CTS A I Week 11 Connect CTS A to all your other modules (and components)!
CTS A has made a huge difference before I started Lasalle, to where I am now. Each skill has guided me on every module & I am able to make everything else you’re learning more effective. I Studio 1, Critical thinking comes in handy when I analyze what makes my designs unique & meaningful. For Research Framework, CTS A taught me that upon researching & using quotations & picking out trustable sources makes my work more interesting & in depth when submitted. CTS A taught me more on the emotion of type, understanding the moods of every fonts, color theory & placement. It made me think deeper & outside of the box. CTS A also helped me to adopt growth mindset as Hollywood Bling consisted rotoscoping & I had many failed attempts for each frame but having this skill allowed me to think deeper & amend my designs instead of throwing the ideas away. Creativity is the natural ability to come up with something new from raw contextual ideas in an artistic way. (Amistad)
For Craft Workshop, CTS A has taught me to find my creative ways to create my sticker dots, line work, textures & patterns. In this phase, steps involved usually include research, development, assessment, and implementation. (Adam) CTS A made me adopt the idea of having sharp eyes for details for my positive-negative (space, contrast) & Abstraction assignments we have to produce a design that is visually appealing and well-organized. (Amistad)
In Photography, CTS A taught me that experimenting with different angles and settings to find the best shot. Predicting how various elements, such as lighting and movement, will interact in the final image. (Cat)
In Digital Skills & Application, CTS A taught me to be more open on learning new softwares & create my ideas from sources & research, into a digital art. It has made me adopt the idea of accepting the challenge, sharpening my skills & tackle my challenges in every software like Photoshop, Indesign & Illustrator to create a well detailed & well researched designs.

CTS A | Week 12 Compulsory Question 3
Critical Thinking Skills A (CTS-A) is a module that can be applied throughout our lifetime. Currently, during my schooling days, I feel that I can collaborate and make connections with people aside from Design for Communications and Experiences. By collaborating with courses like Diploma in Broadcast Media, we can help with the communication aspect in their films. For example, we could do a project involving both disciplines where Design for Communications and Experiences designs the poster design for Broadcast Media’s films.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
(Iron Man movie poster which I really find interesting due to its composition and how there is “hierarchy” in the design. Comparing to “THE BLING RING”, Iron Man’s poster has more contrast in terms of hierarchy when it comes to text size and fonts. Therefore, when working with Broadcast Media, we can advise them on how we could help with the layout of the poster.)
Professionally, CTSA can play an important role in my future endeavours. After graduating from LASALLE, I plan to “lean” towards Graphic Design and Type Design. Personally, I feel that CTSA plays an important role in my career as a Graphic Designer as CTSA teaches us the skills required to think critically and think from different perspectives. This skill can be applied to my job as a Graphic Designer as I would be able to effectively conceptualise ideas to effectively communicate to the consumer. As a Type Designer, I can also apply the aspect of thinking critically by organising my layouts and fonts to suit the consumer’s preferences. However, other than CTSA’s direct impact on ourselves, we can also apply the skills learnt to help others in need and benefit the community around us. Some people around us are not as fortunate to live normal lives, design can be used as a platform  to help better their lives by introducing design to aid in their recovery which will further encourage inclusivity in our society.
For example, we can work with organisations such as SG Enable, Yellow Ribbon and Hope Worldwide Singapore. Collaborations with these organisations can be done by hosting events such as design workshops.
Tumblr media
For instance, we can host a design workshop where LASALLE students engage students with disabilities where we can cater to their needs such as people who are visually impaired. Touch and texture can be introduced to these students to further their exploration in design. The image above shows persons with disabilities in SG Enable creating artworks for the National Day Parade (NDP) Pack in 2023.
Furthermore, we can host a portfolio workshop with students and alumni of LASALLE. Students can give back to the community by engaging with ex-offenders to help further develop their understanding of design. This programme would be a great addition to the “Lifelong Learning and Skills Development” scheme from Yellow Ribbon as ex-offenders are given the chance to pursue a design career.

Summative Assessment Compulsory Question 2: Connect CTS A to all your other modules (and components)
Common Module - AY24.25 CTS A --------------------------------------------------------------
A common pattern across all the modules is the emphasis on collaborative effort. Each module includes at least one group project that requires us to work together to brainstorm and complete the assigned tasks. For example, in Weeks 5 and 6 of the studio module (Hollywood Bling, Data Space), we are asked to collaborate on a music video and hierarchical classification. This is where the collaborative skills from Week 2 come into play.
