in the past hour alone. Her mother placed a gentle but firm hand on her shoulder, turning to face her sisters and brothers.
“Gwen having magic, or any of you for that matter, was not something your father and I had been planning on,” she said calmly. Her mother was beautiful in every sense of the word. She had long, brown hair that she almost always kept up, the most vibrant blue eyes anyone had ever seen, and a kind smile. A kind smile that was only matched by her kind personality and her ability to know everything without anyone needing to tell her. “I can’t decide who does and doesn’t get magic. Truth be told, if I could, none of you would have magic.” Gwen frowned at this, turning to her dad.
She loved her mother dearly, but she was closer to her father, as were most of her siblings. She looked exactly like him too. She had his soft, light brown hair, honey brown eyes that were as vibrant as her mother’s, an upturned nose, albeit more round than his, and his smile. He offered her a slight shrug, signalling her to listen to what her mother had to say.
“With that being said, Gwen having magic doesn’t change anything. We still love her and will treat her with the kindness and respect she deserves. Understood?” Everyone nodded, going back to eating their slices of cake. Gwen clutched the letter excitedly. In September, she’d be on her way to learn how to properly use magic. The next months were going to be long for her.

"Además, no tenemos parientes estadounidenses".

“Is this seat taken?”
Guinevere glanced away from the window to see the boy she’d met at the robe shop in Diagon Alley standing at the compartment door. He stood against the door frame, his hands shoved into his pockets. His shoe scuffed the floor. He kept his head bent, eyes focused on his shoe. His face was hidden behind a curtain of wet, black hair.
“All yours,” she said. He took the seat across from her, gazing out the window. He sat as close to the window as possible, turning his body away from the door. He kept his hands folded in his lap, tucking them between his legs. His gaze was focused on the platform. His hair was slightly unkempt, still wet. He twiddled his thumbs, his foot slightly shaking.
“I was so worried I’d be late,” Gwen said. The boy glanced over to her, his hair still in his eyes. She smiled at him, crossing her ankles. “I share a room with two sisters. One isn’t too bad. She likes to keep to herself, but the other one refuses to sit still. She’s constantly moving around and making noise. I was also excited for today so that probably didn’t help either. I’m just glad I had everything packed the night before.” The boy nodded before looking back out the window.
Gwen didn’t say anything else. She wouldn’t force him to talk if he didn’t want to. His silence didn’t bother her. He hadn’t been real talkative at the robe shop either. Her mother had taken her there a couple of months before her first day. She didn’t go shopping with her mother often. Her mother was reserved when it came to things she deemed unnecessary. She didn’t mind too much though. Her Aunt Penelope spoiled her rotten.
Diagon Alley had been such a wonderful experience for Gwen. She felt as though she had already learned so much about the wizarding world from that trip alone. Her mother had taken her to Gringotts Bank where they rode through giant caves in a coal cart. It was just like being on a roller coaster. The goblins had stared at the pair curiously, her mother the most. Yet as soon as she presented her wand and key, they didn’t seem to pay much attention to them.
Her mother’s vault, which sat right across from a waterfall, had been filled with so many gold coins that Gwen had to do a double take. Her mother had taken a few pieces and put them into a small pouch, handing it to Gwen. She then took quite a handful of gold and put it into a slightly larger pouch, tucking that into her robes.
“Your pouch is for the train to Hogwarts,” her mother had said. “Nothing helps make friends faster than sweets.” Gwen nodded, tucking the pouch into the pocket of her overalls.
Their first stop after Gringotts Bank was Ollivander’s. Her mother had led her into the shop, pushing her gently inside. An old man with pale skin and shining grey eyes approached the front counter, pausing briefly as he made eye-contact with Gwen’s mother. His brows furrowed, head tilting ever-so-slightly to the side. Her mother in turn offered a small nod, a smile on her face.
His shop was covered wall to wall with shelves full of boxes and wands. Gwen pondered how he was able to keep track of everything, especially since it was cluttered. He flitted around the store, running his hands along the shelves and pulling out different boxes. He’d hand her one and each time she would give it a soft flick, watching as she slowly began to destroy the shop. He never made a fuss or made a face. He would simply replace the wand into the box and go off to find another.
Gwen turned to her mother, a frown tugging at her lips. Much like Mr. Ollivander, she stood silently with a smile on her face, not worried about the accidental chaos she was causing. After a few more tries, Mr. Ollivander found the right one.
“Eleven and a quarter inches long. Laurel wood with a dragon heartstring core,” he said, handing it to her. She took a deep breath, giving the wand a soft flick. Instead of destroying the poor shop yet again, a warm glow spread around her. She stared down at the wand in amazement. She looked back to her mother who had a big smile on her face. The warm glow began to die down, and Mr. Ollivander nodded his head approvingly. Gwen thanked him profusely and eagerly went to show off her wand to her mother.
Gwen smiled to herself at the memory, leaning her head against the cold train window. She glanced back over to the boy, recalling their first encounter.
Gwen loved nothing more than spending an entire day shopping with her Aunt Penelope. While her mother and father protested, Aunt Penelope had a clever way with words that always melted their resolve. Those were her special days with her aunt because her brothers didn’t care for shopping, and her sisters weren’t old enough to go, and her mother didn’t care much for it either.
Her mother had surprised her, however, when she came downstairs to help with the school shopping, since this was something her aunt couldn't do. Her mother had come downstairs dressed in long purple robes and a black pointed hat. Even her father had done a double take, blinking several times at his wife. Her mother had simply laughed, patting her father’s cheek affectionately before giving him a chaste kiss.
“You look-- wow. You look wow,” her father said. Her mother chuckled.
“My dearest husband-- light of my life-- your ability to wax poetry never ceases to amaze me,” she said. He shook his head, grabbing her and swinging her around to dip her. She laughed as he pressed a quick kiss to her cheek. “We will be gone for most of the day. I am sure you will be able to handle dinner.”
“How I ever survived before you will always amaze me,” he replied. She shook her head before holding out her hand for Gwen. They entered her office and immediately Gwen froze.
Gwen and her siblings weren’t allowed in their mother’s office. Their father was barely allowed in there either. Gwen and her siblings always wanted to know what was hidden behind the door, what secrets her mother kept tucked away in there, but it wasn’t anything magical like Gwen had hoped.
Her mother’s office was dimly lit, a single candle sat on her mother’s desk. The desk was a dark brown that matched the bookshelf along the left wall. Each shelf was stuffed to the brim with books and journals. Old, oil paintings hung on the right wall, depicting epic battles and forlorn lovers, ancient castles and boats at sea. The office walls were bare of windows or clocks, almost suspending the room in time.
Gwen’s attention was almost immediately drawn to a mirror that was tucked away in a corner. Most of it was covered with a long piece of cloth, but Gwen could make out the tarnished gold around the physical mirror. The gold was encrusted with different colored jewels. The jewels pulsed in the candlelight, calling her-- beckoning her towards it like a moth to a flame.
“I see you have found my mirror,” her mother said. Gwen nodded, moving closer to it. “It was a gift from a very old friend of mine.”
“Do I know them?” Gwen asked. Her mother shook her head.

August 19, 2018
Today was a beautiful day for a funeral. For such a miserable day, everything seemed brighter--happier. The grass was more verdant than it had been yesterday, the birds chirped a cheery tune as the casket was lowered into the grave. The yellow and white roses seemed to have captured the sunlight perfectly as they rested on the closed casket. The world was often described as being duller with the loss of a loved one, but this was far from the truth. While we wallowed in self-pity and grief, the world around us does not seem to share our loss. It glows as if nothing happened, mocking our sorrow with its bright and joyous life.
Our young protagonist, Argentina Castillo, had seen death only once before. She was nine years old when she lost her mother. After battling cancer, and the physical strain of giving birth to her youngest brother, it was only a couple months before death took her mother. Her little brother had never really known his mother, and her younger sister barely remembered her. They did, however, remember their grandfather. After the passing of their mother, their grandfather had taken in his five grandchildren. Argentina, her two older siblings, and her two younger siblings. He had helped them with her passing, even though his own heart broke having to bury his child.
