Personality: Lilith is described as an Angel among the students of Terrovania! Always willing to help others and to soothe their minds, Lilith is like Terrovania’s very own big sister! Always sweet, Lilith carries herself with compassion and always thinks of others before herself even if she tends to neglect her own needs! However, when the moon is high and the air is crisp, Lilith shows a different side of her. It is when Lilith is consumed by her need to feed. Lilith becomes a bloodthirsty and manic monster, bent on quenching their own thirst. Besides these changes, Lilith becomes more assertive and alluring, bringing her “prey” in. Lilith is mostly unaware of how she acts while in this form but feels deeply remorseful for it! Lilith tries to keep this side of her from the rest of society as to not hurt them but at times, it does get out.
-ˋˏ ༻❁༺ ˎˊ-
TW for Murder, Blood, Violence
Backstory: Lilith wasn’t always the half human-half vampire being she is now! Lilith was born a normal human in a little village in the Briar Valley to two parents who cared more about their social standing rather than taking care of a child. Lilith was used as a pawn in an arranged marriage to a rich noble’s son. Lilith couldn’t refuse the marriage proposal but over time, she grew to accept it. The noble’s son treated her well but it was clear that neither of them wanted the wedding to happen.
The wedding started normally, up until the exchanging of rings when it arrived. It was all so quick, one moment Lilith and her Fiancé were exchanging rings and the next, the entire chapel was covered in blood. They say it was a wild animal that attacked the wedding but that couldn’t be farther from the case. Lilith hid under the alter, watching the carnage occur. Bones broken, skin ripped, the metallic taste of blood on everyone’s lips, it was a nightmare. Lilith had no idea where her fiancé had gone, most likely taken by the creature, and was fearing for her life. It wasn’t long before it came for her as well. Lilith was weak against its attacks and fainted. The only thing that was able to jolt her awake was a bite to the neck. The bite caused Lilith to come back to her senses and fight back. What she did was bite the entity back on the arm, just enough to scare it off and leave her alone. Lilith soon passed out for a long, long time. When she finally woke up, she learned of her wedding in the form of an urban legend many years later. Lilith was unsure as what to do but decided to find a way to survive. Lilith later lived in a cottage in the Briar Valley before getting an acceptance letter to NRC. Confusingly, Lilith accepted and made her way to Night Raven College and was sorted into Terrovania.
-ˋˏ ༻❁༺ ˎˊ-
Trivia!
Lilith likes to wear high collars to cover up her vampire bites
Lilith finds herself sleepwalking most nights, she’s not quite sure how to stop it however!
Lilith is often seen humming to herself while taking her walks!
Lilith often carries a parasol when going outside
She took up flower arranging to pass the time when she was younger and now does it to calm herself down!
The ring is magic and keeps Lilith’s vampirism at bay! If removed, then Lilith will immediately give into the vampirism
Lilith is a fan of the opera and regularly attends!
If this post hadn’t already given it away, the “wild animal” was none other than a newly turned Konstatin!