Like the other modules, most of the CTS-A topics encourage us to approach our work in new ways—ways that help us convey emotion and better understand our internal thoughts. Concepts such as mindfulness and emotional intelligence are key examples. One particular topic I found especially useful in the studio module was "Digital Media: Documentation for Art Practice." It provided me with practical methods to source and cite the various references needed for my CPJ, ensuring I avoided plagiarism and gave proper credit to the original sources.
Even in group activities, I noticed many connections between CTS-A and the other modules. For instance, being open to change and striving for better communication are key aspects that apply across the board. In courses like Craft and Photography—both technical subjects that require skill and keen observation—CTS has helped me understand the bigger picture and approach things from a technical perspective. For example, I’ve learned to consider white space and balance, focus on the craft, and ensure I communicate my ideas clearly through visuals. To do this effectively, I first need to organize my thoughts so I can visualize what I want and how I want my final product to look. Looking back, I see that these skills are applicable not only across all my modules but also beyond school.
Being able to organize one's thoughts is a skill that takes practice and patience but ultimately leads to productive and efficient outcomes. I’ve found that brainstorming is much easier when I already have a clear idea of what I want and have outlined each step of the process. -337 words
Tumblr media
-group collaborative effort during the brainstorm, linking all the different key point from each week across all the different modules
various Works done across 2021 and the years which I was studying engineering. I found comfort being able to pursue my passion while being in a completely different field.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Various old works, looking back now, i can see much more room for improvement and different ways i can grow, applying observation and mindfulness into what i do.

Week 11: Connecting CTS A to my other modules
Connecting CTS A to my modules has solidified the role of critical thinking in my design journey.
In Studio, CTS A’s structured analysis has enhanced my visual thinking approach, allowing me to create marks and images that are expressive and contextually relevant. Research frameworks in Studio that consider multiple perspectives and question assumptions have changed my approach to using quotations and sources effectively, enriching my research quality (Lai). CTS A’s focus on form and meaning aligns with Typo Sensory, improving my ability to craft typography that resonates emotionally (Lai). CTS A’s emphasis on analyzing relationships between elements has also influenced Type and Language, enhancing my layout skills and visual cohesion (Facione). For Hollywood Bling, applying critical thought has refined my rotoscoping plans and execution with detailed innovation. The Data Space component has especially benefited from CTS A’s systematic research approach, adding depth to my narrative classification (Goleman).
In Craft Workshop under D-CE102, CTS A has guided my mark-making approach, strategically using dots, lines, and patterns for dynamic compositions. A critical lens on color theory has improved my palette choices, making my designs more intentional. Analyzing positive and negative space has sharpened my ability to create balanced work. Abstraction and synthesizing form, color, and text are more impactful due to my capability to deconstruct and rebuild visuals meaningfully (Goleman).
In Photography, CTS A has informed my understanding of composition, making my photos conceptually engaging. Applying principles such as balance and perspective with deeper consideration links intent to outcome, aligning with CTS A’s evaluative approach to storytelling (Lai).
For Digital Skills and Applications, CTS A’s critical thinking habits enhance my use of Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop with structured problem-solving. My rotoscoping and InDesign tasks are approached with clear strategies and adaptability (Schoeberlein and Sheth).

October 16th, 2024 - Arcaea, SDVX EG, IIDX 32
FINALLY!!!! I ACTUALLY GOT IT!!!! FIRST TRY TODAY!!!!! Macrocosmic Modulation (FTR-9+, MAX-20) as FTR PM #200!!!!!!! IT'S OVERRRRR
(afternote: i'm writing this while adjusting the FTR/ETR PM counts of all my posts as of the new update, and having achieved 10 PMs on ETR charts prior to this now makes this retroactively my 200th PM on FTR charts across my entire library . i... honestly don't know how to feel about that . i spent several days planning for and executing the beautiful MAX run on what is now FTR PM #191 (Relentless), so i'm very disappointed that my tribute was nullified because of an update that came 10 months later than it should've... but at the same time, i'm kinda glad the new retroactive FTR PM #200 landed on this of all songs. i absolutely love this song and JAKAZiD, it's one of my favorites in the entire game in both song and chart (besides the buildup with the semi-broken chords), and knowing the history of JAKAZiD and Akira Complex appearing in similar compilation while also being prolific english-speaking artists in the japanese hardcore scene... it feels like conveying the same sentiment and appreciation through a different medium even by accident, and i'm greatly thankful for that. hopefully no wacky retroactive changes occur in the future so i may properly dedicate and immortalized my future achievements to the artists and songs i love... but for now, let's keep working our way up to get closer to the milestones ahead in the first place!)
