Alright, this is a test.

I'm transmasc however at this point in time I don't plan on taking testosterone. I really only plan on getting top surgery, if I can.

This is because I'm alright with my current body and everything. I also want to embrace my non-binary identity as well.

I am both transmasc and non-binary.

I have like 6 transmasc friends, and more transmasc people that I simply know about. I, myself, am non-binary.

I am here to remind transmasc, non-binary, gender fluid, and others who wear binders to bind safely!

Limit the amount of time you bind, around 6 hours if I'm correct. Any longer gets dangerous.

Do not bind while working out! This includes running, being at the gym, marching, walking a far distance, etc etc!

Get the right sizing! Too small of a binder can damage your body and be painful and tight. It can also restrict breathing.

Don't bind with duct tape, bandages, etc! Duct tape can cause rashes on your skin and just damage it in general. Bandages can get tighter and can be uncomfortable.

If you feel pain or it gets harder to breathe, take off your binder! Don't ignore signs that show that your body is getting tired out from wearing a binder for too long or that your binder is too small.

If you do not wish to wear a binder or cannot obtain a binder, there are ways to hide your chest. The easiest way I can think of is layering clothes or wearing baggy clothes, but it's not the best for places that get hot easily. It's a nice alternative if you live a cold area, however.

I myself don't wear binders as my family are TERFs, but I want to make sure those who are free to express themselves know how to do it safely. Searching up about other ways to hide your chest like the example above is a nice but subtle way to hide your chest if your a bit suspicious about your friends/families opinion on trans/non-binary, etc people, but it's better to be safe than sorry.