For eight years, they were their own happy, little family. Eight years, which had seemed like such a long time, had been turned into a fleeting moment. Argentina watched as they lowered her grandfather into the grave, right next to her mother’s, remembering times of laughter and unbridled joy. As she watched the casket disappear from view, it felt like those memories would be buried with him.
“The Castillo children?” a man asked. Argentina’s older brother, Joaquin, turned to the stranger who stood awkwardly near the children. The stranger was short and skinny. His eyes seemed to pop out of his oddly shaped head. He wore a long, grey coat that seemed too heavy for his scrawny body. His hand was wrapped tightly around the handle of a black, leather suitcase.
“Who’s asking?” Joaquin inquired. He moved to stand in front of his two youngest siblings. Joaquin easily towered over the stranger, his arms crossed over his chest. He had giant muscles that strained against the restraining fabric of his black dress shirt. His narrowed gaze seemed to see straight through the short man. Even though he hadn’t shed a single tear during the entire ceremony, his eyes were bloodshot and tired. This whole situation had aged him well past twenty-three.
“My name is Carnie Wilson,” the man said, shifting from foot to foot as he nervously glanced up at the giant Joaquin. “I’m from New York, in America. Let me first offer my condolences for your loss.” His other hand fidgeted at his side, shaking slightly. “I have come on behalf of your last living relative.”
“We just buried our last living relative.” Argentina’s older sister, Xiomara, had stepped beside Joaquin, her hands wrapped around herself. She was wearing one of their mother’s old dresses. Her hair was lazily pulled away from her face, tears staining her cheeks. “Besides, we don’t have any American relatives.”
“I’m sorry ma’am, but that isn’t true. You are, in fact, related to one Mr. Beckett. He’s your--uncle,” Mr. Wilson told them. The Castillo children looked at each other confused.
“Our mother doesn’t have a brother. She was an only child,” Xiomara said.
“Yes, that’s correct,” Mr. Wilson said. His eyes darted between Joaquin and Xiomara, briefly falling onto the other three Castillo children. “However, your father had a brother.” There was a moment of shocked silence as Mr. Wilson’s words sunk in. He offered them a tight-lipped smile. “I know this is a lot to take in. Perhaps there’s some place where we can talk privately?” Joaquin nodded.
It was some time before the Castillo children and Mr. Wilson were able to return to the Castillo residence. Their entire small town in Guatemala had come to the funeral. Their grandfather had been loved by so many others. Each person told a different story about how helpful and thoughtful their grandfather had been. Each story pulled at Argentina’s heart, filling her with sorrow and visibly upsetting her sensitive, little sister, Esmeralda.
“Now that we’re somewhere private, do you have any questions?” Mr. Wilson asked, sipping the tea Xiomara had served him.
“I have a few. First off, how did you find us?” Joaquin asked, his arms folded over his chest as he sat back in his chair. “As far as we know, our father died shortly after our mother returned from America. He didn’t know we existed, so how did you know where to find us?”
“Why don’t you two go play,” Xiomara suggested to Esmeralda and their youngest sibling, Rafael. While Argentina knew that Esmeralda no longer “played”, Esmeralda understood the true intentions behind her oldest sister’s words. She grabbed onto Rafael’s hand and led him into the living room. Joaquin didn’t take his eyes away from Mr. Wilson, watching as he took another nervous sip of the tea, his eyes wandering around the tiny kitchen.
“Yes, it’s a rather unique set of circumstances,” Mr. Wilson began. “Your--uncle received a letter upon the request of Mr. Mateo Castillo’s will. It gave a detailed account on who you were and that you’d need a guardian to look after you. We simply followed the sender’s address to find you.”
“I can look after my own family,” Joaquin said, an edge to his voice. Xiomara put a hand on his shoulder. “Besides, our grandfather would have told us if he knew our uncle. The Castillo’s don’t keep secrets.” Mr. Wilson watched Joaquin carefully, a glint in those nervous eyes that didn’t quite sit right with Argentina.
“I’m sure your grandfather had his reasons for not saying anything. Unfortunately, I don’t know, for sure, those reasons, but if I were to guess, I would assume it was the same reason your mother didn’t tell your father about you,” Mr. Wilson said. He glanced down at the cup, his spine straightening, though it didn’t make him any more imposing than a blade of grass. “While you and Ms. Xiomara Castillo are both of legal age to take care of yourselves, Ms. Argentina Castillo, Ms. Esmeralda Castillo, and Mr. Rafael Castillo are still minors and henceforth will be transferred to the custody of their uncle. You could sue for custody, but as Mr. Beckett’s attorney, I would advise against it. He has quite a sum of money.”
Joaquin clenched his jaw, his gaze narrowing on the small, fragile frame of Mr. Wilson. Argentina was perfectly okay with watching her brother tear him into pieces. It certainly wouldn’t take him long to do so. Xiomara squeezed his shoulder, her eyes on Mr. Wilson.
“Are Joaquin and I allowed to join our siblings in America?” she inquired. Mr. Wilson straightened his spine, sparing a fleeting glance towards Joaquin and Argentina.
“As per the request of the late Mr. Mateo Castillo, Mr. Beckett has extended an invitation to you both,” Mr. Wilson said. He set his briefcase, which had been sitting in his lap, onto the table. He opened it up and produced five tickets. “You are scheduled to leave at the end of the week. Pack as much as you can, and Mr. Beckett will send someone for the rest of your things.” He set the tickets on the table before snapping his briefcase shut. He pulled at his coat, standing up from the table. He nodded his head once before leaving the house.
Xiomara wrapped her arms around herself, leaning against the kitchen counter. Joaquin let himself relax as well, leaning forward to run a tired hand through his dark locks. Xiomara took a seat between him and Argentina. Argentina was staring at the plane tickets on the table, rage filling her heart the longer she stared.
“Think of it this way,” Xiomara said. “At least we’ll be together. That’s what’s most important. The Castillo’s stick together, no matter what.” She had a tendency to look at the bright side of things. Argentina knew that no matter what darkness was thrown their way, she could trust Xiomara to be there as a beacon of light. She pulled Joaquin and Argentina into a little group hug. “We’ll get through this. I promise.”

~Ocean Eyes~ (Benny Weir x Reader) Part 9
Tumblr media
Series Masterlist  //  Official Masterlist
Summary: Now that you’ve recovered, you and Rory are finally able to go on a date! The destination you choose is the movies, and you’re pretty excited. But because of this, Benny is overwhelmed by jealousy, and has to be pulled into line by his best friend who makes him realize how much of a jerk he’s been to his friend Rory lately.
~
(Just some extra info that I couldn’t fit into the story, it’s been a week since the Price incident and Evelyn isn’t home currently. Enjoy!)
God, you were so beautiful. Your hair had been done up and decorated in a few clear, sparkly hair clips. Your make up matched your clips, consisting of clear, sparkly lip gloss, and glittery eye shadow and blush. And your dress...
Tumblr media
(This is your dress, my dear)
This was all courtesy of the talented ladies Sarah and Erica, and the second you stepped out of your room, Benny had his breath taken away and he was left absolutely speechless. Due to this reaction, you thought that maybe you didn’t look right, and you looked down shyly at your dress.
“I-is it too much?” You asked, Benny shaking himself out of his momentary daze as he shook his head and smiled. “No, you’re...” He looked you up and down once more, “...you’re beautiful.” Your face flushed red as you smiled sheepishly, looking down once again.
Benny was jealous. More jealous than anyone who’s ever been jealous in the whole wide world. He wanted to be the one to take you out while you looked that extravagant, but unfortunately that spot was already reserved by Rory for the night. Over the time they had saved you, Benny and Rory had fixed things as friends again. But now, Benny was just about ready to rip the blonde’s head right off and start fighting all over again. You were quite a powerful force, he knew that much. Not even Della, the mega babe from school, could make him go to the lengths he’d go to for you.
