how he reacts to seeing you wearing his hoodie
suna rintarō
pictures! you know that scene where the miya twins are fighting and suna just sits there taking pictures - yeah, that’s what he’s going to do with you. he will take honestly a thousand pictures of you wearing his hoodie because it looks so cute on you. suna even sets the images he took of you as his wallpaper because he thinks you look so adorable wearing a big hoodie that’s too big for you that belongs to him <333
bokuto kōtarō
bokuto is probably like WOAH!!! he’s also wondering “oh so THATS WHERE MY HOODIE WENT” because he was looking for it this morning and couldn’t find it. he will from then on ask you to always wear his hoodie because he absolutely loves it when you’re wearing his clothing. he thinks it looks so good over you and he’s always got some comments to make whenever you’re wearing any of his clothing <3333
kuroo tetsurō
kuroo honestly just smirks to himself when he sees you walk out of the bedroom wearing one of his red hoodies. he absolutely loves it. he really does love it when you wear his clothing, and he thinks when you wear his oversized hoodies it absolutely suits you. recommends you to wear his clothing more often. but also the fact that this man cannot take his hands off of you - not in any sexual way, he just loves how you look wearing his clothing
akaashi keiji
literally the second akaashi sees you wearing his hoodie - he swears that he falls in love with you all over again. he thinks you look adorable wearing his hoodie, especially since his clothes are too big for you, so you end up having sweater paws and it goes down to your mid thigh. akaashi thinks you look adorable and all he wants to do it grab onto you and give you a big hug and kiss you and tell you how adorable you are <33
tsukishima kei
he swears to you that he doesn’t think anything when he sees you walking around your shared home wearing one of his hoodies - but honestly tsukishima is screaming inside. he thinks you look absolutely fucking adorable but he doesn’t have the right words to express just how beautiful you look wearing his clothing. instead, he just brushes it off and acts as if it doesn’t affect him in any way, but he can never stop thinking about it
sugawara kōshi
i do think that he’s another one who is going to be pulling out his phone and taking a million different photos of you wearing his hoodie. suga praises you - like he literally praises you “i’m so proud of you for wearing my clothing!!” and honestly, he just loves it?? he really loves it when you’re wearing his clothing. you look absolutely beautiful in what he owns and he really does encourage you to wear his clothing more often
atsumu miya
okay no because i honestly feel like atsumu will start flirting with you right on the spot the second he sees you wearing one of his hoodies. he loves the sight of you wearing his hoodie. it’s so big on you and long - making you have sweater paws and how it goes down to the middle of your thighs and looks like a dress on you, he thinks it’s cute. he smirks to himself as he watches you spin around and tells you to wear his hoodie more often
kenma kozume
he’s too busy playing games that he probably didn’t even realise that you were wearing one of his hoodies until the game ended and he could properly look at you. that’s when kenma becomes a blushing mess because oh my god you look so adorable wearing his hoodie. even though it’s not that much bigger on you, it’s still long and that factor is noticeable. he smiles and blushes because you look so adorable wearing it,, he just doesn’t know what to say to you
sakusa kiyoomi
sakusa acts as if he doesn’t care at all that you’re wearing his hoodie - but on the inside he really does love it. he thinks his hoodie looks adorable and so big and cute on you that he cannot control himself from screaming on the inside. he isn’t one who is going to say much about it, but in his head he’s thinking about how his hoodie suits you a lot. he only tells you that it looks good, but secretly he’s smiling to himself on the inside
kageyama tobio
kageyama actually gets so fucking blushy when it comes to seeing you wearing his clothing. he actually thinks that you look so cute and amazing wearing his clothing. the only thing about him is that he doesn’t really know what to say or how to act. he kinda just becomes a nervous blushing wreck when he sees you wearing his clothing - especially his hoodie. it’s never happened before so he’s kinda nervous about it
osamu miya
it’s already a thing that everything in osamu’s closet also belongs to you - so it’s not really something new to him to see you wearing any of his clothing, but when he sees you wearing his gigantic hoodie - oh my god his jaw has dropped. he thinks you look gorgeous wearing a hoodie that’s way too big for you and how cute it is just resting on your body. he makes sure to hold you close almost as if he’s trying to keep you as his forever
hinata shōyō
hinata is another one of those boys who is going to just blush and have absolutely no idea what to say when he sees you walk out wearing his hoodie. it was the first time you had ever worn any of his clothing and he thinks it looks amazing on you. blushing and stumbling over his words, hinata tells you that you look so cute wearing his clothing and then just continues to blush whenever he locks eyes with your figure anywhere in the house
kita shinsuke
when kita sees you wearing his hoodie, he smiles to you and tells you that you look beautiful. he’s such a gentleman when it comes to this - he’s always going to be complimenting you about how adorable you are and how beautiful you look when you’re wearing his clothing. he encourages you to wear his clothing more often and tells you that you look beautiful wearing his clothing and he would be happy to see you wear more
oikawa tōru
another one who just starts flirting with you out of nowhere. he’s got the duality. one minute he’s like “babe have you seen my teal coloured hoodie??” and the next minute he’s like “whats cookin’ good lookin’” and please it just makes you laugh. aside from the jokes, oikawa just cannot stop staring at you because you look so pretty. he will tell you that, obviously once he’s finished with the amount of cheesy pick up lines
iwaizumi hajime
he’s the type who would just nod his head and be like “i like your outfit” without even realising that you’re wearing his hoodie until after he takes a proper look. after that, iwaizumi just begins blushing because oh my god you look cute wearing his clothing. he loves how big his hoodie is on you and really likes it when you wear it. he probably stutters after noticing and rubs the back of his neck a lot while watching you with a smile on his face
ushijima wakatoshi
HONESTLY THIS MAN!!! he will look at you, take in the fact that you’re wearing one of his purple coloured hoodies and just nod his head at you and tell you that it “looks good”. he doesn’t really say much either. yes, he does think a lot about how beautiful and cute you are wearing his hoodie, he’s just not the very vocal person to compliment you every five seconds about how you’re looking wearing his clothes <33
tendou satori
tendou has one of those jaw dropping moments when he sees you wearing one of his hoodies. he also pulls out his phone to take a million photos of you because you rarely get the chance to wear his hoodies, and he just wants this moment to last forever. the whole, “take a picture it’ll last forever” moment. he absolutely loves it and it makes him smile a lot to see that you’re wearing his clothing - he loves you so much <33
yamaguchi tadashi
blushing messy baby who has absolutely no idea what to do or say when he sees you walk out of the room dressed up in his hoodie and your favourite pair of leggings. you look stunning!! so beautiful with your hair tied up in a messy bun and all. he loves the way that you look right now, the main feature of you being his hoodie that you’re wearing. he just smiles to himself as he tries to get the courage to tell you how cute you look right now and always
komori motoya
komori is also someone who is going to be one of those blushing messes because he absolutely has no idea what to say when he sees you wearing his clothing. you look adorable, so freaking beautiful and he has absolutely no idea what to say to you. he says something along the lines of “you look cute wearing my hoodie” and that’s probably all. he starts fiddling with his fingers with a smile on his face as he watches you
tanaka ryūnosuke
tanaka is ceo of having the biggest reaction when he sees you wearing his hoodie. screams. he literally fucking screams. it’s just the fact that you look so beautiful when you’re wearing his clothing and so absolutely amazing that he cannot help himself. he’s literally screaming and all around you telling you that his hoodie suits you so much and how you look amazing and honestly a million other sweet compliments about you <3

things the haikyuu boys did when they had a crush on you
Tumblr media
miya atsumu
started wearing whatever you really liked wearing/complimented him on. if you mentioned the print on his shirt, you best bet he’ll be wearing that shirt for a whole week straight. a shirt he once thought nothing of is now his favorite shirt.
“‘tsumu, why don’t you try changing. you know, y/n could probably smell you a mile away,” osamu said to atsumu one morning as they were walking to school.
“nuh uh,” atsumu quipped back. “i washed it with the detergent y/n likes.”
“oh so you finally learned how the washing machine works?”
“‘samu you’re ruining it for me.”
asked overly-personal questions. not to be creepy or weird, but because he cherished the information he knew about you that no one else did; it made him feel special
“y/n, do you have any big regrets?”
“is there um, anyone you feel really happy around?”
“what’s your guilty pleasure? c’mon everyone has them.”
“have you ever been bullied?”
got visibly irritated whenever another guy interrupted your conversation with him. or if you were just smiling too hard when talking to a guy he doesn’t know about
“if you keep frowning like that, you’ll look like a grandpa by next year,” osamu said right before biting into his onigiri.
“shut up, ‘samu,” he groaned, trying his best to distract himself from the fact that you looked happier talking to another guy than him. did you smile that hard when he made a joke? he sure hopes so :’
kuroo tetsurou
pointed out the smallest differences in you. he noticed the slightest changes in your body language, style, mood, etc etc. on your bad days, he desperately wanted to ask if anything was wrong, but didn’t want to risk overstepping boundaries. so he just asked “how’s your day?” and even if you answered with a “good/fine/okay” he would know you weren’t telling the full truth
if you came to school wearing a brand new pair of shoes, he’ll point it out and tease you all about it. if you showed up with a new hairstyle, kuroo won’t say anything, but you can tell he noticed because of the way he looks at it.
even if you cut off three centimeters of your hair, he probably noticed.
kept trying to fix his appearance around you
he tried making it really subtle too. he’ll smooth down his jacket, try to flatten down his hair, and straighten his collar around you in hopes that it’ll make him look a bit better (he’s such a cutie 🥺 okay who’s gonna tell him that he’s looks perfectly fine the way he is)
teased you, in a flattering way. the type of teasing where you have to force yourself from smiling too hard. and he only does it to you! no one else is worth his teasing
but the moment someone else starts teasing you, he’d act a little ... distant. he’d back off and just watch you interact with them. if you look uncomfortable, he’d immediately put a stop to it and put them back in their place.
called you by a nickname only he uses
at first, he used it as a joke. but overtime, it just stuck and now it doesn’t feel right for him to call you by your first name. again, the annoyance is clear on his face when someone called you by the same nickname
~~~
when you first met kenma, he said, “y/n? i’ve heard a lot *glances at kuroo* about you.”
suna rintarou
lowkey protects you. such as putting an arm in front of you, shielding you with his body, draping his jacket over your head, lending you his umbrella, that type of stuff (ugh just kiss already)
he acted like it was no big deal. it’s not like he’d admit it was on his mind for a whole week. the miya twins knew something was up when suna suggested watching a romance movie. (suna needed new scenarios with you in his head)
subtly invited you everywhere, made excuses to be around you
“hey, we have a game on saturday at *specific location* in case you wanna come”
“since they’re having a buy-one-get-one-free, it’ll be a shame if you didn’t come along ...”
“since we’re both headed towards that place, might as well go together”
unexpectedly defended you/your opinion in conversations and class. even though suna rarely talks in class, if you brought up a point/answer, he’d defend it
sakusa kiyoomi
had trouble meeting your eyes without blushing
even with his mask on, you could see the redness spread across his cheekbones whenever you spoke to him.
always plopped himself in a seat close to you, even with all those other empty seats
his became more soft, gentle, and high-pitched around you, his posture became less stiff
it’s subtle; he didn’t even notice a change in his own voice. maybe because there’s nothing else on his mind when he’s talking to you?
always walked a little bit slower in the hallways when he saw you pass by and eyed you, hoping that you’d notice him like the way he noticed you
bokuto koutarou
stumbled with his words and forgot basic things around you
“class? what do you mean by ‘we have to go to class’??”
listened intently to everything you said and memorized facts about you better than his vocabulary words
“akaashi, did you know that y/n’s favorite ice cream flavor is ...”
“nope, y/n can’t make it today. how do i know? because they told me in advance :D oh wait, y/n’s not gonna be here today?? D’:”
made a handshake with you to do in front of everyone to show off that your connection with him is special
the pride he felt when everyone gathered around to watch you and him do your special handshake 🥺
got you gifts out of nowhere simply because you said you liked it
his mindset goes: getting y/n ___ = y/n happy :) i better get it for them before someone does
tendou satori
always lends you his stationary and whenever he forgets a pencil, you’re the first person he asks. don’t worry, he always returns them right after :)
he also loves “borrowing” your personal things. the idea of you trusting him is really special to him. plus, whenever someone asks him where he got it, he gets to say, “oh, it’s y/n’s.”
loves, loves, loves passing notes in class!!
he kept all of your conversations with him in a special little box hidden in his room.
complimented the little things he knows you care about!
he loves seeing that beautiful smile of yours while knowing he’s the cause of it.
he smiles so much around you <33  tendou’s smile is so contagious it’s hard to be sad around him. not to mention he always knows how to cheer you up :’
iwaizumi hajime
whenever his friends talked about hot actors and classmates they found attractive, he never joined in. (if you were there, he’d be glancing at you ever-so-often)
he’d always offer to walk/drive you home. every single day. even if you insisted that he didn’t need to, it would take another five minutes of convincing him. if you said yes, he happily got you home. no matter what occasion, he always asked you. it was your regular, daily routine with him :)
made jokes only for you to hear. he loved having inside jokes with you that only you two understood. the confusion on other peoples’ faces was satisfying.
akaashi keiji
had a lot of sympathy for you over small things (and big things too, of course)
if your weekend plans got messed up, if you lost your jacket, forgot your stationary, tripped on the stairs, he’s the person you go to to talk about these things. he never belittles your struggles and always finds a way to help you feel better
always checked in with you and made sure you had a lunch to eat
even if your classroom is across the campus, you better expect him to be at the front door after your class is over
tried his best to get to know your friends and family (and pets!)
akaashi best boy 🥺 the way he sees your friends and family as his own because he knows how much they matter to you
Tumblr media
-> a/n: i hope you like these hehe :))
Tumblr media
a/n: Hell yes! I always wanted to write something about them c: Hope You will like it :)
Pairing: Black Jackals x Reader
Tw: dubcon, anal, overstimulation, cum overload, fivesome, double penetration
Wordcount: 2,6k
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You wouldn't take your job as manager of the Black Jackals lightly. The guys could be really exhausting at times, but you still enjoyed watching them, cheering them on, helping them everywhere you could. Four of them seemed to be particularly interested in you, but you didn't think anything special about it, after all, they just want to be nice. Atsumu, who always liked to give you a little tweak in your butt, and was all in all very touchy. Bokuto, who hugged you tightly once a day, while his hand always wandered a little deeper. Hinata, who always picked you up after every game in bridal style and pressed you against him while he was cheering, the hand that held you, was tight on your butt what made you blushing mess. And of course Sakusa. He didn't really like human contact at all, but with you he was somehow different, he liked to talk to you, even sometimes hugging you after a win, but you couldn't see his dirty grin, when he felt your breasts pressing firmly against his chest.
They knew how naive you were and shamelessly took advantage of it to satisfy their craving for you.
But when Bokuto saw you on a free noon with a boy who was pretty close to you, of course he immediately told the others about it and they all agreed they had to make something clear to you.
Sakusa wrote to you late at night. You were a little confused about what Sakusa wanted from you so late.
"Hey y/n-chan, im sorry to bother you at this time but I've left my keys in the lockeroom. Could you maybe come and unlock the door for me?“
You immediately typed that you would be there in 10 minutes, wondering why he didn't just ask the captain. With quick steps you went to the door, where Sakusa was standing alone, and already had you in his sight. "I'm sorry that you had to come here that late.“ He said to you while you tried to unlock the door, but it was already open. With a questioning look, you looked back at Sakusa, who was now standing very close behind you, and pushed you into the lockeroom, and Kick the door shut with his foot.
The lights went on and right in front of you were Atsumu, Hinata and Bokuto, with a big grin. Now you were completely confused. The door was open all the time? And why are the three here? "G-guys? What's going on?", your voice let out your discomfort as you looked back and forth between the four. Atsumu was the first to speak. "Actually you should know why you're here manager-chan." Your question mark in your head got bigger and bigger, just like your eyebrow which got higher and higher. "Did I do something wrong? I'm sorry.“
Sakusa was the next to speak. "Oh yeah you did, but no problem we accept your apology, but we expect a little more than a simple apology." His arms crossed over each other on his chest while he leaned against the wall. "Sure uhm- I'll invite you to an ice cream?" You answered with a questioning undertone, still unsure what you did wrong. "I'm thinking of something better, right?“ Atsumu asked around and everyone nodded.
Now Bokuto came up to you with wide arms to pull you with him and to place you on his lap on a bench while he roamed his hands over your figure and pushed your sweater up, exposing your bra. His hands were warm on the skin, it was comfortable, but the whole thing happened so irrationally. You let it just happen, the hands that you felt on your skin were too pleasant. They were joined by two more on your legs that they spread and put everything that covered you off. It was Hinata's hands that pulled your thighs apart and ran over them once. A voice penetrated your ear. "Ya know, you were a bad manager, we thought you belonged to us. This all."