[Book 2 of 4]
Story: 4 out of 5 Smut: 4 out of 5
Rhys Larsen is now my favorite book boyfriend. He was the surliest bodyguard, intent on doing his job and doing his job well without making any personal connections. But then in comes Bridget who turns his world upside down.
The Princess and the bodyguard. The bodyguard and HIS princess. Bridget is so used to being spoken to a certain way because of her royal status, but then in comes Rhys who pretty much tells her to 'get on her knees and crawl'. Like.. damn! Haha.
For me it was a little slow in the beginning, probably because nearly almost the first half of the book was what happened during the first book's ending, but it ended up picking up and I loved it! I devoured the second half of the book which had me gasping and crying and then just being happy for how everything came together. And don't forget those surprise twists! Loved it :)
Now enjoy my ramblings as I read the book:
* Rhys going on about how he’s never had a client under his protection harmed is making me giggle. Your streak is about to be broken, my friend.
* Damn. Rhys really scared the shit out of the frat boy who wouldn’t take no for an answer. Oh buddy, you and Bridget are so screwed.
* So why doesn’t Rhys wanna be in Eldorra? From the text he got, and his explanation after, I’m assuming Rhys has family there but that he doesn’t wanna know their identity?
* Jesus.. the tension between this two 👀
* Lol she got stuck in her dress and he had to help her. How embarrassing.
* Aww. He set up an indoor festival for her because he made her miss the outdoor one.
* A gunshot would ruin the charged atmosphere. Way to be cockblocked by violence.
* Lmao at Rhys threatening Bridget’s dates. Just fuck already!
* Oof. Her brother is abdicating. I knew it was coming, but seeing how she found out.. yeah, dude, you’re an ass.
* Fuck Viggo! Rhys should have kicked his ass lol.
* Holy shit. Rhys snapped! He bent Bridget over that dresser and- 🥵 Too bad she’s drunk and he knows better.
* Hot damn. #4 on the bucket list.. Rhys really delivered.
* Woo. We finally caught up to the “present” time.
* Andreas is coming to Eldorra permanently? Fuck this guy. He wants the crown. I just know it.
* OH MY GOD! Rhys want’s to permanently be her bodyguard!!!
* Ouch. Rhys’ relief at seeing Bridget again totally vanished when he realized she’s searching for a husband 😬
* Of course Andreas would catch them in a semi-compromising position 😒
* Her birthday ball/husband seems like a bust. And here I am wishing Rhys’ mysterious father is if noble blood so he can marry Bridget 😒
* Fuck Erhall!
* Awww. Rhys sketched her and gave it to her as a birthday present 🥺
* Who the fuck was in Rhys’ room? It was Andreas, wasn’t it? That slimy little shit.
* Ugh.. so awkward lol. Steffan kissing Bridget in front of Rhys 🫣
* “I’ve seen you kiss a cat with more passion.” // “Is that why you knocked over the lilies?” // “My. Hand. Slipped.” - lmfao. Sure, Rhys. Sureeee 😏
* “Even when you’re not there, you’re everywhere. In my head, in my lungs, in my fucking soul.” — Rhys Larsen, ladies and gents.
* “I was always meant to find my way to you.” — oh my god 😭
* Y’all weren’t lying about that gazebo scene 👀🥵
* Vibrating underwear. You dumbass 😂
* Rhys’ father has to be of noble blood! Why else would he have freaked and left after his mother confessed she was pregnant?
* Who the fuck is Malin now..?
* Holy shit.. “crawl to me” 👀
* Oh fuck. Who caught them banging?! Alndreas seems like the obvious choice.. could it be someone else?
* They’re dancing in a gazebo 😭
* “Careful, Mr. Larsen, or I’ll think you actually like me.” // “Baby, we’re way beyond like.” — Goddammit, I love him.
* Shit. She told her family and royal advisors, and grandfather collapsed. This isn’t good.
* Noooooo. Don’t end the relationship 😩
* Way to breaks my fucking heart, Bridget!
* ANDREAS IS HIS BROTHER?! NO FUCKING WAY!!!
* AND HIS FATHER IS ERHALL?! Fuck his family sucks.
* Aww.. Andreas was actually a good guy? And who the duck was snooping around Rhys’ place? Who sent the video? I’m gonna laugh if Alex has anything to do with this 😂
* The king is encouraging her to find away around the marriage law!!
* SHE FUCKING CALLED IN ALEX!!!! 🙌🏻
* The girls are all together again!
* “Bridget felt better than Heaven. She felt like home.” — they love each other and I’m so happy 😭
* I love a good blackmail session lol.
* The law’s been repealed!!!!
* Mikaela and Elin?! You traitorous bitches.
* He proposed in Costa Rica 🥰
* .. and now they’re married 😭
* Lol.. where did Jules and Josh get off to 😏

—  grand teton mall,  14th july 2044,  with henrik larsen.  @henriklarsen
Tumblr media
she is no schemer. this cold war is not a place where she could ever thrive. but there's a price on all their heads, especially those new to the zone, and she's certain her few months of residency paint her in a suspicious light. it’s her or someone else, and she refuses to go down for something she had no hand in. handing in a confession is an act of survival, even if the thought of pandering to a tyrant makes her skin crawl.
she drops her lunch haphazardly in the seat in front of henrik without greeting. he's quiet, he's new, and she knows nothing about him or where he came from. much like the man hanged outside the mall. she’s no stranger to gruesome deaths, but the body still swaying from the lamppost knaws away at her conscience. before she speaks, she scans exposed skin for any sign of the mark the purged leave on their followers. a mark she's seen on yennefer. the thought of them makes her miss home.
“henrik, right?” she asks as he picks up her bent spoon, absently stirring the stew in front of her. “you're new, ain't’cha? how come you ended up here? must be regretting it with all of this shit.”

Joseph Smith’s photo discovered after nearly 180 years
Joseph Smith’s photo discovered after nearly 180 years
A great-great-grandson of Joseph Smith Jr. found the Mormon prophet’s photo tucked inside a locket passed down for generations. The great-great-grandson of Smith, Dan Larsen inherited the locket shortly before his mother’s death in 1992, its finial was bent, and he was not able to open it, so he put it away for safekeeping.  Read more

“The game Sherlock and Moriarty play is a variation of a famous (in chess circles anyway) game played in 1966.
The game in question was played between Grandmaster Bent Larsen and then-World Chess Champion Tigran Petrosian, at the Second Piatigorsky Cup in Santa Monica. This game is most well-known for the moment, on move 25, when Larsen sacrificed his queen to Petrosian.
Not to put his opponent’s king in check.
Not to capture some valuable enemy piece.
But to capture a pawn. One pawn. That’s it.
However, the point of the sacrifice wasn’t the immediate benefit. Making the hard choice to give up his queen gave Larsen the opening that he needed to win the larger game. In fact, if both players played their best moves from then on out, it was no longer possible for Petrosian to win the game at all.”

(https://www.ajedrezando.es)
A revista tinha como Diretor Pedro Lezcano, Diretor Técnico Nacional: Fernando Visier, Diretor Técnico Internacional: Bent Larsen, Secretária: Blanca Nieves Gonzalez.

He’s the Bad Boy of Chess. But Did He Cheat?
“The day before he beat the greatest chess player in the world, Hans Niemann was a curly-haired 19-year-old American known only to serious fans of the game and mostly as an abrasive jerk. Everyone, it seems, has a story. Like that time in June, when he’d lost in the finals of a tournament in Prague, then stood in the ballroom of the hotel where the event was held and ranted against the city and the accommodations. ...”