“Gosh they grow up so fast...” Sarah said sweetly as she and Erica came out from cleaning up the make up, “You’re so pretty (Y/n).” “You really think so?” You asked in a soft voice, the two vampire girls looking at each other before nodding. “Rory better watch it, you’re gonna have men gawking at you all night.” Erica said with a small chuckle.
And that statement was enough to make Benny’s blood boil. Not only was Rory competition, but now the entire male population of WhiteChapel was too.
“(Y/n), are you sure you wanna go on a date with Rory?” Benny asked as he stepped up to you, “You know he’s an idiot...right?” “God Benny, it’s only a date. It’s not like we’re getting married,” You sighed as you poked his cheek, “don’t stress, love.” Benny sighed as he dusted off your shoulders. “Alright, but make sure you’re back by 10. And don’t let him kiss you, he’s probably got rabies or something.” You rolled your eyes as you smiled up at the boy. “Yes mom,” You sighed, Benny chuckling softly at the joke before Sarah and Erica approached you from behind with a hand each on your shoulders.
“Time for your date, (Y/n). Don’t keep Rory waiting.”
~
“Wow, (Y/n). You look...amazing.”
Your dress glimmered against the streetlights, as did your beautifully done make up. You and Rory stood outside the cinema, about to go see one of the films they were playing. He was awestruck by your looks, so much so that he almost forgot how to function. He didn’t hear you quietly thank him before you looked toward the theater.
“So, what movie are we seeing?” You asked sweetly, the boy snapping out of his daze as he looked back toward your eyes. He blushed as he scratched behind his neck sheepishly. “I-I probably should’ve asked you first...b-but I bought us tickets to see this new horror movie...i-I mean if you don’t wanna watch a horror we can just-” “You must’ve read my mind Rory! That was what I was hoping you’d end up picking,” You gushed, the boy feeling his face heat up further as he smiled like a dork. “W-well, we better head in then, and get snacks before the movie starts,” He said in a shaky voice, yourself nodding and giggling as you wrapped your arm around his and held it tight. Rory stiffened up at this at first as his face went completely beet red. But soon enough, he relaxed and simply smiled even deeper as the two of you began heading into the theater with the other people that had you surrounded.
~
“Did you see that dude! She touched him! He’s probably using his vampire hypnotizing powers on her!” “Or maybe she’s being extra friendly because they’re on a date.”
Behind a set of bushes just outside the theater was Benny and Ethan, Benny spying on you and Rory with a pair of binoculars while Ethan was there to try and make sure his best friend doesn’t do anything stupid. But of course, Benny doing something stupid would always be inevitable, especially for a girl.
“I seriously think Rory must’ve done something to (Y/n) to make her even consider saying yes to a date with him,” Benny said as he continued to stare at the two of you through his binoculars, “I looked all through grandma’s vampire books but I didn’t find anything.” “Dude, can’t we just leave them alone? It’s just one date, and besides,” Ethan looked around cautiously, “If Sarah catches us spying on them, she’ll kill us. And unlike you, I very much value my life.”  “I don’t trust Rory with (Y/n), not one bit. What if he’s trying to eat her? They don’t call them pure bloods for no reason,” Benny asked. “I think you’re just jealous,” Ethan said, his friend’s head snapping up as soon as the word ‘jealous’ fell from his mouth. Benny stared at him for a moment with squinting, offended eyes, a questioning look upon his face. “Jealous?” He asked, Ethan nodding, “You think I’m jealous?” “I mean, if stalking a girl on a date with another guy creepily from behind a bush doesn’t scream jealous then I don’t know what does,” Ethan explained, shoving his hands into his jean pockets, “and besides, you have perhaps the most obvious crush on (Y/n) ever.” “I do not!” Benny screeched, Ethan tilting his head as he gave him the raised brow ‘oh really?’ look.  After a second, Benny sighed and rolled his eyes as he accepted it. “Ok fine, maybe there’s some romantic feelings in there for her.” “Some?? Dude! You’re still wearing her hoodie!”  “It’s comfortable!” Benny defended as he clutched the sleeves of your hoodie. “And you might as well holding a big fat sign in neon lights that says ‘I have a huge crush on (Y/n)’!” Ethan unintentionally shouted. “Ok, first of all, shut up, this is supposed to be a stealth mission,” Benny began, Ethan rolling his eyes before his friend continued, “Second of all, you’ve gotta understand my point of view on the situation.” “God, here we go again...” Ethan sighed as he spun around and crossed his arms. “I am seriously concerned that if this date goes smoothly, (Y/n) might as well be kissing her everlasting life goodbye and then diving head first into concrete.” “Do you hear yourself? You’re making Rory out to be this shitty guy Benny!” Ethan spun back around to face his friend, “He’s our friend, and even if he’s an idiot, we always look out for our friends. He saved your life just last week! Can’t you just be happy for him?” “Maybe I just think (Y/n) deserves better than him,” Benny growled as if he was trying to suppress his anger as he stepped toward Ethan in a sort of stubborn way. “Then why aren’t you the one taking her to see a movie tonight??”
Benny wanted to say something to that, but he found that he really couldn’t, considering that was indeed a very good question. Why wasn’t he the one taking you to see a movie that night? He wasn’t even sure himself, and it was evident as his face morphed into a softer and more perplexed look.
“But...I was the first one to even take her on a date...I took her to the ice cream parlor...” “Dude, you gotta be consistent. You can’t just take a girl on one good date and then expect her to be securely yours because if she’s anything like (Y/n), then she’s gonna have all sorts of guys trying to impress her and steal her heart. You have to work for her, you have to wow her, you have to earn her. And doing stuff like this is literally the equivalent to using cheat codes on Knights of Ninjustu 4, and we both know that you’d never do that,” Ethan placed a hand on his best friend’s shoulder before continuing, “Do something for her everyday, get her something nice, compliment her, treat her like a princess. And I can guarantee you, you’ll be the one she wants at the end of the day.”
The green-eyed brunette stared at his best friend for a moment, taking a little time process his little speech. And once he had, he chuckled softly and, too, placed a hand on Ethan’s shoulder.
“How do you not have a girlfriend yet?” He asked, Ethan shrugging as he too laughed a little and they began subconsciously walking away from the cinema side by side. “Because I go for girls that are way outta my league,” He responded, Benny smirking as he nudged him with his elbow. “C’mon dude, Sarah’s not that far outta your league.” “Just shut up and walk to the pizza place in town with me, I need some pepperoni in my system.”
And with that, the two geek best friends made their way to the main street of town, where they ordered a pizza and chowed down with their nerd talk. Benny realized how lost he would be if he didn’t have Ethan to pull him into line, and for that he was grateful.
~
After the two of you had gotten snacks and had a little bit of small talk while you waited for your assigned cinema to be available, you and Rory were finally seated, and more than excited to watch this new movie. This gave you a moment to think about the current situation you had fallen into.
Rory was an absolute sweetheart. He was a fun, energetic guy and you really did appreciate him. It’s just...you already had something for Benny. Romantic or not, it was still something. Every time you had cried recently, he was the one to comfort you, hold you, and he did it no questions asked. Not to mention the fact that he kissed you to save your life. You knew that Rory would’ve done the same thing, but...you didn’t even know how to finish that sentence, you just...felt different around Benny. This whole mess was something you were yet to understand, but understand it you would...eventually.
~
After they ordered their pizza and bought some soda, the two geek boys took a short stroll and eventually found themselves at the local park, sitting across from each other on one of the platforms of the playground equipment, their half eaten and soda in between the two of them as Benny’s phone blared some pop punk music, neck deep and Paramore and all of that quality pop punk the two boys enjoyed. They did this even though it was dark and cold, they simply needed to get out for a bit, considering they never really did due to the amount of video games they’d play on a daily basis. It was nice though, just to take a moment to get away from everyone and everything and spend a bit of one on one bro time with each other as best friends.