Bokuto made it clear while he grabbed your tits. "Suddenly I see you with such a stupid schoolboy who probably can't even protect you as we can." His hands were everywhere, one brushed the hair from your face, the other kneaded your chest, which made you wince slightly. As Hinata let his hands get closer and closer to your cunt you had to twitch briefly. "W-what? I don’t know what you mean“, you stuttered while their hands continued to slide over your flesh. The other two men watched with a satisfied smile, lazily touching their cocks trough their sweatpants. "Oh you know what i mean Angel" now he tilted your face and looked deep into your eyes before he pulled you into a lovely kiss. It felt as intimate as a warm summer night. Hinata had meanwhile arrived at your cunt and stretched your lips with two fingers apart to lick between it. It made you moan into the kiss. But Hinata didn’t stop, on the contrary, he became faster and more energetic. You broke away from the kiss to put your head on Bokuto's shoulder and claw your finger in Hinata’s orange hair.
"Mmhm, you like that don't you? Keep going Shoyo, she likes it!"
Bokuto exclaimed. The addressed man lifted his head once to look up and grin. "She tastes so good Bokuto-san!" Shortly afterwards he sank back between your thighs while Bokuto played with your nipples. Your moans could not be held back so you put your hand over your mouth to hide them, but your hand was quickly pulled away. "Let us hear you Princess." Bokuto mumbled. And while the two kept going you noticed how your climax was getting closer and closer, it only needed a little push. This push came when the man behind you now attacked your neck and sucked tight. Your body hunched up, your hands clenched in Hinata's hair.
Atsumu couldn't take his eyes off you during the whole process, caught in your noises and movements. Your breathing had quickened and your senses were slowly coming back. Hinata slowly got up to take off his shirt. Your gaze slid over him. His built wasn’t that bad. Your hands clenched behind you around the neck of Bokuto who now slowly sat you down on the floor.
"I think it's our turn isn't it?" Atsumu now came into it. You totally forgot about him and Sakusa. Bokuto pouted as he had just taken off his boxers and his hard cock bumped against his stomach. Your mouth watered. Now Sakusa was in front of you and blocked your view. What you didn't notice, he was already naked just like Atsumu. This time your gaze wandered down and back up to Sakusa‘s face. He smiled a little bit.
"Come on, be a good girl and get on my cock," said the black-haired now while he sat down on the floor. You nodded lightly and crawled over him. His hand led his penis to your entrance, and slowly rubbed it against your cunt, back and forth.
"Please fill me up Sakusa!" you moanded, too desperate to be filled up.
"You sure?" he answered with a raised brow. You nodded to him, and he sank into you in one motion which let your eyes cramp together and your hands drawn together on his chest. He let out a loud, almost bestial moan. You didn't notice that suddenly behind you was Atsumu until he put a hand on your back and pushed you down to Sakusa.
"I need a place too baby.“ He smiled at your questioning face. But when he slowely rubbed his dick an the same entrance you and Sakusa were connected, you shook your head immediately. "No there's no place for you Ats-"
but he already sank in you right beside Sakusa's cock. He had too groan because of the friction of Atsumu's cock. It burned really bad, it was just too much filled up right now. Just not that there were two in you at the same time, they weren't really that small, which didn't made the whole thing easier. Fortunately, Atsumu gave you a little time to get used to the new feeling until he built a slow pace, while Atsumu’s hand caressed your shoulder blades. "Fuck- so tight." Sakusa hissed while his hands were grabbing on to your hips.
"Oh baby, how long we dreamed about that, to make you out lil 'slut just for us. Well-fuck, we have to learn a lot but your doing great right now." the blonde setter behind you groaned while he picked up the pace and perfectly kissed your cervix every time. Your brain could not process the information, it was too absorbed to notice the two cocks in you. Also Sakusa tried to generate a few thrusts, and your body jolted on instant. Your face was suddenly turned to one side by pulling your hair to see Hinata looking down at you while his cock glistened with pre-cum right in front of your face. "Take it." he only commented while he buried his hand in your hair a little tighter. Your mouth opened to let him in, and he took advantage of it by picking up a quick pace right away. He used your mouth like you were just a doll. You had to spit, and cough while he was totally abusing your throat. Your hand was suddenly put around another penis, which declared itself to be Bokuto, who looked at you with a pout. He probably feels left out. So your hand picked up a pace as best it could and slid up and down his thick length.
Your tongue rolled the length of Hianata‘s cock back and forth over the tip, sometimes having to let out a moan, which made your mouth vibrate. Hinata's head was in his neck and his hand tightened in your hair. "So your pretty mouth can be used for more," groaned Hinata. Your last final lick made him groan, while he spilled is cum in your throat. You had to cough, a little bit spilled out of your mouth, while the other half went down your throat. His hand released your hair, and he sat down, to relax.
Atsumu's thrusts became more and more precise and hard, which brought you closer to your second orgasm. Your hand was still around Bokuto, who had to howl loudly as your hand was getting faster and faster. And when he turned your chin in his direction, his cum went in your face and upper body. It dripped all over your body and Bokuto looked at you with a satisfied grin. But now you felt your climax approaching, especially when Sakusa's hand suddenly came to your breasts.
Your eyes rolled back, your hands clenched in the bicep of Sakusa and with another sharp thrust came another wave of euphoria. Your walls tightened around the two as your strength slowly left your body. As you were about to fall forward, a hand held you around your neck. It was Atsumu who now held you up and pushed himself further into you. Sakusa who thrust into you again came all of a sudden, and fucked his whole load into you. "Fuuuuck- so tight." He hissed while he made sure to fuck all his load in you. Atsumu who felt everything, had to groan as well, while he looked down where you two are connected. Sakusa‘s cum dripped from you onto his cock. However, everything was getting too much for you, you howled softly, you were too sensitive at the moment after two orgasms. "Dont worry, I hurry up." Atsumu groaned, and in fact after the next thrust he came into you too. Both now pulled out, and the two loads of cum just dripped out of you. The sudden emptiness let you groan. Your body was gently passed on, but you didn't notice that, your senses were blown away.
Bokuto was suddenly in front of you and looked at you with a shimmering and excited face. You only now noticed that you were on his lap, his length lying tense against you. How could he have had so much stamina?
He picked you up by your waist to lower you on top of his member. Your hands automatically slid to his shoulders to give you a little strength. He had to groan, "Fuck you are still so tight even though you only had two cocks in you." He groaned while his hands cramped on your hips. "I want her too Bokuto-san" Hinata pouted behind you, his length in his hand. "Take her Ass." Bokuto only commented. Your thoughts said you should say something about it but nothing came out of your mouth. And then his tip was already on the tight muscle ring, and penetrated without any preparation. It made you howl. "Shhh, baby come on be a good girl, alright." Bokuto whispered softly in your ear while his hand ran soothingly over your back. But it got tighter as Hinata pushed further and further, until you noticed that he was completely inside. It was an uncomfortable but kinda satisfying feeling, even if you had already two orgasms behind you. Now Bokuto raised you again to get you on the two cocks up and down. At the beginning slower, but after he saw your face to make sure your okay he was going faster. When Hinata‘s hand clapped on your ass cheek you had to groan loudly, out of nowhere you were completely horny again.
"Your doing Great." Bokuto groaned, he sank in and out of you, while his tip kissed your point perfect. His balls slapped against your skin, and Hinata groaned behind you while he held your butt open to see where you two are connected. ,,She‘s so perfect, our little manager.“ he moaned, while he thrusted into you. You were a moaning mess, full of cum and no strength in you anymore. It was humiliating and you never imagined that, this would ever happen.
His pace became faster and more hectic, so that you couldn't hold out for long until you reached the climax for the third time and just let yourself go. It was liberating to finally untie the knot. Your walls cramped around the two, you kind of sucked them into you. Bokuto seemed to be getting too much and load his cum into your cunt. His hips stuttered, while his hands were still on your hips. you would very likely have red marks tomorrow. Now only Hinata was left who did not wait long and came on your ass and back. You felt dirty, used, you just wanted to wash yourself and lie in your bed, but what you didn't know, this was not the last round, because Atsumu came up to you again with a big grin. The night went on for a few more laps, they persuaded you to be hers, their own little cum garbage to discharge. Until you couldn't say anything, not even your own name. Now after a week, they had you perfectly under their control, their own little manager slut. They knew what you wanted to do every time you accidentally let something fall and tried to pick it up from the floor and your skirt slipped up higher than necessary, how you accidentally brushed them across their crouch when you walked past them. You became her own little slut, and whether you would ever get out of there remains to be doubted.
post-it notes ♡
characters: sugawara, bokuto
summary: it’s basically just them flirting with their s/o using post-it notes
(i thought it was cute okay)
genre: fLUFF
warnings: be prepared for just how fluffy this is because it’s so cute omg
Tumblr media
You two honestly don’t even know when or how this started, it just,, started?
During classes, in the halls, face to face, it was just you guys’s thing
It didn’t take long for people to notice the cute little thing you guys had going on of passing post-it notes to each other all of the time
EVERYONE thought you were dating, truth is, you both liked each other but were both too scared to confess to the other.
One day you decided to confess but you were really nervous, you didn’t know how you would do this and you didn’t want to ruin your friendship.
But then you decided it was better to confess then to be like this any longer
Suga made you happy and he was your best friend, what could go wrong?
So here you are, holding little heart-shaped post-it notes in your hands that you had just gotten at the convenience store and your cheeks flushed because you had ran all the way there and back to try to make it back in time.
“meet me behind the gym before the game - bug”
Oh yeah, did I mention? You have post-it note codenames for each other
You were bug and he was kit-kat
this is so cute im screaming
the nicknames had come from just random moments
You were bug because your were freaking SHORT and he was kit-kat because one day you brought him one and he got so excited and he had accidently left a little bit of chocolate in the corner of his lips and you didn’t bother to mention it to him until after he had come to sit down from his presentation in front of the whole class KDJFLSDK
“i loved that presentation kit-kat” you smiled slyly at his confused face. “Kit-Kat?” Suga asked a little confused. You reached to the chocolate at the corner of his lips and wiped it off of his lips with your thumb and then licked the chocolate off of your thumb.
Suga baby was a MESS
Baby was blushing so hard he couldn’t function for the rest of the day
Error 404 suga.exe has stopped functioning
He couldn’t look at you without blushing for a whole week
So here you were, sticking this post-it note to his locker (which you knew he would go to to get his volleyball bag), telling him to meet you behind the gym before his practice game vs. nekoma so you could confess to him how you literally fell head over heels for him
You were twiddling with the bottom of your skirt as you saw Sugawara approach you from a little distance. Maybe telling him to meet you here was mistake? Maybe you should just say that you wanted to wish him good luck on the game? no, you had to tell him, it was to late to back out now and you it was getting harder and harder to hold back your feelings. mama ain’t raise a lil bitch.
Suga held your little heart shaped post-it note with your careful handwriting up and waved it. “I got your note.” he smiled, completely oblivious to what was about to happen. How were you supposed to confess to him when he was being so cute. UGH.
“i uhm, needed to talk to you suga-kun.” you said twiddling with your fingers now. Sugawara noticed how tense you were and decided to stay quiet and pay attention to what you had to say, he didn’t want to ruin it since it seemed important.
“you can tell me y/n” a little smile on his face.
“uhm, okay, well, i-, i like you suga, and not just you know, friendship like you, like, like LIKE you.” you stuttered out, feeling your cheeks heat up so much it would be noticeable even if it were dark out.
Suga walked up to you with a little smirk (he was trying to keep it down i swear he didn’t want to make you freak out more but he couldn’t help it)
“do you have any more of these post-it notes?” he asked simply.
“I- what? Uhm yea, i think so.” confused, you took out the pack of heart-shaped stick notes and handed it to him.
Suga took out a sharpie from his pocket and started writing on it, when he was done he just sticked it to your forehead and walked away. (YOUR FOREHEAD, I KNOW)
You were so confused you thought this wasn’t actually happening. You took the sticky note and read it.
“i like you too dummy - kit-kat”
Your heart JUMPED out of your chest. You blushed again you noticed something was written behind it too.
“wait for me at the entrance to the gym after the game”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Karasuno had won the practice match against Nekoma which had only motivated Nekoma more to practice for a real dumpster match. You laughed at the sight of the captains of both teams trying to be as sportsman like as possible to each other failing miserably because Daichi seemed like he wanted to break out into a dance and Kuroo looked like he was about to cry.
You waited at the entrance, spacing out and looking up at the stars in the sky. Only to be brought back by the familiar voice calling your name.
“y/nn !” Suga called.
“Hi Suga!” you called back.
He stopped in front of you and blushed.
“Let me walk you home”
“Okay” you smiled.
The two of you walked together holding pinkies under the starry sky that night and when you two had stopped in front of your house he had given you a kiss in the cheek, making you both blush.
“Good night, y/n”
“Good night, Suga”
Tumblr media
lmao it started in the middle of volleyball practice
being one of the managers you had to take notes for the team for their plays etc.. so you had plenty of post-it notes
bokuto was being loud again, like always
“AKAASHI DID YOU SEE THAT, DID YOU SEE THAT AKAASHI”
you just walked up to him and stuck the sticky note right on his forehead
he turned it around and it said
“ssshhh, we saw it bokuto, good job”
bokuto literally stopped functioning because it was so out of nowhere and he wasn’t expecting that
he just stood there for a solid 20 seconds watching you walk away with the sticky note in his hand
akaashi was literally shook “y/n please do that more often just to shut him up”
i don’t know know what it was not even bokuto knows himself but after that he got such a big crush on you
maybe it was the way you got his attention with something so small?
so after that he got his own pair of sticky notes just to mess with you
he would write little notes to make you blush to try to get your attention like you got his, and he would be really sweet in the notes
“you look really pretty today :D “
“thank you for always helping our team :)”
yes, he drew the smiley faces too
and each and everyone of those post-it notes brought a little blush to your cheeks
not short after you ended up getting a crush on bokuto too and you would try to get him flustered with them too
“you’re doing really good today bokuto :)”
“are you a volleyball because i’d hit that ;)”
it’s safe to say that he short-circuited when you gave him that second one and just walked away and in that day, he had never played a practice match like how he did that day because he really wanted to impress you
the team had noticed you guys’s little post-it note thing and thought it was so cute
konoha and sarukui and yukie all had a game where they would watch to see the exchange of the sticky notes and laughed at how your faces would get so red after reading each others sticky notes
bokuto would try his hardest to make sure the post-it note was perfect
he would spend time on every little detail, he wanted his handwriting to be nice and the doodles around it to be perfect so he would be extra attentive to make sure it went the way he wanted and it freaked akaashi out because he had never seen bokuto pay so much attention to anything other than volleyball
no seriously, akaashi was literally freaked (in a good way) because bokuto would be silent for like 5 minutes focusing on his post-it of the day
not long after, you guys started dating and sometimes bokuto would have his arm around you and his hand would slip into the back pocket of your jeans to leave his post-it note there and he liked to watch how your cheeks would get so red, he thought it was so cute
for some reason you guys just forgot to tell the team you two were dating, you guys just thought that they thought you already were?
so uhm, this is how they found out
you were writing on your clipboard, taking notes for the practice getting the next volleyball camp set up for the boys. the team was setting everything up for practice to start and Akaashi was walking up to you to ask a question about the next training camp when OUT OF NOWHERE FREAKING BOKUTO SHOWS UP RUNNING TOWARDS YOU WITH A STICKY NOTE IN HIS HAND HE JUST SLAPS YOUR ASS WITH THE HAND THAT HAS THE STICKY NOTE AND KISSES YOUR CHEEK AND RUNS PAST YOU LIKE IT’S NOTHING.
Mind you the whole team just saw everything and Akaashi was right there so he not only got a front row seat to the sound you made when Bokuto slapped your ass but he also could read what Bokuto wrote on the post-it note.
Your face was SO red and you reached for the sticky note stuck on your ass.
“your ass looks really good in those pants baby :)”
again with the smiley faces, i know
Akaashi knew that he liked you but he had no idea that you guys were dating so he literally yelled “what the FUCK BOKUTO” and Konoha was about to spike a volleyball at him and Yukie was about to call the police before you could stop them and Bokuto and you had to tell them that you guys were dating😭😭
“ohhh but still, whAT THE FUCK I WAS RIGHT THERE” Akaashi spluttered.
“sorry akaashiiii” bokuto said, his hair going down about to go into emo mode. you kissed him in the cheek and he sprung up with the new found energy and gave you a big hug and you giggled.
“okay! let’s get this practice started!” bokuto yelled and started jogging over to the volleyballs after giving you a little kiss at the top of your head.

