had one of those weirdly realistic dreams last night

dreamt that i woke up in the middle of the night n checked my phone n i had a notification from my old fp

n i looked at it from my notification bar n could feel my stomach sink

n then i got kina upset cause the preview message said somethin about his bf so i didnt click on the notification n jus turned off the screen , muttered "fuck off..", n went back to sleep

IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE….. right so I used 2 b somewhat of a movie buff so im gonna give u my top 10 movies that I think YOU should watch:

1. Das Boot /english title: The Boat (full version from 1981, no 2018 pussy bullshit) dir. Wolfgang Petersen it is the movie ever. I have the book in german and english and i have like 4 posters for it, it is that good

2. Farewell my Concubine (1993) dir. Chen Kaige Das Boot n this have shared number 1 spot. There’s all kinds of child abuse in the first hour of the film, so look that up if that’s anything ur uncomfortable with, but this movie is so beautiful i think everyone needs to see it. It was the first movie I saw with Leslie Cheung and he’s amazing <3<3<3<3<3

3. The Lighthouse (2019) dir. Robert Eggers

4. I Kina spiser de hunde /english title: In China They Eat Dogs (1999) dir. Lasse Spang Olsen One of the funniest movies out there. About a shy banker whose girlfriend breaks up with him and takes all his furniture, and the next day his bank gets robbed, but he manages to stop it. Later the robber’s girlfriend comes to his apartment and beats him, claiming that she and her bf were gonna use that money to adopt since she can’t get pregnant. The banker decides to contact his half-criminal brother to rob a cargo so that the girlfriend can get the money.

5. “Pusher” trilogy (Pusher, Pusher II: With Blood on My Hands, Pusher III: I’m the Angel of Death) (1996) dir. Nicolas Winding Refn you knew this was gonna b up here. Personally I love the second one the most bc it’s interlaced with this heavy melancholia.

6. La Haine (1995) dir. Mathieu Kassovitz

7. The Florida Project (2017) dir. Sean Baker From the genius behind “Tangerine”. top 10 movies that always makes me cry

8. Dom Kallar Oss Mods /english title: “They call us Misfits” trilogy (They Call Us Misfits, A Respectable Life, The Social Heritage) (1968, 1979, 1993) dir. Stefan Jarl Fuck Boyhood. Jarl made a documentary in three parts, the first one filmed in the late 60s, following two boys living in Stockholm, the last documentary even follows the boys’ sons as they’re growing up in a world that is completely distant from their fathers’. It’s perfect, it’s a cult classic, I can’t explain how beautiful it is, depicting how fast n how much society n culture in Sweden changed during the 70/80s, before n after r like 2 seperate worlds. also its just sad man.........

9. 15: The Movie (2003) dir. Royston Tan It’s a black comedy that’s v well executed. I haven’t watched it in years, but I still remember scenes vivdly like the main characters’ chant and a gangster boss sending two guys on a mission to find the best building in Singapore to committ suicide from. 

10. Les Amants du Pont-Neuf /english title: The Lovers on a Bridge (1991) dir. Leos Carax Juliette Binoche is one of the leads, that should be all you need, she is a fantastic actress. 

EXTRA. Christiane F. (also known as Wir Kinder Vom Bahnhof Zoo) (again 1981 is the year, not the remake, i havent seen the remake yet so i cant say if its good/bad) dir. Uli Edel This movie made me romanticise drugs n move to Berlin on my own at 16 so yeah.

Who is the most affectionate?

Definitely Kiba. It’s the very reason behind most of their fights. He feels underappreciated and as if he is the only one who cares, even though he knows better – he can smell how much Neji cares. But he is petty and wants an actual demonstration, not just to guess by smelling Neji. rip

Who initiates the handholding?

Same as before. Kiba is very physical in how he expresses himself, so he initiates handholding – especially if he wants to apologize, he’ll take Neji’s fingers and rub them before fully holding his hands.

Who worries more for the other?

Neji. Kiba is kind of a ticking bomb, very easily set off and more often than not, reckless with his own life. The only thing that grounded him before Neji was Akamaru, and he’s the very reason Kiba is still around. Not to mention how sensitive Kiba really is, especially towards those he cares about. He gets easily hurt / offended, and he’ll be a mess for days before letting it go.

Who is more likely to ask for help?

Not outright ask for help, but Kiba asks for Neji’s input on pretty much everything and anything. He wants to know what Neji thinks of this and that, to tell him what he should do in a specific situation and whatnot. It ranges from silly things like ice cream flavor to big ones like ‘should i tell my mother i don’t want to get married’.

Who is the one always losing the keys?

According to Mars, Kina will not leave Neji alone. No keys for him.

Who leaves little love notes for the other?

Both, often after a fight big enough for them to regret it but not to break them up. They’ll be embarrassed and feel unsure, so facing each other in the morning is really hard – hence the little notes.

Who can’t sleep unless the other is there?

Neji. He gets used to Kiba smothering sleeping positions bc Kiba Needs access to Neji’s nape / back of his head bc inhaling his scent is relaxing, so when Kiba isn’t there, the bed is too cold and too big. Yikes.

Who is more likely to propose to the other?

Mars and I both agreed that a proposal is kind of out of the question in most verses since both the Hyuuga and Inuzuka are downright against same sex marriage, and the two of them are going to respect their families wishes to some extent, so proposing is... hard. So we decided to think about it as who was the first one to get serious, and Kiba it is. Right after the War, he decides enough is enough and they get their shit together. No more pointless fights and petty cruelty. Character development, baby.

Who introduced the other to their family first?

Kiba. Neji has his beef with the family’s main branch, feels pretty dettached from the Hyuga clan, whereas Kiba has his Mother and sister – both of which eventually gets on board with Kiba being gay.

Who is more likely to play with the other’s hair?

Kiba. It always smells nice and it’s so soft...

Who makes sure the other has meals/stays hydrated?

Neji. Kiba isn’t necessarily careless with himself in this aspect, but it happens, and Neji is there to look after him.

Who is more likely to stand up to anyone for the other?

It’s about the same, really. ‘No one can talk shit about my bf besides me’ kind of deal. They’re equally protective over each other. Though Neji can handle himself with more dignity, and Kiba is always up for watching him roast someone so it’s not often he’ll intervene. Kiba will throw hands immidiately so Neji has to be the reasonable one... So Neji leaning, yeah.

Who is the most likely to prepare a surprise for the other?

Neji, and Kiba will react accordingly – happy, excited, almost peeing himself.

Who makes the other pinky promise not to do certain things?

Kiba. And Neji takes the pinky promises seriously, because Kiba takes them seriously. So they need to be on the same page.

Who puts a blanket over the other when they fall asleep on the couch?

They either nap together or it ain’t happening. In the off chance that this happens, they’ll crawl right in with the other.