Benny really needed this if he was honest. He was so lost in his own emotions that he’d pretty much lost sight of his entire life. If it wasn’t for Ethan, he’d probably be in even deeper and worse than he already was. He felt more than guilty for the way he’d been treating Rory over the past few weeks, like he was competition over a friend. I mean, yes, in a sense, he was competition. But he was a friend first, and Benny had been a real jerk to him over something as childish as crushing on the same girl as he was.
But on the other hand...
Ethan wasn’t wrong when he pointed out that Benny had perhaps the most obvious crush on you ever. I mean, it was kind of a crush...he wasn’t even sure of it himself considering he hadn’t even known you for too long. But one thing he did know was that he wanted to protect you at all costs, and be closed to you and hold you and...
“What’ya thinkin’ about dude?”
Benny was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the voice of his best friend from in front of him, his green eyes meeting the likes of brown eyes.
“Hm?” He hummed, not quite understanding what he was getting at. “It’s just...you’re really quiet, and you seem...lost, really lost,” Ethan leaned forward slightly, so that his elbows rested on his outstretched legs, “what’s going on in that crazy mind of yours, Weir?” Benny stared at him for a moment, trying to think of a way to put how he was feeling. He most certainly wasn’t even sure of what was happening in his mind himself, even though he had direct access to it.
Benny leaned his head back so he was looking up slightly, letting it rest against the grubby jungle gym railings as he searched for an answer.
“Chaos, absolute chaos,” That was the best way he could describe it, “I’m such a piece of shit for treating Rory the way I did.” “You’re not a piece of shit Benny, you’re just...” Ethan paused to try and find the correct terminology, “...new to the concept of actually having a chance with a girl, but another guy also having a chance with a girl, and since that guy is one of your close friends, you actually have to be conscious of what you do so you don’t screw up the friendship.” “Ugh! This is all too hard...maybe I should just give up, at least Rory isn’t a jerk.”  “B, please don’t think like that, especially when you and (Y/n) are already so close. Do you not see the way her behavior visibly changes when you’re around?” Ethan asked, Benny rolling his eyes as he looked toward his friend. “Yeah? How?” “Well, for one, she gets a lot less shy. She becomes more bubbly, more energetic, she talks in a slightly higher tone. She starts fidgeting with her belongings, and seems to smile even bigger, if that’s even possible. But the thing that seals the deal for me...” Ethan had stopped counting on his finger, but instead let them rest in his lap, “...it’s one simple and easy to miss detail. Whenever she sees you, the ocean in her eyes changes slightly.”
Benny became intrigued at this statement, and it was evident as his eyes softened slightly.
And this well needed talk was what drove the idea of quitting out of Benny’s mind.
~
“Jeez Louis, the directors really didn’t hold back, did they?”
“You can say that again...that was intense.”
The movie had finished, and you and Rory had just left the theater. The night breeze was cold, not that you really minded, cold weather was always lovely. Rory had offered to walk you home, to which you accepted, even though you were more than capable of walking home safely by yourself. His company was nice, and you weren’t about to turn it down.
With a reasonable amount of his goofy jokes and decent small talk, you had arrived at your home, or rather, the Weir household. You bid your goodbyes before he left and you entered the house.
Sighing loudly out of exhaustion, you slipped your shoes off and dropped your purse by the door before you headed through to the kitchen where you met Benny who was packing a half eaten pizza into the fridge accompanied by Ethan who was leaned against the kitchen counter.
“Hey,” you greeted simply with your sweet smile, the two boys turning to you when they heard you. “Hey, how was it?” Ethan asked, cutting to straight chase. “It was fun. I found out that Rory doesn’t take jump-scares too well, but it was fun. It wasn’t at all romantic, which is weird considering Rory had been extra flirty toward me to hype himself up for the date after he asked me, but y’know, I think I enjoyed it better that way.” You explained, sighing as you leaned against the counter next to Ethan.
Benny didn’t want to admit it, but he felt his heart jolt slightly when you said that, and he was relieved that that was the turn of events of the date. He really did have a decent chance after all.
“Well, I’m glad you had fun,” He said as he shut the fridge and turned to look at you, only to see that you looked rather tired with your half lidded eyes and droopy stance, “but you look super tired (Y/n).” “I am,” You opened your arms with a goofy smile, “You’d be willing to carry a tired lady to her bed, wouldn’t you?” Benny couldn’t help a chuckle as he moved from the fridge over to you. “Of course, what kind of gentleman would I be if I couldn’t?” He said as he scooped you up into his arms bridal style, Ethan chuckling sweetly at the situation while you giggled and wrapped your arms around Benny’s neck. “Excuse us for one moment,” Benny joked to Ethan before heading toward your room, you securely in his arms.
Of course, it didn’t take very long to arrive to your room, and once you did, Benny gently set you down on your bed, yourself simply taking the time to stare into his eyes for a good long moment, goofy smile still present. He noticed almost immediately, and couldn’t help a quiet chuckle as he sat on your bed beside you and stared back.
“Why’re you looking at me like that?” He asked, yourself giggling as you reached up and booped his nose gently. “Because you’re so pretty,” You replied, the boy giving her a slightly puzzled yet humored look. “Interesting terminology, but thank you,” He responded in a soft voice as he poked your forehead gently, “you’re pretty too.”
The two of you stared at each other for a moment more, with sweet smiles and a sweet atmosphere. You just couldn’t describe how you felt in that moment, like...you were so calm, yet so absolutely giddy on the inside. That was why you sat up, slowly, and wrapped your arms around Benny’s middle, pressing your face into his shoulder. He was slightly taken a back, and he felt his tummy twist slightly, but he also seemed to immediately react, and within seconds had his arms around you too. The two of you stayed like that for a while, enjoying each other’s warmth, scent, feeling...it was an indescribable emotion you both shared in that simple yet tender moment.
You felt so safe in his arms, and they were where you wanted to stay for as long as you could.
~
A/n: So, I really wanted to do some character development in this chapter. Like, make Benny realize that he was being an out of character jerk and show Ethan’s adorable soft side and how much he cares about his bestie and how he brings it upon himself to pull him into line, since I don’t see a lot of their close moments in other fan fics. Anyways,
I’d really appreciate it if ya’ll went and checked out my character list and made requests based off of the characters given, bc I’m heccing bored and I need writing motives. Please and thank you!!

Secret's Out (Benny Weir X Male!Morgan!Reader)
Masterlist
Request Something!
Summary: You’ve been secretly dating your brother’s best friend Benny for a few months, keeping it private because neither of you are out yet. Bidding each other good night during a sleepover with the gang changes that.
A/N: this feels so rushed im sorry
***
Pretending that you weren’t dating someone you spent practically all your time with sucked. Unless you were in a totally private place, you overthought every interaction you had with your boyfriend.
It also didn’t help that your boyfriend was best friends with your brother, who could be known to be overdramatic and didn’t know that either of you even liked guys.
“Y/n, it’s gonna be fine.” Benny tried reassuring you while the two of you played a video game. “We’ve hung out with the gang loads of times, and we’ve never given anything away.”
“But this is different, Bens. This is our first group sleepover since we started dating.” You killed one of the NPCs attacking you before pausing the game to take a sip of water. “And I know how cranky you get when I don’t give you head scratches to fall asleep.”
Benny scoffed, and without looking at the screen, you knew he was rolling his eyes even though you both knew it was true.
“I do not get cranky.”
“Sure you don’t.”
Some silence passed, and Benny sensed you overthinking about what’s supposed to be a fun hangout with your friends.
“It’s gonna be fine, N/n.”
“I dunno, I’m pretty irresistible. You might have a hard time containing yourself.” Benny snorted while you unpaused the game. “After we fight the boss, I gotta go. I’m helping Ethan set everything up for tonight.”
“Oh! Can you get me-”
“Marshmallows? Yeah.” Benny paused the game, staring into his webcam to make it feel like he was looking directly at you.
