What I don't think I've said before is that my agency is a law enforcement agency and we do similar investigations to this
I work on the side of law firms coming in to do internal investigations - particularly in the UK. You obviously know what you’re talking about, but I just want to reaffirm for the anon and other readers that it’ll take months.
Organisations sometimes unknowingly open Pandoras box when they start an investigation like this, because all kinds of misconduct they had not known about must now also be dealt with. That makes the deadlines even more squishy.
Would love to have your take on the national security aspects to the PoW’s diagnosis and continued treatment. I bet H&M is going to want to find out more information too, which fits in nicely on your recent posts around him being a security risk (I’m the Pegasus anon and highly enjoyed them).
Very old ask from March 22nd.
So now knowing that Kate actually did have cancer, was seriously ill, and was also downplaying her diagnosis and condition, that changes my thinking a little.
I do think one of the reasons they've been very careful with Kate's diagnosis and treatment is because of the national security impact. For instance, if Kate's actual treatment was publicly known - she goes to chemo on these days, she's being treated at this hospital, her drugs are X, Y, Z - then a bad actor or a threat can absolutely do some damage. They can taint the medical supply, they can call paparazzi to the hospital, they can sneak cameras into the treatment center, they can stage an emergency that takes resources away from the oncology unit.
If the type of cancer Kate had or the chemo treatment she was undergoing meant she needed to be a on a specific diet and if that was known, then obviously someone could try to send her a tainted gift basket or they have a spoiled product that they give to a known Wales associate (like a Turnip Toff or a Middleton friend) and they pass it on to Kate (which is how Pippa used to merch sometimes, in early Cambridge days) who doesn't suspect anything because that person is cleared by RPOs. And this is something that the BRF is actually concerned about - I read somewhere once that they don't accept food products or food gifts and if any is given to them on walkabout or engagements, it's immediately tossed.
Now let's think about that hack/unauthorized access to Kate's medical files back in March. What could someone do with that information? Well, aside from her diagnosis, her symptoms, her treatment plan, they could learn who her doctors and care team are and go after them - stalk them, harass them, blackmail them, endanger their families, etc. They might also learn where Kate's pharmacy is or other private medical information like maybe if she had any miscarriages, what other medications she might be on, what her allergies are, her parents' medical history, etc. and all of that is something that a bad actor can exploit to their advantage, everything from exposing Kate to her allergen to killing her doctor and assuming their identity to treat her.
Not to mention the fact that anyone who goes through a major operation like Kate did in January and who goes through chemo becomes incredibly immunocompromised. All they have to do is get someone with COVID or a flu or shingles or some other kind of biotoxin or contagious illness next to Kate and her condition worsens.
(Just a quick aside her to remind everyone that someone who's immunocompromised from chemo the way Kate is isn't going to be frolicking in the woods with people who aren't in her bubble. Michael and Carole are in the video because they're in Kate's health bubble. Charles and Camilla aren't in the video because they aren't in Kate's bubble and they're not in Kate's bubble because Charles has his own bubble because he's also immunocompromised from his own cancer and his own treatment and no one wants to risk Charles or Kate getting worse because of something "crossing over" from one person's treatment into the other's.)
And what happens if you take Kate out of the picture? We're not killing her here - we're just saying she becomes incapacitated or sidelined in some way. But take Kate out of the picture, now all of a sudden you have the entire future of the monarchy at risk. William becomes vulnerable. George becomes vulnerable. Charlotte and Louis become vulnerable. We're not talking about their physical security or their physical well-being here; we're talking about their mental and emotional health and as we've seen in Harry, that -- in the hands of the wrong person -- becomes incredibly dangerous. And since William is the next king and George the future king, that 100% is a matter of national security.
It is all farfetched, it does sound Bondian, but that's what national security is. It's considering every single possibility that could happen, assessing how likely it could happen and what kind of impact would come from it happening, and mitigating as much of that as possible.
So how do you mitigate the threat to national security posed by Kate's health crisis? You don't tell anyone the specifics. You keep it private. You downplay it to the best of your abilities.
Now, specific to the Sussexes, and why William and Kate (or even the RPOs or even the BRF) wouldn't want them to know the whole truth of her condition and health, it's absolutely all the shadiness that the Sussexes are involved with. There's rumors of Russian support. We know they have microphones and Netflix cameras with them all the time. We know that the Sussexes are boundary-stomping privacy invaders who blab about every tiny morsel of information they get - or don't get. We know that the Sussexes want to be King and Queen of people's hearts, King and Queen of culture, and the actual King and Queen of the UK, the realms, and the Commonwealth.
