Btw looking at the little naga multiverse that’s going on. I love it sm lol Into the Naga!Clip-Verse am I right??
How would a BH!Eclipse fit as a naga? And how would he interact with the others? :0
Ahahah, it really is! And tossing the bounty hunter into the mix? Oh man
Bounty Hunter!Eclipse as a naga takes after the Rainbow Boa. He possesses deep red scales with black saddle-shaped markings along his tail, and his sun rays are made of black and orange frills. He's nocturnal and sticks to the trees, preferring solitude and avoiding anything that walks along the ground, except for, of course, our lovely Y/N. He does not interact with the others. The reason is if he's compelled, he will act violently, horribly, and it will end will blood everywhere. So, he's better off alone while he struggles with his urges.
He carries a captivating rainbow iridescent sheen to his scales that is rarely seen, but Y/N manages to snap a picture of it, mistaking BH!Eclipse for only a snake and not a naga. Oops.
BH!Eclipse is none too pleased to be photographed and as such gives Y/N a warning with some terrifying hissing and threats to crush them. He looms over them and the brush of his coils gives Y/N shivers of death but ultimately, he refrains from his impulse to smother them. He orders them to show him the picture. When Y/N reveals the photo with shaking hands, he's stunned by how nicely Y/N captured him. As if he's not entirely violent and deadly. It stirs something deep in his cold heart.
He orders Y/N to leave. They bolt out of there like a gazelle but little do they know the impression they just left.
BH!Eclipse wants to see them again (he wants to see how nicely they bruise, how pretty their sanguine blood is—no, no, no) he wants to see if they'll take more pictures. He wonders how well they can handle seeing him again after he scared them.
What's one more thing to try and get right?

Just read Bloodstain Fool by @naffeclipse and I caught the BH!Eclipse brainrot. Help. [ID: A inkbrush style digital painting of BH!Eclipse, he is reclining against a chaise, looking up at his blood covered hand. There is blood down the front of his shirt and he holds a lit cigar in his other hand. His jacked is draped over the chaise. The colours are deep saturated reds and oranges. /End ID]

sometimes you gotta embrace self-indulgence and that involves certain folks having a mechanic 'friend' (because I dunno how well animatronic healthcare works in the Sleuth Jesters-verse but that's not gonna stop me)
@naffeclipse's AUs are very fun to mix around too so we have bh!Eclipse getting a well-meaning talk despite both folks present knowing full well he's perfectly capable of self-maintenance - whereas mb!Sun and Moon are being hellions and getting warned that their mechanic has the police chief's phone number on their rolodex
these all stemmed from the og detective AU belonging to @sunnys-aesthetic