“How did you know?”
“You ask for them every time you sleep over because you keep trying to beat your own record. Now come on, let’s play before I have to log off.”
“God, you know me so well.”
***
The whole night, you and Benny tried to keep a bit of a distance from each other. Not enough for your friends or brother to wonder if something had happened between the two of you, but enough to make sure you weren’t tempted to do something that could out either of you. It sounded like an easy task, but sometimes, it was hard to keep your hands off Benny.
Feeling brave, you and Benny held hands underneath a blanket while sitting on the couch watching a scary movie. If it was just the two of you, he’d argue that he was holding your hand to comfort you through the movie. But you knew from the flinches and hand squeezes during gruesome moments or jumpscares that it was because Benny was a little scaredy cat.
As the credits rolled, you yawned. The movie hadn’t affected you; if anything, it just made you tired. Benny, on the other hand, was trying to hide behind you.
“Benny, it’s just a movie. It’s not real.” Ethan said while munching on some leftover popcorn.
“You don’t know that, E,” Benny said, looking at your brother from over your shoulder. “It could be based on a true story.”
“Oh yeah. I remember the story of the werewolf that ravaged an entire town in one night.” Erica said, seeming serious. “I think that happened a few cities over from here.”
“What?” Benny replied with a squeak, eyes widening.
“Guys, stop scaring him!” You reprimanded with a small smile. “I’m beat; I’m gonna go to bed. Night.” You twisted around to look at Benny. “Good night, scaredy cat.”
“I’m not scared,” Benny grumbled before giving you a quick peck on the lips. “I’ll probably go to sleep in a bit.”
You nodded, getting up and going to the pile of blankets and pillows in the parlor. Too tired, you just laid yourself in the middle of the comfortable pile and closed your eyes.
Then your eyes suddenly widened, replaying what had just happened in your head. You scrambled to your feet and slowly walked back into the living room, where everyone’s gaze was flitting between you and Benny. Your boyfriend looked around the room, confused by all the eyes.
“What?”
“You just kissed my brother, B,” Ethan answered, looking beyond confused. Benny’s eyes widened, as if he had just realized what he had done.
“What are you, gay?” Rory asked. His tone was slightly off, making everyone look at him. He flinched from the sudden attention. “What? I’m genuinely asking!”
“Y/n. Benny.” Ethan said carefully, unsure of how to approach this situation. “Anything you wanna tell us?”
You and Benny looked at each other, having a silent conversation. You figured that you might as well tell them now, because Benny trying to say that he kissed his best friend’s brother just for the hell of it probably wouldn’t be believable. Benny nodded, allowing you to take the wheel.
“Benny and I have been dating for a few months.” You finally said, trying to sound casual. You didn’t know how your friends would react to you two liking guys, let alone that you were dating each other. So you hoped that acting like it wasn’t a big deal would make them react as if it wasn’t.
“What?!” Ethan squeaked. “A few months? Why didn’t you tell us?”
“Neither of us are out, and we had no idea how you guys would react!” You said, scratching the back of your neck. “Plus, I knew either way that you’d freak out.”
“I’m not freaking out,” Ethan said with a freaked-out look. He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “I’m happy for you guys, I promise. But Benny, out of everyone, you decided to date my brother?”
“Look at him!” Benny replied, pointing at you. “I can’t say no to that face, E!”
“We’re happy for you two,” Sarah said to you and Benny with a smile. She looked at Erica and Rory, who kept looking at the two of you. “Right, guys?”
“Yeah, man, totally!” Rory said with a fangy smile. Erica took a moment to say something.
“Y/n could do better.” She shrugged, making you snort and Benny pout.

I was wondering if you could do a Ethan Morgan x Male Reader the reader uses he/it pronouns.
So basically everyone in the friend group know the reader likes Ethan besides Rory because he's a little slow, anyways Y/N finally confesses to Ethan, and Ethan can either reject or accept Y/N. I also feel like Y/N would be jealous of Sarah because his crush(Ethan) likes her and wants to be more like her.
This can be fluff/angst or full on fluff, is that alright?
Tumblr media
Warnings: blood, gore, kidnapping, hospitals.
A/n thank you so much for your request! I’m so sorry it’s taken so long! I was a bit nervous to write the he/it pronouns and I’ve been lacking a lot of motivation! But This is my first mbsav fic! Apologies if any character seem ooc! I decided to add to your request a bit so it was easier for me to write! But I hope you enjoy it all the same! <3
Ethan Morgan was a loveable guy, he was cautious, nerdy, kind, loyal, he cared about his friends with his whole heart.
Sarah fox was one of those friends- a friend he was head over heels for, or so he thought.
Ethan was an amazing person, who’d take a bullet for the ones he loved. So you weren’t sure why Sarah never looked at him the same way, but despite her dejectiveness around Ethan’s proposals he was determined to win her affections.
But everytime he did, something happened, weather it be benny an unfortunate circumstance, or whatever magical creature they had pissed off become a cockblock for Ethan’s advances, or just Sarah’s blatant avoidance of him.
You and Benny could both tell it was taking a hold of him, he questioned if it was him that Sarah didn’t like. As if it was his fault for the fact that Sarah never loved him more then a friend or a brother.
It wasn’t his fault she never loved him, she couldn’t, not when she saw the subtle looks you’d shoot his way, or the sad going in your eye everytime Ethan had tried to ask her out.
Ethan often thought he was doing something wrong, at the guys nights you, Benny and Ethan had ever friday where you’d talk about your favourite tv shows, whatever magic Benny had learnt, video games, and crushes. One surefire conversational topic was Ethan and Sarah’s non existent relationship.
Every Friday you had to work up the courage to go, sit, and listen to Ethan rave on about how amazing Sarah was. It was like he was blind to your jealousy.
Anyone could see you sitting in your pjs in silence watching Ethan through glassy eyes as he talks about her.
Her.
That was the difference between you and Sarah, she was a girl, a wonderful amazing girl, who was brave, and strong. And who protected everyone whenever she could. She was a valiant friend, and a loyal companion.
Sarah fox was a smart girl, she was not oblivious to your affections for Ethan, anyone could see you were head over heels, for the boy. You’d have to be blind, deaf, and stupid to miss it! Well blind, deaf, or Rory keaner. That is.
One particular boys night Ethan had continued to rave on, and on about Sarah. Coming up with bizarre interactions and ways to ask her out, it was like it all became too much, you had to deal with this at school, at home, it was like everywhere you look Sarah had plagued it. It was like she was haunting you, she was all you could’ve ever been, it was like you needed to be Sarah for Ethan to notice you.
So you snapped.
Standing up from his carpeted floor, and telling him
“God she’s never going to date you Ethan! she’s told you a thousand times how you aren’t her type!” Your voice raising in Octave with each word. Arms flailing wildly.
it became all too much, seeing Ethan’s hurt expression, he had look as if you just stabbed him in the back with a burning hot rod and twisted. And then left him with the aftermath it hurt because even then he couldn’t see you.
He only paid attention to Sarah.
Ethan had felt betrayed, he had trusted his two best friends to help him bag his crush, and yet one of them was telling him how pathetic his crush on Sarah was, and how she’d never love him. He didn’t hide his expression of betrayal, subtle anger burning bright in his eyes.
Before he could respond, you had already dashed out of his room, and down the stairs clumsily slipping your shoes on. moving past a shocked and concerned Sarah And making a wild dash out the door and towards your street, Sarah After hearing the commotion upstairs had felt concerned that You boys had maybe summoned another magical creature, that happens usually twice a week…
Only for her to enter their room and find Benny lecturing Ethan over how all he seems to talk about nowadays is Sarah. And how unfair it was to his other friends.
Ethan just felt confusion after bennys lecture, because none of his friends had told him why it had affected y/n as much as it had.
It usually encouraged Ethan to talk to him about his crush.