Tumblr media
but alas, that's not really the most important part of today!!! the REAL cool and important rhythm game news... was that IIDX 32 PINKY CRUSH WAS OUT IN THE US!!! AND I WAS GOING TO PLAY IT FIRST THING RIGHT AFTER UNI!!!!! i even brought along a friend who wanted to play at round 1 w/ me!!! ...though he only really wanted to play SDVX which was across the entire arcade, so i ended up sticking with him and setting some banger scores as consequence. hell, i even got BLACK or WHITE? [EXH-18] as 18 clear #3!!! ...though i thought it'd be way easier than it actually was.... my hubris caught up really quickly .
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
anyway, we were about to go eat, so we stopped by the IIDX cabs when i saw Pinky Crush in its absolute beauty... and my friend even watched me play my very first set of the new version!!! (i tried getting him to play it, but he was too scared by all the buttons and tech -- understandably so) . but anyway, i played all the licenses i could play, from Bling-Bang-Bang-Born [SPH-7] to an E-Clear AA on Bibideba [SPA-10] to an H-Clear AA on Igaku [SPA-9]... and somehow, my very first E-Clear on an 11 with Mesmerizer [SPA-11]!!!!!!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
we went to go eat for a little while and came back to play even more SDVX, now noticing that IIDX was full of people coming out of work waiting to play as much of the new version's contents as possible . we started just taking turns across both cabs instead of playing versus, which resulted in this ultimately tragic yet insanely good upscore... GAHHH I ALMOST HAD IT !!!!
HOWEVER THOUGH!!! i then proceeded to make up for it with an insanely good upscore (965 -> 984) on #FairyJoke [EXH-17]... and then also with getting a sightread 18 clear #4 on I [EXH-18]!!! THEN 18 CLEAR #5 ON SHAKUNETSU BEACH SIDE BUNNY [EXH-18]!!!!! THEN 18 CLEAR #6 ON FLOWER [EXH-18]!!!!!!!!! THEN FINALLY AN UPSCORE ON BLACK OR WHITE [EXH-18] TO TAKE IT FROM A 931 TO 952 AA+!!!!!!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i had to take a break for a little and leech off an abandoned Street Fighter 6 credit because i felt like i was going mayhaps Too insane... and right i was, because i hit an overkill on the truck minigame!!! wahoo!!!!! but of course right after that, we were BACK to gaming on SDVX!!! and the insanity just wouldn't stop coming!!!!!! an upscore from 969 to 974 w/ my very first H-Clear (excessive clear? exclear?) on BLAZE BREEZE [MXM-17], followed by 18 clear #7 on Crazy Jackpot [MXM-18]... and ending it off with 18 clear #8 on Blossom [MXM-18]!!!!!!!!!

Summative Assessment Prep — Session 2
Connect CTS A to all your other modules (and components)
Studio1
Visual thinking and visual grammar: Critical thinking techniques are applied to analyze visual elements and design principles to help students clarify the basis for their design choices. Create a rational decision-making culture in the context of visual communication.
Research frameworks, types and languages: Promote critical evaluation of sources, citations and library materials and emphasize discretion in selecting and integrating relevant content. In the poster typographic decision-making process, students are encouraged to use critical thinking to ensure clarity and purpose of communication.
Hollywood Bling and Data Space: By integrating critical analysis into narratives of data space classification, students are encouraged to apply these insights to Hollywood Bling's rotoscoping process. It emphasizes the impact of critical classification on creative narrative composition.
Craft workshop
Ask students to critically evaluate the impact of various markmaking techniques on overall design aesthetics. Develop a mindset of critical exploration of positive-negative spaces so that students can justify spatial decisions in the context of visual communication.
Color and abstraction: Inspired by renowned designers such as Foreign Policy, we inject critical approaches to color palette selection. It conveys subtle meanings through collages and fosters discussions on the important role of abstraction in inducing students to justify their artistic choices.