If something happens to Kate, then Harry and Meghan aren't even waiting in the wings; they're already running on stage with their plastic crowns. And I think they know that, because without Kate, William's attention turns 100% to the children, which leaves an opening for Charles to bring Harry back and we know that Harry won't come back without Meghan. So if Harry and Meghan are both back, then they become even bigger red flags to the monarchy and the BRF because they're also bringing the damage of the last 5 years - grudges from 2018/2019, the alleged Russian supporters, Oprah, Netflix cameras, Sussex Squad, all their crony kiss-ass reporters, etc. Bad, bad, bad news all around. You might as well turn the Buckingham Palace throne room into a gift shop now because the second Harry and Meghan are back in, they're selling the monachy to the highest bidder - but will it be Oprah? Will it be Netflix? Will it be any Russians? Will it be Nacho? Will it be QVC and the Home Shopping Network? Will it be Penguin Random House?
So not telling Harry and Meghan anything about what Kate's doing isn't just national security best practices; it's complete and total self-preservation of the monarchy for George. Because if Meghan was able to do that to Harry, imagine what she and Harry can both do to William and George together when William and George's world has been totally rocked and shattered.
Edit: added some clarification. I mention COVID here as an example of someone with an illness who could seriously worsen an immunocompromised person's health. I'm not debating COVID vaccinations, protocols, or precautions and any more comments/replies about COVID will be removed.

Mycotoxin Testing
Tumblr media
Mycotoxins (aka mold) is a particularly poignant topic for all of us who live in the rainy Pacific Northwest. Mold is of particular concern in regards to health because it is often an underlying piece of the puzzle, one that we can’t quite put our finger on until we have been addressing other aspects of health for quite a while. Mold can inhibit our immune surveillance, it can coexist in many cases of chronic GI dysfunction, it is problematic in adrenal and hormone dysregulation, a piece with chronic allergies, and so many other health concerns.
We have written on this topic in the past with some tips on ways to support one’s health through diet and glutathione supplementation. This month, we wanted to cover some of our most commonly asked questions about exposures, remediation, and long term health impacts. Patients can get nervous when we bring up mycotoxins because of the serious health implications. However, not everyone who has been exposed has issues. It often ends up being much more about your overall health terrain than specific exposure. Mold exposure cannot be completely avoided, so watching for early warning signs can save you years of frustration, trying to figure out the root cause of your health concerns.
One simple way to test for toxin presence, is to do the visual screening test through the Surviving Mold website. The cost is $15 and can easily be done in the comfort of your own home. This test is assessing your body’s ability to perceive visual contrast, which is compromised with mycotoxin or biotoxin related illnesses. If you “fail” the screening test, this indicates you have mold concerns. The test helps direct next steps (i.e. further analysis through urine testing) and can be used to track response to treatment protocols.
If you can see visible mold in your home, along window sills, under sinks, embedded in the bathroom tile, for example, then you definitely need to clean up and remove those spots. Even if mold is not visible to the naked eye, it still can be present and causing problems. There are several ways to assess if non-visible mold is growing in your home. One way that has been used for years is by placing petri dishes in various parts of your house and seeing what settles out. While I wish this was the best way to identify indoor mold spores, it has been shown to be very inaccurate. This test can be helpful to identify contamination to soft surfaces like your vehicle or your furniture, but it does not accurately assess the environment.
The other indoor testing options are through an ERMI or an EMMA test. The ERMI test is limited to mold species themselves, while the EMMA test also assesses mycotoxins in the environment which can be a very critical piece of the health picture. You can order an ERMI test through Mycometrics. The EMMA test is done through Real Time Labs. Both tests come to you for testing. This will be an important test to have when you move onto the remediation step, as a contractor will likely want to know what they’re dealing with.
Remediation is an important step to removing exposure and helping you on the path to recovery. This starts with removing any obvious mold with products that are known to kill spores (hint bleach is not one!). You can use 50/50 vinegar/water solution, any natural cleaning products that contain thymol, or ammonia “409″. We also recommend connecting with a professional contractor who is familiar with the process of home remediation, such as Kester Clear Environmental Solutions. Note, it is important to use a remediator that is also not your tester to avoid conflict of interest.
These tips will help you learn what to do to reduce your overall exposure to mold and get you back to feeling your healthiest self. If you’re concerned about mold exposure, symptoms of mycotoxins, or water damage in your home and the health related implications, please come talk with one of our providers to discuss further.