Soulmates
where the first words your soulmate says to you are tattooed on your body w/ Bokuto, Asahi and Tanaka (note the words have to be spoken directly to you)
Tumblr media
Bokuto:
‘Fuck watch out’ your soulmate was either a total dick, or a hero
you weren’t sure which and honestly, that being tattooed on your body forever didn’t make either option okay
it was right above your bathing  suit line so you always wore a shirt/one piece at the beach just so you didn’t have to get stares
which isn’t a big deal but you liked bikinis
today your team was going to the annual training camp and for the first time, you got to tag along
being a manager for Nekoma was hectic to put it simply but you loved them and loved being around them
when you all arrived Kuroo said he wanted to show your tattoo to his friend, thinking he’d get a kick out of it
you’d always had trouble saying no to the taller male so you reluctantly agreed
he lead you to one of the gyms and you could tell people were already practicing
you noticed a loud boy with two toned hair, who Kuroo helpfully identified as Bokuto, glancing at you
he messed up his spike
you watched as the ball flew at you, too stunned by the speed to react
“FUCK WATCH OUT” before you could see Who said your words, you caught the ball with your face
you blinked as your vision came back into focus as Kuroo yelled at Bokuto while trying to check on you and Bokuto just sobbed over your body while apologizing
you sat up, doing a quick headcount of how many people were in the gym
“which one of you assholes is my soulmate?” you asked, cradling your nose as it bled
silence
“OH MY GOD I SPIKED A BALL INTO MY SOULMATES FACE IM A HORRIBLE PERSON”
ah
not a dick. but damn if he can’t hit a ball hard
“i’ve had ‘fuck watch out’ on my body my whole life.. and i hated it.. and i just called my soulmate an asshole.. as my first words” you tried to process through the throbbing
Kuroo lost it, laughing his classic hyena laugh, earning a punch to the arm from you
“i deserved it, I am so sorry,” bokuto said through tears, trying to hold them back
you sighed, opening you free arm for a hug but he only looked confused
‘damn i really do have to do it all myself’ you thought, grabbing his arm and pulling him into a one armed hug
“sorry if i get blood on your shirt,” you mumbled, petting his head with your free hand as he laid his head in the crook of your neck
“it’s okay, it’s just a shirt,” he sniffed, “i hope i didn’t break your nose”
you removed your hand, trying to twitch your nose
“it seems to move fine, i think it’s gonna bruise though”
aaaaand theres a new round of tears
by the time you had been checked out and he had calmed down, the two of you sat outside to talk
“Y/N Y/L/N, nice to meet you,”
“Kotaro Bokuto, nice to meet you too, I am  really sorry about your face”
“stop apologizing, you were so stunned by my beauty you couldn’t focus on the  ball” you teased
“yeah you’re right,” he admitted, causing you to choke on your rice ball
in one day you had met your soulmate, almost broke your nose, and learned your soulmate is indeed a Sweetheart and one of the best in the country (which explains the power behind that hit) now it was just trying to survive the rest of camp
Tumblr media
Asahi:
‘i’m not a threat!’
did your soulmate break in?? try to rob you?? what kind of mark is That
your family moved from Tokyo to the Miyagi prefecture during your third year, so now you were spending your last year of highschool surrounded by people you didn’t know
you decided to sit outside for lunch, not wanting to look like the odd one out, plus it is nice outside
before you could even take a bite, you noticed someone looking at you
you turned to fully look at him, your jaw dropping a bit at how tall he was
‘i think that’s the guy someone said was in his 20′s and still a student’
while you were trying  to figure out if he was actually 20 or not, you didn’t realize how long you had been staring, or that you had dropped your food
“i’m not  a threat!” he tried to assure you, walking closer with his hands up, “everyone’s kind of scared of me because of the rumors but they’re not true”
he was pouting. cute
“yknow, if you weren’t my soulmate i might not believe that”
his jaw dropped, his cheeks a bright pink
his friend with silver hair came walking up
“Hi, you must be Asahi heres soulmate, yknow That’s a rather long sentence to have tattooed on your leg forever” he smiled
this seemed to break Asahi out of his stupour
“No it’s okay! You had to walk around with That on your body, this is fair,” he assured, lifting his pants leg to show your words wrapped like an anklet
you smiled up at him, pulling your uniform collar to the side a bit to show your tattoo under your collar bone
“they picked a bad place for yours, wow im sorry” he apologized, sitting down in the grass with you. “Asahi Azumane, it’s great to finally meet you”
“Y/N Y/L/N, the pleasure’s all mine, call me Y/N.”
you sat talking for the rest of the lunch period, not realizing his friend has disappeared sometime during your conversation
“You should come to volleyball practice, I can introduce you to Kiyoko, I think you two share some classes she can help show you around” he offered
“why can’t you help show me around?” you asked, smiling softly as he blushed again
“ i mean like, i am your soulmate but I get it if I make you uncomfortable or scare you or anything, so I don’t want to just assume-”
“Azumane, it’s okay. you don’t scare nor make me uncomfortable. I’ll come, it’d be great to meet her and your team, but I would really like it if you were the one to show me around”
“yeah okay, I can do that”
it seems your tattoo was right, he’s definitely not a threat
Tumblr media
Tanaka: TW SLIGHT HARASSMENT MENTION
“I’ll beat them up”
in one way, the placement was easy to hide (upper inner thigh)
but it was concerning nonetheless
why did your soulmate offer to beat someone up for you? this question had bugged you for years
now you’re in your second year of high school and decided to go to the Miyagi Prefectures volleyball qualifiers
well your friend dragged you along to watch his soulmate play, claiming he’s the best setter in the prefecture and you Have to see him at work
he had left you alone in the hall to go see his soulmate in the locker rooms before the game so you were just standing around minding your own business
you watched the crowd slowly thin out, assuming a game was starting soon
‘nows a good time to get snacks, no line!’ you thought, starting your look for a food stand
you ended up just a little bit lost when two boys approached you
“hi there, what’re you doing out here alone?” one asked, smiling politely at you
“my friend’s soulmate is playing today, he’s just wishing him good luck” you explain, making a move to walk past them
“what’s the rush?” the other asks, placing a hand on the wall beside you effectively blocking your  way
you sigh, turning fully to face him
“neither of those phrases is my soulmate mark, and I’m actively staying single until i meet them okay? so can you just let me move?”
they exchanged a look, irritation obvious on their faces
“well show us your mark then, because I don’t believe you”
“idiot, you don’t have to see My mark to know those aren’t Your words” you scoff, trying to walk around them the other way
you end up caged against the wall, putting your fists up ready to defend yourself
“hey, i think they said to leave them alone,” a new guy spoke from somewhere behind them, but you were unable to see him due to the two infront of you
“yeah, what he said” you snap, raising your fists a little higher
when the two turn around to face the new boy, you take that chance to dash out from behind them
you stand beside the new guy, glaring sharply
“didn’t your mother ever teach you what ‘no’ means or did she fail every other human being out there to spare your feelings?” you growl, subconsciously standing behind your saviour
“you’re lucky i don’t beat you up,” the man growls as well before turning to you, “I’ll beat them up.”
“I’ll help,” you snort, cracking your knuckles before realizing the words he said, “I’m sorry did you say ‘I’ll beat them up’”
He smiles broadly at you, holding his hand out, “Ryuunosuke Tanaka, and who might you be dear soulmate?”
“Y/N Y/L/N, thanks for stepping in soulmate,” you grin back
the two men had tried to step away as you and Tanaka made your introductions but Tanaka threw his arm out, catching their sleeves
“No no you’re not getting off that easy, not only were you Harassing a person, you were harassing my soulmate, lets get you to your coach why don’t we.”
“Y/N I’ll find you after my match, make sure to cheer for me! Karasuno!! See you soon” he smiled, dragging the two men behind him

hi!! i liked your works a lot and i wanted to request f, j and o for akaashi and atsumu? thanks a lot <33
fluff alphabet f, j, and o for akaashi keiji and miya atsumu
a/n: ahh i hope these aren’t too long haha, thank you so much for requesting!! :))
Akaashi Keiji:
F = Feelings (When did they realize their feelings? How did it change their behavior towards you?)
Akaashi quietly observes you for a while
Your little tics and reactive expressions ingrain themselves into his brain until he can close his eyes and picture your face almost perfectly
You’re studying together one day, and it starts off with the standard frequent side glances and an endearing awkwardness
But at some point, he feels himself leaning towards you subconsciously
Not in an obvious way, Akaashi just suddenly felt the urge to scootch closer to you or maybe to brush away that stray piece of your hair that had come undone
He immediately jerks himself back with a mildly troubled look on his face (on the inside this man is having a whole-ass existential crisis)
You tilt your head as you glance at him, and that’s when he knows
Akaashi’s already familiar with your different expressions of annoyance, sadness, happiness, etc., but your face right now was so innocent and clueless and cute and precious - he just felt an overwhelming urge to tell you about all the warm, helpless feelings you give him
He doesn’t, of course, because Akaashi at least tries to plan these things out
His realization doesn’t change his behavior a lot (he’s as sarcastic, chill, and straightfoward as always), but he does start doting on you more
He asks if you got enough sleep last night, sometimes offers to share his lunch with you, even gives you his jacket when you were shivering a little
Pure boi just wants to take care of you; it makes him feel more connected and might just be how he hints at his feelings to you
J = Jealousy (What makes them jealous? How do they deal with jealousy?)
Normally a pretty chill dude that you wouldn’t think ever gets jealous
It’s true that Akaashi definitely has complete faith in you and knows you can handle yourself
He also tends to internalize when it comes to feelings like jealousy because he knows they’re not rational
But that still doesn’t stop him from paying extra attention when you’re talking to other guys
Frowning, he monitors your situation from a distance. You might think he’s not paying attention, but the moment he sees signs that you’re uncomfortable or that the other person is getting too comfortable with touching you, he intervenes
Akaashi’s got skills galore at interjecting himself into conversations, and now he’s calling upon all of them plus his passive aggresive expertise
“(Name), please introduce me to this person. As your boyfriend, I’d really like to know who your acquaintances are.”
Narrows his eyes at the other person when he says “acquaintance”
Highkey throwing all the shade right then, but even after you introduce him, he subtly ends the conversation and pulls you away (after which he feels much more relaxed and comfortable)
Basically admits it if you tease him for being jealous
“Yeah, I was. Is there a problem with me feeling protective of you, love?”
O = Over (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)
If Akaashi at any point liked you enough to be in a relationship with you, he will hold that respect for you forever
Even if you made a mistake, he’ll continue to believe that you deserve a least an in-person meeting before breaking up
He thinks it over a lot before making the decision to break it off
This isn’t something he’d ever take lightly, and he’d use at least a good week to process and think about any alternatives
If there’s truly no other way, he’ll text you to meet him somewhere private, like a small cafe or secluded park
Akaashi tells you his intentions as soon as you arrive; there’s no point in dragging this out and hurting the both of you further
He’s very solemn as he tries to explain, and he tries to state his reasons as clearly as possible, but his mind is a whirlwind at that moment
Respectfully leaves after a few minutes, but when he gets to the car he can feel his eyes watering and hands shaking
Bokuto helps him a lot by keeping him active and engaged with his surroundings, but Akaashi can’t help but lie awake at night thinking about you
It’ll take him at least two or three weeks to start moving on in life, but he’ll always look back on the good times you two shared fondly
Atsumu Miya:
F = Feelings (When did they realize their feelings? How did it change their behavior towards you?)
I think his feelings will hit him all of a sudden
He’ll catch himself at home wondering what you’re doing at that moment
And Atsumu starts realizing that he thinks about you more than himself
He’s not used to thinking about anyone that’s not himself, his spikers, or (occasionally) Osamu
So maybe he sees you struggling with something and, after teasing you a little, he helps you
And when you thank him with a sweet smile, he actually feels himself blush
All he can think is just “oh hell no i cannot be a simp right now”
After that incident, Atsumu might avoid you for a bit (he sees you in the hallway and literally spins on his heel, running into the nearest room to keep cool)
But his sets are noticeably less focused than normal, and Osamu forces Atsumu to man up and talk to you
He becomes a little more conscious of what he says to you. You notice that his mocking insults are almost fond sounding now and that he backs off a lot quicker if he sees he hit something sensitive
He tells himself that it’ll help you feel the same way
Because if being more sensitive to your feelings could make you fall as hard for him as he did for you, then that’s what he’ll do
J = Jealousy (What makes them jealous? How do they deal with jealousy?)
He’s used to getting what he wants, and when you’re not paying attention to him, he’s not
Cue pouty Atsumu
It’s not that he doesn’t trust you, he just doesn’t like anyone other than him looking at you like that
Feels protective because he knows how amazing you are and how much you tempt him (and if he’s that affected by you, who knows what other people could be thinking about you?)
Like one time, he sees you talking with Osamu, and you have the brightest smile on your face that he absolutely adores... but it’s not directed at him
Clenching his jaw, he immediately storms up to you both and snakes his arms tightly around your body from behind
“Babee, pay attention to me...” Atsumu directs a withering glare at his twin, “‘Samu, get outta here!”
If he feels threatened because a stranger is talking to you, he’ll be less kind (he might get triggered because you started blushing or maybe there was some kind of physical touch involved, which can be as minor as a touch to the shoulder, but Atsumu is not about it)
Straight up stalks over to you both, placing an arm aggresively over your shoulder
“Hey, who’s this?? Actually nahh, it doesn’t matter because he’s insignificant~ C’mere babe, let’s go. Bye now, stranger!”
O = Over (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)
Hm... Atsumu might send a break-up text idk :p
But more likely he’ll give you a call
I just feel like he might be too emotional to do it in person
Depending on his reasons, maybe he’s scared that he might snap at you and leave you feeling like trash (because no matter what the reasons are, he never wants to lash out at you like that)
So he sends a warning text like “we have to talk about something serious” and then call so he can at least break the news with his own voice
Atsumu’s words might come off nonchalant and almost harsh, but it’s accidental; it’s kind of a defense mechanism
He doesn’t want to hurt you, but he’s also so close to a mental breakdown that he can’t figure out how to break things off earnestly without becoming a crying, blubbering mess
So his words can seem cold, especially when you’re in such a fragile emotional state
But he stays on the line with you for as long as you need, silent as you express your emotions as freely as you want
But if you cry a lot, or your voice is really shaky, this man probably starts tearing up along with you
Just a mutual crying fest by the end, but Atsumu’s still not the type to change his mind unfortunately
He would’ve had to believe his reasons 100% to think about breaking things off with you
Still, he’s depressed and grumpy for the couple weeks after
Gets a little (read: a lot) bitter if someone happens to mention you
Volleyball helps him immensely during this time
He throws himself into improving his setting and techniques, rep after rep
Atsumu tries to avoid all thoughts related to you because they never fail to make his chest hurt
In the end, he knows it was his own decision so he tries hard to move on

before tsukishima's tweet upload, you had already put your phone away. not that it mattered to the blonde guy, obviously, because he was sure you wouldn't even think it was to catch your attention. either perks or drawback of being hung up on someone as oblivious as you were, he thought.
you, on the other hand, were using the days away from your routine to take tsukishima out of your mind, and so far, you were doing a pretty good job. just as you tilted your head up, kuroo handed a bottle of beer towards you, winking an eye while at it. you smiled, trying to ignore the butterflies beginning to form in your belly. something within him had changed this past few days, sure, he was still the same old kuroo who cried after making you fell from your bike when you were six, but every little thing he did now, left you with a warm feeling inside, followed by a subtle fear to the unknown. the only person who made you feel like that before was kei, in what seemed a lifetime ago.
"hey, snap out of it" kenma snapped his fingers in front of your face trying to get your attention back, "this is a serious discussion"
"what was it, again?" you wondered, a little ashamed of having no idea of what your friends were talking. bokuto's mouth opened, completely offended at your question.
"who is a better princess, ana or elsa?" responded akaashi, before stuffing his mouth in french fries. you mocked in disgust, akaashi was one handsome man, but that image could easily destroy his reputation.
"well, elsa is a queen" bokuto jumped from his place at your comment, even more offended than before, pointing a finger at you.
"i can't believe you just said that! i can't– i had faith in you!" you arched your eyebrow, confident in your answer.
kenma took a sip of his drink before exposing his arguments on why ana was the better sister and a more fitting queen, with such a certainty you couldn't avoid a proud smile. this was the same boy who got panick attacks every time he had to speak in class. your head drifted to the black haired boy by your left, who held an entertained grin witnessing the serious debate. kuroo had refrained from giving his opinion, more focused on the increasing discussion than in making himself noticed. his fingers were playing with the mouth of the bottle, following a weird rythm with no sound. if you paid enough attention, you could catch on a lot of kuroo's little habits. your eyes found his when your look went back up, iniciating a blush in both. he looked away first, fairly scared to give away his secret, and so did you, scared to face what you knew was going on.
"look how fast bokuto starts screaming" kuroo whispered to you once he regained his composure, already smiling for what he was about to do. "all your princesses kiss the ground where moana walks, uncultured bastards" exactly as he predicted, poor bokuto started screaming insults at both you and kuroo.
"you don't know shit! what the fuck do you learn in college, huh? moana, for fuck's sake! you hear that, akaashi!?..."
kuroo walked to the couch, wheezing in laughter. everyone in your friend group knew that bokuto couldn't hold his alcohol at all, meaning he was a goner after four beers, and he would fight with anyone about anything, even things he didn't agree on. a sober bokuto would've agreed with kuroo, because he claimed proudly moana as his favorite movie. your legs moved on their own towards tetsurō, after laughing a little at how well kuroo could handle koutaro. his cheeks lighted up instantly when you cuddled against his body, not that someone could notice at such low lights. maybe it was the alcohol starting to make effect, but you didn't care at the moment, instead, you just buried your head on kuroo's chest before closing your eyes.
from the table, only a few meters away, both akaashi and kenma had their eyes glued on you, completely ignoring bokuto's tantrum about your past debate. kenma couldn't help but think an "i told you so", sighing simultaneously with akaashi. in fact, akaashi wasn't sure about kuroo's feelings for you, but he did have an idea. the way the former captain looked at you wasn't friendly in any form
"what are you doing?" muttered tetsurō, low enough for only you to hear. your heart skipped a beat at that question, afraid to have mistaken the signs, if there were any signs to be mistaken.