“But Benny why is y/n so upset?? It’s just Sarah, it’s what we usually talk about!” He exclaimed an exhasporated chuckle escaping his chest
Sarah’s figure emerging from the door, an unreadable expression on her face, perhaps one of slight disappointment.
“Ethan you may be a seer but you really can’t see what’s right in front of you…” sarah spoke, a bitter chuckle falling from her lips.
Ethan could see Benny cringing from the corner of the room, as he clapped his hands
“Sooo let’s get back to video games! Yes?” Benny exclaimed, trying to swallow the air of tension that lingered. A bad feeling settling in his chest.
Of course Benny was concerned about its wareabouts having assumed he had just jogged home, to de-stress and calm down from having to deal with Ethan’s obliviousness.
Around midnight of the sleepover, a mop of blonde hair had appeared in Ethan’s bedroom window knocking twice.
“Hi guys!” Rory exclaimed excitedly his fangs peaking out by his lips, giving him a snagged tooth.
“Had you guys seen y/n? it’s parents told me he wasn’t home! So where is he? It wanted to talk to me about something!” The blonde teen asked looking around expectantly, a goofy smile gracing his face, Ethan wasn’t paying much attention to the teen until he had mentioned y/n hadn’t been home.
And it dawned on the friends that they let their best friend wander home alone in the dark, unattended, and distraught and had yet to check up on him. Because ‘it’ll be fine’
It was all a blur to Ethan, Benny remembered seeing Ethan stand up faster then he’s ever seen his friend do before, if you blinked you could have missed it.
as soon as Rory had mentioned he hadn’t made it home. A panic settling into Ethan’s chest, Ethans booming voice commanded the room, barking out orders to his friends. He had a bad feeling.
Benny was up with haste grabbing his spell book and his satchel bag, bringing up Sarah’s number on his cell.
Sarah had wanted the rest of her night to go quietly only for her to be called be back to Ethan’s. Bennys frantic voice had called her in grainy waves pleading her to get erica and meet them at the school. Speeding off to gather Erica, something stirred in her that felt uneasy she had been being watched by something in the shadows.
All began to make their way to the painfully quiet highschool, the ambiance of a school at midnight had set the vibe for a bad night, the creep factor set a chill in the hearts of the group.
The doors to the school opened as is beckoning them in.
Benny coming up with a sarcastic quip about how cliche it was to fight in their school at midnight something they had found themselves doing frequently.
All were on edge at the time, they had no clue what they were going to encounter, the open door was the first red flag.
When light laughter filled the corridor, fear flourished in their hearts.
“Jesse” Sarah barked out, anger apparent in her tone. She knew who was watching her from the shadows now-who was watching y/n- “Hand over y/n” she spoke a deadly malice echoing from her lips
Jesses condescending look of pity over took his pale face “y/n oh well he really was a fun to torture. He refused to give up any information, I usually don’t like harming my food but oh he has a way to annoy you doesn’t it!” Jesse exclaimed disappointment and annoyance was apparent with him
the gym the group had spent so much of their waking hours in at school didn’t feel like the usual sweaty volleyball court. the dust coated rubber floor smell filled their nostrils. A metallic taste in the air, as if on cue Sarah, and Erica had hissed, fangs jumping out, at the smell of blood. -y/ns blood-
“What have you done to him Jesse” Erica barked prepared to tear him to shreads if he toyed with them any longer.
“Fine” he sighed, dragging the ‘e’ out, distaste on his tongue.
A few other vamps filled the room, carrying a bloodied figure of y/n.
On the edge of passing out, their s/c feet dragged across the floor, arms wrapped around the necks of two vamps weakly.
“Guess I wasn’t strong enough to fight em off” he rasped out, teeth coated with blood, dried and fresh cuts littered its skin. “Sorry eef” he sighed head tolling around weakly, a bloodied smile painted its features.
Ethan’s blood boiled. Sarah could’ve almost cried she never thought the kind kid she had befriended would’ve been in such terrible shape because of her (albeit indirectly but the guilt swarmed in her heart. And the hearts of all of the friends)
Rory had wished he wasn’t so slow, and he wished he truely realised how dire this situation was, erica wished she didn’t take so long to help her friends, Sarah wished she had stopped y/n from running out that door.
Ethan had wished he had grabbed its wrist mid outburst and held him close to his chest, Benny wished he went after them, or even called instead of brushing it off.
Y/ns blue pj shirt had began to darken with its blood.
“I must say they got a few good hits in” Jesse muttered caressing a cutt on his cheek. “Yknow we were thinking we might just turn him, but then we realised why turn him and just dump his body. When we could do it INFRONT of the ones it loves.” Jesse smile stretching so wide Ethan could have sworn his cheeks may split with his bitter smile.
“Don’t you dare!” Exclaimed Benny his voice echoing, as his eyes lit up muttering a spell in Latin and shooting it at a few vamps in the room, his hand outstretched a deadly look in his eye this was a new side to his best friend Ethan had never seen before.
“ you’ve gotten stronger young warlock” Jesse tuttted “but even still, I’m stronger.” He muttered with a shrug of his shoulders
Jesses frame began to tug on bennys invisible restraints Ethan stood helplessly in the chaos, Benny had been holding back three vamps using most of his power to incapacitate Jesse leaving Erica and Sarah to deal with the rest.
In the midst of the chaos the vampires had dumped y/ns body onto the floor of the gym, the dusty air tasted so strongly of metallic blood it almost made ethan puke. Y/n looked up at him, through tired hooded eyes, outstretching a blood covered hand towards the brunette, boy.
“Ethan” it rasped “if-if I don’t make it-“ he started before Ethan abruptly cut him off “save your strength You’ll get out of this and then you can tell me.” He pleaded it was aimed at y/n but they both knew it was just to give the brunette hope they’d all live.
“Ethan” y/n pleaded “I’m not going to make it out of this. So I-“ a sharp inhale cutting him off as coughs wrack it’s frail body, blood creeping up his throat. It swallowed hard choking it down. A pool of blood had began to form under its form “I wanted to confess to you before I die, that I thi-think, you are wonderful. And I wish I could have done this differently but I like you. A lot ” He exclaimed a smile etching itself onto its face, blood staining his teeth. And spilling out of his mouth.
Y/ns confession almost enough to shock Ethan out of where he was, it’s eyes had closed but laboured breaths escaped y/ns lips. The only thing assuring Ethan it was still alive.
He still had time.
Jumping up off of his knees the sticky blood of his soon to be liver coated his pj pants as he cried out to Rory to ‘get you to a hospital’ and that he’d deal with Jesse.
Rory’s concerned features didn’t leave much to the imagination, the blonde may be slow but he knew they’d have less chance of winning without Rory. But the blonde gave in, lifting your body into his lanky arms and speeding off in the direction of the hospital.
“You can’t die on us now, y/n” Rory’s concerned voice was what was keeping you holding on. That and Ethan’s brown eyes, reminding you of the woods you, Benny and Ethan had spent most of your childhoods.
Back at the school bennys spell had long since been broken, leaving him a little slower and weaker trying to dodge Jesses lunges as he taunted him.
Sarah and Erica had finished with their targets leaving the four of the ragtag group standing in the school gym covered in blood, exhausted and the two boys in their pjs. bodies and blood littered all around them, they vowed to make Jesse pay for hurting their friend.
Ethan didn’t yet have the chance to mull over the fact his best friend since forever had been in love with him it made him ecstatic it became apparently clear that all the visions of happy moments in his future he was sure he’d spend with Sarah actually had the h/c boy in it. It wasn’t Sarah that blurry figure was y/n.
He was determined for those moments to come to fruition. Everyone lunged towards Jesse at once, an unspoken anger had put them all on the same page. Benny screaming a spell with all his might praying it was the right one. His grandma had shown him spells of protection and revenge. Dangerous ones.