Photography
It cultivates critical thinking through subtle considerations on the history and nature of photography. Encourage students to critically analyze compositional principles and technical aspects and foster an informed approach to photo creation.
Digital skills & Applications
It integrates critical thinking into the digital domain by encouraging students to justify their choice of tools within Adobe product line and rotation range technology. It encourages critical evaluation of the effects of digital applications in achieving desired creative results.
By rigorously applying critical thinking techniques to each module and component, we will not only refine their creative decision-making processes, but also have an improved ability to analyze and justify our artistic choices in a professional context.

CTS Week 11- Review 2 (sem 1)
"The attitude of skipping to the wrong conclusion because you can't stand ambiguity and ignorance is the act of pursuing complacency, not truth and curiosity."
The sentence described above is one of the sentences described in the narration of <Critical Thinking> in QuailaSoup's YouTube video. We will face many strange problems in our lives. At that time, we need to be persistent about beings that have yet to be unclear and know the truth about them. In such a process, we can create honest answers for ourselves, which are also affected by the quality of our various designs. This was able to effectively develop several design modules by applying critical thinking.
Among them, in the second week of craft workshops, I exchanged opinions and conducted interesting activities, and in the fifth week, I discussed and cooperated with team members in Hollywood bling activities as well as developed my own abilities. In particular, the studio's data space activity was able to develop a collaborative technique by exchanging opinions with five group children and arranging objects based on setting the criteria for placing each object.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The classes of Craft Workshop on positive &negative and college development provided a situation that improved the thinking of growth mindset and documentation in the CTSA module. In these classes, we instilled the idea that everything changes, not fixes, which enables creative thinking.
If we realize that there is nothing simple in the world we live in, including the contradictions of the dichotomy, and apply it to our thoughts, we can go further from critical thinking to the creative thinking that we must have as designers. So I will do a lot of research so that I can practice this fact and develop it into another module to make my sensory design.

Here we go, my version of the Dark Orca family!
Both Archidemia and Hammerhead took their respective spouses' names, if anyone was wondering why Alpheus' family was the Kamat family and not the Benthos.
I haven't given everyone the bling they deserve, I meant to, I just kept getting distracted while I was doing the sketch and forgot. My stylisation is also very different to James Brouwer's, so everyone looks pretty different and it's more obvious when I've drawn three canon characters instead of one.
I have also accidentally made Hammerhead two years older than he is in canon. Oops.
I didn't mean to make Finn look so fabulous, it just sorta happened when I gave him the braid. Finn is a mama's boy, and the morning hair brushing is bonding time. Maddy usually uses that time trying to get Hammerhead to tell her stories about his pirate exploits from before she and Finn were born.
Finn's also more athletic in a gymnastic kind of way in this AU, with Archidemia and Alpheus as his mentors, not that Alpheus is usually happy to have Finn around.
The face obscuring masks also have voice modulators, and the Dark Orca is a lot scarier here than in canon because of the creep factor the masks give them. Said creepiness is only a bonus, the main reason for the masks is anonymity that means Theo and the kids are free to visit her family in Yorkshire without the authorities recognising them.
I think I'll do a post about the cousin trio as of 2016 to fully explain everything going on with Finn, Alpheus, and Tallulah, but it basically boils down to Finn looking up to Alpheus as the older cousin, Alpheus experiencing the Cain instinct, and Tallulah being the only one who's been around kids her own age.
There are technically four people who remember that Tallulah's got an older brother: Narayana and Keda assume that Finn and Alpheus aren't counting him as one of Tom's because they've never met, Tom (ADHD King) remembers that he has a biological grandson in theory but doesn't really connect him to Tallulah because said grandson refuses to meet him, and Theo is keeping quiet about him because she's waiting for the funniest possible moment to mention that Tallulah is another member of the little sister club.
Cait doesn't count because she's the one who gave birth to Connor.

Hey Bling! I’ve always loved linguistics and in another life I would’ve chosen to study it— I’m currently half way through a very unrelated degree. My similarly lingthusiastic friend has just suggested that we could email someone in the linguistics dept at our uni running a first year module and ask if we can just sit in the lectures next year/ get the materials without having to sit the exams and enrol. I have no idea whether this is an appropriate thing to ask and as a linguist who works at a university what would you say to this? Idrk want to be a pain but honestly sounds like such a dream to sit in a linguistics class for me. Thanks for reading <3
Hello!