The (ephimeral) success of solo projects on Chapter 2
I wanted to write a post about chapter 2 and Jimin, the "sabotages"... but I don't know if I'm able to sort out the facts and my ideas or judgements about them properly. Nothing is clear to me yet.
There are days when a part of me believes that something is going on with Jimin and Hybe (or BH, I don't know which). But there's another part, the rational part, the part that works as an economist for 20 years, that knows that it doesn't make much sense for a for-profit company to boycott one of its most valuable assets.
In the Executive Boards, and in financial planning, decisions are made on the basis of economical evidence, which is always provided by current numbers (or estimates), not by the heart. Maybe even in the case of BTS there is some sense of fairness, I would say, at the outset. And not an asymmetric distribution according to profit projections.
In the trade-off I find myself in, I would like to share the following thoughts:
- I have recently realised that Chapter 2 is not the chapter of their solo career. It is the chapter of their solo work, which is slightly different.
- Most of them has a short time to promote their work. The average has been a "several weeks" window.
- Their success is therefore somewhat short-lived or ephimeral. It appears and within weeks it seems to fade away, eclipsed by the next in line. The nex king of "k-..."
- There is no intention of promoting a structured solo career, because 1) BTS have said (a million times) that they will be back in 2025, and 2) if we are to take them at their word, the boys will all be joining the military before the end of 2023.
- So, there is no long-term vision to support "some" and not "others".
- The support is focused on a specific work. The only exception to a more continuous commitment has been Suga and his tour.
- Everyone has their budget, their schedule, their activities for the year...
- And yes, there can be different intensities of promotional activities, depending on the defined strategy or budget or goal or whatever (we don't know the whole story because the company doesn't explain anything to us). There is a rumour that some have even put their money into some activities. But I don't know how true that is.
- And I think they all have a say in the design of their promotions, even if they don't design them themselves.
So then....I can't take the agency away from any of them.
They are the best advocates or defenders within the company. And if one of them had less influence, which I doubt, the others would not remain silent without solving the problem. Or how do we think a commitment from the 7 of them to the 7 of them is achieved to keep BTS as a unified group? There are no weak links in this group. And if there were, I wouldn't bet my money that Jimin is one of them.
Once again, there are things that I can't explain and I'd like to know what's going on (the lack of restocking, the split of Spotify streaming, the deletion of sales...). But if there really have been damaging mistakes or strategies for any of them, I hope that when the next contract comes up for renewal, they will sort it out very thoroughly. Cause this cant happen anymore.
To tell you the truth, I blame the company for many things, and one of them - as serious as their lack of planning - is their lack of communication with the fans. BeautifulPeach has talked about this in some of her posts.
At some point in its growth, Hybe became too big to fail, or whatever, and forgot about certain corporate social responsibility obligations. One of them is to talk to its most important stakeholders: the customers, i.e. the fans. And addressing some of their concerns.
Investors are important in listed companies, but customers are important too. Always.
And if they don't see it that way and continue to despise the fans (clients) in that way, then at the end “future is not gonna be ok”.
And yes, I know that K-pop is controversial. It's clear that they can't deal with every rumour, every silly trend that comes out every day on twitter, ships, solos demands, etc. But there are things that they can deal with. And some of the Jimin's events when Face happened are one of them.
A bit of transparency would be appreciated. I expect it, actually, at some point (maybe when this chapter ends).
Maybe there will be things that could be explained as commercial strategy (do they want us to buy Face instead of the single LC, for example? And that's why they're not stocking it again?). But they might also be telling us about certain difficulties. Or about certain forecasting mistakes. Or how they learned from some of them. I'm pretty sure they learned a lot from Jimin's Face era.
I don't think I will be able to judge everything that has happened until at least the end of this year, when all the solo works have been completed/released.
And I'll have to keep listening to Bongo to see if he still talks about how they are more interested in being a company that has groups rather than individual singers. Maybe that is why it seems there's a ceiling to individual success. There is nothing better than capping success with time limitation of activities ("Let's see if that makes the fans forget what solo members are capable of")
And even then, there will be differences between all of them. Quite a lot.
But we will also have to consider that they are different artists with different goals, sensibilities, objectives and situations (let's not forget that JK himself, who now seems quite greedy, has admitted that he needed and enjoyed his free time and Seven had to come along to give him a boost). So we should be careful with the comparison too.
Perhaps Jin will end up getting the most promotions when he comes out, considering how little time he has had. Poor Jin…😔 He had to wait until the end of the year to enlist, despite the bad weather, to give us the Busan concert. It was a commitment to BTS, but it was a short of individual sacrifice too… you know..they do these things for BTS.
I would also like to listen to them (yes, it's a bit ambitious on my part, but I would like to listen to Jimin and his feelings, at the end of this year... will he open up to us?)
In conclusion, I would say that if we are BTS fans and want to remain so, and if we believe in the boys' words .... I would advise us to enjoy every moment they give us for their limited time. Every campaign, every song, every vlive... and try to find an atmosphere of caution given the situation we are in.
And by that I mean that we should also be able to read that we are in the age of solos and akages. All the information about grievances or leaks that comes out usuarlly comes from the same places.
And I'm not saying it's FALSE! Nor do I mean to belittle it! Just that sometimes we should take into account the intentions behind. And before we react, let's consider the source and the context. Look at what happened to the RNX journalist we all spent almost a day reporting on for a bad translation. Or look at how, in less than two weeks, two CCTV vids of Jimin shopping with a friend (one of them clearly with Saeon) suddenly appeared just as it became known that he was going to NY with JK.
Anyway, I will be a bit cautious for now. There are still a few months until the end of the year. A lot can still happen.
Jimin could came back again to us with sth as amazing as Like Crazy. Or even better, an album.
I miss Jimin and want to see him shine again and talking to us.
And I miss jikook……arrrggg