"do you want me to move away?" your soft voice managed to hide every hint of doubt in yourself, captivating kuroo in your fake confidence.
"no, stay" he mumbled as his arm covered your back, finding its way to your hair and making sure you weren't going anywhere. you smiled, getting drunk on his manly perfume, trying to bury your face even more on the crook of his neck.
kuroo was undoubtedly someone special to you, one of those persons you couldn't live without. it wasn't the first time your head wondered on what if he became something more, a silly daydream you had since you met each other that got forgotten after tsukishima entered your life. tsukishima... somehow you always went back to him. he felt like home, like safeness, a place where you knew everything, but he also embodied all those tears you shed for him, those long nights where you laid awake questioning if you were enough, and the worst of all, the feeling of emptiness when he finally left. tsukishima was love, but he was also pain, and you weren't sure if you were able to look past the bad things.
kuroo, in contrast, was completely unexplored terrain. he had never been more than a friend since you knew him, not to your eyes at least, but his way of being around you had completely changed since you asked that stupid favor. his voice got sweeter, his touch got more delicate, his gaze... his gaze overflowed with so much feelings you coudln’t separate one from another. no remorse was held between you two, leaving aside little dumb fights, your good memories with kuroo seemed endless, filled with laugh and joy.
kuroo meant new beginnings, a whole bunch of things to be discovered, he was showing you the beauty of the unknown. Instead, tsukishima represented a stability, a place you always went back to, despite what drove you apart so long ago. how could you be torn between two persons so different, yet, made you feel equally good?
you sighed heavily, trying to get away from all those thoughts. you were driving yourself crazy with boys who haven’t even told you anything, there was a high posibility you were making all their “hints” up. deep inside, you prayed it was like that, but right that moment, kuroo’s hug tightened, almost as if he felt you stressing out. you messed up getting yourself in the middle of this emotional chaos.

Tsukishima, Yamaguchi and Akaashi with a dancer s/o
requested: hi!! may I request the same hc of "their s/o being a dancer" but with kei, yamaguchi and akaashi? (if u already did I'm sorry) thank you ♡
I really tried my best coming up with new ideas for this :D thank you for requesting!
Tsukishima Kei:
Tumblr media
You didn’t have the chance to tell you about your hobby yet, but he was always wondering where you were when you said you didn’t have time to hang out because of other things
He didn’t think much about it, but one afternoon his curiosity got the best of him and he looked up where you were on snap map or so and he decided to head over
When he arrived he was so confused, there were all these people in training clothes and music blasting from every room he passed
He found you just on coincidence, seeing your familiar figure move along to the beat of the music in one of the rooms
He had so many questions oh my god, but at first he literally stared at you while you danced like your life depended on it. He never saw you this happy and carefree before, the smile on your face honest and blinding as your lips moved along to the lyrics of the song
You are so shocked when you see him in the mirror standing somewhere in the crowd, towering over pretty much everyone. You stop in your movements and turn around to see his slightly reddened face and you don’t know how to feel for a second
But then you break out in a big smile and just run over to him, rambling about how you’ve wanted to tell him for a long time
Tsukki is still shook, but then a smug smile finds its way to his lips and he goes like: “I knew that boy of yours didn’t just come out of nowhere.” and you blush so hard
Afterwards he sometimes goes to practice with you and especially loves it when it’s just you and him and the music blaring through the room
He could watch you perfectly moving along to the music for hours, he finds it fascinating how you capture every single beat and lyric, the overall mood of the song with your moves. You really make the song come alive
Never ask him to dance with you because this boy can’t dance to save his life, the only time you’ll catch him dancing is at prom. But only one dance with you and that’s about it
Prefers letting you dance, but will glance deadly at every guy that he catches staring at you. He’s the only one allowed to stare at you while you dance
Yamaguchi Tadashi:
Tumblr media
Okay so you told him right in the beginning of your relationship and he was so amazed and wanted to know everything.
How long have you been dancing? Do you have a preferred dance style? What’s the best dance you did so far? What’s your favorite choreography?
And most importantly: Will you show him something?
At first you felt embarrassed if your boyfriend would watch you so you said no, saying how you weren’t satisfied with your current dancing
But he was so sweet and assuring, saying how you would look great no matter what
After that he was always so curious about what you were doing, so you sent him some videos and it was all he could watch and think about for days. He took some screenshots of it, made a collage and then made it his phone background
One day he decided to surprise you at your dance studio, finally wanting to see you dance in person. So he went there and was so overwhelmed by everything, really. All the people, the music, the overall atmosphere.
He got a little insecure when he saw all the other guys dancving and moving their bodies, thinking how he could never do something like that. He was a little shy to ask around for you, but he was the more relieved when he finally found you.
And he was just bewitched from the first second on. The videos don’t even get close to the way you look in real life when dancing. You were like a fairy moving around effortlessly, your hair swinging through the air, your whole body focused on the moves you made. Still, it looked so effortless when you danced. Were you even real? How did he even get to date you?
You jump a little when you see him after practice, but you immediately relax when you see his smiling expression. He was literally glowing with pride - you were his partner. His.
Afterwards he comes to watch you dance often and won’t shut up about you in front of the team and especially Tsukki but they all love him so they don’t tell him to shut up.
Also sometimes when he finds a choreo really interesting he asks you to teach him certain moves and it’s so soft and cute because he gets so flustered when your body is that near to his and you’re touching him everywhere oh god his skin gets so hot you think he might have a fever-
A cute supportive boyfriend
Akaashi Keiji:
Tumblr media
He probably also knew from the beginning. You either told him or Bokuto did, as he once caught you dancing in the seemingly empty gym
And even though he was curious he didn’t force you to show him immediately, knwoing you might be uncomfortable with him around, since he also felt a little nervous when you watched his practice
Sometimes he just caught you wearing your dance outfits, your hair a mess and your face a little sweaty and he thinks you look so endearing like that, so his desire to see you dance grows with every day
He expected to see you dancing at your dance studio, but the first time he catches you dancing is at your house. He came over after practice one afternoon, finding the door unlocked since you expected him
And he found you in the middle of the living room, music blaring loudly from the speakers as you swayed your hips, flipped your hair, moved your hands and body
And let me tell you - he was whipped. Short-circuited and could just stand there and stare at you while you didn’t even notice him because you where so into it
You drive him absolutely insane and so when the music stops he quickly comes up behind you and captures you in his arms, pressing your back close to his chest and placing small kisses from your shoulders, along your neck and then to your cheek before telling you how good you just looked.
Asks you to do it again and he films the whole thing and watches it over and over again when he leaves.
When he comes from practice or a game and he’s really down or exhausted sometimes you play one of his favorite bands or songs, dancing around to it to cheer him up and he’ll actually join you occassionally because let me tell you - Akaashi Keiji is a surprisingly good dancer ok
Also loves couple dances - just some lazy, slow music sounding through the room as he swirls you around and you barely move on the spot, just enjoying his presence and hold on you
The perfect boyfriend
(also comes and hypes you up at competitions and Bokuto joins him and they’re just so loud please)

Pairing: Atsumu Miya x Reader Words: 2.6k Warnings: None that i’m aware of Part 1 | Part 3
Your whole day was shrouded in dejavu. It’s been a week since your stair incident, and you’d be lying if you said you weren’t looking out for your saviour all week. You found yourself scanning crowds wherever you went on campus, be it a quiet library or a busy cafe. You’d mentally slap yourself when you caught yourself doing it. What would you even do if your eager eyes found his again? You were slightly aggravated at his absence. Who the hell catches someone on the stairs, casually calls them pumpkin and then disappears? Even now, your whole lecture seemed a haze as you kept wondering about what would happen once you stepped out of class. Would he be there again? A part of you wished he would, though you didn’t know what it would lead to aside from an awkward smile. Your fingers idly fiddled with your little bat stud earrings as your mind drifted here and there. The accessory was small and tasteful, but they still had the spooky spirit. You didn’t even notice the lecture come to an end until your friend was prodding your shoulder with an insistent finger. Quickly gathering your things, you followed your friend to the dreaded staircase. You turned around, half expecting the boy from last week to be behind you, but the hallway was empty. Your chest felt tight. Was it relief? Or did you hope he would be there? Your friend surprisingly made no comments about the incident last week, though you did make sure to hold onto the rail as you made your way down.
After a week of searching, a pair of familiar eyes finally found yours after you stepped outside the double doors of your block. Would it be naive of you to think he waited for you? You felt an additional set of eyes on you, a gaze belonging to someone with wildly styled black and white hair. You barely registered the other person next to the golden haired boy before he caught your attention again.
“Did ya make it down the stairs safely this time?” he said with a melodic laugh, “Or did someone else have to catch ya?” he asked, his eyes drifting to your friend who seemed to share his amusement. On the other hand, your mysterious hero’s friend’s face flooded with realisation upon hearing his teasing regarding stairs, putting two and two together.
A grand blush and slight frown morphed your face, opening your mouth to respond that actually, you made it down just fine, but you were interrupted before you could get even one syllable out.
“Oh! Is that them, Atsumu?” He asked, oddly enthusiastic.
Atsumu. His name was now branded on your brain, filling out all the gaps in your daydreams. Your friend’s head darted to the new person in the equation. Did he drop his name on purpose? Either way, an idea quietly blossomed in their mind as they watched the interaction play out.
You, however, were astounded. Before Atsumu could even react to his friend’s question, you blew up, clearly mortified.
“You TOLD HIM?” you exclaimed, gripping the strap of your bag to ground yourself. Atsumu’s eyes snapped from confused to entertained in seconds, letting out another laugh.
“Sorry, Pumpkin, it’s not every day I get to be a hero,” he explained, though his tone was anything but apologetic. Unbelievable. How could he call you that so casually, as if it didn’t set your racing? His satisfied eyes left yours to acknowledge your laughing friend. They exchanged a few comments about last week’s incident, sharing jokes about your ordeal, however you weren’t able to focus, no matter how annoyed you might be. You felt an electrifying gaze fixed on you; Atsumu’s friend was staring at you, unblinking, as if absorbing your entire essence. You tried to avoid his borderline glaring, shrinking back as if it would make you disappear from his line of sight. Atsumu noticed you were no longer defending yourself from his or your friend’s teasing, clocking how uncomfortable you suddenly looked. His eyebrows stitched themselves into a quick frown, his voice switching from light and playful to deep and stern.
“Oi, Bokuto, don’t stare.” he said, flicking said friend in the temple to snap him out of his trance. He yelped out a melodramatic OW, mumbling out an apology as he rubbed his head and avoided staring or even glancing at you. Atsumu’s hands returned to the pockets of his blue hoodie, his smile providing a seemingly genuine apology. Bokuto, as you had just learned, tapped away on his phone. His miserable demeanour quickly melted away as his head whipped around. Almost immediately you heard someone yell his name. You spotted a bright head of ginger hair in the distance, waving enthusiastically, shouting something about hurrying up and being late. Bokuto shouted back at the boy, looking to Atsumu expectantly. The boy in question gave you another warm smile.
“Stay safe, yeah? I can’t always be around,” he teased.
“And you stop bragging and telling people about what happened,” you said, a bit more hostile than you intended, “it’s embarrassing,” you muttered under your breath, but loud enough for him to catch your words. He only responded with a hum, not accepting nor denying your plea. And with that he turned and walked away, Bokuto giving you a loud BYE and wave as he ran ahead to meet with the ginger boy. You grumbled something incohesive. That went nowhere. Were you destined to see him once a week? For him to plague your thoughts for days, later thinking you’re over it only for him to show up and fuel your mind all over again? It seemed unfair. You were dragged out of your thoughts by your friend’s drawn out groan.
“He left way too soon,” they stated, “I was totally gonna drop your name before he went.” They crossed their arms, clearly, if not more, dissatisfied than you were. You only looked at them quizzically. You didn’t want to admit that maybe you liked him not knowing your name. Using Pumpkin as a placeholder was awfully cute. “Well hey, at least you know his name now.” You shrugged, still trying to appear disinterested to your friend, though that fact was the only thing on your mind. You started to walk towards the library. Your friend followed, glancing back to see Atsumu and his friends to have already vanished from the scene. As you entered the building, holding the door open for your friend, you noticed them giving you a cheeky smile. You tilted your head in question.
“He told people about you,” they said as they nudged you. You blushed but put on a defensive front nonetheless.
“What’s your point? As if you wouldn’t tell people you saw someone fall,” you accused.
“Ok well-” they were cut off by a sharp shhh from a nearby librarian. They raised their hand in apology and followed after you, searching the aisles to find you. “I think this was different,” they whispered.
“Why?” you couldn’t help but feel hope bubbling up inside you. Your friend looked around before responding, the sentence too long to simply whisper.
“Well you saw the way the other guy looked at you. He was curious, as if he was trying to figure something out. And he dropped his name out of nowhere. He’s totally acting as his wingman,” your friend winked, though you seemed unconvinced. The name drop didn’t seem deliberate to you, but you had to admit there was something odd about his stare.
“And,” your friend lifted a finger to illustrate their point, “he didn’t laugh.” This caught your attention.
“What?”
“He didn’t laugh! If Atsumu was talking about you and treating you as some kind of joke, surely the guy would have joined in on the teasing. But he didn’t.” Your friend looked satisfied with their theory. You hummed, considering their arguments.
“I guess you have a point,” you said, emphasising the word guess to signify your still present doubts.
“Trust me, you’ll see him again next week,” they caught the glare from the same librarian and lowered their voice, “or sooner!” They gave you a wide, encouraging smile. You sincerely hoped that would be the case. Only time could tell.
-
The days got increasingly colder as your semester went on. It was a Wednesday morning, and though you only had one fairly short class today, it wasn’t a day you particularly enjoyed as you and your friend were in separate classes, yours being in the afternoon. You’d accompany your friend to the campus, and waiting alone was no fun task. Yes, you could use this time to be productive and study, but you’d much rather watch people out of the grand window of the main building, your eyes following random figures as they bustled around, getting to wherever they needed to be. Yes, maybe you were using this time to spot a familiar mess of blonde hair, but you wouldn’t admit that to anybody. Not even yourself. You took out your phone to check the time, groaning when you saw you still had at least 2 hours to waste. You tapped your fingers on your knee, pondering your next move. Maybe you should study a bit.
You lifted yourself with a sigh, readjusting your new pumpkin hair pins for good measure and headed for the revolving doors. The cold air slammed into you as soon as you stepped out, the temperature shock being so severe that you had to give yourself a second to calm your watering eyes. You fixed up your scarf to cover up more of your neck, setting your destination for the library. Before you could even take a few in your desired direction, something made you stop in your tracks.
“Hey!! Pumpkin!!” a certain someone shouted across the small, busy, university square. Your head swivelled around far too quickly, subconsciously finding too much identification with the nickname. Your eyes were wide when you spotted Atsumu surrounded by a group of friends, amongst which you only recognised Bokuto, who gave you a grin. Atsumu waved at you casually, apparently not finding an issue with publicly labelling you with such a cute nickname. The group seemed equally unfazed, as if used to his antics, though their eyes were trained on you with a certain curiosity. Atsumu had a sly smile on his face when he saw your blush, even at a distance. Bokuto eagerly beckoned you over, to which you looked to Atsumu for confirmation. He coaxed you to come with a nod of his head, his hands comfortable in his pockets. You covered the lower half of your face with your scarf in an attempt to hide your warm blush and made your way over to the group. You were greeted with nods and quiet hellos, though they knew it was pointless as you and Atsumu had your eyes trained only on one another.
“Hey,” he spoke in that deep voice that made your face feel even hotter.
“Hey,” you replied, though you noticed your response was muffled by your scarf. You quickly tugged it down to speak clearly, at which he chuckled. “Hey.” you tried again. Atsumu’s gaze subtly drank in your appearance, definitely noting the new accessories in your hair. By now he figured this was an October exclusive, and he missed them already though November was still weeks away. Bokuto shoved himself between you and Atsumu, breaking the silent tension, not only between the two of you, but the whole group.
“Hello! My name is Bokuto, you already heard his name,” he pointed to Atsumu, but his eyes never left yours, “you are?” he looked at you expectantly, his golden eyes piercing through you. You blinked. Was he really his wingman? Or was he just very VERY excitable? You noticed he was also holding out his hand for a greeting handshake. You took it cautiously, alarmed at how his grip and shake almost rocked your entire body.
“Y/n,” you managed to stutter once his grip lessened. You didn’t catch the glint of jealousy in Atsumu’s eyes. He quickly moved in to take your now available hand. Your eyes shot up to meet him.
“Y/n,” he tested your name on his tongue, immediately loving the taste. “Nice to formally meet ya,” he put a teasing emphasis on the word formally, alluding to your first meeting. Your barriers regarding the embarrassing event finally seemed to break down, feeling comfort in his warm hands, accepting his teasing as non malicious. You giggled.
“Yes,” you agreed “nice to formally meet you,” you said with an equally playful tone. Atsumu tried to look unfazed at your smile, your giggling, the way your body language no longer looked so tense. Though to you he looked just as composed and relaxed as any other time, his friends could easily tell he was close to losing his cool. He noticed he was still holding your hand and quickly let go, but played it off by nonchalantly putting them back in his pockets.