I would go ahead and ask, because it depends on the university! Mine does not allow classes to be audited, so it may be different for yours. You may be able to ask your contact in the department if they have any resources for you (as someone just interested in linguistics, doesn’t matter if you are in the program or not)!
It’s not an annoying question at all, so I encourage you to ask!

I Don’t Do Droids pt. 3
Tumblr media
Read part 2 here!
Pairing: translator!reader x Din Djarin
Summary: Reader and Din finally make it to Devaron. She gets to use her skills as a translator and help him pick up the quarry, and she finally gets a moment to think to herself and maybe develop a crush on her Mandalorian partner.
Warnings: firefight *very brief, no gore*, mentions of death, alcohol
WC: 2k
A/N: I think after this part i’m time jumping. I want them to develop their relationship so the *romance* can start. Also, I need yodito content. Next part is going to take place like right before/maybe during part of episode 1!
* * *
You land in Devaron not long after. You fell asleep somewhere between a gently teasing conversation and shortly before the Razor Crest sputters out of hyperspace, and you watched as Mando steered the ship towards the planet. It was lush, a warm green that seemed to light up the entire visor of the ship, with the foliage so bright it seemed to blind you beyond the transparisteel. As you neared the planet’s surface, the shapes of jungles, vines, trees, and warm duracrete temples poked out through leafy branches, and you smiled as you took in all the system had to offer. You hadn’t been off Coruscant in years, before that was spent in the hot and dry deserts of Tatooine. You were excited to stretch your mind and use the language skills you had acquired, that was a guarantee, but the promise of new travel and a new system couldn’t be ignored. Mando seemed to catch the glint in your eye as he spoke up, “Haven’t been off Coruscant in a while huh?”
“Can’t say I get out much, I’m sure you understand.” You chided back, resulting in the echoed chuckle underneath his helmet. “Sure, I suppose I do.”
He landed the ship amidst some of the heavy foliage, deep enough in the jungle that your ship was obscured by heavy branches, but not far enough that the walk to the last known location of the quarry was going to be too far a walk. You bounded down the ladder of the ship after him, and paused at the large metal doors of the armory. He paused and looked at you for a moment before handing you a small, yet powerful blaster. “Can you use this?”
“Yes I can use it.”
“A stormtrooper can use it. But can you actually hit something?”
“I’m a better shot than a stormtrooper thank you.” “Well, let’s just hope it doesn’t come to that. You’re here to help me get information and then back on the ship.” You stared at him incredulously for a moment before sputtering a reply, “But, but I want to come! I can handle myself. What if you get stuck and can’t talk your way out?”
“I have a way with words.”
“Not in a language you don’t know you don’t.”
“Look, you’re not coming. I still don’t know if I trust you. Yet.” He added, and placed a gloved hand on your shoulder. “Just help me translate and find your way to the ship. Can I trust you to do that?”
“Fine.” You spat, crossing your arms over your chest. “Then bring me back something from the market. Since I can’t go anywhere.”
“We’ll see how you behave.” He said, and finished grabbing his blasters and shut the armory doors. He gestured toward the ramp of the ship, and opened the hatch, basking the hull in a warm sunlight. “After you.” He said, and you laughed in response and trudged out into the thick Devaron air.
* * *
It had been not much under an hour of walking, and you’d be lying if you hadn’t let your mind wander under the silence of the walk. You watched the sunlight glint off of the beskar on his helmet and could feel your cheeks fill with a warm rosy blush, but you convinced yourself it was the humidity of the jungle. You knew that wasn’t entirely true, the warmth under your skin where he had touched you earlier had not subsided, and you spent the walk imagining the color of his eyes and the pout on his lips when you could tell he was grimacing at you. You imagined him as brown eyed, you couldn’t see him with blue or purple. Underneath the modulated beskar, his voice spoke of a warmth only brown eyes knew. You fixated on your fingers, picking dead skin around the dry spots of your nail. Mando seemed to notice you overthinking, and looked over at you. “What are you doing?”
“Keeping myself busy. Why?” “You’re dangerously quiet.”
“I’m thinking.” “Mmm,” he hummed, “not good.” You sent a scowl his way before continuing, “I’m making sure my Devaronese is fresh. I don’t want to misspeak. Devaron women are proud people.”