Mold Toxicity: A Common Cause of Psychiatric Symptoms
Could your depression, anxiety, brain fog and insomnia be due to mold toxicity?
Posted Aug 03, 2017                                       Reviewed by Kaja Perina
Toxic mold based illness is a very prevalent and under diagnosed condition that can manifest in many different ways, including with symptoms that are exclusively psychiatric, such as depression, anxiety, attentional problems, brain fog and insomnia. Vulnerability to mold toxicity is only present in 25% of the population, who in most cases, have a genetic predisposition which inhibits their clearance of biotoxins.  A family can all be living in the same house with mold growth, but only one family member will become ill. This is because that person is the only one with the genetic vulnerability.
Mold growth is initiated through water damage. Due to common building practices of using Drywall or Sheetrock, which was not a construction material used in the past, more people are now being exposed to toxic mold, as Drywall is a great medium for mold growth. In addition, the current practice of making homes more energy efficient, means that there is less ventilation with outside air, and toxic mold gasses can be trapped inside, potentiating their effect.
Mold toxins can accumulate in the body, continuing to wreak havoc long after exposure ceases and require an extended course of treatment. But for everyone, the first and most crucial step in treatment, is to identify where the mold is located and to get away from it.
There are companies that specialize in mold testing and others that offer mold remediation. It is advisable to use different companies for testing and remediation, though some companies do offer both, in order to avoid a conflict of interest.
A more cost effective means of testing is with mold growth plates, which can be purchased from a company called ImmunoLytics. The plates are set out around the house and later collected and sent to the laboratory for analysis. In addition, there is a laboratory test that can identify mycotoxins in the urine.
Mold allergies and mold toxicity are not the same illness. Mold allergies are due to mold spores that are inhaled and cause hay fever like symptoms. This is different than toxic mold, which is due to the volatile toxic vapors produced by mold that can cause a chronic inflammatory response, (CIRS), an auto-immune reaction caused by poor clearance of bio toxins in vulnerable individuals.
Mold toxicity can manifest with so many different and diverse symptoms, that it is frequently misdiagnosed. It is likely that some cases of chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, mast cell activation disorder, histamine intolerance, irritable bowel and leaky gut, multiple sclerosis and post-treatment Lyme syndrome, which do not respond to treatment, are due to a chronic inflammatory response caused by toxic mold. Unfortunately mold toxicity is not on the radar of many practitioners, and thus they do not include it as part of the differential diagnosis.
Some of the common symptoms of toxic mold and CIRS are:
1. Fatigue
2. Weakness
3. Aches
4. Muscle Cramps
5. Unusual Pain
6. Ice Pick Pain
7. Headache
8. Light Sensitivity
9. Red Eyes
10. Blurred Vision
11. Tearing
12. Sinus Problems
13. Cough
14. Shortness of Breath
15. Abdominal Pain
16. Diarrhea
17. Joint Pain
18. Morning Stiffness
19. Memory Issues
20. Focus/Concentration Issues
21. Word Recollection Issues
22. Decreased Learning of New Knowledge
23. Confusion
24. Disorientation
25. Skin Sensitivity
26. Mood Swings
27. Appetite Swings
28. Sweats (especially night sweats)
29. Temperature Regulation or Dysregulation Problems
30. Excessive Thirst
31. Increased Urination
32. Static Shocks
33. Numbness
34. Tingling
35. Vertigo
36. Metallic Taste
37. Tremors
The good news is that once the diagnosis is made, this is a very treatable condition. It  can take a long time because it must be done very carefully and slowly, or symptoms can be exacerbated by the treatment itself, as the mold toxins are mobilized.  Some treatment approaches first make use of natural binders such as charcoal and clay, which trap the mycotoxins and permit them to be excreted, as well as probiotics such as Saccromyces Boulardi. The second phase of treatment is anti-fungals. A concise and excellent e-book on the subject is Mold and Mycotoxins: Diagnosis and Treatment 2016 by Neil Nathan, MD, a holistic practitioner with a practice in California, who specializes in treating mysterious and chronic illnesses.

Mold in Apartment? Your Symptoms Could be from Exposure to Mold
Mold In Apartment
Moving day in West LA. My last day in an apartment I had called home for over three years. I had everything packed, cleaned, and ready to go!
Just one more thing I needed to do before leaving: A walk-through of the apartment with the landlord.
He started the inspection and everything was looking great. I was about to get my whole security deposit back! He stopped in the hallway though. He opened up a closet (I rarely ever opened) that stored the water-heater. Water was leaking out of the heater, causing rust. The paint on the wall was ‘puffed up’, usually an indicator of mold growing underneath.
