Haunted Housemate is coming up on it's three year anniversary, but it's been a lot longer since me and @bloopsalot first wondered "Hey, what if our characters smooched?" So I had to give my shot at the Draw It in Your Style. Considering "my style" is just Kon's style, i think it mayyy count as cheating a bit lol. Honestly? Been great ride, bb 🧡🧡🧡

Uhhh Leo has a lil buddy now?? It started as a quick little gift but then spawned into a "Yeah this is a thing now" as @weregreatatcrime can attest to. It started off cute then it got spicy then it got REAL SAD but it's fine. It's all fine.

This is Kaytlyn Manchester of the comic Haunted Housemate! She's a ghost from the early 60s. Due to events in the past, she's isolated herself from the world and is open to catching up as long as a kind hand is willing to help. She likes long walks on the riverside, reading and writing, and is autistic, but doesn't know it.

Just gonna rip off the bandaid real quick and say that through some technical troubles, I have lost around Half of Haunted Housemate's original files. Episodes 39 and up have vanished with very little way of getting them back. This includes episode 51 which should have been uploaded to you all on the Patreon today. 

With this, and the start-up of school, and the sudden mental health issues last week, I have run out of buffer episodes. 

What does that mean publically?It means that Haunted Housemate, the comic, will have to go on a public hiatus for a bit. Either until I fix my computer troubles, or cut my loses and just start drawing from 51 onwards until I have a decent buffer to be able to comfortably publish episodes again. There is no estimated end to the hiatus, but it will end.

What does this mean for the Patreon? I hope to use this time to do some more AU Archives posts and other bonus content. (Maybe some nsfw? :eyes:) I plan to still upload Housemate Episodes when they are finished here. So patrons will still be able to read updates as they come!

Logged onto the server today to get Tree Pics bc @bloopsalot got me thinking about Minecraft posting a bit ago.

This build is home to my fae character on the server and built entirely in survival! The front door's open rn but normally it's an ominous black portal that doesn't let you through (it just turns you around to face the other way)

The hoop is a custom block that I was trying to code ambient music into via datapacks but I haven't figured it out yet

Hey quick q on your characters, when picking their epithets, was the process word first, then abilities, or abilities first, and a frantic search through the dictionary to find something like goldbricker?

Every character’s epithet originally came from a randomizer except for Zora’s.

Safaa' voice: so i have the not them coming to try to kill me at noon, lunch at 12:15, the distortion's coming at 2:30, so I can squeeze in a worm invasion at 1, but they'll have to be quick.

That’s how Safaa’ is!

The best part about the worm invasion though is in Safaa’s fic (and on their twitter) what they canonically did during the Prentiss Attack (one of the first things that made people Afraid of how chill and fearless they are) was Ignore it because they had a report to do and when the worms ended up in their office and got into one of their legs they just applied a tourniquet and had the leg amputated and kept working.