Bokuto looked between the two of you. He knew Atsumu wanted to ask you to come to one of their games, but he didn’t want to scare you off by being too forward too soon. He could almost see the gears turning in his head, testing out the different scenarios and how to bring it up, whether to simply ask you to come, or to ask if you have any interest in volleyball, or to just casually bring it up and see how you respond. Before either Bokuto or Atsumu could speak up, someone else in the group spoke up.
“Where’s Hinata? We’re going to be late to the meeting.” grumbled a boy with a face mask, unbothered by the way it muffled his words.
“Ah, he must still be practicing in the gym,” explained Atsumu, taking out his phone to check the time.
“What…” the masked boy frowned even more. Practicing? With who? The whole team was here. Surely he wasn’t just jumping around in an empty gym hall.
Your head tipped to the side in interest.
“Practice? What do you play?” You took in Atsumu’s build. You should have guessed he was some kind of athlete. His face brightened at the opportunity.
“Ah, volleyball,” he hummed.
“You should come watch us play some time!” Bokuto jutted in, his face slightly too close to yours. Atsumu grabbed the back of his hood to jerk him back. You let out a small laugh, finding it amusing how this is the second time Atsumu had to control Bokuto. He tried to ignore the flutter in his chest when he heard you laugh, releasing the iron grip on his friend.
“Definitely,” his voice was almost a purr. You swallowed and nodded. His demeanour went back to bright and playful, “perfect, I’ll let ya know when somethin  comes up.” You nodded again as if in a trance, making him smile fondly. He quickly checked the time again and turned to go. “See ya ‘round then, yeah?” he said with a wave. You waved in response.
“Just don’t cheer when he serves.” said the masked boy sternly before he went to follow the retreating group. His voice sent an unpleasant shiver down your spine. It seemed like a threatening warning rather than friendly advice on sports etiquette. You turned back in the direction of the library, not wanting to stare at the group until they disappeared. Your walk to your destination seemed a haze. You wondered when you’d hear from him again, and cursed at yourself for not asking him for his phone number. There’s always next time, you thought to yourself.
Till next time, then.

Too fast for love
Word count: 1,968
Pairing: Vince Neil!Yuuji x reader
Warnings: swearing, mentions of violence, drugs, cheating, alcohol and a lot of sexual references and mentions
General taglist: @astrooliver
Series masterlist
Yuuji only wanted to be loved. He was quite narcissistic on the outside, that much was clear, however deep inside he still was the little boy who came from a broken home.
His parents couldn´t care less about him, kicking him out after he got suspended from school.
Looking back he couldn´t even blame them.
He´s always been a little shit, even as a child.
Living in a bad neighborhood like his was rough, he lived in between two rivaling gangs and got caught up more often than not in their violent antics.
He fucking hated it.
Just like the rest of the band he never felt like he belonged.
Yuuji was an outcast like the rest of them.
And outcasts automatically were drawn to each other, it was a weird rule the universe set up.
Maybe this was the rule they really should´ve broken instead of all the other ones that got them into trouble.
But you couldn´t change the past, only regret remained.
Thus, he met the one and only Bokuto Koutaro, a ray of sunshine and chaotic as can be.
Seriously, if Yuuji was asked to describe his friend in one word it would be wild.
However he was the only thing that made school at least halfway bearable.
Still, that didn´t make his grades get better suddenly and even less did it help get him out of trouble.
If anything Yuuji got into even more trouble because of Koutaro.
Not that the blond was innocent. Not at all.
Yuuji still blushed red out of embarrassment when he remembered all the things he fucked up.
He used to boast to Koutaro about fucking girls left and right, about sneaking in the restroom and asking around who wanted some.
After all he was a man of his word.
Over time he got braver, fucking them everywhere he pleased, until he got caught by the teachers.
At this point it was already decided that he wasn´t going to stay at school.
Not that he wanted to anyway, he skipped classes whenever he pleased and was only there to hang out with Koutaro, fuck some and smoke some.
If he did attend classes, chances were he was drunk.
A living human failure.
That was what he called his younger self nowadays.
Sometimes he just couldn´t help but laugh at his antics, a chuckle escaped his lips as he told you about the time he sneaked into prom to hang out with Koutaro and the cheerleaders to smoke some pot.
It was a miracle he didn´t get caught.
Koutaro and him always competed with their sexual encounters, though years later when the band came to be, it got too much to keep a list.
Yuuji had trouble finding a place to live after getting kicked out by his parents and so he made it a habit crashing at his current girlfriend´s place.
Naturally that didn´t always work out, especially since he didn´t make the best impression and even though he was always careful to stay hidden, somehow he always got found out.
Another problem was that he had multiple girlfriends at the same time so that he could switch between places and pussy.
He was an asshole like that, thinking back on it he couldn´t help but groan in embarrassment.
How the fuck did he even get you to stay with him? It was a miracle and the best thing that ever happened in his life.
You were an angel, you were always there to ground him, he had more fun with you than with everyone else he ever dated before.
The idea of being in a band started when Koutaro told him that he was playing the drums and playing in front of a few people at some parties.
It sounded intriguing to say the least.
Yuuji knew those parties, he knew that the band always got to fuck every girl they wanted, taken or not.
He wanted that too.
He wanted to get every girl too, he wanted to acknowledgment from his friends too, or friends overall.
And so, he made a band of his own. They only did covers but that didn´t matter.
A bunch of guys who could play decently enough and him, the hot lead singer.
It was like everything was falling into place, if only he had stayed with that band.
Yuuji got everything he wanted, small gigs at parties, girls, drugs, guys who were jealous of him.
And it felt like a fucking dream, he felt like the king of the world.
But he was just a little boy with an ego that was way too big for his small body.
That ego massively increased when he got recruited by Tetsuro, Keishin and Koutaro.
Sure, Tetsuro and Keishin were weirdos, with their hair and makeup, their strange clothes. But Koutaro was still the same old.
He still was the same guy who let him into his van when Yuuji was homeless, kicked out by what seemed to be the hundredth girl.
It was good to see him again, more than that. Yuuji remembered everything they´ve already been through together and couldn´t help but smile. He couldn´t wait to play with Koutaro and see what was to come.
And when he listened to the tape he gave him and showed up to their place with his current girlfriend, he didn´t even think about regretting anything.
It seemed like the best decision he ever made at that point.
Once he stepped through that door, watching his girlfriend nag and bitch about the boys who just chuckled, he felt like he belonged.
Truly belonged, it felt long term sort of, not temporary.
She was saying all sorts of things how the boys weren´t good enough for him, how the music was too heavy but Yuuji knew that this was exactly what he wanted to do.
Simply covering songs didn´t do anymore when he saw the boys, he wanted to be a rockstar just like them, with them. As a band.
He never really sang anything remotely like metal, but he got the hang of it quickly.
The boys got along with him better than expected and so he moved into the rotten and infamous band house.
It should´ve concerned them how little time passed between their first meeting, their first practice and the actual recording of their first album.
It was never good when you rose to fame that quickly, selling out clubs you weren´t even allowed in.
Of course Yuuji never had trouble getting into the clubs he wanted to, he was attractive and a good lay, always had drugs on him too, everyone let him in.
They felt like kings, like they were at the top of the scene, not even regarding the fact that they spat on the legacy of so many hardworking legends that they adored and would scare away like everyone else in their lives.
It was lonely at the top, but there was nothing alcohol, drugs, girls, tattoos and motorcycles couldn´t solve.
Besides it wasn´t like it mattered anyway, the lonely feelings only showed when they had time to think, in sober moments.
Luckily there were no such moments for them.
Only parties, hell, the whole Tokyo metal scene partied at their dirty place, they got so many noise complaints that the cops just proceeded to barge into the house, to no avail though.
They simply nailed the door shut, opening the infamous window for everyone to get in.
They met a bunch of people at those parties, a bunch they´d piss off, but at the time they just were too arrogant and stupid to think of any consequences.
Hell, they´d be going on their first tour in a few days, it was crazy.
Yuuji was more nervous than he was for his first time, just seeing the amount of people that came to see him, the groupies who were waiting patiently to get fucked, it made him throw up.
Well, the drugs did, really.
People loved him, they adored and idolized him more than anything and he couldn´t handle it.
It made him an arrogant piece of shit, nobody could stop him, he loved bathing in the compliments and pussy he received.
The strip club became his second home, he remembered all the names of the girls at some point, they were such goddesses, dancing so sensually and the best thing was the mud wrestling.
He loved it so much that he installed a mud pit in his villa a few years later.
Life was a blurry rush to him, hopping from tour to studio, back home to his girlfriend he cheated on about a hundred times while he was away.
Vodka became his water, pussy his air, cocaine his bread and butter.
It was a miracle he could even sing on their concerts.
Well, at least he wasn´t as bad off as Tetsuro was, he could barely stand.
He remembered in one of their video shoots, he had long since forgotten which one, they had to hold him up so he wouldn´t collapse.
It was a mess.
Yuuji laughed it off back then.
Before the OD.
It really knocked him back into life when he saw his best friend die on TV.
It was like a bucket of cold water thrown into his face, Yuuji decided it was time to get sober, or well, their management did.
Tetsuro fired them afterwards anyway.
Yuuji and him didn´t get along at that time, the blond was way too mad at him for the stunt he pulled, not even telling them that he was fine after getting released from the hospital.
But instead the asshole bassist had the nerve to change his voicemail, demanding not to call him since he was dead.
It made Yuuji mad beyond belief.
Recording songs was difficult to say the least, they didn´t get anything done so he never showed up anymore.
Their management had enough after their last two albums failed so miserably, calling those monstrosities albums was an insult itself.
The boys just shot up and fucked around rather than producing new music.
At least they got about four decent songs out of this time.
Rehab was an experience for all of them.
Nobody took it seriously, they were rich, spending their money faster than earning it.
They were just talking in rehab anyway, it was cheesy bullshit.
Boys needed to fight not to talk.
How stupid he was back then, all of them were.
If they only took it seriously.
Maybe then things wouldn´t have to end like this, end in hating each other and still being forced to tour together.
Yuuji distanced himself from the band, finding you at his darkest moment and finally taking something serious, finally allowing himself to be vulnerable rather than vengeful.
You two spend some nice months together in solitude, you didn´t even do anything extravagant as he used to do before, you just enjoyed each other´s presence and that was more than enough.
It was more peaceful than anything in his life has ever been.
But of course the band wasn´t completely out of his life, approaching him after sobering up, for real this time, and turning their lives around.
And he accepted to return as their singer because he respected them, he respected nothing more than the honest effort they put into things.
The same hellish journey he´s been through with you.
Even after their final tour, they remained friends. True ones this time.
It was nice, spending the holidays together, doing mundane things they would´ve hated in their youths but now there was nothing better.
And so maybe their past didn´t completely define them. It gave Yuuji hope knowing that he could still change, that he could and would be better.
For you.

Something About the Stars Ch. 1: Ice Cream and Tears
You stare up at the ceiling blankly, not ready to get out of bed yet. It was somewhere around twelve, and you knew you needed to be somewhere, but you just weren’t ready to face the world yet. Despite that, you turned your head to the side to check the time, which read twelve-thirty. You could continue to lie in bed and get lost in your thoughts, but the commute from your new house to the river by Akaashi’s was about fifteen by foot, and you didn’t feel like delaying your news to your friends much longer.
With a groan, you stood up and stretched out, then picked up the outfit you’d set out the night before and get yourself ready for the day. You took a shower, changed, threw on a little makeup, and tossed your hair up in a messy bun. You checked yourself in the mirror, making sure you were presentable, and then headed downstairs.
You ran your hand along the wall as you walked down to the living room. You were still unsure of how you felt about this house, it was welcoming and warm, but it wasn’t your old house - it wasn’t your family's house. In this house, you felt like you could pretend things were alright with your family, but you didn’t have those memories as you did in the old one. Like you and your parents talking over a warm breakfast in the morning, and you’d send them off to work with a warm hug before heading off to be with your old school friends. Things weren’t like that here; they haven’t been like that for a while. Not since your mother left, after she walked out things just weren’t the same with you and your dad. They were tense, and you couldn’t stand the heaviness that hung in the air when you were alone with him.
That’s just how things were in your home, though, and you didn’t want to mess with it. You weren’t ready to mess with anything. So you would continue with your pretending, just like you would now as you finally made your way to the living room.
You pushed a half-full box of books out of your way - making a note to search through it for something to pass time later - and made your way to the dining room. Your father was already up eating lunch, which consisted of leftover pizza from last night and a slice of week-old apple pie. He sent you a jolly smile and referenced to the plate across from him that had the same contents. You sat across from him, sending a smile back at him.
The silence between both of you was comfortable for the most part - until your father broke it, that is.
“How was your nap, sleeping beauty.” he joked awkwardly. You gave a half-hearted chuckle and a small ‘good’, not able to find another way to respond.
This was how mornings - well technically afternoons - were with your father. He’d make an awkward joke or an attempt at conversation, and you would give an equally if not more uncomfortable response. Things didn’t flow right without your mom, especially since your father refused to acknowledge she even left in the first place. Arguments became common, especially over the whole soulmate subject, which you learned to avoid as much as possible.
After the long pause in the conversation, your father decided he would finally talk to you about the move. Of course, it was a bit too late for that, but you would humor him for both your sakes.
“Listen, I know this move is hard… but it’s for the best. This job is going to make a lot of money for us,” you sighed and frowned at him. He knew you didn’t care about the money at all. “and Nekoma is a fantastic school! It will give you better work opportunities, and a chance to make new friends who don’t fill your head with that ‘soulmate’ bullcrap.”
You scowled at him but decided to ignore his snide comment. Of course, he would bring that up, but you couldn’t change his mind, and you didn’t feel like arguing with him. You stood up with a frustrated sigh, not feeling hungry anymore
“Okay, let’s talk later. I gotta head out... meeting with some friends.” you turned quickly, hoping he would just let it lie; but of course he couldn’t.
He cleared his throat annoyedly, and you stopped respectfully without turning to look at him. You didn’t have to, to know what face he was making.
“Which friends?” he asked, trying to keep his voice level. You debated lying, but your father would be able to tell, and you didn’t feel like getting in even more trouble.
“Bokuto and Akaashi.” Obviously, who else did you hang out with?
He sighed, clearly annoyed “You know how I feel about those two, they fill your head with dumb ideas.”
You bit your tongue, lashing out wasn’t something you wanted to do “They’re not doing any harm. Just sharing some thoughts with me, it’s not wrong to have a little hope.”
“Kid, they’re giving you false hope, fake ideas! That soulmate shit is made up, and I don’t want you believing in something so… so… so asinine!”
You clench your fists so tightly you were sure you would draw blood, just keep yourself calm and things would be okay.
“Listen,” you said firmly, “I don’t care what you think about them or their beliefs, okay? I’m going to go see my friends, and nothing you say or do will stop me.”
You stood there for a few moments waiting for a response, almost scared he would lash out and you’d have to run before he stopped you. Luckily he stayed silent and still, so you walked away without even sparing him a glance.
“Just another day,” you whispered to yourself as you walked out the front door “just another life.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You made your way to the river, about ten minutes before your friends did, which was fine with you. You’d always liked to come to this river to think, or just get away from your house. Something about it felt calming and friendly - which was strange, considering you were talking about a river for goodness sake - like you somehow knew it. Maybe in a past life, you had come here before, but it felt deeper than that like you had a literal connection with it.
You didn’t have much more time to mull over your thoughts, though, as you were suddenly picked up and swung around like a ragdoll by none other than Bokuto. Following close behind was his unimpressed boyfriend, Akaashi. He sent you the, ‘Do you need me to stop him’ look, to which you shake your head and melted into the hug to convince him you were okay.
You two hugged for a couple of seconds more before finally, you broke the hug - never the hugger Bokuto was. Bokuto let out a childish chuckle as he stepped away, and you couldn’t stop yourself from giggling as well.
The three of you caught up a bit, and you completely forgot about everything bad in your life at the time. Something about the two of them brought out the best in you, and you had no idea what you’d do without them.
“So, what’d you want to talk about?” Akaashi brought up, as your previous conversation died down.
Just like that, you were back in the real world. You were still in a different house; your mother was still gone, and you were still struggling with the fact you were about to lose your only good friends.
“Oh, that! I almost forgot,” you feigned surprise, clearly not convincing Akaashi “just, some things happened, and it’s… a lot.”
“Your dad, again?” Bokuto shot you a worried look as he asked that.
You shake your head with a sigh, smiling gently at his concern. He was incredibly oblivious sometimes, but you loved that about him you supposed... you would miss him and Akaashi both.
“Not exactly. You know how I told you I was moving?” you could feel tears form, but you didn’t want to cry in front of them.
Akaashi nodded and Bokuto placed a hand on your shoulder, “Yeah, but didn’t you already move to the new place?” he asked gently with a hint of confusion lacing his voice.
“I-I did, but… I’m not just moving houses,” you swallowed and looked up in a last-ditch attempt to stop the tears, it didn’t work “I’m also transferring schools. S-so I won’t be going to Fukurodanai anymore… I’m sorry.”
