hey! the soft color palette in your kunigami/rensuke piece is gorgeous and i was wondering (as someone beginning to experiment in digital art) how/where you get your color palettes ?

Ahh I’m so sorry if I responded late!!! I was busy with family reunion and stuff like that 😭😭 Anyways this might sound silly so please bare with me 😞💔💔

Ok so I actually got my color palette from the anime!! The only changes I made were making the colors a bit warmer.

For example:

I did this because I didn’t like how it looked on my manga coloring (especially chigiris skin it looked silly) the colors aren’t exactly accurate because of all the shadows in the panel (but they’re close!). I also experimented a bit with different shades and stuff like that.

Now for the lineart, I got the color from their eyes and made it REALLY dark.

Like this (this is chigiris eye color btw):

Basically to summarize everything I said, I grabbed the colors from the anime and made them slightly warmer!