On my last day in that apartment, I discovered a serious mold issue. For most of my time there, I had been living with mold.
The landlord was gracious and did not knock anything off my security deposit. The leak in the water-heater was small. He said he was renovating the unit anyway.
This was not the first time I had found mold in that apartment though. Walls, ceilings, clothing stored away long-term, all had mold at one time.
This may explain some of the health conditions and symptoms I experienced during my time in that apartment. My exposure to mold in apartments has been a wake-up call. I have learned so much and want to share with you ways to address this problem.
Mold in apartment units is common in areas of the United States with high humidity or rain. The US South and Pacific Northwest experience mold problems on a regular basis. Many older apartment buildings were built in a way and with materials that make them susceptible to mold.
The apartment I was living at in West LA is made mostly of concrete and was built in the 1950s. The back corners of the two-bedroom apartment received very little sunshine and airflow. The stagnant air and coastal moisture of West Los Angeles allowed preferable conditions for mold and mildew growth.
If there is mold growing in your apartment this means there is excess moisture. Mold and mildew need a damp environment to grow. You need to be aware of every corner of your living space. Even hard-to-reach and out-of-sight nooks and crannies. These areas are where mold generally grows best. Dark and moist, with minimal airflow.
Mold and other microbes common in apartment buildings can have adverse effects on your health. Mild to severe symptoms can appear from mold exposure. These health effects are largely reactions to toxins the mold or bacteria create as a biological function. Microbes make these toxins for their protection, but we humans can be greatly irritated by their presence.
Mold In Apartment Symptoms
The symptoms of mold in an apartment are varied and many. Many of these symptoms may be caused by other environmental factors - pollution, seasonal allergies, and stress.
Many people discover their mold allergy by eliminating other causes of symptoms. Upon ruling out any other cause for their symptoms, one can determine if they may be from exposure to mold in an apartment.
Many people who experience mold in their apartment report these symptoms:
Chronic sinus congestion. Coughing. Shortness of breath.
Skin irritation. From itching to rash.
Fatigue. Weakness. Drowsiness. Low energy.
Muscle aches. Cramps. Unusual shooting pains.
Cognitive impairment. Confusion. Memory loss. ’Brain fog’. Trouble concentration and speech.
Strong Headaches. Often confused with a migraine.
Sensitivity to bright light. Tearing and watery eyes. Blurred vision. Redness in and around eyes.
Abdominal pain, sensitive stomach, diarrhea.
Joint pain. Stiffness.
Mood swings. Appetite swings. Sweats, often at night. Temperature regulation.
Numbness. Body tingling,
Excessive thirst. Frequent urination. Sensitivity to static.
In my experience, at the apartment in West LA, I had the following symptoms:
Trouble concentrating and staying focused on tasks.
Fatigue and drowsiness.
Shooting pains in legs or arms.
Mold, mildew, and bacteria can cause illness on their own, but many also contain toxic chemicals. These biological chemicals they make naturally can have adverse side effects on human health. Not only to our body but our minds.
These are the various types of toxins mold and mildew may contain:
Mycotoxins. Toxins produced by fungi and mold. Allergic reactions, trouble breathing, drowsiness are caused by mycotoxins.
Neurotoxins. Toxins that have an effect on mental function. Confusion, headaches, hallucinations have been some of the symptoms reported from neurotoxins.
Biotoxins. A general term for any toxin created by biological organisms.
‘Microtoxins’. A new term I see more and more. Refers to any microbe toxin created by microscopic or ‘invisible’ organisms.
Areas to Check for Mold in Apartments
Mold can appear anywhere in an apartment. Many molds and mildews can be detected by the classic ‘musty smell’ from old homes or by thorough cleaning to uncover mold problem areas.
The main areas of concern for mold in apartments are as follows:
Windows. Especially during rain or high humidity. Condensation is perfect for mold and mildew growth. Keep windows and window sills clean and dry.
Sinks and drawers. Particularly below and under sinks and drawers. Areas of moisture, low airflow, and low light are suitable for molds.
Closets and storage. Dark and minimal airflow make closets a comfortable spot for mold and mildew. Clothing fibers are a food source and a good substrate for growth.
Bathrooms. Due to the presence of water, showers, tiles, grout lines, and curtains are perfect homes for mold. Ceilings of bathrooms tend to grow mold from excess moisture as well.