Now you were fully crying, and you had to thank yourself for not putting on any mascara this morning lest you be even more of a mess. The couple in front of you didn’t move for a long moment after your confession, and you were almost convinced they would walk away without another word, but then you felt a pair of arms wrap around you. They weren’t Bokuto’s, however, but Akaashi’s. You were stunned for a moment, since Akaashi was hardly even affectionate with his boyfriend, but hugged him back tightly. Bokuto joined the hug not long after, whispering little words of reassurance to you. All three of you were crying, and making fools of yourselves in public, but you couldn’t bring yourselves to care. Right now, all that mattered was you, Bokuto, and Akaashi.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You weren’t sure how long you three stood there hugging and crying, but you eventually separated and decided you would go and get some ice cream. In Bokuto’s words, “Ice cream is the ultimate soul healing food.” and you honestly had to agree. When things were rough, your mother would take you to get ice cream, and it never failed to make the world a little brighter.
The three of you ate your ice cream in a welcomed silence, talking seemed like too much of a strain at the moment. Instead, you focused on eating your ice cream and watching the couple in front of you. They weren’t talking or doing anything super romantic, but you could tell how in love they were just by the way they were holding onto each other. You smiled softly at the sight, you were so happy for the two of them. You couldn’t wait until you found your soulmate and could have that kind of relationship with them.
You snapped out of your thoughts when you heard Bokuto chuckle at you. It was then that you realized you’d been staring for a very long time, and a blush crept up your cheeks. They both smiled at you, and Bokuto shook his head. He looked like he wanted to ask you something, so you sent him a skeptical look. It took him a moment, but it clicked in his head that you were allowing him to ask, and then he just went for it.
“So… we’re both going to miss you a lot this year, but…” he trailed off.
“But…?” you asked, a little curious about his thought process.
“But… I kind of want to know which school you’ll be going to instead, ‘cause if you go to certain ones we might be able to see you at the games and stuff!” he said excitedly.
Now that you think of it, he reminds you of a puppy - not the point.
“Uh… it’s Nekoma… you guys went up against them a couple of times, right?” you couldn’t remember if they did or not, but they way Bokuto’s face lit up after you said Nekoma was all the answer you needed.
“Yeah! Better yet, Kuroo goes there! I can get him to help you around, and I’ll put in a good word for you.” he winked at you.
You didn’t like it when Bokuto winked at you, because it meant he was going to do something stupid. You look over to Akaashi for help, only to find him smirking. What? He looked down at his phone to check the time and tugged on Bokuto’s arm. He let out a little groan of protest, as he was texting this ‘Kuroo’ friend of his.
“We have to go, practice is going to start soon.” he said in his usual tone of voice.
Bokuto let out an unhappy sigh and pocketed his phone before turning to you with a big smile.
“I promise we’ll keep in touch, just because you’re my rival now doesn’t mean I won’t talk to you,” he teased and I promise I’ll make you look really good for my friend okay!”
He was shouting across the shop as Akaashi dragged him away, and you giggled with a little wave to both of them. Then they were gone, but you weren’t feeling sad and lonely like you thought you would be. No, you felt happy, hopeful even. Maybe things would be okay after all, but you had no way to tell.

Konoha was smiling when Akaashi walked into the office.  That, in of itself, was not unusual.  Konoha spent the majority of the time smiling, even when his face was at rest he had a bit of a smile.  But Akaashi had been working with Konoha for years now and knew the man had exactly 39 different kinds of smile.  The one on his face was number 11 and Akaashi’s least favorite smile since it always spelt trouble for him.
It was too early to deal with Konoha and his eleventh smile so he made his way over to the coffee machine and began to make himself a cup.  He could feel Konoha’s amused gaze on his back and he gave a soft sigh that was covered up by the sound the machine was making.
“Good morning Akaashi.”  Suzumeda said, coming out of another part of the office to bring over creamer and sugar right when Akaashi had begun to look for it.
“Morning Suzumeda.”  Akaashi said amiably.  He was still suspicious of Konoha but he would never take that out on Suzumeda, though the more time she spent with them all the more mischievous she became.
“Did you tell him yet?”  Komi asked, most likely coming to sit up on Akaashi’s desk like he didn’t have a perfectly good chair to sit on.
“Not yet, he’s acting as if he pretends I don’t exist that makes the problem goes away.”  Akaashi wondered if he dropkicked Konoha that would make his problem go away.  Probably not, Konoha was quick on his feet when he wasn’t being a lazy asshole.  Suzumeda gave Akaashi an apologetic look but went over to stand with the other two traitors.
Akaashi curled his hands around the warm mug, his fingers were frigid despite the fact that he always wore gloves this time of the year.  He took a deep breath and turned on the other workers, technically his employee’s but that word always sounded wrong.  As his employee’s it felt as if he should have some kind of control over them, but he had lost that years ago.  He could lie to himself and say that he’d fire them if they weren’t so good at their jobs, but he and they knew better.
“What did you do now?”  Akaashi asked, watching Konoha’s grin widen as he turned his monitor towards Akaashi.
“Just got us a new job and this one is a request from an old friend on the police force.”  Akaashi felt surprised at that as he walked over to Konoha’s desk, catching his chair with his foot to pull it over so he could sit and look at whatever Konoha pulled up.
Akaashi ran a private investigation firm.  Despite how most people saw the life of a PI, it was much less glamorous than what they showed on tv or in movies.  It involved a lot of paperwork and research, and hours of sitting in frigid cars waiting for the perfect shot.  It also had to do with cheating spouses and things like leaked e-mails in companies, nothing that the police ever had to deal with.
Onaga had worked for Akaashi years before when he was still in high school.  He was bright and took orders well.  It came to no surprise to any of them when he quit to join the police force.  He rose up the ranks and worked with the blue color task force.  Onaga had lunch with all of them every Thursday unless they were busy.  He had never asked for help on a case before.
“Have you ever heard of the Fukurodani Group?”  Konoha asked, pulling up a picture of five young and fairly good looking men.  Akaashi searched his brain for the name since it did sound familiar.
“They are a tech company?”  Akaashi took a sip of his coffee to give himself another moment to remember what he knew about them.  “They made their first million before they graduated high school, where the five of them attended together.”
“They are certified geniuses.”  Konoha motioned to the picture.  “The company is worth billions now and that’s not including each individual net worth.  It’s been a decade and they’ve still managed to stay on top of an ever changing world of technology.  People fight over a chance to intern there, let alone work there.”
“Not to mention that they are young and beautiful.”  Komi piped up helpfully.  Konoha pointed to Komi and nodded his agreement.
“For Onaga to be involved it must mean they are suspected of doing something illegal?”  Akaashi asked.
“Incredibly so.”  Konoha sighed.  “Onaga was investigating, he found a way in through one of their close employees but he was found out.  Onaga suspects that they know the whole police department now so none of them can possibly try and get in to get information.”
“He thinks we can help?”  Akaashi asked dubiously, looking at the picture of the finely dressed men who earned more in a day than he would earn in his lifetime.
“Well, one of us in particular.”  Konoha switched to another picture.  “This is Bokuto Koutarou and next to him is his ex boyfriend, do you see what Onaga saw?”  Konoha’s grin was positively devious because it was clear why Onaga had come to them because Bokuto Koutarou, who was apart of the Fukurodani Group, his ex boyfriend had a striking resemblance to Akaashi.  There were key differences, Akaashi couldn’t help but notice.  Bokuto’s ex was clearly a model, his hair artfully dishelved instead of the windblown mess Akaashi couldn’t do a thing about on top of his own head.  His skin was flawless, his eyes sharp while Akaashi couldn’t seem to get rid of the dark circles under his eyes no matter how much he slept.
“He’s a better looking version of me?”  Akaashi asked flatly.  “I don’t see how that helps if they’ve broken up.  Why would Bokuto want a step down or someone who reminded him of his ex at all?”
“Because he’s heartbroken.”  Komi answered.
“And you’re beautiful.”  Suzumeda spoke up, making Akaashi’s lips tip up in a smile despite himself.
“How am I even supposed to get close to him?”  Akaashi asked doubtfully.
“Funny you should ask that.”  Konoha was really going to be the death of him, Akaashi knew that now.
--------------------
Akaashi should have gone into a maths major like his parents had suggested.  If he was an accountant he wouldn’t be expected to dress up as someone's ex boyfriend and be at a party that was well above his wealth and comfort zone to schmooze a man who was probably an asshole.  Akaashi couldn’t imagine Bokuto any other way, nor the other four from the Fukurodani Group, especially if they were participating in illegal activities.
Akaashi had done research on all five members, plus the business they had all built together.  Onaga had sent over what he had managed to pull together before he had been caught.  The five members were Bokuto Koutarou, Kuroo Tetsurou, Ogano Daiki, Gora Masaki, and Sawamura Daichi.  They had all attended the same high school, though Bokuto, Kuroo, and Sawamura had been friends for longer than that.  They had worked on a program that had made them millionaires before they had even graduated high school.
Things progressed quickly from there.  They amassed enough wealth to start their own tech company, and as Konoha had stated after ten years it was doing quite well.  The five were on practically every list from wealth to looks, if there was a list about the rich and beautiful then they found themselves on it.
Though Gora and Ogano had their own apartments, Kuroo, Bokuto, and Sawamura all lived together in a beautiful mansion that was now hosting a party to celebrate the decade of their success.  Konoha, jack of all trades that he was, managed to get a coveted invite.  Akaashi hadn’t asked how he had procured that, sometimes ignorance was bliss.
“-flirting with you.”  Akaashi glanced to the people who had stopped near where he was standing.  He barely managed to contain his surprise when he instantly recognized them as Kuroo and Sawamura, two members of the Fukurodani Group.  Akaashi hadn’t thought of a plan to get close to Bokuto, who always seemed to be surrounded by a swarm of people as he basked in the attention.
“Jealous?”  Sawamura asked, eyebrow raised and voice a bare whisper as he gave his taller companion a cheeky grin that slowly shifted into concern.  “Tetsu, you’re not really jealous-”
“Hey, hey- oh holy shit I’m so sorry!”  The one person Akaashi had been trying to track down had ended up crashing right into him, sending his flute of champagne splashing onto his expensive rental tux.  Akaashi cringed at the deposit he wasn’t getting back.
“It’s alright, I should have watched where I was going.”  Akaashi said but Bokuto was already scrambling to grab napkins before running back and patting Akaashi’s chest.  “Um- it spilled on my sleeve?”  Bokuto paused and Akaashi saw his entire face turn red.
“Uh no, he’s shutting down.”  Kuroo said from behind Akaashi, sounding far too amused.
“It’s alright, really.”  Akaashi assured Bokuto, slipping the napkins out of his hand and handing over the flute before trying to soak up the spilled champagne.  “I moved at the wrong moment, I was trying to subtly give your friends some privacy.”  Akaashi shot Kuroo a pleased look when he watched the other man flounder slightly.
“Nice!”  Bokuto laughed, face returning to his normal golden tan though a faint pinkish blush settled on his cheeks rather nicely.  “Honestly I’m surprised they haven’t snuck off yet.”
“Bo!”  Both men scolded Bokuto.  “He could be a reporter.”  Kuroo gave Akaashi a suspicious look.  There was nothing about Kuroo and Sawamura dating each other, if they were they were keeping it tightly locked up because Akaashi even knew that Sawamura had three rescued dogs and each of their names and birthdates, he knew far too much about each man.
“Just an unfortunate plus one for a friend.”  Akaashi shrugged.  “I was actually trying to find some place to step out to, I wasn’t feeling too well.”  It wasn’t hard to fake sheepishness at that admittance.
“You do look pale.”  Bokuto pressed his face close to Akaashi’s, who tried not to be too insulted by that.  He was pale after all.  “Oh!  Come on, I know the perfect place you can sit down.”  Kuroo tried to say something but Bokuto already had his hand around Akaashi’s wrist and was pulling him through the party at an almost alarming speed.
Bokuto Koutarou was not at all what Akaashi had expected.  He had read all about the high school athlete turned tech genius who had barely managed to graduate high school.  Akaashi would be lying if he hadn’t seen the numerous pictures of Bokuto running shirtless, he seemed to do that a lot and people loved taking pictures of it, or him at a beach surfing, sometimes he was spotted running with one of Sawamura’s dogs.  He was handsome, built thick and strong with some of the nicest muscle definition Akaashi had ever seen.  He had expected someone to fit that image, full of himself and his capabilities.  But Bokuto actually seemed concerned about Akaashi, a man he had known for precisely three minutes.  He seemed excitable like a puppy and the suit fit him extremely well.
“Bokuto you don’t have to do this.”  Akaashi said before he was pulled out of the main hall where the party was being held.  Several large security guards turned their way before quickly looking away.
“It’s fine, sometimes I need a break too and they all just keep asking me about-” Bokuto sucked in a deep breath and those big shoulders caved inward, as if trying to protect himself from invasive questions about his ex.
“About?”  Akaashi pried as he was pulled into a room.  “Your colorful hair?  Or where on earth did you get a tie with dinosaurs fighting robots?”  Akaashi teased him, finding it almost natural to do so.  Bokuto laughed, a loud and booming thing as he motioned to a couch in a room with computers.  Akaashi sat down with not-so feigned relief.  He had to borrow a pair of dress shoes from Konoha, who was a full size smaller than Akaashi.
“It’s neat right?  My niece bought it for me as a present for tonight.”  Bokuto leaned against one of the desks that contained a computer on it.  Akaashi glanced around the room and Bokuto did the same.  “This is our office!  I mean, it’s mine, Tetsurou’s and Daichi’s though Daiki and Masaki come over a lot.  Masaki not as often since he started dating that super model, she’s even taller than me! She’s awesome, Tetsurou bet her she couldn’t pick Daichi up and she did it.”  Bokuto laughed at the memory and Akaashi found himself smiling automatically even as his mind ran with possibilities.
Akaashi had expected to be led to a room full of personal computers.  He had a thumb drive in his pocket that could copy information from them but he obviously couldn’t do it with Bokuto standing there.
Akaashi wasn’t a very good actor.  Komi told him he needed to emote better but it never really worked.  Luckily all Akaashi had to do was rub his eyes a little and slump his body just the smidgen before Bokuto was leaning forward with worry once more.
“I’m sorry Bokuto, I guess I’m more light headed than I thought.”  Akaashi apologized.  “It’s my own fault for not eating today.”
“You need food then!”  Bokuto jumped up.  “Just rest here and I’ll get someone to make you something, stay right here!”  Bokuto ran out of the room and Akaashi was left staring in surprise.
How sweet and unsuspecting Bokuto was.  It made Akaashi feel guilty but he pushed that aside as he strode to one of the desktops, glancing at everything and taking a guess it was Kuroo’s.  Onaga had said their biggest suspect in the whole thing was Kuroo, who did strike Akaashi as the cunning type.  Perhaps he had gotten greedy and wanted more, even though they all had more money than they knew what to do with.
Akaashi started up the computer and put the thumb drive in.  His eye caught on the pictures next to the computer.  One of a tall and lanky woman who looked a surprising amount like Kuroo himself.  There was an old school photo of the five members sitting on what looked like stairs to the school, laughing and eating out of each others lunches.  A third was of Sawamura, fast asleep on a couch with three large dogs sprawled out around and on top of him.
Akaashi had seen some of the worst society had to offer.  He was constantly seeing cheating spouses and siblings who stole from one another.  He was used to thinking the worst of people, it had come naturally over the years as he was proven again and again that if something was put in front of a person and they thought they wouldn’t get caught, they would take the chance.  It had made him jaded at a young age, he admitted that, but he couldn’t quite explain the members of the Fukurodani Group.
By all accounts anyone who worked there had nothing to say but good things about the company itself and the men who ran it.  Everyone came away with glowing recommendations and the company had even helped out an employee who had lost her house to a fire.  The five men seemed as close as could be, constantly being photographed together either working or vacationing.  They gave money to charities, they worked for nonprofits, and despite the fact that they lived in nice places and drove good cars they really didn’t show how wealthy they were.  Even the mansion the three members lived in was modest when considered how much they made.
For once Akaashi hoped that information was wrong about them, that they weren’t involved in anything illegal.
The door knob started turning and Akaashi reached over to turn off the screen but didn’t have time to sit back down as the door swung open and Bokuto entered with his usual energy he seemed to approach everything with.  Akaashi turned, using his body to block the thumb drive that was still stuck in the computer.
“I’m sorry, I got curious and was looking at the photos.”  Akaashi apologized as he motioned to the photos.  Bokuto closed the door with his foot, his hands occupied with a plate and holding a tall glass of water.  He squinted at the photos before placing the plate and cup onto the desk.
“Tetsurou’s kind of a sap.”  Bokuto grinned toothily and Akaashi let out a relieved laugh as he glanced at the pictures once more.  He knew from his advanced research on all of them that Kuroo’s mother had died when he was 20 and he had disappeared from the public eye for nearly an entire year.  “Don’t let anyone know, he has a reputation to uphold after all.”  Akaashi laughed once more at that.  Kuroo did indeed have a reputation.
“Thank you for taking care of me.”  Akaashi had to distract Bokuto so he could extract the thumbdrive and hope there was enough information on it to help clear or confirm Onaga’s suspicions.
“You’re welcome.”  Bokuto grinned.  He really was handsome.  The ex had been quoted saying Bokuto had a lot of problems that the ex really couldn’t deal with, his ups and downs were too frequent and he was too much all the time.  Akaashi thought the ex might be the worlds biggest moron.
Akaashi leaned forward and brushed his lips against Bokuto’s, at the same time he slipped the thumbdrive out of the slot and pressed it into his palm.
