A birthday present for my dear Encanto friend, @prophetic-hijinks ! I had SO much fun writing the witty, Bogart-style banter for Bruno’s inner monologue. I’ve always been a sucker for those old black-and-white crime movies. Enjoy!

I am currently working on a short script for an SU comic. I would love to have people see my story, but I have one problem: I CANNOT DRAW TO SAVE MY LIFE!!! (And the fact I have mild anxiety doesn’t help either..) How would I go about asking an artist as talented as you to illustrate my script? Or should I give up now because all artists hate that?

I’m super excited about Mirror Moon, but I’m kind of concerned about how Jack’s character is being changed in media. I read the preview pages and, once again, he’s throwing his responsibilities aside for some crazy idea. And asking Sally to take over while he works on this invention seems…I dunno, irresponsible? I love Jack, but I would rather they not make him out to be someone who doesn’t learn from their mistakes. What do you think? (Apologies in advance?)

When an anon first informed me of the Mirror Moon series, I shared a lot of skepticism with the premise of Jack’s character/actions in this series. I recently read an article about Mirror Moon that said he is having another ‘obsession with the holidays’, except it’ll be more ‘healthy’ this time around, but....there’s no exact way of knowing that unless someone’s read it by now.

I’m not a fan of media adaptions that show Jack still wanting to take over Christmas or other holidays because, to me, it goes against the moral/lesson he learned in the film. I had this feeling with Mirror Moon - why would he want to bring Halloween to the other holidays, when it didn’t work out with Christmas?

The sample pages show Jack asking for Sally’s assistance, which relieves me that he’s reaching out to her for help. But he doesn’t exactly listen to answer her questions, which bothers me. At least the Residents look uneasy with Jack’s idea this time around - I imagine there might be some hesitancy instead of everyone jumping on it like Christmas. (Or, rather, hope so.)

I still hold skepticism to this point, but #3′s summary + cover intrigued me!! Apparently there will be a Sally clone that’s working alongside Jack, and may have something to do with his ‘project’? I am especially curious how the Vampire Brothers will play a part in this story(and if their lack of reflections will be plot-relevant) & what exactly a broken mirror means on the graphic novel’s cover.

But, you’re completely right! I don’t have extremely high expectations for when I receive my Issues; I think the premise of the Long Live the Pumpkin Queen novel is more exciting, because at least Jack isn’t trying to mix up holidays again or make brash decisions in there. In the end, it’s still new content that will come before July 2022 - and I’ll be sure to leave my review and what I think once I receive my Issues.

I actually told them bedtime stories every now and them before that, yes..! Especially Dolores loved to hear them and she'd always beg me to tell more, she could have stayed up the entire night listening to my stories

Hey, I saw your post about the unproduced shows on Disney channel and saw the Captain Neo thing. I’m pretty certain that show will never see the light of day due to the “documentary” Leaving Neverland,” but do you have an info on it? Like characters, plots, etc.? I tried googling it but couldn’t find anything. Thanks!

The Show was created by Joe Pitt (Gravity Falls) it was shelved BEFORE that documentary was published, sadly he deleted his post on Instagram but he never explained in his post what the show was about or the characters, maybe due the Leaving Neverland controversy??? but i don’t want to put words on his mouth, so he deleted it for reasons.