Hi Moon! Got a big favour to ask you. You see I got the Flug's log book I put the hidden codes together... And as much as everything worked *kinda* well the main and most important thing from the very beggining is just unreadable. I mean translator issues. In English it's a mess and in my national language it's even worse. Could you translate that thing I suspect to be some sort of prophecy into understandable English? I would be grateful. (Also, BH has no idea such prophecy exist right? 👀)
Hey! Yeah, I think it's time to post it here. Been a while already, I assume everyone that wants to read the book already read it. I will still tag this as spoilers.
Here's the prophecy translated! I took the liberty to space it how I saw fit so it's easier to understand in English, a direct translation of these kinds of things doesn't work too well as it's even hard to understand in Spanish with the cryptic wording:
'And those who shine will dictate and punish with promises to prevent the eternal shadow of life
Seven will blind with light and bring dawn to a terrifying transformation disguised as liberation through golden needles
This will mark the awakening of the one who swam in the river of stars to warn for the last time in its barefoot form and tell those with pure hearts
The end made evil did not come from within lit by hot crimson and blazing yellows
But from the deep and malignant darkness that sleeps beyond the spherical orchards
When the dome is extinguished and the stars spill on the ground the great union will be formed in vain for it will be sustained by foundations of terror and blasphemies.
Be afraid
Be afraid because despite the great union this will be the last lament of all dimensions.
Fear that moment fear that eternal night fear the Red Eclipse'
Here's the page of the book:

If you want me to translate any more secret messages, point them at me :)
As for your last question... Who knows ;)

It’s interesting how Bell’s Hells having much less abrasive personalities than Mighty Nein despite being equally/more broken is something some fans complain about and yet some others find endearing.
I enjoy inter-party conflicts (heck my fav MN “ship” is Empire Kids platonic ship because they fought A LOT) but for Bell’s Hells I fall into the latter category. I just see them as traumatized people who cope differently. They turn inward and close off as a way to response to trauma and I think, in their mindset, being secretive/flippant is a way to not burden their friends about their problem. That is something I relate a lot (and I’m sure many other people too). It makes it much easier for me to root for them to succeed.
And I see it as they just don’t have time to squabble among themselves. There is no question that what they are dealing with are much bigger than their personal problems. This realization was also dawned on Caleb in C2, based on Liam’s words in Talks, how he felt the Cognouza thing were bigger than whatever stuff he had going in his personal life, so he set personal plan aside. That’s how it is with Bell’s Hells but it happened much earlier and they didn’t have time to feel offended when their party member revealed they hid something from them. I feel like they depict the real life adults’ interaction when you like certain people but not too familiar with them yet. If you have to bring up your past or problem you make sure to sound like it’s no big deal or that you’re fine now. The breakdowns and conflicts and encouragements will come in trickles like Laudna and Imogen rock fight or Ashton telling Orym they understand how suck it is to be the only sane one in the group. I love it. I wish the trickles will come more often now that their walls are getting eroded by things they faced together.
Also I love how C3’s stakes are higher than previous campaigns but the party is considerably milder. It does make them look more reactive, but it also creates huge potential of how far they will grow. In EXU Calamity, we saw the end of an age through the lens of powerful people, and it was amazing to watch how these people’s sense of duty made them to give their best effort to save the world.
But I personally don’t want another EXUC. I love how insignificant Bell’s Hells are, how they are “footnote in someone else’s epic” yet they are all tangled up in this world-ending conspiracy and had to be the vital key of undoing it. It makes the whole calamity thing feel personal for them because they experienced failure together when half of them killed by Otohan, went to literally another realm to save their friend, then got manipulated to give the enemy the final key for the apocalypse.
I do wish they will now spend more time exploring their own stories first because, unlike with MN who I came to love once I got to know them, I already love BH now I want to get to know them more.
I don’t feel the cameos of previous characters eclipse BH’s importance to the story because this all still feel like a prologue and all it did is making me more excited for what will these little people do to make difference where the big players of the world are failing to.
Side note: I compare them to MN because I haven’t watch C1 fully and, while I have above opinion, I see where people coming from about the stark difference of the previous campaigns and this one.

