i went from being super stoked for the magnus protocol, to now having those feelings die every week... the podcast has literally become (/continues to be) nearly impossible for me to listen and tbh it's upsetting. i was really, really hoping that the awful edits and distance of the camera/audio recorder would be like, a smalller bit, or at least not be half of every gd episode... but alas. it just gets fucking worse every week.

i want to know what's going on, and of course transcripts are there, but... i want to *listen* while i am cleaning at work. and it has hit the point that even in a quiet room with headphones in at FULL VOLUME i still cannot understand half of the episodes.... it's a fuckn bummer, man...

it's actually embarrassing how many listens i have given them bc i cant decipher the simplest of conversations... cuz it's definitely not due to wanting the content as greatly as tma. i just keep getting frustrated when trying to consume the content i i was loving at the start lmao and its disappointing

but ugh, i've literally been getting bummed abt it every week lmao. i thought maybe they'd have learned from the negative feedback that s5 Jared, (and even Michael, the Daisy's trunk clip, and audio withint he tunnels) caused because of the difficulty to listen, lol.

it's an AUDIO medium, RQ, pleeeeeeeeeease

next semsester i got a 2 hour 15 minute gap between my art and philosophy class oh my god imma be camping out on campus again😭

HYPING MYSELF UP IC AN DO IT.#ayeeee all classes done by noon on mw is NICE. thats the perks ig #u get there early as fawk but u get out early as fawk #i cant decide what is better for me :/ obvs i like sleeping till 11am like how i did this semster but. then i dont get home till like 2-4pm #(depending on the day but yeah)#but like the other smetser when i had 9ams... my ass was HOME BEFORE NOON. HOME AT 11AM SOME DAYS? THATS CRAZY #and id jsut go the fuck to sleep 😭#but. my energy drink consumption was worse. i was dirnking lots in the mornings. now im drinkning em in the night #lose lose ig #hollowspeak

I didn’t want to reblog the whole thing but there was a post about clocks? and the overwhelming narrative seemed to be that it’s ableist to want analogue clocks because people with dyscalculia can’t read them? and I was just. so baffled and saddened by this dogpiling because I do have dyscalculia and I DO need analogue clocks because of it. I can’t parse a string of numerals as having any meaning, but the non-numeric method of telling time by looking at an angle is like… shape-based information, not numbers, so I can understand it. everyone figures out their own way to process information that their brain can’t or won’t process and for me it’s that I need to see time as a shape, not a number. So… bringing ableism into the clock argument as a gotcha just feels weird and icky and stupid. just let people have the time-telling devices they prefer, god