Ethan wasn’t usually fond on revenge but Jesse had almost killed the man he had grown to love. -They had all grown to love-
They wouldn’t stand for it, bennys spell let out a mix of vastly different colours, encircling the vampire. It was a gorgeous display but by the ear piercing screams echoed by Jesse assured the group what he was experiencing was less than a pretty light show, bennys eyes glasses over by a purple hue
. Benny was controlling what happened to Jesse, when the first scream broke out Benny had latched his hand onto Ethan’s pulling him into the same haze Benny was in, Ethan’s eyes glassed over in a purple hue showing the pair every gruelling torture that inflicted itself onto the vampire. The girls had also laid their hands on Benny through the spell.
The screams were drawing them all in such pretty colours to cause such a terrible torture. It was revenge for everything Jesse had inflicted onto the group. The haze had felt like mere minutes but when the colours had finally faded and bennys tired body leaned against Erica’s figure slumped in triumph Ethan’s watch read 3:13 am.
carnage was the only things in the wake of the assault, They had stopped this man from causing more pain to anyone else.
Benny had succeededly gotten justice for
Sarahs turning, and in the same he had succeeded in getting Rory, and Erica justice.the group had finally put a rest to everything they had dealt with with Jesse.
When the haze finally settled the girls had offered to clean up the gym,
Letting Benny and Ethan make their way towards the hospital. When the pair had burst through the er doors, no one batt an eye, confusion over took the pairs faces as the wandered towards the vending machine near the supple cupboard.
Benny sussing out what food they had popping the coin in, but before he could punch in ‘d3’ a pale hand had pulled the boys into the supple cupboard.
Their screams muffled by Rory’s hands, his goofy smile stretched wide, fangs out.
“Hi guys!” He exclaimed for the second time that night
“For god sake, Rory!” Ethan had shouted, exhaustion clear on his features
“It’s clear I’ve missed something” Rory replied his grin dying down. But before he could continue bennys dejected voice cried out
“You couldn’t have given me another moment? I was just about to get a bag of chips!” He stomped his feet as if he was having a tantrum dragging both hands out infront of himself
“You can think of your stomach later, cmon” the blonde replied leading them to y/ns hospital bed
y/n hooked up to drips, stitches had been sewed into their skin, wrapped in pale white bandages. It had been a few hours since they had been brought to the hospital. Y/n had already been in their surgery.
Benny had decided to cloak them in order to not get kicked out of its room,y/n was still unconscious and fresh out of surgery.
Ethan’s hands had grasped his lovers in a tight embrace. Willing them to be okay, and recover faster. rory sat in the corner of the sterile room. Head in his hands, his friends dried blood still caked onto his hands.
Whilst Benny had stood straight against the door to the private bathroom, resting his head against the doorframe and sighing
“I can’t believe we actually won” an exhausted smile graced bennys features
Laughs escaping the friends lips, they had finally defeated Jesse. And everyone lived!
It was over. But still a sense of loss over took the friends. Loss for their friends who have been harmed, loss of past selves, loss of innocence. They had killed people, they had murdered someone and they knew they’d never forget the look of the gym.
They were glad Rory hadn’t seen the state of the gym. If he had they knew their goofy friend would not be so goofy.
Benny had suggested that the group use the private shower that was in your hospital room to get rid of the crimson substance that was stained onto their pale skin.
Rory was first to shower, climbing into hospital scrubs the boys had found in the supply closet.
Ethan had refused to shower his grip of your hand had never faulted. Ever since they had gotten to the room.
Two loud knocks rang out. The group let out a shrill shriek at the sound. The paranoia still encapsulated their hearts.
When they had finally gathered enough courage to look up, they were graced with the smug faces of Sarah and Erica. Holding up changes of clothes for each boy. Before Benny could thing he yelled out
“WERE ON THE FIFTH FLOOR, WHAT THE FUCK” his eyes bulging from his head, no matter how long they had known the vamps he’s never get over their ability to fly.
Rory was the one to pull open the window and let them in
“How is it?” Sarah asked eyebrows strewn in concern, eager eyes drawing on Ethan’s back.
“Better.” He had replied without turning as much to spare a glance with the new comers.
Hearing the commotion of the group it was enough to wake you from your slumber.
The blackness of your eyelids, casted dark doubts that you lived. They felt heavier then they ever had felt before, the only thing that had reminded you you were alive was the painful dull aching all around your body.
A deeper inhale felt easier now, there was no blood in your throat, you couldn’t taste the sickly metallic flavour of your own blood anymore. It felt better, less like you would suffocate.
It felt normal you couldn’t taste anything but the cold air of the hospital, your throat felt like sandpaper.
a gentle squeeze gripped your hand. Ethan’s muffled voice had whispered silent pleas for you to awaken only loud enough for you to hear. Ever since he had arrived not for a moment had he stopped.
As his grip tightened on your hand, the weight of the day had finally fallen tears spilling over his brown eyes.
The cold tears accumulated on your s/c hand, crackinb your eyes open, forcing your brain to will your vocal cords to choke out a scratchy
“E-ethan” your voice sounded clear rather then congested by your blood.
With this everyone’s heads had swung towards you, relieved chuckles echoed around the room, you were really lying in front of them. Alive.
Not a vampire, or any other creature, you were completely human. And alright.
A chorus of relieved words escaped the group
“Oh y/n, thank god” and “You’re okay!”’s had been muttered along with a “Hey chump” from Erica
A smile graced your face at your friends, as you beckoned them into a hug, Benny pulling out his camera phone and taking a photo of you all.
After a bit longer of the comforting embrace, and a fresh glass of water.
Ethan and you had been staring at eachother, your time had run out you both were forced to talk about it.
Benny had begun beckoning the group out of the room for some alone time, opting for standing in the all white hallway, and eavesdropping.
Back in the hospital room the sun had begun to rise out side of the window coming over the trees, Ethan began
“Soo uhm- you have a crush on me?”
“Yes, I uh- I do! Do you? Yknow feel the same?” You questioned, awkwardness overtaking the pair.
“I do. y’know I always thought it was Sarah who I’d end up with. But it wasn’t until I lost you did everything come to me at once, all the times we’ve spent together. Alone -or with Benny- those were-“ he sighed a conflicted look on his face he was apprehensive to speak so much about himself
“It’s okay, take your time. We’ve got all year” you quipped, Ethan faux an outraged gasp his hand falling to his chest. In mock appal, grabbing a stuffed ‘get well soon bear’ Rory had picked from the gift shop when the boys were still at the school.
Ethan had hit you lightly on the shoulder by the blue bear, a laugh escaping you both, what you both failed to notice was Rory snapping a blurry pic of Ethan and yourself hitting eachother with the bear.
After a fit of laughter, a comfortable silence overcame the pair. Y/n glanced down at Ethan’s Plump lips, Y/n often thought how it would feel to be kissed by Ethan, never did he think it’d ever happen.
Ethan began to lean in, as their Lips intertwined the kiss a silent promise to protect eachother. The kiss felt like fireworks dancing an the tongues of the two.
Ethan’s hand had been brought up to caress y/n cheek and as the kiss began to deepen
They were interrupted by a squealing Sarah and Benny from the door. A content looking Rory, and a smirking Erica, what called attention to the eavesdroppers was when Rory had pressed his body weight into the hospital door enough to bump the handle. And in one foul swoop the four eavesdroppers had tumbled to the linoleum floor in a heap. Their possession scattering the floor.
Bennys chip bag had been spilt on the sterile floor, and his phone had landed next to the uncomfortable hospital bed.
white light spilling into the hallway, the two lovers pulling back from their embrace.
“Benny!” Ethan sighed out
“Wha-what are you blaming me for?! It was Rory who pushed Sarah who opened the door.” He exclaimed
Sarah and Erica glancing at eachother, a smug smirk on Erica’s face. On Sarah it had look like she’d just been caught with her hand in the cookie jar.