“O-oh.”  Bokuto backed up, eyes wide and cheeks flushed.  Akaashi pressed a hand against his mouth, only half feigning his horror at his impulsive action as he pocketed the thumbdrive at the same time.
“I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have done that, please forgive me.”  Akaashi bowed before making a quick retreat.
“Wait!”  Bokuto shouted as Akaashi opened the door, nearly slamming right into Kuroo.  He bowed in apology once more before dodging around Kuroo and walking swiftly down the hall.
Akaashi shook the idea that anything would happen between him and Bokuto.  He had even given a false name to get into the party, he had lied and snuck in to gather information.  Bokuto could even be helping in the illegal activities.
There was no hope for them.
---------------
Konoha was wearing his number eleven grin when Akaashi walked into the office two days later.  He chucked his empty travel coffee cup at Konoha, who dodged easily and that grin only widened.
Akaashi had passed off the thumbdrive to Ogana and had not spent the night looking up the various pictures and information floating around the internet about Bokuto Koutarou.  He knew it was a bit stalkerish but he couldn’t help himself, every time he closed his eyes he saw the wide smile and trusting look, as if no one would ever hurt him willingly.
Akaashi didn’t even have to ask Konoha what his grin meant this time because there was the biggest bouquet Akaashi had ever seen on his desk.  Actually it seemed to consume his entire desk, with the healthiest and prettiest of flowers artfully arranged.  Akaashi approached it cautiously before glancing around.
“Looking for this?”  Konoha asked, holding up the card because of course he had read it before Akaashi.  Akaashi cursed Konoha’s ability of being a morning person as he snatched the card out of his hold and opened it up.
Akaashi!  You didn’t have to sneak in, you could have just asked.  Call me if you want the virus removed. XXXOOO
Akaashi blinked down at the card in confusion before looking at the flowers.  He had no idea how Bokuto even knew his real name, let alone his place of business.  He pulled out his phone and dialed Ogana’s number.
“I’m sorry Akaashi, I can’t speak right now.  That thumbdrive you gave us contained a virus and um- there’s- there’s no nice way of putting it, it’s porn.  So much porn and it spread to all the servers.”  Akaashi let out a long sigh as he looked at the number printed on the card.
“I think I know someone who can get rid of it.”

- His hair isn’t blow drying correctly, it should be sticking up by now
- Has no idea what to wear. A tux with a nice tie? Some casual shorts with a Fukurodani shirt???
- Knows you’re going to look 10000000x better. You slay him every time he looks at you
- Hasn’t really planned anything out yet. No idea where you’re going, how much money he’ll need… what even is the weather outside???
~
- Was pretty confident about how he looked in the end
- Picked you up at your place at exactly 6
- Super nervous around your parents but did an extremely good job at charming them, especially your mother
- His pupils dilated 100% once he saw you
- ‘How does she look this good? Wh ath eFUCK! I AM NO MATCH FOR THEIR GRACEFULNESS.’
- *lowkey goes into emo mode but is too excited to focus on that*
- Once he walks you out of the house, he’s calmed down
- Now you’re both slowly walking into the city, and he’s holding your hand
- You two are already laughing and smiling about your day
- Bokuto started skipping and nearly got hit by a car but it’s okay
~
- Walked you the back way into the city because it was peaceful, and the trees were finally blooming, showing off light pink blossoms
- Bokuto picked one off a tree and put it in your hair… (his smile was so wide at this point)
- Kept you close to him the whole time while walking. He couldn’t stand for you to be too far from him
- Once you got into the city, you both went to a lot of places
- Bokuto bought ice cream~ he got the largest cone with like 3 scoops and engulfed it within 4 seconds
- Of course when you got ice cream on your cheek, Bokuto very seductively licked it off and laughed afterwards, leaving you a blushing mess
- Everywhere you walked, he held hands with you, and he would point out funny things in store windows, and you guys stopped numerous times to pet dogs on leashes
- You both also went into many stores
- - Both of you had to go into the manga/anime store to get all the new shiz
Bokuto always always always fangirls with you over everything
- Ngl half the money was spent in there over new series and a poster
- Both of you would also walk into random stores and try on random things, trying to look as tacky as possible… it allowed for some really silly pictures, and the loud, obnoxious laughs got y’all kicked out
- Bokuto realllllllllllly wanted to go to the zoo with you, so you both went
- “Oohs,” “Ahhs,” and “OHOHOHOs” were heard from both of you as you two looked around at each of the animals. You took pictures while Bokuto tried to imitate the animals
- His eyes widened when he saw the one and only owl
- “Y/N LOOOKK THEY HAVE, THEY HAVE, Y/N THEY HAVE AN O-OWL!!!!!!!!! DO YOU SEE HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS?! ITS FEATHERS ARE SO SILKY AND ITS EYES ARE FIERCE. LOOK IT’S STARING AT ME!!!”
- Bokuto kept jumping around, pulling on your arm as you laughed at his cute actions
~
- After the zoo closed, Bokuto wanted to take you to a place that was special to him
- It was on a hill on towards the outside of the city, and you could see the stars so clearly. It was quiet, and the breeze there was perfect. Plus, the view of the city was astonishing
- He would always go there to rest when he didn’t have practice or school days. He would just sit there and think, allowing himself to happily slip away from reality. While there, he would often think of you, and now, he would love to show you that place he would always fill with love
- When he politely asked you if you wanted to go, he gently took your hand and smoothly walked out of the city with you… though the sun was setting, the light from the city was enough to lead the way
- When you finally got there, Bokuto tightly hugged you, taking all of you in
- “Thank you for tonight, Y/N, I hope this is a good way to end our first date, haha!”
- You nodded as you took in the breathtaking view
- Both of you sat down in the grass and looked up the stars for a long time. You pointed out constellations while Bokuto said that the stars were like tiny volleyballs. Continuous laughing and talking filled the air, and hours went by without even noticing
- “Y/N, I know it’s nearly midnight, and your parents might kill me for keeping you out this late, and I don’t want to face angry parents……. So would you maybe…. Wannasleepoveratmyplace?!”
~
- Let’s just say there was no sleeping at all that night

Prompts: Neighbors, coffee and tongue Pairing: BokuAka
Koutarou was awoken by something crashing and the muffled chatter from next door. He reached out for his phone and groaned. It wasn’t even ten in the morning yet! And his plan for waking up late and spending a well-earned lazy Sunday already seemed to be ruined by the noise from the other apartment.
It could only mean that someone was moving in the empty apartment after a year. He wondered which poor soul was going to live in the haunted apartment next door.
(Koutarou had himself heard furniture move on its own for a few nights…and there was no one living next door at the time! So, there was only one logical reason- it was haunted.)
Someone was dragging furniture right now even and Koutarou wished with all his heart that the ghost would show itself and scare his new neighbor away. No one deserved this torture which he was going through currently.
He covered his head with his pillow but it was too late now. He was wide awake and he knew he couldn’t fall asleep if he was woken once. Koutarou grumbled and left his bed. He’d probably give his neighbor a piece of his mind. He had every right to- and it was good to establish a few ground rules for being good neighbors…right? That was what the old lady downstairs had told him when he had kept a party late at night. You needed ground rules to be a good neighbor.
Koutarou decided he would meet his new neighbor right after getting ready. He brushed his teeth and and took a warm shower. He practiced his serious face in the mirror while he dried his hair and then focused on shaving.
“Look we need to talk- no wait this sounds as if I’m breaking up with my neighbor.” Koutarou frowned as he gelled up his hair. “Hi! I’m your neighbor Bokuto Koutarou! You ruined my lazy Sunday and we need to set up a few rules.” That also didn’t seem right.
He walked back to his room with his towel wrapped around his waist. “Hey, hey, hey neighbor! I’m from next door and- wait I need a welcoming present!” Koutarou frowned. So the the first order of business was to actually get a gift and then talk about the rules.
He quickly wore a shirt and threw on pants, and then searched around for a present in his house. He doubted any nearby stores would be open right now. He found a showpiece of an owl still packed in a cabinet. He still couldn’t find the perfect space for it and even though he didn’t really want to give it away, he supposed it would be a good present at the end of the day.
Koutarou still didn’t know how to greet his neighbor and talk about the rules. He decided he would freestyle it. He was confident in freestyling. He grabbed the owl show piece and left his apartment.
It seemed as if the movers had left already. Koutarou rang the bell and waited. It was right now that he started to wonder how his new neighbor would look like. Was it a sweet old lady? A couple? A drug dealer? A mafia boss under disguise? (He really hoped it wasn’t a mafia boss under disguise.)
The door opened a creak and someone peaked through the small space.
“Hey, hey, hey…I’m your neighbor?” Koutarou waved and the door was opened fully revealing a man with dark, messy hair- the curls framing his face. He had sharp green eyes and he wore a maroon oversized sweater with black pants. He seemed like a model. Koutarou forgot all the words he had to say. Rules? What rules?
“Good morning.” The model yawned. “I’m sorry please come in. I moved…right now so it’s a mess.”
“Yes!” Koutarou said and then realized that the model had made way for him to enter. He fumbled with the owl show piece before handing it over to the other. “A welcome gift!”
The model took the show piece from him and smiled. “Thank you…what’s your name?” he asked as he kept the show piece on the table. Koutarou followed him and saw the whole living room filled with boxes. The table was the only proper piece of furniture in the room.
“Bokuto Koutarou.” He found himself replying. “Are you a model?” He blurted.
“It’s nice to meet you Bokuto-san. You can call me Akaashi- and no I’m afraid I’m not a model.”
“But you’re really good looking!”
A small smile played on Akaashi’s lips. “Right…I’m an editor. Although I am flattered.”
Koutarou found his cheeks growing warm. He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly and then decided to look around the room.
“Do you need help in unpacking?”
“I can manage it.” Akaashi replied. “In a while.”
“Did you have breakfast? I can make breakfast for you!” Koutarou offered. “Lazy Sunday means pancakes and coffee and omelets!”
Akaashi shook his head. “As much as I appreciate you greeting me in the morning and offering breakfast- I’m full. I think you should enjoy your breakfast.”
“You sure?”
“I’m sure.”
A sound similar to stomach rumbling was heard. Koutarou blinked as Akaashi looked away, embarrassed. Koutarou grinned and grabbed Akaashi’s hand.
“C’mon Akashee! I’ll make us breakfast.”
“It’s Akaashi.” He corrected but he let Koutarou lead him to his apartment.
 “So you’re a personal trainer.” Akaashi said as he sipped his coffee.
Koutarou nodded. He swallowed the last of his pancake. “It’s a good job. I don’t get bored.”
“Is your gym near?” Akaashi asked. His gaze seemed to linger at Koutarou’s arms and Koutarou felt himself blush at the attention.
“Yeah it’s a fifteen-minute walk from here.” Could he flex? Would Akaashi be impressed? Instead he reached out for his coffee.
“Oh that’s good. I’ll join it then.”
Koutarou yelped and kept his coffee aside. He had burnt his tongue. “Thams greath!”
He looked up at Akaashi and saw the other with an amused expression.
“Donth look ath me like thath.”
Akaashi shrugged and leaned back against his chair. “I’m not.”
“You are!”
“What makes you think that Bokuto-san?”
“Your face!”
“To be honest, I didn’t think me joining the gym would be such a shock.”
Koutarou covered his and lowered his head. He clearly couldn’t win against Akaashi for such a petty thing.
“Can I help you unpack?” He ended up asking.
Akaashi nodded. “That would be nice.”
“Breakfast with you is nice too.” Koutarou admitted.
Akaashi blinked before taking a sip from his coffee.
“Let’s do this every Sunday!”
“Let’s not rush it Bokuto-san.” Akaashi said softly.
Koutarou frowned before forcing a smile and letting out a small chuckle. “Oh… no pressure Akaashee!”
“But…” Akaashi had his eyes closed. “Breakfast with you is interesting.”
“Sunday breakfasts?” Koutarou leaned in close and batted his eyelashes.
“I’ll tell you after you help me unpack.” Akaashi poked his forehead and pushed him away. He got up from his seat and Koutarou beamed.
“Promise Akaaaashi?” he asked as he followed Akaashi with his plate and mug.
Akaashi sighed as he kept his dishes in the sink. “Please don’t butcher my name. And yes, I promise.”
Koutarou grinned. “You know you don’t have to wait till we finish unpacking.”
“Bokuto-san.”
“Okay, okay! After unpacking it is!”

Take a Picture
Bokuro Week Prompt 5 April 4th: Neon Light
AO3
Bokuto leant his arms on the bar, looking down at the scarred wood that was stained and polished to an inch of its life.  The occupants of the bar was the usual crowd, the younger Ukai in the corner with his friends steadily getting more intoxicated as the night wore on.  The Ukai family ran the only ramen place in town, which closed at 10 along with the majority of the small town.  The night workers tended to find their way to this bar, filling up the biggest booth in the corner and eating the rather good bar food.  Takeda, the young primary school teacher who had gotten a flat outside Ukai’s ramen shop years ago on the way to a job interview in a much larger town, sat next to Ukai, steadily blushing more as the oblivious blonde haired man leaned closer into his space.
Bokuto grinned, propping his chin in his palm as he looked down the bar at another nightly ritual.  Matsukawa Issei, the owner of the bar, was showing his husband how to make overly complicated drinks that no in the history of this bar has ever ordered.  Daichi was pretending to be annoyed, watching Issei’s flourishing movements and his big eyebrows wiggle at him suggestively as he poured the neon blue drink into the clear cup.
“I don’t even want to know how you got it that color.”  Daichi sat on the other side of the bar from husband of three months now, his mock exasperation could not hide the fondness and love clearly written all over his freckled face.
“Dai-chi, if you had been watching you would know, now you have to drink it.”  Matsukawa slid the drink in front of Daichi, leaning his arms on the bar and letting his usually impassive features slip into a grin.
“I’m not going to drink something that’s glowing.”  Daichi sounded stern but he was reaching up, brushing his fingers through Issei’s dark errant curls, pushing them out of his face.  “You need a haircut.”
“It’s not glowing.”  Matsukawa protested, but it was weak since he was leaning into Daichi’s hand, heavily lid eyes almost closing completely.
“It’s neon.”  Daichi pressed a soft kiss to his husbands nose.  Bokuto hadn’t thought they could get more adorable than than had been when first dating, but apparently he was severely wrong.  They fought like a normal couple, the bar really was a money pit even though Matsukawa and Bokuto were the only ones who worked there, and Matsukawa’s laid back nature greatly contrasted Daichi’s but the love between them was clear to anyone.
Bokuto pushed himself up, stretching and making his way to the kitchen to try out the next recipe in his book.  It was over a thousand recipes from around the world, he was working on the art of making the perfect burger.  He couldn’t seem to get the seasoning just right, though the fries he made were always a hit.  Matsukawa never minded Bokuto experimenting in the bars kitchen, as long as he got a taste of the end product.  Then again Matsukawa wasn’t really ever bothered by much of anything.
Bokuto was putting everything onto plates, he had made mini burgers for those in the bar, while making full sized ones for himself, Matsukawa, and Daichi when he heard Daichi’s calm demand from the bar telling Bokuto to grab the first aid kit.  Bokuto dug the metal box out from beneath the counter before walking out from the kitchen, wondering who had hurt themselves now.
Bokuto was not prepared for the tall, lanky man sitting at the bar, holding bloodied tissues to his nose.  His hair was a spill of inky blackness that was an odd combination of hanging directly in his face and sticking straight up.  He was dark skinned like Daichi, though minus the freckles.  His chin had clearly met some concrete judging from the road rash and little bits of debri stuck in the bloodied skin.
“Bo?”  Daichi snapped Bokuto out of his inner thoughts and he brought the box over to Daichi, who had more than his fair share of patching people up.  “You said there was three of them?”  Daichi asked as Matsukawa put a clear glass of water down in front of the stranger, before putting a clean bowl of water near Daichi so the shorter man could clean out the wounds.
“Yeah, couldn’t have been older than 16.”  The guy sighed, smirking a little self deprecatingly as he lowered the bloodied tissues so Daichi could work easier.  “I didn’t even see it coming.  Should I call the police?”
“No need,” Matsukawa grinned lazily as he leaned against the counter, pressing into Daichi’s space as the other man carefully touched around the tall mans nose.  Daichi used a wet wipe to clean off his slightly bloodied hands before tugging out his badge before using the chain around it to hang it from his neck.
“Lucky me.”  The guy took a deep drink of the water before Daichi started to clean up the scraps on his hands.
“What’s your name?”  Bokuto asked, maybe a little too enthusiastically as he realized this poor, very attractive man, had been mugged.
“Kuroo, Kuroo Tetsurou.”  Kuroo winced but smirked over at Bokuto, a little cunning twist of his lips.  “Thanks for uh- patching me up.”  Kuroo flexed his long fingers.
“Your nose isn’t broken but you should put some ice on it before it starts swelling too bad.”  Daichi’s own nose was permanently crooked from being broken a dozen or so times, he knew all about broken noses.  “I’ll go track down your things.”  Daichi stood up and Matsukawa followed him down to the end of the bar.
“Is he going to be okay?  They were teenagers but there was three- oh wow.”  Kuroo stopped as he looked over where Daichi and Matsukawa were talking, the taller man flirting blatantly.  Bokuto understood Kuroo’s sudden stop, Daichi looked completely wholesome up close but from far away, in faded jeans and a tight black shirt, it was quite obvious how much muscle he had.
