Decided to start digging again through my 5000+ Early Access Screenshots through each patch and managed to find Bex & Danis from Patch 3, 6 & 8.

I had forgotten that Bex used to wear that cute shirt with the lace. Maybe she still has it but stowed away for nicer occasions?

I did however remember her dark brown hair and was quite surprised to have seen it changed to blond for full release but she's rocking that look too.

I'd like to imagine that the dark brown is her natural hair colour and just recently dyed it blonde while stuck in the Grove. This to me is why when you later find Danis in Moonrise Tower he describes her as having Dark Hair because that's what he's used to her having that comes to mind as he's frantically asking you if she's ok. That's my headcanon at least.

I love this little couple dearly and I do hope that they got that little orange cat once they got a proper home in Baldurs Gate. 🧡

Can they dance and will they dance with you?

They're great dancers and will dance with you

Our resident dancing kings and queens. They either know a few different dance styles or are very good at a specific one, either way they're more than happy to spin you around or be lead around the dancefloor. They're all highly in demand at parties and get togethers but they'll save a song or five for you ;)

KARLACH, Wyll, ASTARION, Zevlor, Alfira, Volo, ISOBEL

They're surprisingly good dancers and will dance with you

The black horses out of the crew. You wouldn't expect them to sweep you off your feet like they do, but it's certainly fun going along with it. They don't dance often, and might only dance if you give them puppy dog eyes, but it's certainly a sight to see.

Halsin, Shadowheart, GALE, ROLAN, Dammon, Lia, Bex, Aylin

They get stage fright/have a reputation but will dance with you in private

The shy ones, or they'd just prefer to keep up their reputation. You'll never have any luck if you ask in public, but they'd happily waltz you around the living room while pretending there's music. It's all a very intimate and private affair. Just how they'd like things.

RAPHAEL, Haarlep, GERALDUS, Dannis, RUGAN

They can dance but simply choose not to

It's nothing against you, really. They simply just don't dance. They'll happily cheer on or roast others they see dancing a jig but you wouldn't catch them doing it. It doesn't matter how much you ask, pester, or beg, it's simply going to have to stay a dream.

thanks to @reverieblondie im picturing rolans family running a much, but we both know danis and bex wind up with a big family and they can afford that comfortable because the bakery does so well, and chances are dammon wants a big family too

these kids are roughly the same age so they all run around the gate playing games, but because of the way their parents are, they don't cause any real trouble they're very well behaved honestly. i bet cal has a few kids after a while too, lia might have one but is more likely the cool aunt

any real trouble is usually mols doing in some way or another

can you imagine going to the gate and finding out theres a bard school run by alfira and lakrissa, the giant tower belongs to some scary ass tiefling dude with serious resting bitch face, the best blacksmith is also a teifling who has a giant family of his own, the best general store also run by tieflings, mattis and the others love seeing all the kids running around feeling so safe and having no idea what hunger is.
