Here are some of the things I’ve been working on lately. I’ve been really wanting to get back to painting and making things with my hands again. I love my shop! I love the Vintage styling we do for Weddings and events but I realized something recently...I hadn’t spent any time making things or painting. This isn’t entirely true though. I’ve done some custom head pieces for brides and some painting commissions at Christmas but nothing “just because” or for me. I get ideas all the time of things I’d like to do, like painting all the birds and getting back into sculpture. For whatever reason I just haven’t made the time to explore and get back to art making. This is why I joined the @artisanscollectiveparisont . I needed a push, a reason to make again and to be honest I needed a little pressure and a deadline. Doing what you love doesn’t mean doing what is easy. What is easy is to get distracted from the things that can be the most fulfilling.