“He’ll be fine.”  Bokuto assured Kuroo with a laugh, earning those hazel eyes to look over him.  “Plus he has a partner.”  Daichi and Iwaizumi pretty much made up their entire police force but really, that’s all the town needed.  No one wanted to get on either of their bad sides.  “Oh!  Wait there.”  Bokuto hurried back to the kitchen, grabbing the plates of food before walking back out and settling a plate with a big burger and overflowing with fries down in front of Kuroo.
“I can’t really afford this.”  But Kuroo’s eyes didn’t stray from the food.
“Don’t worry, it’s on me or on the house, I don’t know but you don’t have to pay for it.”  Bokuto took the other plates, full of mini burgers and fries, over to the booth where he was met with a wave of happy drunk cheering.  By the time Bokuto made it back over to Kuroo he was already half way through his burger and Matsukawa had pulled out the last two plates from the  kitchen, eating his own burger.
“Is it good?”  Bokuto asked hopefully as he ate a couple fries off his own full plate.
“Yeah- um- sorry, I don’t know why I’m so hungry.”  Kuroo apologized as he swallowed down the food in his mouth.
“Getting mugged does leave one feeling ravished.”  Matsukawa deadpanned from down the bar.
“Does that happen a lot?”  Kuroo asked worriedly.
“No, at least you’re the first I’ve heard of it.”  Bokuto answered quickly to reassure him before taking note of the expensive looking camera that Kuroo was clutching to his chest.  It was a bit dirty and the corner was scuffed but Kuroo was holding it like a child.  “You take pictures?”
“Oh?  Oh yes, I do, it was the only thing I managed to save.  I mean I guess I should have kept tighter tabs on my bag full of my wallet and everything but-” Kuroo shrugged, not the least bit embarrassed.  “It was hanging around my neck, so when they shoved me I fell forward and they took off with my bag.  It hit the ground hard but it still works.”  He looked massively relieved as he polished off the rest of his food.  Bokuto wasn’t in the habit of sharing his food, he had a rather large appetite, but he slid the rest of his fries onto Kuroo’s plate as he finished the rest of his own burger.  Kuroo flashed him a thankful smile, it was a little sharp and mocking but Bokuto found himself liking it quite a bit.
“So you actually take photos for a living?”  Bokuto asked as he refilled Kuroo’s cup of water.
“Yeah, I uh- saw a bunch of fireflies in a field of wild flowers, wandered off and completely missed my bus and ended up getting very lost.”  Kuroo was grinning through the whole explanation, as if that happened quite often to him.  “I work for a travel site, we’re doing small towns now and I’ve kind of just been wandering around, taking buses when I see them, stopping wherever I want.”  Kuroo shrugged, placing his camera carefully on the bar before he began to fiddle with it.  Long tanned fingers making easy, practiced movements before he took a picture of the glasses behind the bar, checking the viewfinder and sighing in relief at what he saw there.
“You want to see something cool?”  Bokuto asked, ignoring Matsukawa snickering further down the bar.
“Yeah.”  Kuroo answered easily, which Bokuto liked.  Bokuto felt bad for Kuroo, who had clearly not been given the best first impression of their small town, but Bokuto was a constant optimistic, he knew he could change that around.
“Mattsun?”  Bokuto asked, since technically he was scheduled to work for a couple hours.
“Go on, don’t forget the-” Matsukawa glanced purposely at Kuroo.  “-stuff.”  Bokuto laughed.  Most people knew Matsukawa in this town, knew he was a bit of a prankster, that he liked messing with with people so he always got a little carried away when new people showed up.  Bokuto did grab a baggie from his bag tucked under the bar, shoving it into his pocket as he pulled on a beanie.  The summer nights were beginning to get colder and Bokuto’s ears always were the first thing to freeze.
“Is this where you take me out to an abandoned lot, drug me, and steal my organs?”  Kuroo asked as he easily kept pace with Bokuto’s usual looping walk.  Bokuto grinned over at him, noticing they were roughly the same size, maybe Kuroo was a bit taller though he walked slightly slumped over.
“And yet you’re still following me.”  Bokuto teased easily.
“I’m intrigued.”  Kuroo said with a shrug.  Where Bokuto wanted to take him wasn’t far but Bokuto wasn’t surprised when Kuroo started questioning him about the people he had met so far.  “Will that officer really be alright?”
“His muscles aren’t just for show, Daichi used to be a cage fighter and a damn good one, he’s got a bunch of titles and won a ton of championships.”  Bokuto grinned at the surprised look on Kuroo’s face.  “Most people get that look when they hear about it too.”  Bokuto pulled out his phone, typing in Sawamura Daichi before showing Kuroo the first picture that popped up, which was Daichi holding up a black and gold belt, blood dripping down his face and covered in sweat.
“Holy shit.”  Kuroo let out a surprised laugh.  “But he looks so- I mean- why did he stop fighting?”
“He travelled a lot, he was in New York when he got news his dad had gotten sick but he didn’t think it was serious until, you know, it got serious.  He’s fine!  Perfectly fine now, he throws a BBQ every Thursday and the entire town shuts down to go to it.”  Bokuto was excited for the BBQ the next day.  “He said he was so focused on his own goals and future that he lost track of everything else, when he heard his dad was in the hospital he flew back immediately and then started to realize how out of touch he was with everyone, not only just his own family but all his friends too.  So he moved back, started teaching self defense down at the center, coaches the high school judo club, and then became our chief of police.”  Kuroo was watching Bokuto with interest, hazel eyes clear even in the dark night.
“Wow, now I almost feel bad for those kids.”  Kuroo said softly, causing Bokuto to laugh.  Those kids were going to wish they had stayed home tonight.  “So him and eyebrows at the bar-?”  Bokuto laughed again.  Matsukawa’s eyebrows were ridiculously fluffy.
“Married, got married a couple months ago actually.”  Bokuto grinned, happy for them.  It had been a backyard wedding the entire town had been invited, they had worn slacks with crisp white button downs and vests over top.  Daichi had worn an orange tie while Matsukawa had worn a teal bowtie, they had looked handsome and deliriously happy.  “Matsukawa has a pretty interesting backstory too.”
“Do tell.”  Kuroo smirked over at him, looking more and more relaxed despite his swollen nose and busted chin.
“Matsukawa’s family has always gone into law, they even have their own law firm and Matsukawa was a very high profile, expensive as shit divorce attorney.”  They were almost to their destination.  “A couple years ago he just up and quits, moves out here and started investing in the town.  That bar had been abandoned for decades, Matsukawa rebuilt it.  He converted an old abandoned strip mall into a hotel, he made a park and a public garden.  The primary school almost had to shut down, which meant all the kids in town would have to be shipped to the next down over with the secondary and high school kids, but Matsukawa saved that too.”
“Because of Sawamura?”  Kuroo guessed but Bokuto shook his head, though it was a logical assumption.
“Daichi came home after Matsukawa got here.”  Bokuto pulled apart a wire link fence, holding it open for Kuroo who shot him a curious look but ducked down to pass by it, Bokuto followed by and put the fence back into place.  “Apparently Matsukawa hated his job from day one.  It’s a bunch of rich people trying to hurt each other, not caring who gets caught in the crossfire, which ends up being their kids a lot of the time.  His parents tracked him down about two years ago, demanded he come back but by then he had met Daichi and he definitely wasn’t leaving after that.”  Kuroo looked like he was about to ask more questions but Bokuto pulled the baggie out of his pocket and gave the bedheaded man a manic grin.
“Do I want to know?”  Kuroo asked, only slightly wary which was a good sign.  Something large and on all fours rounded the corner, trotting over to them.  “Holy shit, holy shit man, is that dog on steroids?”  Bokuto laughed as he opened the baggie, shoving something into Kuroo’s hand before kneeling down and presenting his own favor to the, admittedly rather large, dog.
“This is Daisy and she demands treats otherwise she’ll go get her dad.”  The large dog took the bone-shaped treat out of Bokuto’s hand delicately, like the little lady she was, before giving Kuroo a pointed look.  “Give it to her.”
“Her name is Daisy, of course it is, hey girl, here’s your tribute, please don’t eat me I’ve had a bad night and it just recently got better.”  Kuroo cooed at the dog, slightly nervous as he held out the treat at arms length.  Daisy took the treat just as gently as she had taken it from Bokuto, giving the short nub of her tail a nice wiggle before she trotted off the way she came from.  “Bo, bro, a little warning next time.”
“Sorry,” Bokuto obviously wasn’t all that sorry as he started to walk through the carefully kept maze.
“Will there be more dogs?”  Kuroo asked cautiously.
“Probably but their own keeps track of them, Daisy is the only one trusted enough to wander where she pleases.”  Bokuto hummed, turning a corner and effectively cutting off Kuroo’s next barrage of questions as they came upon a full size carousel.  It shined even in the dead of night, meticulously well kept.
“What- what kind of town have I come into?”  Kuroo asked, carefully stepping up onto the carousel, fingers running over the long neck of a black horse throwing its head back.  “Is it okay for us to be here?”
“Yeah, we gave Daisy her treats.”  Bokuto stepped up onto the carousel himself, walking to the main compartment and pulling open a small mirror that revealed the control panel.  “Please take a seat.”  Bokuto grinned as he tossed on the lights, which were a little blinding but only for a minute.
“Those kids knocked me unconscious, didn’t they?  I’m laying in the road, unconscious right now.”  Kuroo hopped up and sat sideways on a white unicorn, staring over at Bokuto in wonder and amusement, plus a dash of disbelief.
“Might as well enjoy it then.”  Bokuto pressed the series of keys that would start up the ride, keeping it slow, the music soft in the night air.
“You are something else.”  Kuroo brought his camera up to his eye, snapping pictures as the unicorn lazily lifted him up and down.  Bokuto laughed, letting Kuroo grow used to it before making his way off the carousel, jumping off the edge with practiced ease.  Kuroo was too busy leaning back on the unicorn, tilting his camera to left just a little and snapping another picture to realize Bokuto had walked away, which was good because he wanted to surprise the black haired man just one more time.
Bokuto started running from one sign to another.  The carousel was such a statement piece that most people forgot to look to see what was surrounding it.  Bokuto started to turn on the lights, humming along with the soft music of the carousel.
“Holy shit Bo!”  Kuroo was laughing, body turned to face outwards as he leaned forward, one hand gripping the pole running through the unicorn and the other holding his camera tucked closely to his chest.
The carousel was surrounded by huge, now glowing, neon signs.  Some were written in kanji, some in English or Hebrew, some flashed dancing girls or moving pomperganents.  They lit up the night and Bokuto new from experience the best view was right from the carousel.
Bokuto hopped back on, right next to Kuroo who was grinning before holding up his camera to snap a couple more pictures.
“What is all this?”  Kuroo asked with amusement, camera turning on Bokuto who was probably watching Kuroo with an all too sappy look.  “Sorry sorry, I should have asked if I could- but the lighting is really great and you- you have a nice face.”
“Thanks?”  Bokuto laughed, felt his cheeks heat up.  He had always thought he looked a bit odd, tall and a little too broad with wide features and heavily hooded eyes.  “It’s our towns version of a junkyard.”
“Who’s out there?”  A booming voice called out, threatening and dark and accompanied by a couple excited barks.  Bokuto moved to turn off the carousel, stepping down as a dark figure turned the corner, surrounded by dogs.
“Hey hey hey Kyoutani!”  Bokuto called out as the other man stopped and scowled.  The scowl didn’t mean much, the only person who could really remove it completely was Kyoutani’s boyfriend.  “Sorry, did we wake you up?”  It was only 10 but Kyoutani was usually up early, he was the towns vet and worked on all animals small or big.
“No, Iwaizumi left a little ago.”  Kyoutani’s sharp eyes looked over at Kuroo as the lanky man stepped won from the ride on slightly unsteady feet.
“This is Kuroo Tetsurou, Kuroo this is Kyoutani Kentarou.”  Daisy walked over, pressing her large head into Kuroo’s thigh and nearly knocking him over.  Kyoutani watched the scene with narrowed eyes, only relaxing when Kuroo reached down to give Daisy a scratch behind her ears.  “Kuroo got mugged earlier so I was trying to cheer him up.”  Kyoutani scowled a little less, almost non existent brows pressing together in a look that took Bokuto a long time to realize was concern.
“Hey why are all the lights- oh hey Bokuto.”  Iwaizumi walked up behind Kyoutani, fingers lightly pressing against Kyoutani’s back, causing the blonde man to relax just slightly as the dogs bounced excitedly around Iwaizumi.  “Is that Kuroo?  Sorry about what happened, we found all your things and left them at the hotel.”
“That was fast.”  Kuroo said in surprise as he stepped up to Bokuto’s side.
“We’re a small town, if you want to press charges give us a call in the morning, Daichi left his card with your things.”  Iwaizumi then glanced down at the dogs.  “Kentarou, why are their six dogs?”
“He just wandered in.”  Kyoutani rubbed the scruff of a dark chocolate lab who was gray around the muzzle.
“Ken-” Iwaizumi was clearly trying not to smile but was quickly losing the battle.  “You know who’s dog that is.”
“If they can’t keep an eye on him then they don’t deserve to have a dog.”  Kyoutani snapped but his ears were bright red as Iwaizumi stepped forward, rubbing the muzzle of the dog before looking over at Kyoutani.  “Fine! I’ll go call them.  Don’t forget to turn off the fucking lights, and next time call before you just come into someone’s private property!”  Kyoutani stormed off, the dogs racing off in his wake.
“Night Kyoutani!”  Bokuto waved though the younger man didn’t turn to look.  Bokuto turned his grin on Iwaizumi, whose property it actually belonged to.
“You should head home, are you coming to the BBQ tomorrow?”  Iwaizumi asked, clicking his tongue to get the attention of Daisy who left Kuroo’s side to go push her big head into Iwaizumi’s thigh, the man didn’t even nudge an inch.  Bokuto nodded enthusiastically.  “You should bring your friend, if he’s planning to stick around.”  Iwaizumi waved before walking back towards to the house.
“Thank you!”  Kuroo called out quickly.
“Come on, Kyoutani’s always kind of mad but we don’t want to anger Iwaizumi.”  Bokuto turned off the lights quickly, distantly noting that Kuroo was still taking pictures and wondering if he would be the center of any of them.  Bokuto wondered how many folders on Kuroo’s computer or hard drive were there of strangers in strange towns, if Bokuto had made any sort of impact.
“So those two?”  Kuroo asked as he followed Bokuto towards the hotel.
“Yeah, Kyoutani’s basically been in love with Iwaizumi since infancy.”  Iwaizumi was a couple years older.  Kyoutani had confessed when he was in high school, but Iwaizumi had gently turned him down considering he had already graduated and Kyoutani had a bright future ahead of him as a vet.  Everyone had been surprised when four years ago Kyoutani had shown up in town, set up his own veterinary clinic and continued to pursue Iwaizumi.
“Committed.”  Kuroo sounded impressed.
“Iwaizumi’s best friend calls Kyoutani mad dog,” Oikawa Tooru had nicknames for everyone, Bokuto had let the tall model ugly cry on his shoulder during Matsukawa and Daichi’s wedding.  “People think it’s because he’s got kind of a problem with anger, he’s pretty good with it now but when he was a kid he got into a bunch of fights.  But the name is because he doesn’t let anything go once he gets ahold of it.  Iwaizumi hadn’t turned Kyoutani down because he didn’t feel the same but because the difference between 15 and 19 is a lot bigger than 26 and 30.”  They were happy.  Kyoutani put up with Iwaizumi hoarding strange relics like neon signs from around the world and old carousels and Iwaizumi let Kyoutani keep all the stray dogs, cats, pigs, and even two goats he found.
“So about that BBQ,” Kuroo said slowly as the hotel came into view.
“Oh yeah, you don’t have to of course, you kind of had a shitty first impression-”
“It got better from there.”  Kuroo smirked, head tilted, fingers playing with his camera.
“Ah- good.  That’s, yeah that’s good.”  Bokuto grinned, a little goofily but he couldn’t really help that.  “I’m glad.  But if you are planning to stick around, there’s a couple more places I could show you and Daichi’s dad does make an absurd amount of food.”  The old Sawamura house looks like something out of an old fairytale too, but Bokuto wanted that to be a surprise for Kuroo who saw the beauty in a field full of fireflies and old neon signs.
“That sounds great.”  Kuroo grinned, stopping as they reached the door that held the main desk of the strip mall converted into a hotel.  “Can I-” Kuroo was holding his camera so Bokuto assumed he wanted a picture.  Bokuto nodded, smiling happily until Kuroo was taking a step closer and pressing a quick kiss to Bokuto’s still smiling mouth.  It was warm and soft, Bokuto stared in surprise before letting out a loud laugh.
“I’ll pick you up tomorrow!  Shit sorry, that was loud, oh god I’m still screaming-” Bokuto stepped back as Kuroo cackled, a loud laugh that filled the area and made Bokuto feel warm.  “I’ll be here, tomorrow, good day sir- I have no idea why I said that, goodbye, I mean goodnight, I’ll see you- oh god.”  Bokuto ducked his head and forced himself to walk away like a normal person, Kuroo’s happy sounding laugh a soft warmth against his back.