Finally let myself rewatch a couple of Ted Lasso episodes since the finale -- the best ones imo, Diamond Dogs and Rainbow. Rainbow is just perfectly written, perfectly edited, perfectly performed. Maybe a tiiiiny bit overboard on the cultural references (beyond all the hat tips to romcoms which were sweet, I lol'ed at Ted's random reference to The Shining, what a nice way to be like, danger ahead, friends).
Still very sad about season 3. Still pretty annoyed with BH’s defensiveness. Still aggravated about how the whole Ted/Rebecca thing played out (oh, the textual waste! the waste will always be hard to watch), but at this point, my frustration about how they did Roy Kent wrong almost eclipses that. Damn.
But I'm glad that I've come to terms with TL enough to go back to my fave eps and remind myself why I thought the show was so excellent in the first place. Has the healing begun?

I find that I fall in and out of love with my old work. Just so happens that I fell back in love recently. Prolly has nothing to do with that 2k essay due soon.
That is to say, I had fun writing this half of the chapter. Been out of the fandom a while, but recently started reading some fics again, and it's here I realised that my adaption of BH!Eclipse is a little lacking.
Compared to the likes of his Mob Boss counterpart, he's lacking the edge, the stage presence and the invasive possessiveness everyone loves him for. It got me to reassess his motives and drive, as well as what to tweak to properly illustrate his urgency.
It's been an interesting little thought experiment, and I hope that going forward I can do him justice.

Aaaa idk if anything like this has been asked before! (Sorry if it has!) I've seen it for apex polarity but I'm unsure if it's been asked in relation to the SJ eclipses but how would they react to the vigilante being really sick? (Like with a bad cold or the Like) Like they're all grabby about to GET them and they're just, standing there sniffling like a pathetic wet dog not giving any of their usual sass (Def not asking this BC I'm really sick rn fhchbgj)
By multiple SJ Eclipses, I assume you're talking about the OG and the Bounty Hunter.
The vigilante would still give out their usual charm while battling a terrible cold, just with a stuffy sound and lots of sniffling. They're constantly trying to not get snot everywhere and ugh, those darn chills and fever coming in waves! They don't stop fighting gangs and criminals but man is it annoying to shoot a gun when you have to sneeze.
For Mafia Boss Eclipse, he sees the vigilante as not their best, and he sees an opportunity. He tells them how much he'll enjoy nursing them back to health, back to how powerful he knows they can be, they just need to stop resisting (though it does color them in bruises, so he's not that upset) and let him carry them back to a special hideout he's prepared all for them. The vigilante is, of course, not signing up for that with his sharp grin and intensity already trying to overwhelm them when they're feeling feeble. So, they make a quick escape and cut back to the detectives' apartment. Sun and Moon will take care of the rest (with chastising thrown in for good measure).
With Bounty Hunter Eclipse, he's angry when he sees them out in the streets and riling up dangerous enemies while visibly shaking from cold chills. He practically throws the vigilante over his shoulder when he finally nabs them. Though the vigilante protests, he's ripping them a new one for being so stupid while they're sick. Can't they give it a rest for a couple of days? The vigilante shoots with some snide and cheeky remarks before realizing that Eclipse has brought them to the detectives' apartment. Eclipse never knew how to tend to sickness, not like his brothers, but what he does know is that Sun and Moon will fix the vigilante up just right. For now, he'll stand guard and make sure the vigilante doesn't move or even think about getting back to their usual business.
