Airbnb host invited me to their thanksgiving dinner and I’m zoning out the entire time like. So is this how American family eat? Jon's work still hasn't paid the balance of vacation pay we requested for the week he was off sick

I'm sitting here debating whether to go into my overdraft to pay for meal kits. This is so frustrating

Why can't the payroll at his work get their shit together!! It's hard enough to make ends meet when he does get his full pay, and now he's missing half a week and despite Jon contacting multiple people about it we've had no explanation and no correction

Do they not realize their employees have bills and need to you know... EAT in order to do a good job?? Fuck's sakes

if you want to know how out of date the average doctor's knowledge on type 1 diabetes is, when I was at the hospital they expected me to have non/gestational diabetic numbers, but also expected me to give myself insulin 2 hours after a meal instead of a half hour before

We will die on the hill that Absol is the ultimate companion for like intense anxiety and PTSD and probably a LOT of other conditions (anything where the sudden onset of something could be considered a kind of disaster so like I think diabetics and epileptics and probably more could benefit from them too)