Leaking Ceiling in Apartment. In lower and ground floor apartment units, water leaking from the ceiling can be an opportunity for mold to thrive. Keep an eye out for excess moisture, discoloration, staining, and ‘puffiness’ that indicates mold growth.
The type of mold you find in your home will determine the severity of health concerns. For example, black mold is well-known for being poisonous and should be addressed with urgency. Others may just give off unpleasant odors or create unsightly stains.
There are countless types of mold. You need to know about the major types of mold in homes. These are the most common types of mold in apartment units:
Stachybotrys ‘Black Mold’
Aspergillus
Chaetomium
Penicillin
Cladosporium
Acremonium
Fusarium
Trichoderma
Ulocladium
To accurately identify mold in your apartment or home, a professional inspection is the best way to know. I am no biologist or doctor, so my advice is just that: advice. Please contact a local specialist to get the best counsel for your situation.
Tenants Rights / Landlord Responsibility for Mold in Apartment
There are laws, at least here in California, that protect tenants from mold in apartments. In California, landlords must follow an ‘implied warranty of habitability. This requires them to provide livable conditions to tenants. California also has a mold disclosure requirement landlords need to follow if their units meet unsafe levels. When deemed uninhabitable due to an outstanding mold problem, tenants may take several courses of action.
Withhold Rent Payments. By claiming the apartment unit is uninhabitable due to mold, tenants in California may be protected from legal actions by landlords for refusing to pay rent.
Repair and Deduct from Rent. Repairing the conditions yourself and taking the expenses of the repairs out of your rent.
If you choose to pursue any of these actions to address a mold issue, I recommend you seek legal counsel beforehand. Laws vary state by state, even city by city.
Mold in your apartment? You need to take action
If you have found mold in your apartment, do not panic. There are steps you can take to protect yourself. Ultimately, you have a few options to address the issue of mold in your apartment.
Know Your Rights. You will save a lot of time and headache knowing what you are responsible for and what your landlord needs to do to address mold in an apartment.
Seek Professional Help. For inspection, cleaning, and remediation, an expert is hands down the best way to address any mold issue. For legal advice and handling landlords, a lawyer is the option to navigate the legal issues. Professional experts will be able to help you make the best decision for your situation.
Do-It-Yourself. Do what you can to clean and prevent mold in your apartment. Preventing mold before it appears will save you a lot of time, work, and money. Communication and talking to your landlord about the issue are essential, even if your landlord does not help solve the issue. But chances are they will help address the issue. So let them know as soon as you know.
Move Out. Find another home without mold. This is not always the easiest option. But when a mold issue is too large to address or a landlord is refusing to help, moving may be the quickest solution to the problem.
As I have moved out of that apartment, I have noticed a change in my symptoms. I do have less brain fog and I feel more clearheaded day to day. I now live in an area with more fresh air and natural light.
I have gained a newfound awareness of mold and mycotoxins. For any apartment I live in or home I buy, I will always keep my eyes peeled for mold problems. If you find an apartment that has mold issues, assess whether it is worth the cost on your health and well-being.
For some parts of the US, mold is inevitable. This does not mean you should ignore the problem and take measures to mitigate and prevent mold.
Hope this was informative and helpful. Please contact me for more info. I’m happy to share any local resources I have accumulated and educational resources to learn about mold and microbes.
Thank you!

Pilot whales turned up again on a Georgia beach. 16 of them died
Jay Croft - September 28, 2019
About 26 whales beached this week in Georgia -- and 16 of them died -- in the second mass stranding this year in the state, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources said. The short-finned pilot whales were stranded Wednesday on or near St. Catherines Island south of Savannah, the department said in a news release. It's unknown why whales beach themselves. This species is the most common to mass-strand in the southeastern US, the DNR said.
Necropsies (animal autopsies) are being performed on the carcasses to try to determine why the whales ended up on the beach.Whales are highly social and travel in pods."They are highly cohesive animals, and when one is sick or ill, others may stay close by, even if it means coming to shore and becoming sick, debilitated or stranded themselves," the state DNR says.Other possibilities for strandings include biotoxins, underwater noise, tides and extreme weather, DNR says. This week's stranding is "clearly not related to" a capsized freighter in St. Simons Sound , more than 30 miles away, DNR senior wildlife biologist Clay George said.In July, dozens of beachgoers stepped in to help at least 47 pilot whales beached on south Georgia's St. Simons Island. No cause for that mass stranding was determined, DNR said, and it's unknown if any of the same whales were at St. Catherines this week.
St. Catherines is privately owned and not open to the public.Short-finned pilot whales can weigh more than 3 tons and reach 24 feet in length.
