Over the years we’ve sampled an increasing number of independent bottles. Clearly Gordon & MacPhail then Signatory are the ones we most readily come across, however every once and awhile we manage to stumble across a whisky from Blackadder.

Blackadder is known to focus on bottling a single cask, predominantly at cask strength. This particular bottle of Bunnahabhain is from their Raw Cask brand.

#latergram to last nights #instadram as I enjoyed almost the last of my 28 year old #blackadder Blairfindy, and some #smws 26 year old #scotchwhisky after a busy but productive week. I really love #blackadderwhisky, the raw cask just adds that little extra flavor that you don’t often get and a reminder of what time and a #whisky barrel do to make #scotch amazing. This is my go to spot for #blackadder, one of my favorite #scotchwhisky. The beef #carpaccio is one of my fave dishes there and my first time trying the Chimera. A very rare example of single cask #Glenfarclas, this Blairfindy is a #singlemalt from the only family owned distillery on #speyside at Marypark, Ballindalloch. This Speyside single malt #scotchwhisky is very rare, with only 166 bottles worldwide and it’s delicious.
