WE NEED A VALENTINES HC of birb and what would they be like? would birb make wednesday a knife or something ( to replace the many she has stolen from her) would they be valentines or palentines cause they tottaly dont have feelings for eachother and totally arent dating :)

They would be the most romantic palentines on the planet because they're USELESS

But Wednesday does reluctantly agree to be Birb's palentine "but no gifts" and Birb is like "yeah obviously, I'm not an idiot" while she's in the process of getting a bunch of gifts

She goes all out, she gets the dark chocolates, finds a new knife (no one would help her make one), and steals gathers all the black flowers from the greenhouse and makes a whole bouquet and everything. Like, this sweet girl just spends so much time

And honestly, Wednesday secretly does the same. She steals ideas from Enid, Divina, and Yoko to know what Birb likes, and comes up with a nice little gift basket

On Valentine's day, Birb invites Wednesday over to watch a movie and see they both have gifts and it's like the spiderman meme where they're both pointing at each other like ":o"

Wednesday would never in a million years, under torture, admit that she thought it was really sweet and a nice day. Scary movies, dark chocolates, her favourite flowers, her favourite person most tolerable acquaintance. It's actually not a miserable day, surprisingly

And Birb is just beyond ecstatic that she gets to spend the day with Wednesday without any interruptions, they just get to be together and maybe, if she's lucky, Wednesday will even cuddle with her

I fully understand why most ddlc fanfics get rid of MC (hell, even ddlc did it for the side stories lol) but hear me out:

Wingman MC

- Amazing wingman either for Sayori or for anyone with a crush on Sayori

- Helps Monika figure out what to give Sayori as a gift, helps Sayori with the little bit he found out about Monika during that class they shared, etc.

- Baking partner for Natsuki if she’s making treats for anyone in particular

- At least kind of good at stopping arguments between Yuri and Natsuki, and maybe helps them realize they have a crush on each other or something?

- He basically just acts as a neutral party, not crushing on anyone in the club and just kind of chilling

speaking of Cold having impulsive thoughts and not intrusive ones– as he is in the construct, I don't think Cold ever had any intrusive thoughts, since he genuinely considers every thought that enters his head as interesting enough to try it out at least once

But I do think in an 'out of the construct' scenario, he'd develop intrusive thoughts. And because they're very similar to the impulsive thoughts he already had ("what if I stabbed this person on the heart?" except the thought actually perturbs him now instead of seeming mildly interesting), he'd struggle with seperating them from his actual wants, just adding to his self-image of being an irredeemable and terrible person that everyone is right to be afraid of.

Gods, that is the question!

For HC 10 I have been watching as many POVs as I can, and I love all of them because each hermit is so individual but together they work so well! Also a lot of my headcannons are based on how I design them as well.

I love Grian so much, I got into Hermitcraft through him, so he is my special little guy. I like making him a bit Eldrich, either by dipping into his watcher origins or as a nature deity (him being claimed by mycelium and later ocean).

Pearl has been close to my heart since the Boatem days. I love the environmental storytelling she puts in her builds, and her eagerness to lean into a character. I love the skyblings so much too, because dynamics are all there in the cannon, you don't even need to stretch it.

Cleo's dry and mature humour kills me every time. They are so good with it! I imagine Cleo being able to create new living forms, with her armourstand work, She can assemble creatures and bring life to them. I love making her a bit necromantic :D

My favourite headcanon of them all is probably that c!Hermitcraft is like a space to contain the most powerful, uncontrollable and volatile people, so they wouldn't be able to wreak havoc anywhere else. Because, ya know, the best prison is the one you do not want to leave xd

Just the Roomies post-death talking about who they think will win. The bird occasionally chimes in a chirp they somehow understand. He just kind of showed up one day and squawked outside the base until they let him in. He's been part of the family ever since.

Canon, you say? Absolutely I can, these are just gonna be randomly scattered throughout the timeline

Wednesday is the one who finally convinces Birb to go to therapy. Everyone expected it to be Weems, but Wednesday insists in a very non-Wednesday way, and it's impossible to say no to. Deep down, it's the one thing Wednesday is most proud of because it honestly saved Birb's life

They host dinners in college and outside of college all the time. Wednesday is not allowed to help cook, but she makes a surprisingly good hostess. It's just a really good bonding time for them, the cooking before and the cleaning up after

Date nights in college almost always consist of one of two things: murder solving or picnics. Wednesday (of course) picks murder solving, and they get those "To Hunt A Killer" things to always have a new case to work on, complete with cheap beer and takeout. Birb chooses the picnics that are in botanical gardens, butterfly gardens, or anything like that

Whenever Wednesday finishes another novel, Birb binds the original manuscript and has the siblings paint the cover/leave notes on the inside. But on that note, Birb has also never read any of the manuscripts. Back at Nevermore she had promised she wouldn't, and she keeps it. Wednesday eventually decides to just read them aloud; it's technically not breaking the promise

Birb always sits on Wednesday's left side. It gives them the chance to hold hands while still having their dominant hand available to write or work

Whenever Wednesday finally starts using a phone, she uses it almost exclusively to complain when Birb isn't around. But it's not "I miss you" but more like "the birds are back. Not that you would know, since you're not here"

Speaking of phones, Birb has a horrible sense of humour. She waits until Wednesday is out or busy and then sends things that she KNOWS will make Wednesday flustered or blush. She just thinks it's fun :)

They paint each other's nails every other weekend. They turn it into a date night with murder mysteries on YouTube, fancy wine, and occasionally face masks

Bird nerd Bet tech back on the BS again! So EnderKing ( hence forth referred to as Pookie. , no respect for that guy.) screwed up Philza’s wings. Now as someone who knows a little bit about bird anatomy can tell you, he kinda made a few mistakes if he wanted maximum damage. I mean we don’t know exactly how much damage but it kinda looked like he raked inter dimensional claws through the wings, like he was whispering in Philza’s ear grabbing him by the shoulders and then , rip! Claw the birdy! Lots of long narrow lacerations running along the length of the wing. Not the direction to slice if you want a good shot at irreparable damage. This comes down to how the majority of the wing muscles run parallel to bones. You want to screw up a muscle permanently? Cut across the muscle not along the length, make sure to get completely through the whole muscle belly. That way the two pieces contract away from each other prevent any pulling action. Heck cut at the bone attachment point of the tendon and that gets the same result, potentially just as hard to repair surgically. If you don’t get the full depth the muscle can still work but very poorly and painfully. The other issue is that the majority of power for flight is driven by large muscle groups on the chest in birds and likely Philza to. I think Philza implied it was pieces of flesh and bone warped away from his body ( as well as barbs and feathers, looking at that first large primary feather, didn’t get the shaft even, sloppy work Pookie), which might actually speed up healing, less dead tissue to deconstruct before starting to regenerate. Philza would have his wings immobilized and bandaged/in a cast for months at a time and probably should see a surgeon if possible , that and the muscles most likely trashed beyond repair are for fine adjustments at the wingtips he could potentially glide do short unsteady flights after months / years of physical therapy,