“Yes. I remember reading something about them, the men travel quickly after adolescence and move across the galaxy?”
“Yeah, they don’t stay too long in one place. Kinda like you.” You hushed almost as soon as you spoke. You had known this man for nearly two days, and something told you he didn’t like the tiny linguist at his side psycho-analyzing him. Instead, you were surprised when he murmured back, “Yes. Like me.”
After reaching the city, Mando was quick to pull out the fob and begin tracking his quarry. You looked around the village streets, beautiful architecture and overflowing bazaar booths sprung out at you, boasting fruits and silks as colorful as the lights you’ve seen outside your apartment days before. You smiled to yourself as you understood the lively chatter the women and older men spoke to each other, and watched as children spoke to each other in their native tongue, with bits of basic mixed in. You were brought back to reality by Mando grabbing your elbow with one leather covered hand, and gesturing to a building to your right. “It’s a bar.” You said, reading the sign above the door. “Makes sense.” He responded, and you followed him into the dark building. Inside it was cooler, a refresh from the humid air outside, and there was a large bar in the center of the room. Species of all kinds gathered around, some tucked into shaded booths while a few Twi’lek dancers turned in the corner of the room. It seemed less seedy than the bars near your home, or the ones you’ve been in on Tatooine, but the undercurrent of a dark bar was the same no matter what system you were on. Din gestured to the bartender nearest you, and you smiled sweetly up at the older Devaron man. “[Hello. Me and my partner are looking for a man. Can you help us?]” You spoke, biting your lips in anticipation, hoping you got your translation right. “[Ha! I don’t help anyone for free. You better buy a drink first.]” You looked over at Mando before saying, “He won't help until we buy a drink.” “Ok, tell him what you want.” He said, placing credits on the counter. You smiled up at him, appreciating the gesture, and also with the understanding that he couldn’t indulge in a drink in a room full of people. You wondered how hot it was under that armor. “[Green champagne. And our information please.]” The bartender smiled back at you, and poured you a tall glass of a bubbling liquid a pale mint color. You brushed it up to your lips and smiled at the refreshing, sharp taste. You passed the man the puck and illuminated it, and he looked at it for a moment before answering. “[He was just in here a few minutes ago. Younger guy. I don’t think he knows you’re here. He was talking of heading to the space port a klick up the main road.]”
“[Thank you for the information. And the drink.]” You got up after finishing what was left in your glass, and passed it back to the bartender. Before you had fully turned around, the man called back, “[Good luck! I wonder what that poor sap did to get a Mandalorian on him!]” and clutched his stomach and let out a hearty laugh. Mando looked down at you as you headed out the door. “What was that last part?”
“Nothing, I can’t tell you. Can’t let your head get too big for that helmet.”
* * *
You were headed out into the jungles, following the split of you and Mando. He headed up towards the spaceport to catch the quarry and you were to go wait in the ship. Behave. He seemed grateful enough for your help, and you had to admit, the rush of traveling with a Mandalorian was indescribable. The way people stared at you as you followed in his hulking shadow made you feel both tiny and invincible. You hadn’t known your counterpart very long, but you had the feeling while you were in his good graces, no harm would come to you. As you bounded into the ship, you busied yourself with flicking the comm Mando had given you open and closed, and spinning his captain’s chair in circles. You ran your hands along the controls of the ship, imagining how it must feel to fly it. You hadn’t flown in far too long, not counting the rusted up yellow speeder you had for a short while in Coruscant before some drunk Corellian crashed into it. It was amazing to feel this free, even in the confines of this metallic ship, Mando was the closest thing you had to a friend in a while. You were eager to find more work, and hoped it would lead you to follow your short-humoured and strangely alluring counterpart.
A while later, around a few hours maybe, the comm on the control panel blinged. You starred at it in disbelief. The comm he had given you was to be used only for emergencies, and Mando didn’t seem like the kinda guy who sat on his comm and turned it on. After clicking it open, you were startled to hear blasterfire and his voice. “Y/N. I’m sending you coordinates, meet me here now.” He said, sounding remarkably calm under what sounded like intense fire. “Ok, ok I can do that.”
“I know you can. Sending coordinates now.”
