so the king comic - last two panels specifically, when marker starts telling the story.

is there a reason those gods resemble bfdi characters? are those characters actually gods, or just some representation or common belief?

but I have more questions for the next:

why is that monster pencil? and stage four of the dusk is an umbra. infected people are penumbras. is there by any chance a reason behind them being called PENumbras and pencil being shown as a monster in that panel? a sort of "patient 0" of the dusk?

plus, why would marker know this tale? because his sister was the first person infected? was it just a tale passed through people, and he doesn't have any idea why he knows it?

that would also help why it was called the dusk- as the monsters were in caves underground?

sorry I got too theorising there, feel free not to elaborate on any of this if the answers are too spoiler-y

Whoa, this is a long one (my favorites!)

1. They're a combination of those two things. The gods (I also call them Deities) are real. However, as higher beings, their actions, motives and existence itself are incomprehensible for the objects: they don't know why a deity would do "bad" or "good", or even why interact with them in first place. Soon the creatures would create their own beliefs and myths to explain their nature, representing them with symbols and giving them their "themes", like "god of the rain", "god of death" and that stuff

In a nutshell: gods are real but they're incomprehensible beings, so objects created symbols and meanings of them to give sense to their nature

(I know it's a bit messy idea to understand, but stick with me)

2. That's not our Pencil, it's just doe one of the same kind as her, Pen and Marker (rats + writing utensils) (I still don't have a name for the Species-)

3. Nope. The thing that's going to be told in THE KING isn't the Dusk, it's just a different thing, a tale from where Marker and his siblings are from, their local folklore. Marker just knows and likes a lot of these stories and legends told to him throughout his life. Maybe he's very aware of what he's telling, maybe not, who knows

tbh I absolutely loved this observations, they make sense in someway lol, but wait for part 2 and the others, these may answer other questions (or make more?)

here are some underrated (in my opinion) media's I recommend!

Lackadaisy (Animated PILOT - Webcomic.) Lackadaisy has its own Animated PILOT on YouTube, and a Webcomic you can find on the official lackadaisy website! The series is about a webcomic set in Prohibition-era St. Louis, Missouri. It chronicles the events of a cast of anthropomorphic cats as they struggle to keep the titular speakeasy afloat.

Murder Drones (Animated series) Murder Drones has recently gained popularity, but is still a small project. You find it on youtube. On a post-apocalyptic exoplanet, worker drones struggle to survive by hiding from rogue robots called Murder Drones

Epithet Erased (Animated series - book) you can find the first 7 episode Animated on YouTube! Season 2, however, Is a book. based on the tabletop roleplay series Anime Campaign! With unique powers called epithets, and characters attempting to steal an amulet rumored to have the ability to take a person's epithet.

Lego Monkie Kid (Cartoon) The tale begins when an ordinary boy, Monkie Kid, finds Monkey King's legendary staff, and he becomes the chosen one. You can watch on PRIME VIDEO!

Recreyo (YouTube channel!) Oddly enough, I'm recommending a YouTube channel.. a Comedy podcast with a group of friends with trust issues are thrown into different chaotic scenarios where they have to survive by learning to trust each other.. or not.

I'm running out of ideas or media's so.. uh yeah guys you should watch those silly fnaf rps like Oddities or The Famous Films!!! There's more, but I don't know them all lol

EDIT ; The amazing digital circus is a new media too! Though, the fandom has grown largely. It's a animated pilot on YouTube, under the GlitchProductions channel. (creators of murder drones)

EDIT ; Spooky Month! Halloween is one of everyone's favorites, and so is October! I'm sure you've all heard of this show, made by Sr. pelo. Every year, near Halloween, a new episode for this series released! Last year, it grew huge in popularity.

There obviously tons of smaller projects out there, and I totally recommend them! Make sure to support small creators!

well, i do have some suggestsions, these aren't rp games, buuut still

projecTEMI, a roblox game that's very much reminiscent of epic minigames, that features all sorts of object shows, bfdi? ii? lots? hfjone? you name it, it's there, characters also have their own abilities, for example: pin has the choice to spawn a healing cake or a damaging cake (for the scarlet costume, it's always damaging for some reason), and is overall just the most fun bfdi / osc related game i've played on the slop hellhole known as roblox

Battle For Dream Island Again, as the title suggests, it's literally just BFDIA but in roblox, do challenges, avoid being up for elimination, and win dream island (again) at the end

Block Tales, if you like rpg's (like earthbound) then this is the game for you, it's one of those games that actually, you know, feels like an actual game?

Rain Escape, it's kind of repetitive but the premise is simple, you are either a scug or a lizard, you have to survive the lizards, and the rain via the shelters, and by eating food pips (pretty much just rain world at this point)

now, onto 2 others that i wouldn't really recommend, but you can still try them if you are the cat in this case with the saying "curiosity killed the cat"

PHIGHTING!, it's got like a lot of classes or something and it has a banger soundtrack, that's all i can say about it

Pressure, according to some people this is like ultrakill and there's a song called Search Party, also one of the characters is voiced by the same voice actor of gabriel ultrakill

Both Georgia and Theodore have a passion for STEM (with Georgia having an affinity for mechanical engineering and Theodore wishing to attend medical school after graduating high school).
