The end of Scorch Trials is the most confusing thing in Maze Runner. Like what do you mean Brenda can also telepathically talk too? Was it real or a hallucination? If it was real why did they never bring it up again?

i never totally understood the "lost in the forest with a man or a bear" thing. people were getting mad when anyone said bear, but if i'm lost in the woods, then there are already bears out there. why add the variable of a strange man on top of the bears? what's one more bear in the scheme of things.

or is the premise supposed to be whichever one you pick would be right next to you? because then that depends on what kind of bear. the problem with these hypotheticals is that they never give me enough information. how am i supposed to play in this space!!

Every single time I rewatch npmd I pick a new character to project onto and make aroace lol. First watch was Jason, second was Richie and third time around was Stacy. Partially because she just has The Vibe (to me anyway) but also because of way overthinking the line: “yeah, money isn’t everything. Looks are!” Maybe she doesn’t feel romantic and sexual attraction but she does feel aesthetic attraction so she just assumes that people date each other because they find each other pretty. Maybe she said it to try and blend in because all of her friends are hung up on looks and always talking about how hot people are and she doesn’t want to be the odd one out. And then the way she gets way more excited/invested talking about the big game coming up than anything else in the conversation and so excited to show Steph their new cheer. It’s almost as if she doesn’t quite understand why being stood up would be so upsetting for Steph because she doesn’t want anyone to take her to Pasqualli’s, she just wants to cheer and have fun with her friends and vibe. Also her and Brenda have had one fight in their whole friendship and it was because she didn’t get why it was such a big deal that Max wouldn’t let her date Kyle. They made up and she admitted she doesn’t like anyone like that and Brenda was just like “okay, cool” and she was so relieved her bestie doesn’t think she’s weird for it.

Women's Day Brunch

"Ain't it a bit early for that Bo?"

Ellen asks light heartedly as Bo unwraps his burger, he just gives a smile and digs in.

"Not on Women's Day!"

Kat says and grabs a few of Bo's fries, dosen't even bother chewing them before swallowing.

"Kat! We talked about the fry theft!"

"Let me guess that's excussable on Women's Day as well?"

Inyo cuts in, quietly stirring her cup of unsweetened coffee.

"You guessed it!"

İs the only response she gets before one of her cookies is swiped away. Inyo sends her a look that's supposed to be a glare but it misses the point when she's smiling.

"Jokes on you i don't even like cookies."

"Lies everyone likes cookies!"

Lena pokes Bo lightly on his side and leans in to whisper.

"Never thought i'd be having brunch with a burgular, an astronot, an İnyo, a chopper pilot and some e-girl-esque martial arts master from China!"

Bo cowers his mouth to stop his snickering and says.

"That's just women! Everywhere and anywhere doing anything and everything!"

Then he takes a moment.

"What about Brenda though?"

"Oh i meet her every weekend for brunch, we go way back."

As the arguing, the theft and the happy conversation on the table continues Bo takes another bite of his burger and thinks about how nice it is that women are y'know women rissing above the challenge, smashing sociatal expectations and all while looking amazing, he smiled to himself as Kat leans in to taunt İnyo under Brenda's worries gaze, it really was a good idea to have brunch.