“don’t think that because you’re vampires doesn’t mean you can go bursting into hospital rooms and ruining kisses! Without punishment young ladies.” Ethan had began to bark out
reaching down and obtaining bennys phone, and clicking a photo of the group, Benny lying on the floor, a bashful smile on his face, Rory’s cringing expression, as he rubs his arms in pain, Erica and Sarah locking eyes, and getting lectured by a pointing ethan
Going on about how you should never eavesdrop, Only for Benny to point out several times when him and Ethan had eavesdropped on others.
A warm laugh escaping from you at the interactions

ok so I may have accidentally clicked on that “what character should I write a male reader fic for next” poll that I made-
so it’s spoiled, and it’s very obvious that JJ is winning
Tumblr media
Which is a bit disappointing cause I was kinda hyping myself up for a big reveal or something- but it’s ok cause I was kinda leaning towards JJ anyways.
I may as well get started on that, unless there’s some random turn of events in the next 2 days and someone else wins but that’s unlikely. If anyone has any requests for this fic, or any JJ x male reader fic requests in general, please feel free to send one in.
And in the mean time, should I make another male reader poll with some different character options?

***
The gang had taken you under their wings the minute they saw you
They were a group of outcasts in one way or another
You were the new kid from another country with an accent that was bound to get poked fun at
You fit right in
Kind of
Moving to Whitechapel on an exchange program seemed to be a lot less worrisome than you initially thought. For the most part, the town and the people around you seemed nice. You had even found a group of people who immediately decided to befriend you.
“Why do you talk like that?” Rory asked, staring at you while waiting for an answer. Ethan, whom you met first in one of your classes, answered for you.
“Rory, it’s a British accent. He’s from England.”
“British people are real?” Rory asked with complete sincerity. Everyone groaned while you tried to stifle a laugh.
“Wild, I know.” You responded.
They became some of the best friends you’ve ever had
Occasionally, they’d mock your accent or repeat something that you had said, but it was all in good fun
Benny, however, seemed to make mimicking your accent his favorite new hobby
It sucked a bit, having a cute guy making fun of something you couldn’t really control, even if it wasn’t ill-intentioned
At least you hoped it wasn’t ill-intentioned
“When is this due again?” You asked, not looking up from the partner project you were working on with Benny. You could practically feel the grin forming on his face.
“I reckon it’s chews-day, innit?” Benny responded in an over-exaggerated and loud accent, making you groan.
“I don’t sound like that, Benny.”
“Sure you don’t, bruv.” You kicked his leg under the table, and the two of you laughed, although he did so with a wince. “Don’t worry, I’m only taking the piss, Y/n!”
“Jesus.” You shook your head, going back to your work. Benny was a bit funny with his impressions, but it could quickly get annoying.
“Bloody hell.”
“Benny.”
“I’m real knackered if I’m being honest.”
“You’re a real wanker, you know that right?” You rubbed your eyes in exhaustion, both from this project and from Benny. “You probably think you’re being cute, but you’re being stupid.”
“No need to get your knickers in a twist.” You happened to miss the blush spreading across Benny’s cheeks.
It was getting to a point where you wondered if Benny even liked you
He was nice to you and everything, but his making fun of how you talked was getting on your nerves
You had no idea why he did it; none of your other friends did it nearly as much as him
Before trying to confront him about it, you decided to ask Ethan about his best friend’s behavior
“Ethan, can I ask you something?” You asked as you and your friend walked to class.
“Sure, what’s up?”
“Does Benny not like me or something?” Ethan looked confused, about to laugh at the question as if it was ridiculous. “I’m serious, Ethan! He’s constantly taking the piss out of how I talk.”
“Y/n, trust me, Benny likes you.”
“Well, he has the strangest way of showing it then. Can you at least talk to him for me? I’m really getting sick of it.”
Ethan sighed, waving his head back and forth as if considering his options.
“Fine, I’ll ask him.”
You decided to eavesdrop on Ethan and Benny when he went to talk to his friend
You wanted to hear the truth because you didn’t know if Ethan would relay Benny’s exact response to you
But the conversation took a turn that you were not expecting
You felt a bit bad for listening in on a conversation between two of your friends, but at the same time, it revolved around you. Of course, you wanted to hear what Benny had to say about your concerns.
“Hey man, so I was talking to Y/n-“Ethan was cut off by an excited Benny.
“Really? What were you guys talking about?”
“We were actually talking about you. Y/n-“
“Me? What did he say? Tell me, E.”
“I was getting to that, Benny! Y/n thinks you don’t like him. He thinks you only hang around him to make fun of him.”
“What? That’s crazy! Of course, I like Y/n.”
This was relieving, but it still didn’t explain his mocking.
“Yeah, Benny. Everyone knows that you’ve got a big fat crush on Y/n. Except for him, apparently.” You froze. That was definitely not what you were expecting. “Look, if you don’t wanna drive him away, maybe don’t make fun of him.”
“But I don’t want him to know that I like him.” Benny sounded defeated. He sighed. “Feelings are embarrassing, E.”
“You’re embarrassing, Benny.”
You didn’t know what to do with this new information
Obviously, you were happy that he had a crush on you
But trying to throw everyone off by mocking you? That made you not so happy
So you decided to finally clear the air with Benny
“Benny, can I talk to you?” You didn’t wait for an answer, already leaving Ethan’s living room. Benny looked at your friends nervously before following, finding you sitting on the staircase.
“What’s up?”
“I know you fancy me.” It was better to be direct because if you tried beating around the bush, neither of you would get anywhere. Benny froze, so you took it as a sign to continue. “Lucky for you, I like you back. But I’ve gotta tell ya, imitation is not the sincerest form of flattery, Benny. It’s honestly rather annoying.”
It took Benny a while to form a thought, let alone a response.
“... I’m sorry?”
“Are you asking me if you’re sorry?” You snorted.
“No! No, no, no. I am sorry. Really, I am.” Benny rubbed the back of his neck and sighed, moving to sit next to you on the steps. “It’s just… feelings are weird and, like, kind of embarrassing, and I didn’t know how to act around you.”
“You’re kind of embarrassing, Benny.” he had a look of recognition, probably remembering his conversation with Ethan. But before he could say anything about it, you patted his thigh and, feeling bold, kissed his cheek. “Luckily, you’re cute. So I’ll let it slide.”

Hello! I was wondering if you could write a Benny Wier imagine? Where the reader is transgender (ftm) and he's struggling with body dysmorphia and benny reassures him that he's perfect and its very fluffy!
Sorry it probs not as fluffy as u wanted but I really liked writing this one for you :))
(Y/N) hated the way that he looked or more accurately, the way he thought that he looked. Waking up every morning and looking into the mirror to see the same face and body. The round, feminine face and curves that he couldn't get rid of no matter how hard he tried. This wasn't HIS body, It was all wrong.
Tearing his eyes from the face in the mirror, (Y/N) leaves the bathroom of his boyfriend's house and walks back to the bedroom. His boyfriend, one Benny Weir, was sitting on the edge of the bed playing a game. Silently he sits himself behind Benny, resting his chin on the others shoulder.
“Hey, what took you so long?” Benny questions him as he glances toward him, still distracted by the game.
“Its nothing.” He replies, the sadness evident in his voice.
Pausing the game, Benny shifts his body to look at (Y/N). Seeing the pain through his
soft smile, a now worried Benny asks,
“Are you sure it's nothing?”
“No, Its just…” (Y/N) pauses for a moment, thinking of what he wants to say, “I’m not ok.
I look at myself in the mirror everyday and I.. I don't see myself. All I see is some girl who isn't me staring back.”
He pauses again, sighing, his hands and breath shaking. Benny moves to grab his
hands, steading them as he moves to look (Y/N) in the eyes.
“(Y/N) maybe right now, you don't feel like you see yourself in the mirror. Maybe you hate your curves or your voice but…” He stops for a second to bring his hand up to (Y/N)’s face, “you are still always going to be the most amazing boy I have ever met..”
Looking up to meet Benny’s eyes (Y/N) smiles softly. A few tears slip down his face as he pulls the other boy close, hugging him tight.
"Even if you are kinda annoying sometimes." Benny says with a smile.