You looked down at what he had sent you, and plugged them in quickly to the ships nav system. It wasn’t far, would take only a few minutes to fly over and you realized it must have been the space port. After starting up the ship, you apprehensively used the controls you had watched him use earlier to slowly rise the ship up, then forward, and then you were flying, flying quickly towards the coordinates. You approached the port, and weren’t surprised to see Mando standing alone, a few scattered bodies lay around him, the quarry right beside him, arms cuffed. You smiled to yourself. In some weird, probably sick way, you were kinda impressed. Sure, you knew he was a Mandalorian, but you didn’t realize he was this deadly. And he was nice to you. You pressed the button to open the hatch and felt the ship dip under the added weight of the two men. There was a muffled commotion in the hull, and then a sound you quickly realized was the carbonite freezer. Mando climbed up the ladder and walked through the door into the cockpit, and you scooted over to the seat behind him. “I told you you weren’t so good with words.” You said, and he scoffed as he plugged in the coordinates to Nevarro. “Yeah, s’pose you’re right about one thing.” He said as he pulled you out of the system’s atmosphere. “You did good though. With the speaking, and the flying.” he started, and you cocked an eyebrow and crossed your arms over your chest, “I told you I’m good at this stuff.” You said, and placed the ship in autopilot before spinning towards you, “Yeah, I get it. Look, I could use another hand around here. For talking and flying. I can teach you to defend yourself. What do you think about sticking around? I can pay well enough.” You beamed bright pink and looked down at the floor for a moment, before looking up at the T in his visor. Being this close to him and under this much scrutiny was intense, the feeling that he could see you but you couldn’t see him was electrifying. “Yeah, I’d like that. Someone’s gotta keep you out of trouble.” You said, and patted him on the shoulder as you moved towards the door of the cockpit. “Oh here,” he called and you turned around. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small brown parcel and tossed it to you. You unwrapped the brown canvas and inside was a long piece of fuschia and blue silk, a hair scarf. “You didn’t think I’d forget did you?” He laughed, and turned towards the transparisteel in the front of the ship, leaving you with the beautiful scarf and your emotions behind him. Kriff. He was good.

Eve online abyssal guide
Tumblr media
#Eve online abyssal guide how to
Looted a Precursor Skill Books? – INJECT IT NOW ! plenty of dead ships on zKillboard with skills in the cargo. You remembered to train Thermodynamics to 4 right? Keep Calm – you could face a Leshak in the first two rooms and a Lucid Deepwatcher in the last. If you are using the Shield Boost Rupture then the Orange cloud is bad news. Make use of Deviant Automata suppressors to take out drone frigates, just remember not to launch your drones. Take a Mobile Tractor Unit – you can deploy them and it saves on travel time. Re-activate your tank after jumping into and between sites – Modules will turn off !! This guide also assumes you have nearly perfect capacitor skills. appears to be engineered towards the use of Tracking and Guidance Disruptors modules. If you don’t, grab a gila (you can use a less blinged version of this one) and take it to a calm or agitated filament to get a feel for abyssal mechanics. Mysterious vessels of CONCORD design have been sighted in Abyssal.
#Eve online abyssal guide how to
You can’t actually do anything while in transit to an Abyssal site or between conduits. This guide assumes you’ve got some idea of how to run abyssal sites. Buy a dozen and you should get the storm type you are looking for. You will find Calm Abyssal Filaments Crate seeded in the market. If you want to try Abyssal Space without the risk you need to head over to Singularity (Test Server). Just remember – if you don’t activate the final gate before the timer (20 mins) runs down – you will lose your ship AND pod – up to you to decide if the risk is worth the reward. So why not grab a your T1 ship of choice and jump right in? There are also seven possible difficulty levels, with increasing. Within an abyssal deadspace pocket, there are five possible weather effects that affect both the player and NPCs. Filaments can be found in some Data Sites and also inside of some abyssal deadspace pockets. Vila Swarmers DO NOT need to be destroyed they will deactivate when their linked ship is destroyed and if they are still there, if all other. A filament is a kind of 'key' that unlocks entry into Abyssal Deadspace. This is an overview of the different groups of NPCs that can be faced in the Abyssal Deadspace in the different tiers. I don’t want to duplicate that information, but I will try out each of the Filaments and hopefully provide some useful Alpha tips. This page should be updated due to game changes. There are a lot of articles already written about Abyssal space, a lot of really good references like the “ UniWiki” and the “ Eve Site” has a ship fittings guide.
